From "The House of Israel" to "The Christian Nations of the World"

What Satan did in the Garden of Eden, what our brother angels, those still loyal to Satan, did by coming to earth, out of turn, without first being born in the womb and impregnating daughters of Eve. What God had to do by flooding the near east in the days of Noah in order to preserve the only eight pureblooded Adamic descendants left on earth and rid the land of the evil bloodlines that Satan's angels started. It was all part of Satan's attempt to try to keep a pureblooded eighth day descendant of Adam for Christ to be born onto from existing. And what God had to do to preserve that pure bloodline. Noah and his family beings the only persons left on earth who were perfect in their generations.

In fact we are told by Paul that all the things that have happened physically to the ancient Israelites were for us to see as examples of what Satan will try on us spiritually in these end times. Through it all Christ was born to a pureblooded daughter of eighth day man, crucified and risen.

But, even since Christ's sacrifice Satan continually tries, by diversion, to disrupt God's plan for the of salvation for his creation. You can see it throughout history. Satan makes attempts to corrupt God plan; God steps in and defends His plan.

From the time God provided an escape from Egyptian slavery for the children of Jacob, throughout their wondering in the wilderness, to the breakup of the David's kingdom into two seperate countries (The House of Israel and The House of Judah), to the carrying off of "The House of Israel" along with much of the "House of Judah" by Assyria in 721 B.C., to the carrying off of the remainder of "The House of Judah", those still living in Jerusalem, to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar 135 years later. Satan is still attempting to interfere with God's plan, but you can see God's hand in helping Jeremiah's escape from Nebuchadnezzar and the Chaldean army with Royal Seed for Replanting. You can see God's hand in the founding of our United States of America from a branch of the ancient Israelites.

No, Satan isn't accomplishing all he'd like; neither will he stop trying until his punishment is carried out and he "is no more" at the end of "The Millennium". There are some things God now permits Satan to do, because that is also part of God's plan to weed out those of us who refuse to return God's love for us, preferring to still follow Satan's ways. We'll see it in God's revelation of end time events, to the apostle John, when we get to "the beasts" Jesus shows to John, and he describes in his book. "The Revelation of Jesus Christ", which God gave unto him, to show the things which must "shortly come to pass".  When John says, "shortly come to pass", we must realize he did not mean shortly after his own life on earth; he meant shortly after the time he was taken to in the spirit by the Lord. Don't miss it when we get there! But, for now, back to O.T. history and "end time" prophetic events.

#4117Not all Jews are of the tribes of Judah much less Israelites It happened in Esther's day and again many times since.
#4152These Israelites are not the people we call Jews today.
#4121   We Christian descendants of the ancient Israelites have become like wild grapes.
#4225  It is they, not the Jews, who, after the ending of their punishment in the 18th and 19th centuries A.D. must inherit the unbreakable promises to Abraham of national greatness, resources, wealth and power.
#4248    Remnant - Only a remnant of the Judahiats were left for Nebuchadnezzar to take to Babylon in 586BC. The majority of the Judahaits were taken away by the Assyrians not the Babylonians!  About 140 years later the remaining Judahites, a remnant were taken captive by the Babylonians.  It was this remnant of Judahites and their descendants who were preserved to set the stage in the Holy Land for the coming of Christ the Messiah.
#4136 The United States in prophecy, again!
#4235  Except the LORD build the house ...
#4233   Thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
#4214   Covenant made with David to establish his throne forever.
#4178   I will destroy the House of Israel (10 northern tribes), but not House of Judah (2 southern tribes), and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.  I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
#4157    End days reference to Judah and Israel as two separate entities; neither of which we know as Jews today.

If you would like to know more about real "faith" then study the great Book of James, which many people are surprised to learn was actually written to the tribes of Israel who were taken captive by Assyria and scattered abroad, even to these Americas. James 1:1 "James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting." Christians, read the one book of the Bible that was addressed specifically to you.(Live link to--James Table of Contents)

The book of Hosea is must read for all Americans.(Live link to--Hosea Table of Contents)
A preview of some of the many things we will learn in Hosea.

"What is a book titled "Salvation" doing in the Old Testament?" The answer is quite simple. Our Father placed it here for our understanding, to learn not only why salvation is necessary, but especially how He feels about His children who have gone astray (even from the first earth age), and to understand the tremendous love He has in that He would not only give His life but He would take back a wife who was once an unfaithful adulterous.

To that end, this book of Hosea is written which contains very graphic and descriptive language presented in such a way that we might be able to form a PICTURE in our minds of the spiritual things our Father wants us to SEE! The Word of God is full of such imagery. In fact, all that is necessary for our spiritual understanding, including not only such things as salvation, but even all the prophecies written for this final generation, have been acted out in history and recorded for us in His Word. Paul documents this in 1 Cor. 10:11, "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."

It is important to notice that Judah and Israel have separate kings.

That is because the 12 Tribe Nation of Israel became TWO separate nations following the reign of king Solomon and HAVE BEEN SO EVER SINCE. The southern tribes of Judah and Benjamin became known as the House of Judah and the northern ten tribes became known as the House of Israel. (Most Bibles have maps in their appendixes which will clearly show these two nations as separate.)

You see, without understanding who and where the House of Israel and the House of Judah are today, one cannot understand Bible prophecy.

So why did God tell Hosea to go marry a whore?

Hosea 1:2 The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms and children of whoredoms: for the land hath committed great whoredom, departing from the LORD.

You must learn to read carefully if you desire to understand the simplicity of God's Word

The priests were NOT the sons of Levi, i.e. priests ordained by God. Are the "Many" preachers who come in the name of Jesus and stand in the pulpits of the Beth-avens in this nation, and deceive "Many", ordained of God or ordained of men? They sure look like true Christian ministers, don't they? And if you are not familiar with God's Word you would say they sure sound like true Christian ministers, don't they? And those buildings sure look like Beth-els, don't they? The question is, "Does the preacher follow and teach God's commands from Genesis through Revelation or does he or she promote fictional fairy tales like "Left Behind"?

You see, it is kenites of the house of Hemath, the direct descendents of Cain, who through their control and influence of the Four Hidden Dynasties shall afflict the House of Israel right up to the end of this flesh age.

Did you know that these events which happened of old were actually "ensamples" for us today, which God brought to pass so that we could SEE and KNOW what would befall us in these last days "upon whom the end of the world are come"? 1 Cor. 10:11 "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."

Therefore, if we would like to know what is in store for America, we need to know what happened in the Valley of Achor and the exodus from Egypt, right?

The Book of Hosea is divided into two sections.
The first of which is the first three chapters gives us an overview as to the severity of the adultery/idolatry of God's people along with His plan of salvation (Hosea) to take back His estranged wife, Israel.
The second section, from chapter 4 to the end, contains the details of Israel's transgressions and transgressors as our Father presents His legal case against her and lays the foundation for the judgment to come at the return of Christ.

Tim. 4:1
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
The "quick" are those who are "spiritually alive", i.e. have eternal life. Their judgment shall be reward and their relief shall be eternal life whereby they are no longer subject to judgment or the second death (Rev. 20:6).

