The Book of Isaiah
Chapter 26

The events foretold of in our Father's Word pertaining to this final generation of the fig tree are rapidly coming to pass before our very eyes. For example, the multi-headed one world political system, the first beast of Rev. 13:1 we call the New World Order, has now risen from among the sea of people and is rapidly increasing in strength like a bear, and in swiftness and prowess like a leopard, and in its ability to rip and shred as with the great cheek teeth of a lion, anyone who stands in its way. To wit, terrorist acts and the international war on terrorism have provided new "cause" for the nations of the world to unite while at the same time allowing many nations to circumvent due process of law and implement check-point security measures and high-tech surveillance (prowess) systems that are increasingly infringing upon the liberties and privacy of their citizens. That is not to say nations should not take measures to provide for the common defense of their countries and to secure their borders, etc. However, peace provided through the restrictions and monitoring of its citizenry is not really peace at all! In other words, you can be safe and secure in a jail cell but when you wake up you will find you have only the liberty granted by your big brother the jailer.

Yes, we hear the cry of "peace and safety (1 Thes. 5:3)" as the building of the New World Order continues to accelerate. However, apart from Almighty God, no matter how high a citadel or how strong a fortified city man establishes on his own in order to provide for his own safety and well-being, it ultimately cannot and will not stand. And so shall it be with the great fortified city that is being built at this very moment, even Babylon the great of these last days, that it shall become as that dung heap and pile of dust we read about in chapter 25! For you "see", unless the presence of Almighty God surrounds you, there is no wall of protection or "homeland security", be it national, international, or individual. To that end, this remarkable 26th chapter of Isaiah will give us not only an outline of how our Father's wondrous plan shall unfold in these last days, but it will also give us an in-depth view of the purpose behind His chastisement and vengeance upon the ungodly!

We first begin with the good news that we have the victory over the beast and that our Rock in whom we trust, the King of kings and Lord of lords, is returning at the sound of the 7th Trump and the walls of the great city being built in these last days are going to come crashing down. And in that day shall the LORD establish His world ruling kingdom upon Mount Zion and every knee from every nation shall bow to the name of, to the authority of, Jesus Christ, the Word of God. That good news of the coming kingdom, called the gospel of the kingdom (the King and His domain), will soon be proclaimed to all nations when God's elect are delivered up to give witness and testimony before the kings and rulers of this world (Mark 13:9). When that great day of His return has come, Jerusalem will need no security fence or fortified walls, for "the glory of the LORD shall be in the midst of her and unto her a wall of fire round about". It is written... and so shall it be.

Zech. 2:4-5
And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: [5] For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

Zech. 2:10-13
Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. [11] And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee. [12] And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again. [13] Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for He is raised up out of his holy habitation.

In that day, when Jesus Christ returns, there shall be joy and true peace in the land of Judah and the song that begins in the first verse of this 26th chapter will be sung.
Isaiah 26:1
In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appointforwalls and bulwarks.
Remember what the name "Isaiah" means... "Yahveh's salvation" and it is Yahshua, Jesus Christ, who is Yahveh's salvation. He is our strength and our fortress and He is alone is our wall of protection and our salvation. And at the appointed time, in that day, He shall come and stand upon Mt. Zion with the saints of the Most High (Rev. 14:1) and establish His kingdom.
salvation, yeshu?a?h yesh-oo'-aw H3444
Feminine passive participle of H3467; something saved, that is, (abstractly) deliverance; hence aid, victory, prosperity: - deliverance, health, help (-ing), salvation, save, saving (health), welfare.
Rev 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

Rev 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
What a glorious day that will be!
[2] Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in.
Jesus Christ is the gate, even the door, through which one must enter in (John 10:9). He is truth and His ways are right and just. The good news is that those who "keep the truth", even now, may enter into the strong city and become part of His righteous nation.
gate, sha?ar shah'-ar H8179
From H8176 in its original sense; an opening, that is, door or gate: - city, door, gate, port (X -er).
[3] Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Is your mind "stayed" upon Jesus Christ, YHVH's Saviour? He is the Prince of Peace (Isa. 9:6) and those who trust in Him have already entered into His rest for they are "the children of the day (1 Thes. 5:5)" and they have peace of mind, that perfect peace, "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding...(Phil. 4:7)".

And in that day His people, i.e. God's elect, shall stand as His righteous nation and the nations of the world shall be joined unto them (Isa. 60:2, Zech. 2:11).

