The Book of Isaiah
Chapter 24

Our Father's Plan of Salvation is truly wondrous and marvelous indeed. You "see", that which is happening all around us and in the world today is actually part of that wondrous plan which is designed to bring His children back to Him, because for that to be accomplished, there must be both a positive and negative part to the plan... otherwise there would be no reference from which to learn or to make a choice.

It has often been said that one cannot truly appreciate the warm glowing sunshine unless he or she has weathered a dark and terrible storm. And when you think about it, one cannot be victorious in war unless a battle has taken place, nor can one overcome an obstacle unless there is an obstacle in the path to overcome! Neither can a person exercise good character unless there is a temptation against which to exercise it.

The point is that our Father's plan, His wondrous works in these last days, has a "negative part" in that it consummates just before the dawn of a new day when Jesus Christ returns, with a dark and terrible spiritual storm, a massive worldwide flood of lies and deceit spewed forth by the great red dragon, Satan himself, and all but a few will spiritually survive that storm. That is why Christ said in Matthew 24:20 concerning the abomination of desolation, "Pray that your flight be not in winter", which means pray that you are not deceived, as in harvested out of season to the false messiah! In other words, pray that you are not caught up in that deceitful spiritual storm (cheimon, khi-mone', Greek 5494; from a derivative of cheo (to pour; akin to the base of Greek 5490 (chasma) through the idea of a channel), meaning a storm (as pouring rain); by implication the rainy season, i.e. winter :- tempest, foul weather, winter.)

Nevertheless, when Yahshua Messiah returns, our Father will put an end to this flesh age and to all the wickedness upon the earth, and He shall execute righteous judgment upon all nations and peoples, which means everyone shall receive just recompense according to his or her deeds. But again, the reason for all of this is that our Father is loving and merciful and it is His desire that none of His children be given the same sentence as the son of perdition, i.e. to perish in the lake of fire, but that all should come to repentance and return unto Him. 2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

To that end, these next two chapters in Isaiah (24 & 25) are precious indeed in that they speak both of His Judgment and His Mercy. So let's go with it.

Isaiah 24:1
Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.

We have already studied in this great book titled "Yahveh's Salvation", about the coming of the desolator, the one who the Assyrian was but an historical type. That one to come is Satan, the abomination of desolation, that spiritual desolator spoken of by Daniel the prophet, who shall come stand in the holy place spreading his abominations worldwide including the abominable lie that he is God. And as it is written, except for the remnant, those few good men (and women, no gender intended) in verse 6 of this chapter, who are those sons and daughters who have the seal of God etched in the forefront of their minds (Rev. 9:4), the whole world will be deceived by the miracles and lying wonders of the false messiah (Rev. 12:9).

Then, once Satan's five month reign (Rev. 9:4) is over, the 7th Trump shall sound and there will be a great earthquake, an enormous worldwide shakeup as the feet of Yahshua Messiah splits the Mount of Olives (Zech. 14:4) and the LORD turns this earth upside down... as we just read in verse 1. It is written and so shall it be, so do not be ignorant like most of God's foolish children and think for one instant that it shall not surely come to pass... because like Peter explains to us, God overthrew the world once before and He shall do it again.

2 Peter 3:5-7
For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

The good news is however, that our Father postponed judgment for the rest of His children who had been seduced and drawn away and implemented His truly wondrous, marvelous, and merciful, plan of salvation. He therefore destroyed the first earth age and reformatted the globe and decreed that all His children come down from above and be born "innocence" of woman... innocent meaning they would have no firsthand knowledge of that first earth age. Thus it is written that it is given unto all men once to die, to die the first death, the death of the flesh, and then after that... the judgment, the "Valley of Jehoshaphat" (Yahveh Judges, Joel 3:12)! Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."

And so it is that we all must come down from above and walk through the valley of the shadow of death before returning to the Father. Understand that a shadow is just a similitude, a likeness of something. In other words it is not that something but rather a type of that which it shadows. For example, when you look down at your shadow, you know that shadow is not you! In that same sense, the death of the flesh is but a type of the real thing, the real death, which is the death of the soul, also called "the second death (Rev. 20:6, 14, 21:8)"! THAT SECOND DEATH is not a shadow but rather the real thing, and that death is permanent, finis, perish, gone forever and ever, out of sight, out of mind! That is why Christ said in Matthew 10:28 concerning the flesh: "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear (revere) Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

The beauty of experiencing the "shadow death" is that during the Millennium when God's Word goes forth declaring that Satan, that old subtle man-knows-best "tree of the knowledge of good and evil", shall be released for a short season at the end of the 1000 years (Rev. 20:3), and those same words of God spoken in Genesis 2:17 are taught, "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die", people will have a real working knowledge of what that means.