The "dead" are the "spiritually dead" and they will be required by the Judge to go through the probationary period of the Millennium to await final judgment at the Great White Throne before they can receive eternal life. You see, the problem is that God's children have forgotten His Word and have once again gone astray. There is perversion and much corruption in our land. So perhaps it is timely that we as a nation currently find ourselves steeped in the midst of legal controversy and judgment, even involving the Supreme Court.

Did you know that preachers are taught in seminaries not to teach those things which are controversial, lest they offend members of their congregations.

You see, everyone knows that God told mother Eve
not to eat the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil
which was in the midst of the garden, right?

The only problem is that most people do NOT know what that "fruit" was
that she was not supposed to eat
nor do they know who the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was.

Do you?

Many question whether or not Adam participated in the seduction, the "affair", which took place in the fig grove.

It is written that they both were deceived, i.e. ate of the bad fruit, Eve directly from the voice of Satan and Adam through the voice of the woman.

It is not written that they both "touched" the tree, though they will both discover their nakedness. Obviously Eve did "naga" because she conceived Cain and the result was that her punishment was to be sorrow (labor pangs) in child bearing which follows conception.Genesis 3:16 "Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."

The preachers and ministers either cannot understand the simplicity of what happened in the garden of Eden or they won't teach it because it's controversial, lest they offend members of their congregations.
Ahh! The collection plate!

Here is another question: Have you ever read about the "grove worship" upon the tops of the mountains, i.e. the religious sexual orgies of Ashtoreth, also known as Ishtar, from whom we get the word "Easter"?

Speaking of whoredoms, did you know that Ishtar (Easter) was a "sex goddess" and that Ishtar "eggs" and "quick-like-a-bunny rabbits" are symbols of sexual fertility? Better get yourself a good Bible Dictionary and do a little research. You might be eating some really bad fruit, or shall we say rotten eggs!

You can go to church faithfully every week for decades, and you can call Easter (Ishtar), and you can do many wonderful works and contribute to many wonderful charities, and you can say "Lord, Lord, Praise the Lord" a million times, but though you call yourself a Christian, if you allow yourself to be deceived by the MANY who claim to be his Ministers instead of DOING your Father's Will, His Word, you will stand naked in that day, without a wedding garment on (Mat. 22:11-14), and you shall not enter in!

Thus saith the Lord God:

Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
This is why it is so important to read and understand the Book of Hosea, the Book of Salvation.God uses examples and analogies that people can see and feel and relate to in order to get them to SEE and understand the things which are spiritual. The Bridegroom, Jesus Christ, has taken a far journey but He will soon be returning to take His virgin bride to wife! How do you think He will feel when He returns and discovers that His bride is pregnant or already a nursing a baby? Wouldn't you be angry? That is why Jesus gave the following warning to those who would be present IN THOSE DAYS, the days just preceding His return, i.e. THESE DAYS in which we live!

The following words of Jesus Christ are a spiritual analogy, which is easily understood by those who are familiar with the Book of Hosea.

Luke 21:23
But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
These are then 5 virgins that fall because of their adultery/idolatry! As it is written, they shall receive His WRATH.

What about the other 5 virgins?

Luke 23:29
For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

In the last days, our days, the servants of God will "see", as in understand, the visions of the prophets, i.e. the prophecies, the visions of the future they wrote concerning the return of Christ and the days just prior to His return. And they shall "prophesy", which means they shall teach the prophets. (Teach us what the prophets meant) Hosea was one of those prophets, so you should studyHosea.   Log unto Hosea

We who make up the Christian nations of the world are, for the most part, descendants of those ancient Israelites. Are any of us today, pureblooded descendants of eighth day Adam? I doubt that! Does it matter? No, Christ was born to a pureblooded descendant of eighth day Adam and shed His blood as a sacrifice for any of us who will accept His gift of salvation. Any of us who will take advantage of it, no matter our race, whether we are from sixth day mankind or eighth day man. His offer is for all of His creation, children of Cain included. For all who repent and seriously ask Him to come into their hearts and lives. So we as members of Christ's church (His body, not some denomination or building) welcome all to join us in our love for are savior Jesus Christ. Join us. Study to shew thyself approved unto God,... 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. ..., rightly dividing the word of truth.  ...Learn to tell the difference between what is holy and what is profane. Ezekiel 44:23  And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. Ezekiel is prophesying about the time after Christ's return, but that is no reason for us not to start now! Become a workman that needeth not to be ashamed. Than teach others in order to cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. Between Satan, when he comes to earth claiming to be Christ (the unclean) and the real Christ (the clean). Become a watchman like Ezekiel was commanded to be. (Live link to)-our It is the solemn duty of a watchman to sound the alarm and warn the people. pamphlet

Ezekiel 33:1  Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: 3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; 4  Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. 6  But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. 7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. 8  When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. 10  Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? 11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. 13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. 14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; 15  If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. 16  None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live. 17  Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal. 18  When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby. 19  But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby. 20  Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

The appointment to the position of watchman was made after Ezekiel had eaten the scroll, i.e. read the complete Word of God.

Ezekiel 3:17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
Throughout the Book of Ezekiel the watchman is told to warn the people in the manner of "Thus saith the Lord GOD". He or she is to HEAR the word directly from God, i.e. His Word, (today that means study your Bible) and warn the people about their idolatry (traditions of men, churchianity) and the soon coming king of Babylon, the abomination of desolation. You see, the Word of God is the Power and Authority! He has given his servants His Word! John 17:14 "I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."

Thus saith the Lord "Take heed" to my commands. (Live link to)-our take heed pamphlet.

Jeremiah 31:6  For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God. 7  For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel. 8  Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither. 9  They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

Jeremiah 4:10  Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock. 11  For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he. 12  Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all. 13  Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD. 14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion: 15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. 16  And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more. 17  At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart. 18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers. 19  But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.

Vision's of the prophets - We need  to understand that the prophets Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi  wrote these things for us, TODAY, in this final generation. Now that you know these books were addressed to you as a descendant of true Israel and not to that little country in the middle east, called Israel, since the year 1948, I'm sure studying them will be so much more of a blessing to you. There is much symbolism in scripture, God takes things we can SEE with our flesh eyes and uses them to represent something else that we need to SEE with our spiritual eyes. If you understand what the symbols represent in an analogy then that which is being taught will be made very simple and easy to understand by the imagery etched in your mind. The proverb "a picture is worth a thousand words" is true, and it is a well documented and established fact that people remember far more of what they SEE than what they hear or read, even if what they SEE is only in their mind's eye, i.e. a picture which they have mentally created! God knows that, of course, which is exactly why the Holy Spirit gives us so many simple pictures, models, and plays to see and watch in His Word. However, if you do not understand what the symbols represent, you will then scratch your head in wonderment and declare that which has been made so simple to be confusing, complex and mysterious, which is the way many folks describe the plain and simple Word of God.

Ezekiel 37:1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, Can these dry dead bones be brought back to life? More thoughts about "God's Stone Kingdom

Amos
Amos saw the spiritual condition of our nation (the United States) two years before the return of Christ!

The following introduction to Amos is quite lengthy but Amos is a book we Christians should all read and understand.