Zech. 2:11
And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
In that day there will be no doubt as to where true salvation lies. The good news is that you can have that salvation and strength and power right now if you will turn to Him and trust in His salvation, as in "love the LORD thy God with all thy heart, and withall thy soul, and with all thy mind (Mat. 22:37)".
[4] Trust ye in the LORD forever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
The Hebrew for "everlasting strength" would better be translated as "Rock of Ages". It is the same word translated "Rock" three times in the Song of Moses, the song of the overcomers of the beast, the song we sing even now in the ears of our beloved brothers and sisters!
Deut. 32:4
He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.
This is definitely not the song that the enlightened "high and mighty" liberals sing, i.e. that Jesus Christ, the Word of God, is the standard of all truth and justice! The song they sing comes from the "little rock", aka the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil", and is full of perverse and abominable stanzas and refrains. And there is no doubt on either side that our "rocks" are not the same, for the enemies of Christianity will be quick to tell you they do not recognize the authority of our Rock. But let it be known, like it or not, that day is soon coming when they will submit to the name of Christ, even as it is written that every knee shall bow to the name of Jesus (Phi. 2:10, Rom. 14:11).
Deut. 32:31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.
Just ask any of these anti-christian so-called civil-liberty groups and they will tell you our Rock is not theirs. They detest our Rock! However, they can try with all their might but our Rock is an immovable Rock and He shall NOT be moved from the midst of our minds.
Deut. 32:32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:
The fruit produced from the fields they plough and the corrupt vine they are plugged into is bitter (venomous) indeed. And if you eat the fruit from that vine you will receive the same reward as those of Sodom and Gomorrah... "now we see you, now we don't!" Let there be no misunderstanding for we are not judging anyone, just stating the truth of our Father's Word that there are indeed consequences to one's actions.
Deut. 32:33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.

Deut. 32:34 Is not this laid up in store with me and sealed up among my treasures?

This is extremely important... because part of the song we sing, contained in the Song of Moses, is that vengeance and recompense belong to God, not us! It is written that in due time, according to our Father's plan, they shall receive their just reward.
Deut. 32:35 To me belongeth vengeance, and recompense; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
In this day and age when abominations and perversions run rampant, be careful to follow God's Word in your dealings with others. Don't get caught up with name calling or finger pointing or judging those without. Let's hear what Paul wrote concerning the "puffing up" of some Christians who deem fornication, yes even incest among the brotherhood (1 Cor. 5:1), to be acceptable.
1 Cor. 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
The way you purge out the old leaven is to continue to feed on the pure unleavened truth of God's Word! Notice also that Paul brings the passover, our communion with Jesus Christ who is our passover, into this important instruction. Though abominations may be considered by the so-called "tolerant" to be just fine, they are not acceptable in the family of God and one had better hold fast to what Father's Word has to say on these matters both concerning a "brother" and one who is not a brother, i.e. one who is without.
1 Cor. 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Let there be no malice or wickedness on our part. Remember Jesus Christ told us to beware of the leaven (doctrine) of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees who were a bunch of judgmental religious hypocrites to begin with. Mat 16:6 "Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees." Let's listen how we are to conduct ourselves.
1 Cor. 5:9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
1 Cor. 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one no not to eat.
We do not eat (the passover) with, i.e. we do not spiritually commune with, those who "call themselves brothers" yet commit such things. Nor do we judge those who are outside the family of God such as those we meet in the workplace, etc., for we are not their judges! Yes, we remain steadfast in our belief that God's Word is the standard of truth and we continue to sing the song (teach) that His ways are just and right, but we let God be the judge of them that are without... knowing from His Word that in due time they shall receive their just recompense.
1 Cor. 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

1 Cor. 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Let us now return to Isaiah 26 and see what shall befall the "high and mighty", even the lofty city.
Isaiah 26:5
For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.
The lofty city in these last days that is brought forth by the kenites through their control of the Four Hidden Dynasties, shall be smashed to smithereens... "He brings it even to the dust". Mat 24:2 "And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say untoyou, There shall no tbe left hereone stone upon another, that shallnot be thrown down."
[6] The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
God's elect have a part in bringing down the New World Order even as they are seen standing with Him upon Mt. Zion (Rev. 14:1). Yea, the great lofty city shall be destroyed and the proud and haughty shall be abased. Christ's enemies shall be made His footstool for it is written that they shall come worship (Christ) before the feet of those who love and serve the Lord, i.e. those He loves who are already at His feet!
Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hastnot denied my name.

Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but dolie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to knowthat I have loved thee.

His "name" implies His authority.
name, onoma on'-om-ah G3686
From a presumed derivative of the base of G1097 (compare G3685); a “name” (literally or figuratively), (authority, character): - called, (+ sur-) name (-d).
The song we sing even now, the Song of Moses, declares that His Word is the way, the path of righteousness. Deut. 32:4 "He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He." Again, that is the song the overcomers of the beast are found singing in Rev. 15:3, "Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints".
Isaiah 26:7
The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
Those who love and serve God follow the path of righteousness. They follow Jesus Christ, the Living Word of God, who is the one who sets straight the path of the just. He is the King, "melchi" in Hebrew, of the "just", which is "zedek" or "zadok" in Hebrew. Together that would be "Melchizedek", the King of the just!
[8] Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
Those who love and serve God with all their hearts and minds and souls, who love His truth and His way of fair and equitable justice for all, long within their souls and wait patiently for His salvation and the day "when His judgments are in the earth (next verse)"! They know and remember well that our Father's plan contains both day and night, both a positive and negative side, in order that people might have the opportunity to step out of darkness and come into the light and become children of the day.
[9] With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
While we labor in the vineyard we still groan in our spirit, yearning and waiting patiently for the night to be over when the light of truth shall shine forth from the glorious land unto all the earth. In that day the Zadok, God's elect, shall teach righteousness to His people and they shall learn of His ways!
Eze 44:23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
It is all too obvious that many of our people cannot tell the difference between a good vine and a bad vine, between the tree of life, Jesus Christ, that which is holy, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Satan, that which is profane!
Eze 44:24 And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.
Yes, like it or not, God's judgments shall soon be in the earth and the inhabitants of the earth are going to learn righteousness... even as it is written that all nations shall be ruled (governed) by His rod of iron, which means with disciplined adherence to His laws and statutes which shall be enforced by the saints of the Most High!
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
There is going to be a lot of "spiritual squeezing" going on during the Millennium for it is that period of time Joel calls "the valley of decision (Joel 3:14)". Why is all this necessary? Because one must come to the point where he or she desires righteousness from within, as in chooses of his or her own free will to love God and His ways rather than Satan and his ways.

Yes, it is true that Father is going to use the rod of iron to teach everyone in the Millennium the ways of His righteousness, and it shall produce peace and harmony for 1000 years in stark contrast to the previous 6,000 years of man's ways. During the Millennium Satan shall be bound in the pit but when the 1000 years is ended, it is written in Rev. 20:3 that he (Satan) will be released for a little season, for a season of testing to see who will yet follow him or choose to hold fast to the mercy seat of truth and justice.

Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Rev. 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

