  John's thoughts about who the two witnesses of Revelation 11:3-14 are. Let's speculate for a minute: The Bible doesn't say they are 2 individual men. (WE JUST KNOW THEY'RE MEN BECAUSE OF THE REFERENCE TO THEIR DEAD BODIES NOT BEING PUT IN GRAVES IN VERSE 9) Did it ever occur to you that it may be referring to numerous men from 2 different churches? As in "members of the churches of Philadelphia and Smyrna" talked about in  Revelation 2:9 and 3:9  who know who the people are who claim to be Jews but are not, but do lie.

Satan, the false-christ, the spurious messiah, when he comes to earth claiming he is God surely would want to shut those men up, even if he must kill them to accomplish it.

The subject of Micah's vision (i.e. that "which he saw") concerns both Samaria and Jerusalem which were the capital cities of the House of Israel and the House of Judah respectively.  So all twelve tribes of the whole House of Israel are going to hear the words of the LORD through his servant Micah.

There are two important things concerning "Samaria" and "Jerusalem" that one must know and understand in order to "See" the vision of the prophet Micah, whose name in Hebrew means "Who is Yah? or Who is like Yahveh?" The first thing one needs to know is that although these cities historically were the capitals of the House of Israel and the House of Judah respectively, the second and third verses in the Book of Micah let us know that his vision concerning Samaria and Jerusalem was for the same time as the visions of Joel and Amos and Daniel, etc., i.e. for "time of the end" when as Micah 1:3 states that " the LORD (shall) cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth." Remember also that Micah was a Morasthite from Moresheth-gath (Micah 1:14) which means "Possession of the Winepress" which further documents the timeframe of Micah's vision to the wise of this generation who know from studying God's Word that the "treading of the winepress" by He who "possesses the winepress" occurs at the coming of the King of kings and Lord of lords. Here it is:

Rev. 19:15
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

[16] And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Therefore all one really needs to know is where the House of Israel and the House of Judah are today. The problem is that most people are under the false assumption that Israel and Judah are one and the same when in fact they are NOT! Just look through the maps in the appendix of most any Bible and you will find a map similar to the one below which shows the nation of Israel and the nation of Judah as two separate nations with two separate capitals. Furthermore, Ezekiel 37 documents that they will NOT be joined back together into one "stick" until Jesus Christ returns.

You can see in the map that Samaria, which means "watch mountain", was the capital of the northern 10 tribes which comprised the House of Israel. Both secular and Biblical history record that those tribes were taken captive by the Assyrian and eventually scattered abroad. Do you know where they went*? If you do a little historical research you will find that they traveled north over the Caucasus Mountains and settled in Western Europe and in the British Isles and later many of them migrated to the Americas. They became known as Cimmerians, Celts, Saxons (Saac's sons, i.e. Isaac's sons), etc. Today the House of Israel basically makes up the Christian nations of the world with the leading nations of the United States and Great Britain representing the tribes of Manasseh and Ephraim respectively. Of course America is the largest nation of the House of Israel today and her "Capital Hill", her Samaria today, is Washington, DC.

The second important thing we must learn and understand in order to "See" the vision of the prophet Micah is what the "sin of Samaria" is. This is extremely important for it is for this very reason, i.e. because of the "sin of Samaria", that the LORD comes forth out of His place to "tread the winepress" in His vineyard! However be forewarned that the "sin of Samaria" is a very difficult thing for most Christians to "see and understand" because they could not even begin to imagine that their church or church denomination could possibly be connected in any way to the apostasy which is so widespread among today's churchianity, even though Jesus Christ told us that the majority would be deceived by Christian ministers in these last days (Mk. 13:6). You see, by its very definition a person who is deceived does not know he or she is deceived. How could they possibly know? They are deceived! Have you ever met anyone who told you that what they believe to be true is actually not true? In other words, how could one believe that which he or she deems to be true, to also be in error, for then he would no longer believe it to be true, but rather error? Furthermore, if you do not know something then you do not know that you do not know it. For example, if you did not know that the Scots in their own Declaration of Independence known as "The Writ of Arbroath" trace their lineage back to their forefathers who came out of Egypt, then you did not know you did not know that. But now you do! Check it out.