Amos has told us that the 10 tribes of the house of Israel, which are headed today by the largest nation of those tribes, the United States of America, are not exempt from His wrath in the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and that they are also in big trouble with the Lord on His Day. Yes, we as nation have forgotten the God who unconditionally promised our father Abraham and confirmed through Isaac and Jacob that He would give us all that we needed in this great land "from sea to shining sea". And the birthright nations of Ephraim and Manasseh, England and America the Beautiful respectively, were to be the standard bearers of Christianity and we were to "Proclaim LIBERTY (not enslavement) throughout ALL the land and unto the inhabitants thereof". Those underlined words are taken directly from Leviticus 25:10 and are inscribed on America's Liberty Bell and relate to the jubilee year which also concerns ECONOMIC FREEDOM! Here is a question for you to consider: "How many church going Christians in America do you think have heard and understood these words contained in the Book of Amos, words that the LORD has specifically spoken unto them?" Listen to words of Amos, the "herdman", because MANY, in fact MOST, of the shepherds of the churches of our land do NOT teach the prophets to our Christian brothers and sisters! Yes, many, many Christians have faithfully gone to their churches for decades and have NEVER even read the Minor Prophets, much less studied them line by line. They are what Paul calls "babes", i.e. Baby Christians, which are "spiritually" what most of the Baby Boomers have remained. Here is Paul's incredulous admonition to the churchgoers of our land: Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.
Do you realize what this verse tells us? It says that EVERYTHING that is "going down" in this final generation is WRITTEN IN THE PROPHETS, revealed through them unto to those who love the Lord! That's right! There is Nothing that the Lord GOD is going to do that is LEFT OUT of the prophets! There should be many skillful teachers in this land of the free and home of brave teaching the words of Amos the herdman and his fellow prophets!  WHERE ARE THEY? Amos declares that in these last days there would be (and there is) a great "famine, not for bread or a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord (Amos 8:11-13)".

The religious leaders also do not know how to do right in the churches of this land and they do eat from the very same tree which our Father told Adam and Eve to stay away from and worse yet, they pass that wicked fruit along to His people, many of whom shall be seduced (spiritually) as was Eve (physically). Woe! The MANY prophets, i.e. Christian preachers, priests, etc., (though some mean well but are simply Biblically illiterate themselves) have deceived our brothers and sisters into believing the traditions of men.

Amos tells us how one acquires the Gospel Armor!  and it isn't by going to church and listening to preachers!  No, it's by seeking the LORD through His Word. "Preachers" and "Princes", you all better get your act together real fast.

Fellow Christian, What kind of faith do you have? Do you seek Him by going to church or do you diligently seek Him through His Word and hear His voice? Most of our peopleare not eating their fruit from the tree of life, His Word. That is why we are in such big trouble. The question is: "How wise are you in the final generation?" It is written in the Book of Daniel that the "wise" in this generation would understand the words of the prophets (Dan. 12:10). Do you? Do you know from which tree you get your fruit? Your Father says you are to get it from Him.

Now let's stop and consider that Amos' vision historically speaking was for the period two years before the great earthquake of Uzziah which we have shown from Zech. 14 is prophetic of that great earthquake two years "before the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee (Zech. 14:5)."Therefore this Book of Amos changes from prophecy to current events before the sound of the 6th trumpet when Satan is cast out of heaven.  How up to date are you on current events? Jesus said "Take Heed" as in stop, look, and listen, five times in Mark 13 concerning the events of these last days.

Do you know that it is recorded in the Book of Joel, which was quoted by Peter on that first Pentecost Day in Acts 2, that in the last days the young men would see "visions" which simply means they would "see" as in "understand" the "visions" of the prophets and they would teach them to their brothers and sisters. May God grant you the spiritual "eyes to see" and understand these visions of Amos?
What needs to be pointed out, however, is that Amos did not learn "eschatology" from a school for prophets nor obtain a degree from a Theological Seminary, nor did he have a big church building. This is very important because there has been much said in this Book of Amos concerning the churches, the Bethels, and it has not been favorable by any means. Remember we were warned in chapter 5 to "Seek not Bethel" but to "Seek the Lord God, and ye shall live". You seek Him through the Word of God.

Do you recall in Mat. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, when the disciples came to Jesus and asked Him what would be the signs in the last days just before He returns to destroy the temple in Jerusalem where the false messiah will be standing? His first warning to them was to watch out for deception from Christian preachers. "Take heed, let no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many (Matthew 24:5)." So according to the words of Jesus Christ, preachers are a big problem in our land. In fact Amos will lay charge to the idolatrous priests for the great harlotry of our people because they reject the true teachings of God's Word and His prophets and even go out of their way to prevent His servants from teaching the truth. To that end we are going to learn what you can expect from many of the leaders of the religious community.

Concerning Preachers; be sure to check out what they say in the Word of God to see if what they say is true! Not slightly twisting God's Word and His words to make it appear that God said something which He did not. Amos addresses the Reverend Uppity, PhD, ThM, BRE. (Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Theology, Bachelor of Religious Education). Yes, the Book of Amos is quite rough on the churches.

Finally, in 8th chapter of the Book of Amos, in the Old Testament of all places, we come to the verse that fully explains what the famine of the end time is which Christ talked about in Mat. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. We need also understand that this is no longer prophecy and that we are right now in the midst of that great famine. Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

You know, a loving person who SEES his or her own people dying from starvation would naturally give them food to eat if they had some, wouldn't they? Are you familiar with the parable in Matthew 25:31-46? God's people of the house of Israel are basically well fed and have plenty to drink in this country and yet while they gather food for the homeless and needy (a good work for sure), they themselves are starving and dying of thirst, NOT for bread or for water, but of HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD! Are you able to help any of them, to feed them bread and meat from His Word, or give them to drink from His well of Living Water, or even just show them where the plumbline is? Amos tells us how many Christians are wandering from one church to another today, and not finding the truth from the Word of God taught

It is just remarkable that Amos was shown by God thousands of years ago the curses (pestilences) of our day, which are those societal scourges, all the (fat cat) political and judicial injustices and the economic oppression through an usurious monetary system, using tipped balances, which is likened to the captivity (call it slavery) of the taskmasters of Egypt. And let us not forget to mention the corrupt leadership of the churches and the rejection of truth by the Amaziahs of Churchianity, for it precisely because of the famine of these last days that we as nation have incurred such pestilences. That's right, it is written that such curses, which again are the famines and pestilences, etc., of Mat. 24 and Mark 13, would come upon us as a RESULT of not studying and adhering to the Word of God, which is His Voice. "Well", you say, "if our Christian brothers and sisters are not listening to His Voice, then whose voice are they listening to?" Hey, you're starting to understand the sin of Samaria!!

If you have read God's Word with understanding and have learned from the prophet Amos what the famine of the end time really is,...
Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: ...then it is really easy to See how unfortunate (but true) it is that the majority of our people listen to many, many preachers and ministers, even great Amaziah's, who all come in the name of Christ and yet deceive their congregations by teaching the blinding traditions of men and not God's Word chapter by chapter and verse by verse. Christ warned us about them, didn't He? Also, if you understand the Word of God through His prophets, who all wrote about this final generation, it then becomes quite clear that Jesus Christ did not actually give us any new revelations in Mat. 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21! In fact, Jesus stated in Mark 13:23 that He had foretold us all things, even of "the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand)... (Mark 13:14)". Have you ever wondered what "let him that readeth understand" means? It means let him that reads the words of the Daniel (and the prophets) with understanding, know the full extent and the simplicity of what Christ was talking about, even the details of the spiritual desolation of the last days during the reign of Satan, the abominable one, the spurious messiah, who will stand in the holy place claiming to be God.