The next verse (Isa. 26:10) gives us wisdom and insight into why God has set the events of this final generation to culminate in manner we have already learned in this great book of Isaiah. Remember we have covered numerous times so far that our Father is going to lift His hand and send the Assyrian as a rod of chastisement against His people. That abominable one (Mat. 24:15) shall come stand in the holy place claiming to be God and through the spreading of his lies and deceitfulness shall cause much spiritual desolation, even to those multitudes who call themselves Christians.
Here is an excerpt from our study of chapter 10 concerning that desolation by the Assyrian:
Isaiah 10:3
And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?
Do not be deceived by any means (2 Thes. 2:3), God is sending the desolator, that "abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet", who is the death angel, the son of perdition, Satan himself as the spurious messiah, to make the land (spiritually) desolate and to take captive the hearts and minds of the children.
desolation, show', sho, Hebrew 7722; or (feminine) show'ah, sho-aw'; or sho'ah, sho-aw'; from an unused root meaning to rush over; a tempest; by implication devastation :- desolate (-ion), destroy, destruction, storm, wasteness.
When Satan and his angels are cast out of heaven to this earth (Rev. 12:7-9) they shall take the world by storm through means of great signs and wonders and miracles that the false messiah shall perform in the sight of men. Make sure you know where to spiritually flee so that you are not caught up in that storm, that flood of his lies and deception (Matthew 24:16-20) that spew forth from the mouth of the dragon! Those who have wisdom and knowledge from the Word of God know that when they see the Assyrian come upon Jerusalem, as in when they see the abomination of desolation come stand in the holy place where he ought not, that they are to flee to the mountain of God, to hear His Voice and follow His instructions.
[4] Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Unless you have the "seal of God" in your forehead, meaning you have the knowledge and wisdom of His Word etched in the forefront of your mind, then you are "without Him" and you will bow down as a captive and fall to the sword of the Assyrian in these last days! And don't let some preacher-type deceive you by telling you that you are not going to be here when the king of Babylon, Satan, comes because Jesus Christ is going to come first and "rapture" you away. We are reading from the very Word of Truth that it is God Himself who sends the Assyrian to chastise those who have angered Him by forsaking His Word to follow after the traditions of men, who put their trust in the works of their own hands and the systems that men have devised to provide for their well being. In fact, we will find the chronological order given in the next few verses (6 & 12) just as Paul gives it to us in 2 Thes. 2. Let us also be reminded that historically the Assyrian did come upon our people and they were taken captive and carried away and many did fall under his sword. This was done as an ensample to give us a type to "see" and is written in His Word "for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come (1 Cor. 10:11)".
[5] O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
This is a divine summons, a decree that our Father will use the Assyrian as His rod of correction to chastise His people as part of the "outstretching of His hand" against an impious and godless nation, even against His own children who cannot tell the difference between the "profane" and the "holy" and thus cannot discern between the "unclean" and the "clean".
[6] I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
The important thing to remember in this verse is that it is God Almighty who is in control and it is He who sends the Assyrian against His people and gives him charge to take the spoil, etc. In other words, sending the Assyrian, who we will document in chapter 14 is a type of Satan as thr false-christ, is part of His plan in this final generation to show His people who provoke Him to wrath and jealously, that the path they choose to follow in ignoring His Word always leads to captivity, oppression, and ultimately death! But remember also that God is not angry with those who love and serve Him... but rather with those who work iniquity and especially those who mislead His children to cause them to stumble and fall.
[7] Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
Satan and his locust army have no idea that they are instruments in the hand of God, even His rod of chastisement against His people! In fact, these arrogant liberals think that it is by "their might" that they are taking the kingdom and world dominion unto themselves... but as verse 12 will document, God is complete control... always has been, is now, and always will be! And when His work is finished He will chop down the tree of the knowledge and good and evil and all the rest of Satan's little would-be-gods in one fell swoop!
[8] For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings?
No, Satan's little princes (sars in Hebrew) of darkness are just kings (melek's) for an hour (Rev. 17:12), but it is the saints of the most High who take the kingdom and possess it forever and ever. It is the Zadok, the just ones, God elect, who shall be kings and priests and altogether reign with Jesus Christ for a thousand years (Rev. 20:4-6)! (End of excerpt)
With those thoughts in mind, let us continue in Isaiah 26.
Isaiah 26:10
Let favor be showed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.
You can show favor to, be nice to, and bestow a multitude of God given blessings upon liberals, but they will still not turn to the wonderful, majestic, ways of righteousness that produce liberty and justice for all. In fact, incredible as it may be, there will still be some who will choose to eat the deadly fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Satan) at the end of the Millennium when he is released for that little season of testing. And you know what the consequence shall be? "They shall surely die!" Only this time their death will be the second death, the death of the soul in which they will perish along with Satan in the lake of fire and be no more (Ezek. 28:19) forever and ever!

However, for many, though they will not "see" through the tribulation of the false-christ because they are sorely deceived and shall even worship Satan as Jesus, they shall have a rude awakening when the true Christ returns, whom they will not be expecting because they will believe He is already here, and they shall realize the shame of their spiritual nakedness! They will then realize that they had been taken to wife by the false messiah, that they had fallen to the spiritual sword of the Assyrian, that they had been slain by the fiery darts (lies and deceits) of the wicked, even the wicked one!