Yes, the end result of what happened in the garden of Eden, and why the understanding of what happened there is so important as foundational knowledge, is that eating from that tree of the knowledge of good and evil instead from the tree that gives life, i.e. the Word of God, is sure death. But before death, the wandering away from God's Word results in a "take over" by the Assyrian, which brings captivity, bondage, and oppression... culminating in these last days, through the technological ability to spread abominations worldwide, in global captivity and bondage and oppression, which is the New World Order. And if you are able to "open your eyes" and take a look around, you will discover that the captivity and bondage is already upon us and the Beast of Rev. 13:1, the one world political/economic system that has risen up out of the sea (of people) is now tightening its strong-as-a-bear grip as it continues to spin-cast its ensnaring worldwide web.

The point is, that since there is nothing new under the sun (in this flesh age), in that the world governmental structure of Rev. 13:1 at the end of this flesh age is basically the same as Satan had at the end of the first earth age in Rev. 12:3, the end result will also be the same. Our Father is going to destroy Babylon the great and wipe the slate clean once more! Here is what happened to that first earth age:

[6] Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

Jeremiah 4:21-26
How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?

[22]For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

[23] I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

You "see", God did NOT create the world "tohu va bohu"! It is written that He created this earth as a beautiful place to be inhabited by His children, not void and without form. He so states that fact in Isaiah 45:18 "For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

[24] I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

[25] I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

[26] I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

Here is one more verse from 2 Pet. 3.

[7] But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Isaiah 24:2
And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.

Hebrews 10:30
For we know Him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Matthew 16:26-27
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

[27] For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then He shall reward every man according to his works.

This is further brought out in the great book of Joel concerning the Valley of Jehoshaphat (YHVH Judges). Here is Joel 3:1-8 concerning the coming judgment of the nations.

"Joel is now going to expound upon this gathering of all nations which follows the witness of those saints who are delivered up and give His testimony. And it is written time after time after time in the scriptures, then "they shall know the LORD is God (Jo-El)". And when that King of kings returns with His saints who shall execute His rod of iron (discipline) then shall all the nations be recompensed for their decisions. That's right, it's pay day and everyone will get exactly what is coming to them in the righteous judgment of the Lord "according to their deeds". It is called true justice for God is no respecter of persons nor does He judge by appearance (Jn. 7:24) but by righteous judgment, a liberal's nightmare indeed! You reap what you sow, remember?

Jeremiah 25:14
For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.

Romans 2:6
Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

Let's begin Joel's description of the judgment of the nations.

Joel 3:1
For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

The Hebrew word translated captive is "shebuwth" which means figuratively "a former state of prosperity". In other words, Judah and Israel shall be restored to glory and prosperity and joined back together into one stick when the true Messiah returns (Ezek. 37:15-17). We read of that gathering back to Him in the Book of Hosea, the book of the salvation of Israel.

[2] I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

The valley of Jehoshaphat is both the "valley of decision" (vs. 14) and the "valley of Judgment" (Jehoshaphat means "YHVH judges"). Remember, and make no mistake about it, i.e. be not deceived into thinking anyone gets away with mocking God or His children, God will recompense to every nation and to every man according to his deeds:

Galatians 6:7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Pay day is coming. You can count on it! And what have the nations of the world done?

Joel 3:3
And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.

They have trafficked and made merchandise of the children of God. In other words they have sold His sons and daughters "down the drain", right into the slavery of the harlot, the great whore, the one world political and religious system with whom the nations of the earth have committed fornication (harlotry) and become drunken with her wine:

Rev. 17:1
And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

[2] With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

This is further documented by the next verse in Joel which identifies the wicked nation of Hemath (remember them from our first study in Joel?):

Joel 3:4
Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;

You may recall if you have studied Ezekiel 27 that the "little rock" island of Tyre, along with her plundering sister Zidon (Sidon) on the seacoast, was the World Wide Trading Center of the ancient world, a type and forerunner of the New World Order (NWO), which was headed and controlled by the kenites, even as the NWO is today. And in Ezekiel 28 we learned that the king of Tyre (Tyre means "rock" in Hebrew) is none other than the little rock who is not our Rock, i.e. Satan himself.

The question is: "Do they think they can render a recompense to God, i.e. buy Him off with that which they have stolen and with that which already rightfully belongs to Him?" Give me a physical break!

[5] Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:

They, the kenites, have ripped off His people through their deceptive political practices and their usurious, unholy economic central banking systems.

[6] The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.