No, there is nothing new under the sun. The curses Amos saw in our day were "promised" long, long ago (as we reckon time) to come upon us IF we listened and hearkened to men's voices instead of the Voice of the LORD thy God. Here is what our Father said would happen if we were drawn away from His Word:

Deut. 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
The curses (pestilences) always follow "famine and thirst" which hopefully you have learned is for truth from His Word. He even promised back then to send a nation to afflict us and consume our productivity and oppress our people. And it has come to pass exactly as He said it would and Amos saw how bad things had become in our day. Therefore KNOW THIS and know it well. If you listen to preachers, teachers, pastors, politicians, popes, priests, elders or anybody else without CHECKING them out in God's Word, the probability that you are being fed and therefore eating bad fruit is humongous. Don't you know your very soul depends on it?Christians are so worried about suffering a little pain in the flesh that they listen to unscriptural, unfounded "fly away" stories, while they ignore His Word, which means they have FORSAKEN HIM and refused to listen to His Voice.

Do you want to be in that blessed Kingdom with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob and your loved ones who have passed on in the Lord? He has given you a choice. Now it is up to you.

Always remember these words of our Father through the herdman, Amos:

Amos 5:4
... Seek ye Me, and ye shall live:

[5] But seek not Bethel... i.e. church

[6] Seek the LORD, and ye shall live;

... lest He break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel. i. e. church

"To The Hebrews"

Who are the Hebrews Paul addresses this book titled "Hebrews" to.
by John Rhine

"Hebrews" comes from the word "eber" which is from the root word "abar" meaning "transition" or to "cross over". The "ebers", or "Hebrews", were the people, the descendants of Noah and Abraham, who "crossed over" the Euphrates river.

Hebrews are descendants Abraham (Abram) a son of Terah, a grandson of Eber, a grandson of Shem, Noah's son, who traveled southeast and crossed the river Euphrates to go into the land of Canaan. Therefore; all of Abraham's descendants technically are Hebrews with some percentage of perfection in their generations, but none of his ancestors are Hebrews since they were born before he crossed the Euphrates.

What does that tell us?

#1. Abraham's nephew Lot was a Hebrew because he crossed the River with Abram.
    a. Only two of Lot's daughters survived Sodom and Gomorrah and both gave birth to sons that Lot fathered; therefore, all the descendants of Lot's daughters are Hebrew to a lesser degree depending on who the sons married. But they can not be greater than 50% Hebrew.

#2. All descendants of Abraham's son Ishmael to Hagar, Sarai's (Sarah's) handmaid, are at best only 50% Hebrew because Hagar was Egyptian.
    a. This would include all descendants of Ishmael's 12 sons to some degree. But they can not be greater than 50% Hebrew.

#3. All descendants of Abraham's son Isaac to Sarai (Sarah), are Hebrews since Sarai was Abram's half sister from the other side of the river.

    a. This would include all descendants of Isaac's son Esau, (Edom/Russia). But they can not be greater than 50% Hebrew since Esau did take Hebrew women for wives.

    b. This would include all descendants of Isaac's son Jacob (Israel) He had 12 sons. If all were to take Hebrew wives this makes it possible for his descendants to be 100% Hebrew depending on who the sons married.

        1. Ten of these sons formed the House of Israel after escaping captivity in Egypt only to be carried away out of their own land to Assyria in 721 BC (II Kings :23).

History - In 721BC, well over eight hundred thousand Israelite men  2 Samuel 24:1 - 9 and their families from ten different tribes, all except the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, were taken captive and brought out of the promised land by the Assyrians. 2 Kings 16:9 - 17:6 They were all removed completely and never returned.

        2. Two of these sons formed the House of Judah after escaping captivity in Egypt only to be carried away by Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon 135 years later in 586 BC.

History - In 586BC, Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon carried more than one half million Israelite men 2 Samuel 24:1 - 9 and their families from the other two tribes, Benjamin and Judah (the Jews), away to Babylon. 2 Kings 25:1 - 21   These were the only remaining Israelites in the Promised Land.

They were taken away to Babylon from where a small percentage returned to Palestine to rebuild the temple and restore worship 70 years after Judah's captivity.

History - 70 years after Judah's captivity the temple was rebuilt and 42,360 (Nehemiah 7:66 - 67) from the tribes of Judah and Benjamin returned again "unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city". (Ezra 8:1 - 20 & Nehemiah 7:5 - 45) Note: The Nethinim listed (Nehemiah 7:46 - 65) were not Israelites or even of the tribe of Judah, but we incorectly include them as and call them Jews today.

Those returning were of the House of Judah and they returned "unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city" (Ezra 2:1). Only those of the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and Levi, who constituted the house of Judah, returned (Ezra 1:5). These Israelites, from the house of Judah, along with The Khazar civilization which adopted Judaism as their state religion in 740 AD make up the people we call Jews today.

Anyone who would like to be brought up to "modern times" concerning the Khazar conversion can do some research on the subject of Khazars. The Khazars were not Hebrews. Khazaria was a conglomerate of Turkish tribes. Here's a quote from one paragraph in the Encyclopedia Britannica:

"Khazar civilization shows a fairly complex texture and their religious life raises more than one problem... About 740 the Khazar ruler - and probably the greater part of the ruling classes - were converted to Judaism. The circumstances of the conversion remain obscure, the depth of the Jewish layer difficult to assess; the fact itself is, however, undisputed and unparalleled in the history of Eurasia. ... The story of this conversion of the Khazars had a considerable and lasting impact on the western world."

Editors Note: log unto Google and do a search on the word Khazar.   The Thirteenth Tribe

#4. All descendants of Abraham's from the wife he took after Sarah's death and his concubines. (Genesis 25:1-6)
        a. These were all non-Hebrew women.  Therefore their descendants can not be greater than 50% Hebrew.

The Book of Hebrews is not written to a specific person or church, but to a people, which includes those Israelites who had (and have) "crossed over" from where Paul was even to the west and the isles of the west (see note below), even to the time of the final generation. In other words, the Book of Hebrews is written to the dispersed House of Israel in these last days. That could be and probably is you, my Christian friend.

Note: The knowledge concerning the whereabouts of the so-called 10 lost tribes of the House of Israel is a prerequisite to being able to mature in one's understanding of the Word of God, even the Book of Hebrews which contains an entire chapter one could call the "Acts of the Patriarchs" (Ch. 11). To that end, if you are in need of or would like some basic information about the migrations of the tribes of Israel and where their sons and daughters reside in this final generation, log unto the pamphlets below.

Does it make sense to you that the United States of America, the greatest superpower in the history of the world, would be left out of endtime Biblical prophecy? Of course not! Log unto the pamphlets below to learn more about where the 10 "lost" tribes of the House of Israel reside today.  Pamphlet #1064 or Pamphlet #1020  You can also find them in the Table of Contents under  "Wisdom" on this American Wisdom Series web site.

So who are the Hebrews Paul addresses?
Must they be 100% pure in their generations?
I don't think so, but it makes sence to me that he is speaking to those who have crossed over.