[11] LORD, when thy hand is lifted up, they will not see: but they shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them.
Our Father is a consuming fire and it is that fire that shall devour His enemies! Heb 12:29 "For our God is a consuming fire." However, the enemy has a "fire" of his own and unfortunately our people are unprotected from those fiery darts of the wicked because "they have forsaken God which made them, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation (Deut. 32;15)". They do not hunger and thirst, meaning they do not desire within their souls to eat that pure unleavened bread of truth and drink from the pure living water and seek the righteousness of His Word. Therefore they do NOT have on the gospel armour that would make them spiritually impervious to wicked lies and deceit. You "see", without putting on the whole armour of God, which means to have His Word sealed in your forehead (mind), one cannot stand against the wiles of the devil and thus he or she will fall prey to Satan and his locust army!
Eph. 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Rev. 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

To many of our people, the words of fools, who are those who do not have common sense and wisdom that comes from the Word of God, sound so compassionate and seem to be what is right and good for the people. Little do they know what vine that poison gall comes from! Again, though they will not see through the chastisement of the great tribulation, they shall see and be ashamed and wish for the mountains to fall upon them (Rev. 6:16, Rev. 16:15) when Christ returns at the sound of the 7th Trump and the system and the one they so looked up to have been crushed to smithereens and brought down low to the ground respectively.
[12] LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.
Those who love the Lord and wait patiently on Him, already have the peace of mind that passes all (of flesh man's) understanding. They are comforted by the spirit of truth and know as they see the events Christ foretold us of come to pass before their very eyes, that the glorious day of His return is near, even at the doors (Mat. 24:33). And the reason we give our Father all the glory and honor for what He has done through us, is that we know that there is none good but one... and it isn't us (Mark 10:18)! All our righteousness is as filthy rags (Isa. 64:6).

Next we are going to see a parallel to that which is written in the 11th chapter of Revelation concerning the "day of vengeance" yet to come.

We are studying our Father's plan of salvation and how it is that He shall culminate the end of this flesh age, how He shall "wake up His people" and cause them to turn unto Him, and how He shall bring all "peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues" to their knees in submission to His authority. In that day, when the five month reign of Satan has ended and the true King of kings and Lord of lords returns to this earth, there are two things people are going to witness at the birth of a new age.

First, as we learned in verses 11 & 12, His people will finally come to "see" and "be ashamed for their envy at the people", i.e. when they see God's elect, those who have "gotten the victory over the beast (Rev. 15:2)", glorified and standing with Jesus Christ on Mount Zion (Rev. 14:1), exalted as kings and priests and ready to rule and reign with Him for a thousand years (Rev. 20:6). The two witnesses will have been slain (Rev. 11:8) and now risen from lying in the street (plateia) of the great city (Rev. 11:12) for three and a half days and their adversaries shall behold them.

Secondly, as we shall learn, in contrast to their witnessing the glory of Christ and His saints at the 1st resurrection, which is the raising of the just ones to the status of eternal life, the other thing people are going to see is the everlasting destruction, the consuming, of the "dead", who are those fallen angels of Genesis chapter 6 who came to earth without being born of water and who are now reserved in chains to the judgment of the great day (Jude 1:6, 2 Pet. 2:4).

In that day, when Jesus Christ returns to this earth at the sound of the 7th Trump, those who have NOT overcome the beast but rather submitted themselves to the authority of the beast and worshipped Satan, the false messiah, are now going to have to walk through the Valley of Decision, as Joel calls it (Joel 3:14), which is the 1000 year period we call the Millennium. And unlike those who were granted eternal life at the first resurrection, "on whom (such) the second death has no power (Rev. 20:6)", their souls will still be subject to the second death, i.e. liable to die, as in perish in the lake of fire that occurs at the end of the Millennium following the great white throne judgment. Rev. 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."

Then at the end of the Millennium, the decision of those who are still liable to die must be tested to see whether they will enter into life by remaining steadfast to Jesus Christ and becoming as those whom they saw exalted at the sound of the 7th Trump, or perish in the lake of fire by once again following Satan and his liberal ways when he is released for that short season of testing (Rev. 20:3) and becoming as one of the "dead" whom they saw destroyed at the sound of the 7th Trump.

One of the true marvels of God's plan is that by then all people will have walked through this flesh age, through the Valley of the Shadow of Death*, and will have died the first death* in order that they may better understand the real death, which is the second death. Not only that, after having personally received their just recompense according to their works, for a thousand years they will have been taught the difference between the holy and the profane in order to cause them to be able to discern between that which clean and that which is unclean (Ezek. 44:23). To that end, always remember that our Father is completely fair and just, which means there will be no doubt that each and every soul was afforded plenty of opportunity, experience, and knowledge with which to make his or her choice to either enter into life or die that second death!