Again, it is because of the "transgression of Jacob" which is "Samaria", i.e. the sin of Samaria, that makes our Father so angry. He is soon going to put a stop to it and destroy churchianity and idoltratous worship in His vineyard when He comes forth out of His place and treads upon the high places of the land. Micah 1:6 Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof. In Luke, Jesus explained to His disciples what he will do to the temple when He returns. Luke 21:6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down The churches and religious systems of this nation are coming down. They will be leveled and plowed under like a field overturned and ready for planting. The Lord will come down out of His place (vs. 3) and will tear down the walls (stones) of the high places and expose her very foundations. The false priests, the hirelings, have built up a false sense of security with their traditions like the Rapture Theory and have whitewashed the truth of God's Word with their traditions of men. Read all of Ezekiel 13 and see what our Father has against the prophets of Israel that He did NOT send!  

(Here ye, hear ye!) This world is GOING TO FIND OUT REAL SOON who it is that "possesses the Winepress" and treads it, and also the express details of the reasons why? You see, it all begins with the "transgression of Jacob" and the "sin of Samaria", which is the idolatry of our people who have been lead astray from the Word of God where justice and truth abide and instead are taught in many of our churches, to follow after the traditions of men. This has resulted in a "famine" in our land which as brother Amos writes in his book concerning these last days, is a famine for the hearing of the Word of God, not a famine for bread nor a thirst for water... Amos 8:11 "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:" --- Oh, don't misunderstand! --- We hear a lot in our churches about Jesus! --- It's just that His Word is not taught chapter by chapter, line by line and verse by verse, except by a few, and so we as a nation are void of the knowledge of His wisdom and have become, as such, a nation of Biblical illiterates. Needless to say, our Father is very saddened by the conditions He finds on the earth and in this nation at the time of harvest, when the fruit should be ripe and His own vineyard filled with sweet luscious clusters that can be eaten. But what a mess His vineyard is in. Here is what our Father has to say about it: ---- Micah 7:1 Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit. --- The "Woe is me" that begins this final chapter of Micah expresses the lamentation, the extreme disappointment and sadness our Father feels. He comes to His vineyard to reap a ripe plump cluster of grapes and instead finds that there are nothing but scattered grapegleanings left behind. Just about everything has been picked clean. ----- By the way, the vineyard is the true house of Israel, those so-called "lost 10 tribes" from the ancient house of Israel who migrated over the Caucasus Mountains after being carried off into Assyria. Raymond Capt.) or log unto pamphlets #1064 and #1020 on this web site.] ----- Isaiah 5:7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and He looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry. ----- "These two lines (judgment...oppression & righteousness...cry) may be Englished by "He looked for equity, but found inequity; for right, but behold might", as used in oppression and producing a 'cry'." (see Companion Bible, note on Isa. 5:7, pg 937.) ----- Micah 7:2 The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net. ----- As we say today, "They are all out for blood!", for what they can get for self. ----- Their version of the Golden Rule is to "Do unto others before they do unto you!" ----- And do not forget about those who control the Four Hidden Dynasties, i.e. ride the four horses of the apocalypse (Rev. 6). Their version of the Golden Rule is that "The Guys with the Gold make the Rules". ----- [3] That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up. ----- We can sure see where this is true of the overall legislative and judicial systems in our country where both sides of the isle and both the ideologically declared "right" and the "left" hands do evil earnestly, together, in a "true bi-partisan manner". [We do have some good people in our government, and this is not an all inclusive indictment, but the vision of our founding fathers where our leaders hold true to the concept of "One nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all!" has fallen short because there is too large a "separation of godly men and state", the church notwithstanding.] ----- Deals of compromise, plea bargaining, bribery, and all sorts of "flatteries" (chalaq* in Hebrew - see Dan. 11:32) have now become the norm. ----- What about "Right and Wrong"? [Who cares?] Certainly not the lovers (fornicators) who make their beds with the beast! chalaq, khaw-lak', Hebrew 2505; a primitive root; to besmooth (figurative); by implication (as smooth stones were used for lots) to apportion or separate :- deal, distribute, divide, flatter, give, (have, im-) part (-ner), take away a portion, receive, separate self, (be) smooth (-er). ----- Note: Do you have the wisdom to count the number of the beast (Rev. 13:18), which is to use "smooth stones" in enumeration, i.e. to trace the mark of service of the kenites (sons of Cain) from the