Hum! "Crossed Over"
They crossed over the Jordan physically in Abrahams day. Did that physical ensample happen as a guide for our spiritual actions today?
1 Corinthians 10:11 makes me think so!
1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them {the ancient Israelites} for ensamples, and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Aren't we to be crossing over from darkness into light?
Read Acts 26:15-18

It should again be pointed out that this "scholarly" letter to the Hebrews, written to the dispersed tribes of Israel (Christian nations of today), presumes that one is schooled (disciplined) in the Old Testament. To wit, almost half of the entire first chapter of Hebrews is made up of direct quotes from the Old Testament, particularly and fitting to the subject as we shall see, taken from the Psalms.  One's familiarity of the scriptures will determine how much of these "sayings", call them mysteries if you like, Paul will be able to "utter", as in relate to you with those scriptures and ensamples of our forefathers. So if you find yourself just not quite "getting it" do not become discouraged or frustrated and become "dull", but rather keep asking and seeking Him through His Word and He promises to give you wisdom and understanding.

In the past God communicated with our fathers many times and in many ways by the prophets, but now, in these last days, He speaks to us through His Son whom He has appointed heir of all things and by whom also He made the "worlds" (Heb. 1:1-2).

James
James instruction book is specifically written to the Christian nations of the world; the 12 tribes scattered abroad who would recognize his voice and be awaiting the Lord's return.

We live in the most exciting time in the history of mankind!

We live in the time called the "last days", that time period which all the prophets wrote about, that time period just before the return of Jesus Christ which the disciples longed to know and understand concerning the events that would be taking place and what the conditions would be like.

So the disciples came to Jesus on the Mount of Olives and asked Him to explain the events and conditions of our time, and He did!

And among those things He told them was that there would be "great tribulation", even the greatest tribulation in all of history.

Are you ready for it?

Matthew 24:21
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Do you have trials and tribulations in your life now?

If so, how do you look upon those trials and tribulations?

Do you see yourself as a persecuted "woe is me" victim or are you a mature Christian and look upon them as "conditioning" exercises, as sort of a warm-up for that which lies just ahead?

Many are anxiously awaiting the return of Jesus Christ and unfortunately that is about all some are doing, anxiously awaiting.

But what about their faith?

What about their works?

Will they have the patience to "wait upon the LORD, and keep His way" (Ps. 37:34)?

Peter wrote that our Lord does not delay His coming, "but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

God was patient and longsuffering during the days of Noah for the very same reason, God's servants were preparing the ark for any who would be saved, but alas, only "eight souls* were saved by water".

*Note:There were only eight "adamic" souls saved in the flood, and although it is not commonly taught, it can easily be documented that all of the races were preserved through the flood of Noah.  Open and read our Genesis studies or log unto Genesis in the "Table of Contents" at the screen to your left.

1 Peter 3:20
Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
God's elect are preparing the ark of these last days in preparation for the flood of lies (Rev. 12:15) and deception which are about to engulf the entire world when Satan is cast from heaven (Rev. 12:7-9).

Will you be a faithful servant of God or will you eat and drink and be drunken as they were in the days of Noah before the flood?

Let's learn a parable from the Lord Jesus Christ and then study the Book of James, which was written to the 12 Tribes of Israel scattered abroad.

James 1:1
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
Note: James was not writing to the Jews as we know them today, not the little country currently living in the middle east which is made up of a few members of the tribe of Judah (those few who returned with Ezra in the 5th century BC) but mostly of kenites. If he meant his letter for them he could have hand carried it across town when he wrote it in 45 AD; after all he wrote it from Jerusalem! No, he was writing to the 12 tribes of Israelites who had been scattered abroad in 721 BC by the Assyrians (see 2 Kings 18:9-13) not to be confused with the Babylonian captivity which took place when King Nebbuchadnezze,r 140 years later, carried away those Israelites (mostly Judahiats and Benjaminiats) that remained in Judea. Only a remnant of Judahiats were left for Nebuchadnezzer to take to Babylon. (see 2 Kings 19:4) Yes, the same 12 tribes of Israelites who settled in the near east and throughout Europe and later America, i.e. Jesus' lost sheep who recognized his voice and became the Christian nations of the world!
In Luke chapter 12, Jesus had just told the disciples to be ready for the second advent, for it will happen "at an hour when you think not".

Let's pick up the conversation in Luke 12:41.

Luke 12:41
Then Peter said unto Him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
The answer in the next verse is that the parable is to the faithful and wise servants!

Hello!

[42] And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
The servant whom the Lord shall make ruler over His household is FAITHFUL and WISE, in other words he or she has both FAITH and WISDOM!

These are the very things James is going to talk to us about.

[43] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
That servant will be one Happy Dude (HD) at the sound of the 7th Trump!
[44] Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
Yes, and he or she "shall reign with him a thousand years" (Rev. 20:6).

Uh oh!

Here comes a word to the wise!

Hopefully it is sufficient!

Luke 12:45
But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
BUT and IF they run out of patience and do not "Wait on the LORD" and begin to "err" and go astray and eat and drink and become "spiritually" drunken as in the days of Noah, then they are in big trouble!
[46] The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
Now wake up Christian!

Jesus is not talking about the Biblically illiterate!

He is talking about His servants "which KNEW the Lord's will"!

Do you know His will?

Do you know the plan?

[47] And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
That servant who does not
1.) gain WISDOM, i.e. continue to prepare himself with the Gospel Armor, and
2.) does not exercise FAITH (which we will learn from James also means to have good works), shall get a whoppin' to beat all whoppin's!

Christ goes on to say that those who are Biblically illiterate, who don't know His will, will still get whopped, but it will not be near so severe as to those who know better.

[48] But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
You see, if you are one of God's servants and know His will then He expects you to be a doer and an overcomer and exercise faith.

We will learn in this Book of James, one of the earliest epistles and written by the brother of Jesus about 45 A.D., what true patience and faith is!

James instruction is specifically written to the 12 tribes scattered abroad who would be awaiting the coming of the Lord.

Let's see, Rev. 7 says there will be 144,000 servants, 12,000 from each of these 12 tribes, who are to be sealed before Christ's coming.

Am I saying that the Book of James is specifically written to the 144,000?

I guess the question is, "Who is it of the 12 tribes who is not blinded (Rom. 11) that can read it, understand it, and take heed?"

Certainly those multitudes which follow in Rev. 7, i.e. the elect out of all nations and races are able also to read with understanding and heed the Book of James.

These two verses from the 5th chapter pretty well sum it up for those who have eyes to see.

James 5:7
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

[8] Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

By the way, in his last chapter James will also mention (to the brethren waiting unto the coming of the Lord) the patience of Job, who was a type of God's elect, and Elijah's 3 1/2 years concerning the power over "the rain", just like the 1260 days of two witnesses who have power over the rain as it is written in Rev. 11:3-6.

Yes, I'd say this is a very timely book, wouldn't you?

Let's go for it!