*Note: It is written that prior to the judgment it is given unto all men once to die. That means they must be willing to come down from heaven above (anothen, John 3:3) and be born of water and die the first death, which is merely the death of the flesh body.  Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." However, the death of the flesh is only a shadow death or a type of the real death, which is the death of the soul in the lake of fire. That is why Jesus Christ told us in Matthew 10:28, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear [revere] Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Again, the fallen angels of Genesis 6 chose not to obey the command to be born of water and have thus condemned themselves to eternal destruction.

With that background in mind, let us now conclude our study of the 26th chapter of Isaiah.

Isaiah 26:13
O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.
The Hebrew word for "other lords" is 'adon (see below). They are likened to "the deceased", the Rephaim, in verse 14, who were the giant offspring of fallen angels in Genesis 6 who were destroyed in the flood of Noah. And so it is that Satan's angelic host will once again come to this earth when they are cast out of heaven with him at the sound of the 6th Trump (Rev. 12:7-9). They are the "other lords" who shall soon come and have dominion over the whole earth. Those angels are the ten (supernatural) kings of Rev. 17:12 who shall give their power to the beast and reign with him for "one hour", that final hour of the great tribulation at the end of this flesh age. Of course while they may rule and have dominion over the earth, they will not have the dominion over the minds of those who have the seal of God in their foreheads (Rev.9:4).
lords, ??? ???? 'adon 'adon, aw-done', aw-done' H113
From an unused root (meaning to rule); sovereign, that is, controller (human or divine): - lord, master, owner. Compare also names beginning with “Adoni-”.
Though the whole world shall be taken captive by the false messiah and ruled by him and his lords, his angelic host, God's elect will remain steadfast in their Father's Word and will not bow a knee to the authority of the beast nor worship Satan. They will continue to proclaim (to call upon) the name of the Lord, which is to declare His Word as just and true, as the supreme authority. Remember that is the song of the overcomers, even the Song of Moses, that His works are great and marvellous and His ways are just and true (Rev. 15:3)! Only those who "endure unto the end (Mat. 24:13)" and proclaim His righteousness will be saved while all others will be found marching to the merry tune of the peace and prosperity of the New World Order and bowing to the spurious messiah.

The following verse from the great book of Joel, quoted by Peter in Acts chapter 2, documents what we just said.

Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call* on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
*call, H7121 ??? qara' kaw-raw'
A primitive root (rather identical with H7122 through the idea of accosting a person met); to call out to (that is, properly address by name, but used in a wide variety of applications): - bewray [self], that are bidden, call (for, forth, self, upon), cry (unto), (be) famous, guest, invite, mention, (give) name, preach, (make) proclaim (-ation), pronounce, publish, read, renowned, say.
All others will have bowed to those "other lords" who have dominion over the earth, even those ten kings, "which have received no kingdom yet", i.e. they don't have the dominion yet, but shall receive power as kings (lords) one hour with the beast when they are cast out of heaven with that old serpent, Satan... who is the false messiah.
Rev 17:12 And the ten horns [horns are symbolic of power] which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
Again, these ten kings are the fallen angels of Genesis chapter 6 who left their first habitation (Jude 6) and came to earth without being born of woman and took the daughters of Adam to wife in order to corrupt the seedline through which Messiah would be born.
Rev 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
With the added power of Satan's angelic host, the fallen angels of Genesis chapter 6, the beast shall be strong indeed and the spiritual warfare waged against the saints of the Most High will be most intense! But do not worry nor be anxious for we have the victory in Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, who already defeated death (Satan) at the cross of Calvary. Heb. 2:14 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil."
Rev. 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Those who come with and stand with Christ at His coming, those who are called, and chosen, and faithful, shall have the victory and shall take the kingdom and possess it forever and ever. Daniel 7:18 "But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever." Meanwhile, those "other lords", the ten kings who had the dominion, shall be "visited and destroyed"... as in perish forever and ever!
Isaiah 26:14
They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.
The proper understanding of this verse can only be determined by knowing that the word "deceased" is a proper name, Rephaim, and therefore should not have been translated to its meaning but rather left in tact as a proper name (see Dr. Bullinger's note on page 962 in the Companion Bible). Knowing that to be the case, it becomes clearly evident that this verse is not talking about human beings, but rather those "other lords" of verse 13.