beginning in the garden to this very day and right up to the 6th Seal, the 6th Trump, and the 6th Vial? ----- Look up the word "count" in your Strong's Concordance ----- [4] The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity. The "day of the watchman" means the day the watchmen foretold about, which is the time of calamity when perplexity, the confusion of right and wrong, and the inability and/or unwillingness to discern between the holy and the profane shall abound. Take a good look around and you should no longer have any doubts why our Father is angry and determined He shall come forth out of His place to tread upon the high places [churches] of the land (Micah 1:3)? The prophet Isaiah also declares the "troddening down" of His vineyard: Isaiah 5:5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down: [6] And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it. Those briars and thorns are those we just read of in Micah 7:4. [7] For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry. ----- So who are you going to put your trust in? Are you going to follow the rising swelling beast system and ultimately become a loyal world citizen under the protection (and control - captivity) of the New World Order? ---- You see, the days are coming when the abomination of desolation, the Assyrian (the false-christ), shall come upon the land and he shall tread and he shall exercise all the power of the first beast, the multi-headed, multi-national, one-world political, social, economic and religious system, i.e. the New World Order. ----- Micah 7:6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house. ----- Our own people, our loved ones of our own household, shall become spiritual adversaries to us because of the zeal they have for Jesus, i.e. the one who shall come and convince them that he is the Messiah. Jesus Christ quoted these very words from the Book of Micah in Matthew chapter 10 letting us know that Micah was indeed speaking of the tribulation of the last days. Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. [36] And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. Yes, it is written that many loved ones shall betray (deliver up) one another to the spurious messiah christ (who they think is Jesus) and shall cause them to be put to death (as in spiritually slain). Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. Knowing that they are in a blind stupor of ignorance (Rom. 11) caused by the famine of these end times, the words of Jesus Christ as He hung on the cross come to mind: Luke 23:34 "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." However, true Christians who know and keep God's commands will not take and eat the poison meat from king Nebuchadnezzar's (a type of false-christ) table when they are brought before him, nor will they drink the wine of fornication (i.e. which causes one to commit spiritual adultery) from the hand of the harlot (Rev. 18:3). As a result they shall be hated of all men for His name's sake but they shall wait upon their God and shall endure and hold fast to that which they have. Mark 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. It is also written in this 13th chapter of Mark (vs. 11) that God's elect are not to premeditate about what they shall say when they are delivered up, for the Holy Spirit shall speak through them and they shall proclaim His Word's as they are instructed and given utterance by Him after the example set forth by the Holy Spirit on that first Pentecost Day following the resurrection. Who should you therefore put your trust in? Who should you look to during the time of perplexity and confusion among nations? It is written that Satan the "son of perdition" will stand in the holy place and claim to be God, Jesus Christ, the Messiah returned, and it is also written that he will perform great signs and wonders in the sight of men (2 Thes. 2:4-9), like calling fire (lightening) down from heaven (Rev. 13:13), to show forth his "supernatural credentials" and thereby deceive the whole world (except for God's elect). Most of our brothers and sisters will believe the true Jesus Christ has returned, though it will be Satan, the false messiah, and they will want you to believe in him too!----- So the pressure will be put on you, and the spiritual heat of the fiery furnace will be stoked seven times hotter than it is wont to be right now. Micah 7:5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. Use wisdom and prudence and trust only in the true Lord thy God and wait on Him. Trust not what a friend tells you, or a family member, or a church leader (pastor), or even your wife. Stay in His Word, the Bible, and keep His way! ----- Psalm 37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. Micah 7:7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. -----[Are you one of God's elect?] ----- If so, what is it God will hear you say? ----- "Save me?" ----- No! ----- [Pay attention to the rest of this study because if you are one of His elect you love mercy and you SERVE HIM and you ask for and receive that which furthers that service (work), knowing that your salvation is sure in Him, the real Jesus!] ----- You see, to God's elect the salvation of their families, their brothers and sisters, is actually more important to them and weighs on their minds more heavily than saving their own necks.----- Have you ever read the Book of Jonah?