In other words, they sold the children unto the Javanites who "trafficked in slavery" and who carried them to distant lands! Pay close attention to this verse because it holds the "according to their deeds" key to the judgment of the sons and daughters of Tyre and Zidon, i.e. the kenites. But also know that neither distance nor oceans afar off can prevent the Lord God from gathering His people. And those traffickers of His people are gonna get what's coming to them!

[7] Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:

God will do the redeeming and restoring of His people and those traffickers and merchandisers of His people shall get their gourds thumped for their evil deeds and get a taste of their own medicine, as we say. You want to see precious righteous judgment in the manner of "according to their deeds"? Here it is:

Joel 3:8
And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Oh this is precious justice if you can understand what Joel has said. You see, as it is written the children of Kingdom will now be given the crowns of the earth [ref. Isa. 24:2, the people shall be as priests and servants as lords] will be in charge under the command of the King of kings. We could read of this many places but let's read it in Rev. 5:

Rev. 5:9
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

[10] And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Well, the sons and daughters of Tyre and Zidon, the kenites, who not only made captives and slaves of God's people but have even more oppressively enslaved the gentiles, the ethnic peoples whom we call minorities in our land, through their divisive class envy agendas and socialist entitlement programs that strip them of their spirit and dignity as a proud people. Joel 3:8 declares that the sons and daughters of Tyre and Zidon are going to be "sold to the Sabeans" and become the "slavees" instead of the "slaveers or slave masters"! Got it? Now let's learn who the Sabeans are.

Sabeans = éàÄá˜LÔsh^ebaòŒòy sheb-aw-ee'
Patronymic from H7614; a Shebaite or descendant of Sheba:—Sabean.

Sheba = àá˜LÔsh^ebaòsheb-aw'
Of foreign origin; Sheba, the name of three early progenitors of tribes and of an Ethiopian district:—Sheba, Sabeans.

The Sabeans were "a people a far off" even from "a far off nation of Africa".

Now let's return to Isaiah 24.

Isaiah 24:3
The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.

2 Peter 3:10-13
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

[11] Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

[12] Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

[13] Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

* Note: The word "elements" means the "principles" or "rudiments". In other words, the evil and wicked godless principles that built up the New World Order are going to be consumed by the "comsuming fire", i.e. our Father!

elements, stoicheion, stoy-khi'-on, Greek 4747; neuter of a presumed derivative of the base of Greek 4748 (stoicheo); something orderly in arrangement, i.e. (by implication) a serial (basal, fundamental, initial) constituent (literal), proposition (figurative) :- element, principle, rudiment.

[4] The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

[5] The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

Deut. 32:15
But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

Choice (1) = BLESSINGS

Deut. 28:1-2
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

[2] And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

Choice (2) = CURSES

Deut. 28:15
But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know your word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and inverted our values. We confess that:

"We have ridiculed the absolute truth of your word and called it pluralism.

"We have worshiped other gods and called it multiculturalism.

"We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle.

"We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

"We have neglected the needy and called it self-preservation.

"We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.

"We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

"We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

"We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.

"We have abused power and called it political savvy.

"We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.

"We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.

"And we have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

"Search us, O God, and know our hearts today; try us and see if there be some wicked way in us; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.

"In the name of your son, the living Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."

Isaiah 24:6
Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Hey, the "consuming fire" is coming dear ones to end the wickedness! BUT FIRST, the CURSE shall come upon the earth and devour it! I know we have taken considerable time so far on just a few verses of Isaiah 24, but in as much as we are nearing that time when the abomination of desolation, the curse himself, shall come stand in the holy place, it is important that we not only know the details of the plan of "YHVH's salvation" (Isaiah) concerning His judgment, but also the purpose and love (His mercy) behind His wondrous works! That's what we are reading about here in chapters 24 and 25. Therefore to help us understand more clearly, let us close this study with a few excerpts from the last book in the Old Testament, the book that is written to "My Messengers", the great book of Malachi.

"Therefore know this, the coming of the God of Judgment is nigh at hand, even at the doors (Mark 13:29). In other words, make no mistake about it and do not listen to the false teachers and those who scoff at His Word because the "Day of the LORD" IS COMING! Is that a frightful thing? Not at all if you are one who loves and serves the LORD, but for those who work "iniquity", which is "lawlessness", which means they work (speak and do) those traditions of men which are contrary to His Word (and therefore outside His law) it shall not be a happy day at all! Why not? Because His "Fire" shall burn them as stubble (Mal. 4:1) while at the same time those that love Him (vs. 2) shall feel the warmth of that same "Fire" like as the rays of the Sun, even the Sun of righteousness, beaming down upon them surrounding them with warmth!