The point is that all people are going to see both Satan's host perish and God's elect glorified at the sound of the 7th Trump! Thus the consequences of the choice they now have to make in the Valley of decision will be made manifest in their sight! They will now have a thousand years to "consider the man" bound in the pit, the one that "caused the earth to tremble, that did shake nations (Isa. 14:16)". And again, because of the wonderful and marvelous plan of "Yahveh's salvation", they shall fully know Satan's ultimate fate, and potentially their own, because they will have both experienced the first death and witnessed the eternal destruction of the fallen angels at the fall of Babylon the great. That they can compare to both the glory and honor of the saints of the Most High and the true worldwide peace and harmony produced and spread from Mt. Zion throughout the world during the Millennium as the result of all nations and peoples strictly adhering the laws and statutes of God's Word.

[15] Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.
That small righteous nation of God's people we read about in verse 2, that remnant of God's elect to whom the nations of the world shall be joined, shall be increased "unto all the ends of the earth" as His glory shines forth from Mount Zion.

Then shall the people understand the marvelous and wondrous works our Father had prepared for the end of this flesh age and the good that was accomplished from the "negative" part of His plan when He purposely sent the Assyrian upon the land as the rod of His chastisement... bringing forth the time of trouble known as the great tribulation of the false-christ. Remember we read about that back in the 10th chapter. Isaiah 10:5-6 "O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. [6] I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets." And so it is that the time of trouble is upon us and shall even wax much worse when the abomination of desolation himself comes and stands in the holy place where he ought not (Mark 13:14).

Isaiah 26:16
LORD, in trouble have they visited thee, they poured out a prayer when thy chastening was upon them.
"They poured out a prayer" means the people "whispered a prayer" or "secret speech", like an incantation. That's because they were indoctrinated into false religion, even that "mystery" religion including false Christianity, spewed forth by Mystery, Babylon the Great (Rev. 17:5).
mystery, musterion, moos-tay'-ree-on, Greek 3466; from a derivative of muo (to shut the mouth); a secret or "mystery" (through the idea of silence imposed by initiation into religious rites) :- mystery.
You "see", the problem is they "did not call upon the name of the Lord" because they knew Him not! In other words, though many claimed to follow Christ they were sorely deceived by the false messiah, which is to receive his mark in their forehead... as in become spiritually impregnated with Satan's lies and deceits. That is why the analogy of a woman being with child is used throughout scripture to depict the deception of Satan, when he comes to earth as the false bridegroom, because when a woman is impregnated, made pregnant, she is said to be "with child". Jesus Christ used that analogy in Mat. 24:19, Mark 13:17 and Luke 21:23 which reads, "But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people". Again, this is an analogy, a similitude, for Christ was speaking of being "spiritually" with child (impregnated), not physically pregnant. Compare that with Isa. 54:1 & Luke 23:29 concerning those who remained virgins, un-impregnated, i.e. barren, unto the coming of the true bridegroom!
Isa. 54:1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
Luke 23:29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shal lsay, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.
And so it is when a woman is about to give birth, she goes into labor and the pangs begin to increase with frequency and intensity and duration... as she cries out in anguish.
[17] Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.
As Dr. Bullinger points out in the Companion Bible, this refers to the labor pangs of Mat. 24:8 which have already begun but shall increase in frequency and strength until the birth of a new age! Take heed because we ARE drawing near that time!
Mat. 24:8
All these are the beginning of sorrows.

sorrows, ????? odin o-deen' G5604
Akin to G3601; a pang or throe, especially of childbirth: - pain, sorrow, travail.

When it is all over and this flesh age has come to an end, then will the people awaken to know how great the deception was and realize that they had been taken to wife by the false messiah and therefore had to go through the labor pains which did not "wrought any deliverance in the earth". They shall come to know that the false winds of doctrine they brought forth did NOT bring them to the Light! Here it is:
Isaiah 26:18
We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
"Neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen" means "nor did the inhabitants of the world come to the light (of truth)"! Why not? Because of the "wind", the "ruach", which in this case was the "mystery (musterion) of iniquity (2 Thes. 2:7)" which is the spirit of Satan. Have you been "initiated" into false "winds" of doctrine? There is a way to find out and that is to test, as in assay by fire, all the beliefs you grew up with with the Word of God to see whether or not they are gold or stubble. John explains how to do that:
1 John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
The Greek word for "try" is "dokimaz" which means "to assay, to make trial of, put to the proof, examine, as metals by fire, etc., to prove, try". (This definition is taken from "A Critical Lexicon and Concordance", Kregel Publishers, by E. W. Bullinger.)
We are to use God's Word like the purifying fire it is to assay the spirits and doctrines of all men who profess to teach God's Word. There should be NO EXEMPTIONS from the fiery test, whether they be preachers, popes, bishops, elders, priests, ministers, deacons, laypersons, or teachers, including this teacher. Check them all out! If what they say aligns with the Word of God then it is "good as gold". If it is contrary to God's Word then consider it consumed and burned as a straw man and his words! Paul said in 1 Thes. 5:21, "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."
1 John 4:2
Hereby...
Don't miss this word! It means "By this thing (which is the testing), i.e. "This is how" we know the Spirit of God, by knowing the Word of God. John now gives us the simplest of doctrines to test.
[2] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
What saith the scriptures concerning Jesus coming in the flesh? Surely you can find many simple ones, like those that document that Christ was both prophesied to be and was born of the virgin Mary.
Hebrews 2:14
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Romans 1:3
Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