----- By the way, those spiritual "walls" of that great city will come down after the same manner as the physical walls of Jericho came tumbling down. --- In other words, when the seven priests (God's 7,000 elect, the seven shepherds) march around the city and "blow the trumpets", if you understand the analogy. Joshua 6:13 And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; [but the reward came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.] ----- [Now notice what happens at that day, the last day, at the sound of the 7th Trump:] --- Joshua 6:16 And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city. ----- [[Joshua is the same as "Yeshua" in Hebrew and he was a type of the savior leading his people into the promised land just as Jesus leads us.]] Joshua 6:20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall of Jericho fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. ----- I've got news for you! ----- Good News! ----- God's elect are busy right now "marching and blowing the trumpets" and we are soon taking over "Babylon the Great, that great city, Mystery Babylon, the Mother of Harlots (Rev. 17:5, 18)", for we are going to bring her walls down and the mountain of the house of Lord shall be established in her stead. Yes, at the sound of the last trump!--- Looks like the blowing of the trumpet by the priests, God's elect, does some good, doesn't it? --- Here is the shout at the last trump (i.e. the 7th trump just as it was in the time of Joshua) when Christ returns. ----- 1 Thes. 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: ----- The Assyrian and his beastly friends are not going to like the shout of God's people, are they? ----- Let us return to Micah. Micah 7:12 In that day also he* shall come [read "come home"] even to thee from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain. * This should read "they" as is "thine exiles". See the note on this verse in the Companion Bible. ----- This is the future gathering back of His people, those "exiles" (pro-claiming Christians who bowed a knee to Satan when he came as the spurious messiah) taken in the great captivity of the Assyrian (the false-christ) in these last days. They shall come out of the fortified cities, i.e. bondage also symbolized by Egypt, and gather unto Him, the real Christ. --- That is really good news!--- But first (which is what "notwithstanding" means in the next verse) the desolator, that death angel (of spiritual death), i.e. Satan, shall come upon the land and make it spiritually desolate. Do you remember "Why" from the very first chapter of this great Book of Micah? [13] Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings. The fruit of their doings is all the injustice and perversion, etc., which we have read about in this book of Micah. It is the fruit, very bad fruit, which is produced by straying from the Word of God and following the traditions of men, which is the "Sin of Samaria", remember? Micah 1:5 For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem? The corruption and profaning of the high places all stem from that "woman", the mother of harlots, which is that great city of Jerusalem. Rev. 17:18 "And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth." Knowing that the desolation must take place, Micah offers up the following prayer in the next verse. Dr. Bullinger notes that there is an Ellipsis (implied but missing word or words) to be supplied at the beginning of this verse, which is "Then Micah prayed, and said: O Yahveh..." Micah 7:14 ... Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old. This prayer from Micah to the LORD is for Him to come feed (which means "shepherd") His people, the flock of His heritage, and lead them to "green pastures", which is symbolic of His truth, the Word of God.----- Then in vss. 15-17 below, the LORD answers this prayer and declares that He surely will, i.e. come again. ----- Also, it should be pointed out that the phrase "As in the days of old" documents that this verse speaks of a yet future time and does not refer to the days of Micah when Israel was in possession of Bashan and Gilead. ----- Micah now continues with more of the Good News, a promise from our heavenly Father: ---- Micah 7:15 According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things. Again, this is our Father's response to Micah's prayer and His remedy (redemption) to the captivity and calamity of His people in these last days. And if you think the "marvellous things" He performed when he brought our forefathers out of Egypt were something, you "ain't seen nothin' yet". This will really be something to behold when the Lord redeems His people Israel. ----- [16] The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. The nations SHALL SEE and they shall be "confounded", which means they will be utterly ashamed. Remember earlier, in chapter 5, we learned that it is God's elect, those Seven Shepherds (even "eight principal men" meaning plumb full of oil, whose "cups runneth over", i.e. anointed ones), whom He shall raise up to "take a stand" against Satan and "waste the land of Assyria with the sword (the Word of God)"? Micah 5:5 And this Man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men. As we noted in our study of chapter five, this "Man" is Yeshua, the Great Shepherd, leading the seven shepherds, God's elect, to do His will, like blowing the trumpets! [6] And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders. ----- Perhaps now would be