Obadiah

It is written in both the Old and New Testaments that it SHALL come to pass in the last days that God will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh and the sons AND daughters, the "seed" of the final generation that Messiah said shall come and serve Him (Ps. 22:30) and declare His righteousness, will both "See" (understand) the "Visions" of the prophets and then they shall "Prophesy" (teach, i.e. teach the prophet's visions) to their brothers and sisters. Here is Peter on that first Pentecost Day following the resurrection of our Lord quoting from the Book of Joel:

Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Did you know that the apostle John in Rev. 5 witnessed along with the four and twenty elders as the Lamb of God unlocked and opened the 7 Seals for His servants of this final generation, enabling them to understand the "visions" that were sealed until the end (Dan. 12:9)? You will also find documented in Rev. 3:7 that it was the church of Philadelphia, the church of the brothers (aldelphos) and sisters (adelphe), who by default are also "sons and daughters" (right?), that the seals were "opened" to.
[18] And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Therefore, today we begin another study of one of those visions, the "vision" of the prophet Obadiah whose name means (are you ready for this?) "Servant of Yah" or "Servant of Yahveh". Are you an Obadiah, one of His servants?
Obadiah 1:1
The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.
Obadiah's vision concerns Edom which means "red" in Hebrew and refers to the land where Esau, Jacob's elder brother, dwells.
íãÊàÁ íBãàÁ Strong's # 123

eõdoòm eõdoòm   ed-ome', ed-ome'

From H122; red (see Genesis 25:25); Edom, the elder twin-brother of Jacob; hence the region (Idumaea) occupied by him:—Edom, Edomites, Idumea.

We studied in the Book of Amos about a vision concerning Jacob and his descendents in these last days (i.e. America*, Great Britain, etc.) and now Obadiah's vision concerns his brother Esau, the patriarch of the princes and the peoples who later become known as Russians.

* Note: If you are not familiar with the migrations of the 10 tribes of the House of Israel and where they are today, i.e. the children of the House of Israel, the so-called lost 10 tribes! If this is new to you, then get a copy of the booklet "The Abrahamic Covenant", by E. Raymond Capt. You will find it at www.artisanpublishers.com      Or log unto pamphlets #1020 and #1064 here on our web site.

You see, one cannot understand the "visions" of the prophets unless and until he or she knows who the people of the nations are today. The House of Israel and the House of Judah became separate houses long, long ago and yet today most Christians do not know the difference between an Hebrew, an Israelite, and a Jew. They think that the little nation in the Middle East is Israel when in fact it is so easy to document that it is NOT the House of Israel but is rather that of Judah, and then only in part!

Obadiah is the shortest book in the Old Testament and in fact only the first sixteen verses have to do with the destruction of Edom for the last few verses (17-21) concern the restoration of Israel. For that reason it is necessary that we understand from the beginning that which was prophesied concerning Esau in order to lay the foundation for understanding what would befall him in these last days and more importantly WHY it would happen so! Let us begin with a few verses from the Book of Romans in the New Testament which is taken in part from Genesis chapter 25 concerning Jacob and Esau:

Romans 9:10
And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;

[11] (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

The two lads, Jacob and Esau, were still in Rebecca's womb so obviously they had not yet done anything either good or evil, in this flesh age that is. But you see, God knew them both very well before He ever placed them in Rebecca's womb for He created all His children before the earth was ever formed. For it is written that when He did build this beautiful jewel called earth for His children, they sang and they shouted for joy (Job 38:6-7). So when we read for instance that God said to Jeremiah that had He predestined Him to be a prophet to the nations before He even placed him in his mother's womb, now you know why. Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."

Paul also documents in Ephesians 1:4-5 that God's elect were chosen before the foundation of this world (cosmos) and predestined according to the good pleasure of His will, which means according to His plan.

Ephes. 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

[5] Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

[6] To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Some have a purpose and a destiny in these last days, chosen before the foundation of the world, to carry forth the work of His plan.

Now notice the next PROPHETIC verse in Romans 9 which is a direct quote from Gen. 2523:

Romans 9:12
It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
It was written and declared that Esau, the elder brother, would serve the younger. Therefore, and this is important, any attempt by Esau to gain advantage and to rule over Jacob would be doomed to failure, would it not?
[13] As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
The reason our Father had less love or regard for Esau than Jacob was because Esau in "the world that then was (2 Pet. 3:6)" despised his heritage, which means that he had no regard nor respect for that which His Father had given to him and therefore he had little respect for His Father, Almighty God. This was confirmed when in this earth age he actually sold his birthright for a mere bowl of "red" pottage. He would later become known as the "red nation" showing the whole world what travesties and oppressions can be brought upon a people when an attempt to cast out God is made and the unholy systems of socialism and communism and atheism are placed as a yoke of bondage upon them. I speak of the 70 year yoke of bondage placed upon Esau beginning with the Bolshevik Revolution and the murder of Tsar Nicholas and his wife Alexandria. That bondage lasted until the collapse of the USSR (the Iron Curtain) and the fall of the Berlin Wall. You see, we also have the advantage of "seeing these things come to pass" in this final generation which gives us an even clearer understanding of the visions of the prophets.

The other important thing we need to know is that both Jacob and Esau would become great nations, i.e. superpowers, even at the time of the end, and that they would be two "manner" of people who would continue that "cold" struggle against one another, though the false unstable peace of "iron mixed with miry clay" would lead those unfamiliar with God's Word to believe otherwise. Stay alert and be watchful!

Genesis 25:22
And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire of the LORD.

[23] And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

Again, these two nations would both be superpowers in the end time and Esau (Russia) would struggle against his brother Jacob (US, GB, &c) and attempt to rule over him. We shall discover in verse ten of Obadiah that it is because of Esau's violence against his brother Jacob that Edom shall be cut off forever. In other words there shall soon never, ever, exist another nation where red communism will be allowed to rule over people. This prophecy of Obadiah is therefore not against the individual people of Russia who even though Edom shall be destroyed, they can become children of the kingdom of God through the salvation of our Lord.

It should also be established as background for our study of Obadiah that it is written in the 38th and 39th chapters of the Book of Ezekiel that the final great confederacy (army) that assembles itself to come against the "unwalled cities" of this nation from the north (to do violence against) will be headed by the chief prince Meshach, that "chief" being "Rosh" in Hebrew or in other words the leader of Russia. It is further written that it will be God Himself who shall "smite the bow out of his left hand" and destroy that army (Ezek. 39:3).

Now we will learn what the "report from the LORD" has to say regarding the land of Edom and "see" what it was that Obadiah, the servant of Yahveh, saw.

Study of Obadiah

The Book of Obadiah is the vision concerning Esau (Russia), the brother of Jacob (America +), who would become a superpower in the last days and play a major role in end time prophecy. However, before we begin this study let us understand from the very words of Jesus Christ how it is that we are to understand many of the "visions" of the prophets in these last days. You may be surprised to discover how very simple it is.

First, understand that He has foretold us ALL THINGS that shall happen in and unto this final generation. Therefore, if someone comes to you with a "vision from God" it had better be documented from His Word. Otherwise, spell his "god" with a small "g"!