The point is that it is scriptural that Jesus Christ came in the flesh... so that doctrine is of God! Anyone who teaches otherwise is promoting darkness and a wind (spirit of doctrine) that will NOT lead the inhabitants of the earth to the Light!  2 John 1:7 "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver."

Next verse in Isaiah.

Isaiah 26:19
Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
"Thy dead" (Strong's #4191) referred to at the beginning of this verse, those who shall see the Light and live (eternally), are NOT the same as "the dead" (Strong's #7496) at the end of this verse who "the earth shall cast out", i.e. they will be destroyed.

To wit, there shall definitely be a great "awaking", an earthquake, as in an enormous worldwide shake-up at the sound of 7th Trump. Have you ever read Revelation chapter 11 concerning God's two witnesses who shall be killed and lie in the street (plateia, i.e. open arena) of the great city for three and a half days, but who then shall rise at the coming of the Lord and His saints... and their enemies shall behold them? At that same time, that same hour, there shall be "a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven."

Rev 11:11 And after three days and a half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
The "they" in this verse are the two witnesses.
Rev 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Ten is the number of crowns on the ten horns (Rev. 13:1) who have the dominion over the whole earth, even the number of those ten supernatural kings, the other lords, who have the dominion over the whole earth when they reign for that one hour with the beast! Well, Babylon the great is coming down when the King of kings and Lord of lords returns and those ten dominions shall surely fall! "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen (Rev. 18:12)". At that time, in that same hour, those fallen angels who come with Satan when he is cast out of heaven, shall be destroyed and cast from the earth forever and ever.

What a time we have to look forward to! Our Father's plan is truly awesome indeed and when the veil of this dimension is brought down, i.e. when this flesh age ends and that great awaking occurs, the simplicity of His wondrous and marvelous works will be made manifest to all... right before their very eyes! They shall see the glory of Christ and of His saints who made it to the Light at His coming, and the eternal destruction of those who chose darkness over the Light!

In conclusion, here is some good advice from your Father:

[20] Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
The desolation and indignation of Satan, "who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God (2 Thes. 2:4)", is all but upon us dear ones. Now is the time to enter into the ark of His covenant, to stay firmly planted in the chambers of your Father's Word and endure unto the end (Mat. 24:13)... "till the indignation be accomplished" according as God has purposed it!
Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
Remember that the indignation is for only "a little moment", a "short season" indeed, for Christ shortened the time to five months (Mat. 24:22, Rev. 9:4). Even Satan himself knows that his time has been shortened and because of that it is written that he is infuriated when he comes. Rev. 12:12 "Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."
Dan 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
At the end of the reign of Satan and his angelic host, there shall be a day of vengeance and recompense (Isa. 61:2) at the sound of the 7th Trump. Where will you stand in that day? There will be those who shall receive life eternal at Christ's coming... and those who shall receive death! For all those who remain who did not make it to the light, these events will serve as types and witnesses to the great white throne judgment where either eternal life will be granted, which is the second and final time there will be a "raising" to the level of "immortality", or the second death shall occur, the death of the soul for all those who still choose to follow Satan.
[21] For, behold, the LORD cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
Now you know why the LORD comes out of His place to end this flesh age and punish the inhabitants of the earth who did not make it to the light because of their inquity. Again, it is because God loves all His children and it is His desire that His plan of salvation, the plan we are reading about in the book titled "YHVH's Salvation", will result in a turnaround for them. Unfortunately, we know there will still be some at the end of the Millennium who will once again eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and this time they will truly have "seen" and even "experienced" a type of the consequence thereof!
Genesis 2:17
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