Malachi 4:1
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Again, remember that this message is given unto Israel so let us understand what this word "wickedly" means in Hebrew. It is the word "rishah" which is the same word used in Mal. 3:15 when referring to the "wickedness" of the "lawless ones" who are "set up" in the high places of worship. In other words, ALL their evilness and wicked deeds shall be consumed as in "burned up" when Jesus Christ returns and they shall be left with neither "root nor branch" and they shall be naked and utterly ashamed!

"The day [which] cometh" spoken of in verse 1 is that "great and dreadful Day of the Lord" spoken of a few verses hence in Mal. 4:5. It is the day the God of Judgment returns to this earth according to His promise, exactly as it is written so many places in His Word with so many illustrations describing that great day. However, do not let the symbolic language which is used by the Holy Spirit to paint graphic "pictures" in our mind's eye to make clear His truths, pull you away from the simplicity of the teachings in God's Word. Do your homework and understand what the "earthly symbols" represent that are used to describe those things which are "spiritual". For example, His Word is likened to a two-edged sword (Rev. 1:16). You "see", a person can "see" a sword slice through a man's flesh body but one cannot "see" words slice through a man's heart or soul! Likewise, our Father is a consuming fire (Heb. 12:29) and His Truth, His Holy Spirit, is likened to "fire" (Acts. 2)! You "see", a man can "see" fire burn straw and hay but he cannot see truth burn lies and consume away wicked deeds. Here is a verse concerning the two olive trees and two candlesticks in Rev. 11 to illustrate the point:

Rev. 11:5
And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

These words cause our flesh minds to "picture" flames spewing forth from one's mouth like a flame thrower burning up an individual, doesn't it? But the analogy is put forth to simply show us the effect of the "fire" of the Holy Spirit, His Truth, as it consumes the lies and injustice (hurt) of our enemies! Peter uses the same analogy of "fire" and its quality of "heat" and its ability to "melt" things down when he speaks of the same day, the day of the LORD we just read of in Mal. 4:1. Here it is:

2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Again, do some homework and you will find that the word "elements" does not refer to the periodic table of earth's material elements. It means "principles" and "rudiments" such as evil ideologies and false doctrines and all the evil works of the present "order" of things on earth... not the surface of the planet! Therefore, this is great news to those who love and serve truth and justice and walk in His ways! The King of kings and Lord of lords is soon coming to this earth and EVERY knee shall bow, and He and His saints shall rule ALL nations with a rod of iron! You "see", there shall be no more Egypt (symbolic of the system of captivity and oppression) and no more Edom (symbolic of the system of communism, those "red" nations)! All those rudiments (elements) shall be consumed by His "fire"!

Malachi 4:2
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

When Jesus Christ comes on that day, those who fear (revere) their Father shall go forth and "grow up" as calves of the stall, which is a figure of speech meaning "to leap" as frolicking calves when they are let loose from the stall. Even now those upon whom He has shed His light of truth have been delivered and set free and have experienced the joy and the frolicking! (John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.") To wit, the word "healing" means "deliverance" and "His wings" should read "His rays of light". In other words, the warming rays from the brightness of His coming and the shining light of His truth shall deliver us from captivity (Babylon) and set us free "as calves of the stall"!

If you have eyes to see and ears hear and you are one of those spoken of in verse two who love and serve Him, then pay close attention to the next verse because it is written to YOU!

Malachi 4:3
And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

To "tread down" means "to squeeze out juice" as if "to trample" in a winepress. And to be "turned to ashes" means it was "consumed by fire", doesn't it? Did we not just read in Rev. 11:5 concerning the two olive trees** and the two candlesticks** that "fire would proceed out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies".

**The two olive trees are those "sons of oil", the "two anointed ones" spoken of in Zechariah 4. Candlesticks are symbolic of "churches" (Rev. 1:20) and the only two out of the seven churches in this final generation that do God's work are the churches of Philadelphia and Smyrna (see Rev. 2 & 3). Our Father loves them very much because they "fear His name" as in they "love Him" and they show forth their love by keeping His Word (Rev. 3:9-10). John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

[4] Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

We have now come to the final three verses which close the Minor Prophets and the great Book of Malachi (My Messenger) and look... behold... we have both Moses and Elijah mentioned (in verses 4 and 5 respectively)! These two men represent "the law" and "the prophets" both of which give their testimony to both "the glory" of the first and "the glory" of the second advent of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. Note: I did not say they were the two witnesses spoken of in Rev. 11, but that they both prophesied and give witness and testimony to the glory of the great and marvelous works of His coming. Matthew 11:13 "For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John."