Mark 13:23
But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
What does Christ mean we are to TAKE HEED? "Take heed" is translated from the Greek word "blepo" which means to "look around", to "perceive", to "take notice", or as we might say in our English figure of speech, "Put two and two together".What Christ is telling us is that we have His Word and He has told us in that Word ALL of the things that shall come to pass. Therefore, we are not to labor trying to figure out how "things" are going to "come down" but to WATCH and know when these prophecies have COME TO PASS! THEN as you check them off the list as "fulfilled" you will know how far along we are in the season toward the harvest and therefore how close we are to the return of Christ and our gathering back to Him.
Mark 13:29
So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
The reason we are to "Take Heed" and watch for the prophecies to be fulfilled is because in understanding the Parable of the Fig Tree, which we are commanded to learn in Mat. 24:32 and Mark 13:28, we have come to learn from HISTORY, i.e. from "seeing it come to pass", that the final generation began on May 15, 1948, when both the good and the bad figs were set out in Jerusalem (Jer. 24), i.e. when the UN gave sanction to the State of Israel. That means that there will be Baby Boomers who SHALL see ALL THESE THINGS come to pass! See FigTree

So Take Heed and Watch for them to happen.
Actually, many already HAVE as you will "See" in this study!

Mark 13:30
Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
So get with the program and learn to overlay modern history and current events with prophecy until BINGO (say BLEPO), there it is! live Live link to- Obadiah.

Malachi
That's right! All it took was 30 short years and things had fallen back in the "pits"!

The Book of Malachi is the last book of the 12 Minor Prophets, which are called minor only because they are shorter in length than the other longer (major) prophetic books like Isaiah and Jeremiah.

Malachi is also chronologically the last book in the Old Testament just as Revelation is chronologically the last book in the New Testament.

To that end, we find a great similarity between the two in that they both begin with "messages" from the LORD to the House of Israel and to the seven churches respectively.

As with all of the Books in the Minor Prophets, much can be learned in the opening few verses concerning the overall purpose and what it is our Father would have us know from the book.

Here is the first verse of Malachi:

Malachi 1:1
The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.
The word "burden" means a "warning" as in a "divine oracle" that Judgment is soon coming to the House of Israel.

This burden, or warning, is not the word of Malachi but rather the word of the LORD to Israel, but spoken through Malachi, whose name appropriately means "My Messenger".

You see, that is how it works!

His Word from on high, from heaven, is spoken through His servants, His messengers, often translated angels.

Here is Strong's definition of "Malak" which is the base of "Malaki":

malak = CSìÀîÇmalaòkmal-awk' H4397
From an unused root meaning to despatch as a deputy; a messenger; specifically of God, that is, an angel (also a prophet, priest or teacher):— ambassador, angel, king, messenger.
For the purpose of comparison and as background for today's introduction to Malachi, here is the Greek definition of "angel", which means "messenger".
angel = Tããåëïòaggelosang'-el-os G32
From PããÝëëùaggelloô (probably derived from G71; compare G34; to bring tidings); a messenger; especially an "angel"; by implication a pastor:— angel, messenger.
We are going to learn a great deal in this Book of Malachi about what a true "messenger of the LORD" is to do.

Here's a quick preview:

Malachi 2:7
For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
Priests are to be His messengers and they are to answer FOR HIM, i.e. give answers directly from His Word which why they need to study it and gain His knowledge.

Unfortunately, we shall also learn much and read much about those who claim to be His messengers but have gone astray and led their entire congregations astray because they do not study His Word but rather teach corruption through the idolatrous traditions of men.

Malachi 2:8
But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.
You see, when Malachi was written, which was just 30 years after the temple had been rebuilt and the worship and sacrifices had been fully restored, the influences of Ezra and Nehemiah were no longer present and the spiritual condition of the land, I call it the "state of the union", deteriorated into a state of great apostasy, for the priesthood at this time was corrupt and vile having departed out of His way.

That's right!

All it took was 30 short years and things had fallen back in the "pits"!

This great Book of Malachi describes the idolatrous condition of the nation at that time, which would have been about 374 BC, or 400 years (a time of probation) before the coming of Messiah at His first advent.

In fact, when Christ came at His first advent He told His disciples that the scribes and Pharisees (the kenites) sat in the seat of Moses, meaning they sat in authority in the temple.

If you recall from the 8th chapter of Ezra when they came forth to rebuild the temple, Ezra stopped and took count and discovered that there was not even one Levitical Priest, a true priest of God, to perform the duties in the temple.

So he sent some "Nethinims", temple servants, back to Babylon to get some.

The point is that all the priests "stayed back in Babylon", just as they do spiritually today.

In other words, the priests today do not come out of Babylon, which means "the lon (land) of confusion", the state of spiritual confusion and idolatry!

And yes, many do not like to hear it said, but they teach the religion of Babylon which has infested and corrupted Christianity and become tradition in most of the churches of our land. So they roll "Ishtar's" fertility eggs and put forth her quick-like-a-bunny rabbits and call it cute and they go and face the sun as it rises (Ezk. 8:16).

Do you know anything about Easter?

The word is not even in ANY of the manuscripts of the New Testament!

You need to check it out because the idolatry and the false sacrifice of Christianity only starts there and goes downhill from there.

In Isaiah chapters 14 & 28 we learn how all the professing Christians who really don't know the Lord, not having studied His Word to show themselves approved, will therefore worship Satan when he arrives here on earth claiming to be Jesus returned, but will ultimately be saved at the second resurrection.

In chapter 14 we shall learn a proverb against the king of Babylon, i.e. Satan, and "see" on into the future time of the Millennium, after the seventh trump sounds, at Christ's return, when "the world is at rest, and is quiet (Isa. 14:7)" and see what shall become of that wicked one. Isaiah 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;[17] That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners. and the fate, during the Millennium, of all those professing Christians and the non-Christians who worship "the false-christ" after the sixth trump sounds, when he, Satan, comes to earth claiming to be "The Christ", and their possible redemption or condemnation at the "Great White Throne of Judgment" after the Millennium. Isaiah 14:32  What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? [32... cont.] That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of His people shall trust in it.

Chapter 22 #6422

The 23rd chapter of Isaiah concerns the oracle or revelation of Tyre.

Chapter 23 #6423

Isaiah 24 & 25 are precious indeed in that they speak both of The Lord's Judgment and His Mercy.

Chapter 24 #6424
Chapter 25 #6425

This remarkable 26th chapter of Isaiah will give us not only an outline of how our Father's wondrous plan shall unfold in these last days, but it will also give us an in-depth view of the purpose behind His chastisement and vengeance upon the ungodly!

Chapter 26 #6426

In chapter 27 we are going to be given insight into our Father's marvelous plan of salvation, even additional insight into the great purpose He has for bringing chastisement upon His people.

Chapter 27 #6427

Chapter 28 begins a series or cycle of six "woes" that continues through to chapter 35 and verse 10.
These woes not only correspond to the "burdens" or oracles we studied previously in Isaiah but they are presented to us in a structured alternation and contrasted with Yahveh's glories (see page 964 in the Companion Bible, Kregel Publications). The beauty in the Holy Spirit teaching us in this alternating fashion is that it enables us to more clearly "see" the remarkable differences between man's vain and futile ways that ultimately lead to destruction and death and our Father's perfect and righteous ways that bring peace and happiness and lead to eternal rest.
In chapter 28 we learn that multitudes of Christians who do not have faith based upon the foundation of God's Word are surely going to make a "covenant with Death" and "an agreement with Hell". In fact, the majority of our people have been so drawn away from their Father's Word, the foundation of truth, by soothsaying preachers who teach the traditions of men instead of His Word, that they cannot tell the difference between that which is profane (the false Christ) and that which is holy (the true Christ).

Chapter 28 #6428

In chapter 28 we learned that multitudes of Christians who do not have faith based upon the foundation of God's Word are surely going to make a "covenant with Death" and "an agreement with Hell". In fact, the majority of our people have been so drawn away from their Father's Word, the foundation of truth, by soothsaying preachers who teach the traditions of men instead of His Word, that they cannot tell the difference between that which is profane (the false-christ) and that which is holy (the true Christ). The end result of listening to men instead of hearing His Voice from His Word is that our people shall become sorely deceived by the overflowing flood of lies and deceit spewed forth by the false messiah whose name is Death and who Hell (the grave) follows after (Rev. 6:8). However, the good news is that when Jesus Christ, the true Bridegroom, returns at the sound of the 7th Trump, our people will suddenly be wakened and come to realize the shamefulness of their spiritual adultery. In that day they will come to know that their (marriage) covenant was with Death, the false messiah, instead of with Jesus Christ and they will turn their hearts back to the Lord their God. Unfortunately they will have missed out on the blessings of the first resurrection and will have to wait until the end of the Millennium to receive eternal life.
Let's review,  Isaiah 28:18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

In chapter 29 we find the second of the six woes we discussed at the beginning of chapter 28 and this one is directed to Ariel, the city where David dwelt, or as the Septuagint has it, "the city which David besieged". Of course this is referring to Jerusalem, the "altar-hearth of God*", the city that our Father took to wife in Ezekiel 16 and determined to be His eternal dwelling place, the headquarters of the universe for all eternity (Rev. 21:2). Is there any wonder therefore that this city has been the scene of more wars and bloodshed than any other city in the history of mankind? Remember we read back in Isaiah 14:13 that Satan wants to exalt his throne and sit upon Mount Zion and be worshipped as God. Isaiah 14:13 "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north."
The hour is late and it is time to quit playing church and stop listening to men's traditions and open your eyes to the "visions" of the prophets through whom Jesus Christ has foretold us all things (Mark 13:23).

Chapter 29 #6429

It seems today that many of our people, including many of our leaders, would rather put their trust in the cunning devices and fortresses of man and his New World Order rather than trust in and seek wise counsel from the LORD through His Word. Well, our Father has something to say about that in this 30th chapter of the great book of Isaiah, whose name remember means "Yahveh's Salvation".
"Will you be one who waits for the LORD" and thus be one who is "blessed" or will you follow after the false messiah and the things of this world and wind up spiritually dead as one who is slain by the spiritual sword of the Assyrian? In fact you could ask yourself right now, "How are you doing? Are you a lively tree or a piece of deadwood? Do you produce fruit or are you a spiritual burden to others?"

Chapter 30     #6430

In chapter 31 we come to the 4th of the 6 "woes" that began back in chapter 28 and shall continue through to chapter 35 verse 10. This particular "woe" is direct to the point concerning the apostasy, the great falling away of our people in these last days as they continue to "go down", to slouch towards Gomorrah, to forsake His Word and put their trust in the things of this world and the worldly powers, even the New World Order, to bring about peace and to secure their physical and financial future well-being. How futile indeed are the ways of man for apart from God, without acknowledging the true Prince of Peace, there can and will be no peace. It seems our people will have to learn this lesson the hard way, which is by way of chastisement, but learn it they will for it is our Father's plan of love!
The subject of chapter 31 is "apostasy", both individual and national. And though it is written that the majority of our people are going to revolt (carah, apostatize) and therefore stumble and fall before the false messiah, you need not be among them IF you are willing to "Turn unto Him".

Chapter 31 #6431

The Millennial reign of the righteous King and His dominion is the subject of this 32nd chapter in the book of Isaiah. Isaiah 32:9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech. This is addressed to the woman, even to the daughters of Jerusalem (Luke 23:28-31), i.e. to the true House of Israel who has become as prosperous as a "fat cat" and believes herself to be secure in her salvation and in need of nothing (spiritually speaking, see Rev. 3:17)). In other words, this is addressed to America, and to Great Britain, and to Canada, and to the rest of their sister Christian nations.

There shall be a great awaking (a rude awaking for many) when Christ returns and the veil of this flesh age is parted asunder. Again, there shall be no holding back or dimming (diminishing) of the teaching of truth by God's elect, those with eyes to see. The Word of God shall go forth and all ears shall plainly hear and adhere to the Word of God... for as we already read, His laws and statutes will be enforced with a "rod of iron", meaning with discipline. And not only will all eyes be opened to His truth, but as it is written in Isa. 14:15-16 and in Revelation 20:2, Satan shall be bound and cast into the pit during the thousand years we call the Millennium. Thus there shall be "no darkness" for his evil spirit and influence will not go forth during that time... until the thousand years are ended at which time he shall be released for a short season of testing to see if any shall still swallow his liberal garbage, i.e. eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. At that time, any who do eat from that burned out tree, i.e. who follow after Satan, shall surely DIE... only this death will not be a fleshly shadow (type) of death, which is given once unto all men (Heb. 9:27), but rather the REAL THING, the second death, the death and perishing of the soul in the lake of fire (Rev. 21:8)!

Chapter 32 #6432

These who "wait upon the Lord" and are found praying this prayer are those wise virgins, even those who are "left behind" laboring in the field in Matthew 24! They are the ones who remain spiritual virgins and are not "carried away" with the "other Jesus" that is taught by the traditions of men.

Our Father has forewarned us numerous times not to enter into covenants and treaties with heathen nations nor to trust and rely on them for our peace and security. Keep that in mind as we now begin the 5th of the 6 woes that started back in chapter 28.

Chapter 33 #6433

In chapter 34 the judgment of the gentile nations of the world, at the return of Jesus Christ is addressed.

Chapter 34 #6434

In chapter 35 the kingdom blessings of the gentile nations of the world are addressed. All of us, Israelite and gentile are now born back into the spirit.

Chapter 35 #6435

Some say chapters 36-39 are an historical parenthesis; just to re-describe events which happened in 701 B.C. when Assyria tried to conquer Judah; Sennacherib's invasions and Hezekiah's illness. I believe chapters 36 through 39, and even unto chapter 65:17 are Isaiah's prophecy of a review of historical happenings to be taught to the dead by the Christ and His elect during the Millennial kingdom as a reminder of what happens when you trust in man to solve your problems in comparison to what happens when you put your trust in the Lord. And since all these things will then have already come to pass, these history lessons will have great value and effect for the teaching of "truth".

Chapter 39 #6439

Isaiah 40: to 56:8 looks at Israel in exile and promises deliverance through Cyrus. Mingled with the promise of deliverance is constantly increasing recognition of the fact that exile is only the necessary result of Israel's sin. Therefore, unless this problem is satisfactorily dealt with, other captivities will inevitably follow. God promises He will send His Servant to take away sin and to bring light to all the world. The full view of the redemptive sufferings of Christ leads to the evangelical strain so prominent in this part of Isaiah. Isaiah also predicts Israel's return in the end time.

Longevity will be restored, but death, the "last enemy" will not be destroyed until after Satan's death sentence, along with the deaths of those who still choose to follow him when he is released from the pit for a short while at the end of the thousand years.

Chapter 65 #6465

I believe in chapter 66 Isaiah is prophesying a final message for the overcomers; the dead, who have now been granted eternal life in the "second resurrection", after the "great white throne of judgment".