To that end, you may recall that it was Moses and Elijah who "appeared in glory" to certain of the disciples, Peter, John, and James, on the Mount of Transfiguration where they spoke "of His decease which He should accomplish at Jerusalem", which was His FIRST advent and "the reason" He came at the first advent. Luke 9:30-31"And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias: [31] Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which He should accomplish at Jerusalem."

... And so it is in these last days, as it has been written and declared in His Word these thousands of years, Elijah the prophet shall be sent unto His messenger's in the last days just BEFORE the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD!

Malachi 4:5
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

BEHOLD! Pay real close attention now! To whom is He speaking? To whom shall He send Elijah the prophet, not Elijah the Tishbite, i.e. the person of Elijah (see note in Companion Bible on pg. 1301). He shall send Elijah the prophet to you, you who are alive in the final generation, the generation alive in the flesh just BEFORE the great and dreadful day of the LORD! Certainly you can "see" that this is NOT speaking of John the Baptist and the first advent for he did NOT precede the great and dreadful day of the LORD. And what shall be the result of His "sending you Elijah the prophet"?

[6] And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest [before] I come and smite the earth with a curse.

What is the "curse" He shall smite the earth with? It is the smiting of the king of Babylon, the curse of Satan, the false messiah whom He shall send at the sound of 6th Trump (Rev. 12:7-9). You see, even before that cursed one comes as His rod of chastisement, there shall be a "reuniting" of many of the lost children of the House of Israel with the true heritage of their forefathers (many even listed in Rev. 7) leading them all the way "back home" (spiritually) to their heavenly Father. Notice also that the word "father(s)" is plural because at the same time the hearts of the children of disobedience shall be turned to their father, the false father, the false rock!

And so it is written that there shall come a "seed" in the final generation (Ps. 22:30-31), who are the sons and daughters of the promise, upon whom our Father shall pour out His Spirit whereby they are able to "see" (understand) the visions of the prophets (Acts 2) and they shall teach the law and the prophets (His Word) to their brothers and sisters in love, speaking after the manner of the covenant of Levi, "Thus saith the Lord" and "It is written"! And through the power of His might, through the light of truth of the Word of God, many blind shall "see" and many lame shall learn to walk in His ways and many "lost children" of the House of Israel shall be freed from their captivity and find their way back home to the house of their fathers, even to the House of their loving Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who shall welcome them with open arms!" Isaiah 24:7
The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.

[8] The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.

What a wonderful gift our Father has given to us by giving us His Word of Truth. For that we thank Him dearly!
 

Rev. 15:2-4
And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

[3] And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

[4] Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

It tells of how dearly and lovingly our Father brought forth and nourished and protected His people, giving them of the fattest portions and blessings of the earth and how after all that, they turned their backs and whored after other gods, provoking our Father to jealousy. It tells of how His people would become "lo ammi", which is to say "not my people" for period of time.

It tells of how He would scatter His people abroad and they would lose their identity, no longer calling themselves of the House of Israel and in fact calling themselves gentiles. It tells of how God would allow the "teeth of beasts" and the "poison of serpents" to come upon them to chastise them, and yet through all of this our loving Father would not forsake them.

Finally it tells how in the end, in the last days, that God would render vengeance to His enemies and to the enemies of His people, that they would know that He and He alone is Sovereign, and that there is no other "rock" but Him. It is that Day of Vengeance, the pouring out of those 7 Last Plagues written of in the Book of Revelation.

Yes, the overcomers of the beast and his system and his locust army will be, and even now are, singing the Victory Song, the Song of Moses, for in it they know the plan from the beginning and that they have the victory in Him! And in the end they will have seen His Word has come to pass exactly as it was written, even as it is coming to pass this very day.

Isaiah 24:15
Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.

[16] From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous [righteous one]. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.

[17] Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.

Rev. 12:12

Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Luke 21:34-36

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. [35] For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. [36] Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Isaiah 24:18
And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.

Rev. 6:14
And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Haggai 2:20-22
And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying, [21] Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth; [22] And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

Isaiah 24:19
The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

[20] The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

[21] And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.

Daniel 2:43
And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

Isaiah 24:22
And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

Rev. 20:2
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

Rev. 20:3
And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Isaiah 24:23
Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before His ancients gloriously.

Let us close this most informative 24th chapter of Isaiah with the first five verses of Revelation 19 that pretty well sums up what we have studied in today's lesson.

Rev. 19:1-5
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

[2] For true and righteous are his judgments: for He hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of His servants at her hand.

[3] And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

[4] And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

[5] And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye His servants, and ye that fear Him, both small and great.