a good time to re-read the 23rd Psalm, the prayer of the elect, of those whose heads are anointed with "oil" so much so that their "cups runneth over" and who already feed in the luscious green pastures of His Word. ----- They are those who are already shepherded by the LORD, the Great Shepherd, (so they shall not want, i.e. "chacer" in Hebrew, which means to "fail" or "decrease" as in "make lower" or "back off") for they are those "principaled men" who shall take that stand against the Assyrian! You see, those "anointed ones" have no fear of evil (i.e. of the evil one, the Assyrian, nor of His fiery darts) as they walk through the shadow (the darkness) in this once plush valley where now lie the spiritually dry bones of His people who have been spiritually slain by the Assyrian. Goodness (spiritual richness and bountiful blessings) and mercy ("checed" in Hebrew meaning "favour", "good deeds/works", "loving kindness") shall follow them all the days of their (anointed) lives! ----- Why? ----- Because they will bring forth the Word of God, i.e. carry the Light forth in the darkness, and breathe (teach) His life giving Spirit (His Word) upon those dry bones in the valley of (spiritual) death and those famished, thirsty, dry bones made desolate by the evil one and his ways, shall come alive (spiritually) and return unto the Father (Ezk. 37)! ----- And so it is that God's elect, those dragon kickin", serpent stompin', Swordfighters, shall dwell forevermore in the house of the LORD which shall be established on Mount Zion (Micah 4)! -----Go bruisers! Go!----- And when that takes place, the nations who committed fornication with the great harlot shall lower themselves in humility and subjection to the King of kings and Lord of lords. Romans 14:11 "For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God." Micah 7:17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee. "To lick the dust like a serpent" is a statement of degradation or debasement in Hebrew. Therefore as Micah states in verse one of this seventh chapter, they better not rejoice and gloat at the tribulation of His people during their time of trouble, for their day is soon coming! ----- What a great plan our Father has to bring His children back to Him with a mighty hand! --- Yes,there is a negative side to His plan but there is great purpose in the calamity, and that is so that when He delivers and brings forth His children ALL peoples and nations and tongues shall know that He alone, the great "I AM", is Lord over all the earth and there is NONE OTHER like unto Him! [18]Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will put a stop to the chastisement (in fact He has evened shortened the length of Satan's reign - Mat. 24:22) and He will redeem His people and restore to them the inheritance He promised to Abraham. Who is like unto Him? There is no one so just and merciful as He and there is none other who can forgive us of our transgressions. You see, our Father wants to be merciful to His children for it is His desire that ALL should come to repentance (2 Pet. 3:9). [19] He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. He will "turn again" means He will "return" and He will fulfill ALL of His promises! ALL of them! [20] Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old. Jesus Christ quoted from this great Book of Micah in Luke 12:53 and so did Dr. Luke in Luke 1:72-73 where he speaks of the horn of our salvation, Jesus Christ, who would come and redeem His people and fulfill all of the terms of His holy covenant which He made unconditionally to our father Abraham. Luke 1:68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, [69] And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; [70] As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: [71] That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; Jesus Christ is the Savior and the Light unto this world of darkness! These next verses are taken from the last verse in the great Book of Micah. [72] To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; [73] The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, ----- Are you familiar with the holy covenant which the Lord God "sware to our father Abraham"? ----- Luke sums it up for us: [74] That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, [75] In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. He promised us deliverance and eternal life, to inherit the land which He showed unto our fathers and to dwell safely in the House of the LORD for ever, i.e. all the days of our life. ----- Do you serve Him? ----- There is NONE "Who is like Yahveh". His Word is true and the Good News of His promises are as SURE as the sun rises in the east and settles in the west! Let Him be your Shepherd and you shall not "want"! ----- Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. --- AMEN  

Amos has told us that the 10 tribes of the house of Israel, which are headed today by the largest nation of those tribes, the United States of America, are not exempt from God's wrath in the Valley of Jehoshaphat, and that they are also in big trouble with the Lord on His Day. Yes, we as nation have forgotten the God who unconditionally promised our father Abraham and confirmed through Isaac and Jacob that He would give us all that we needed in this great land "from sea to shining sea". And the birthright nations of Ephraim and Manasseh, England and America the Beautiful respectively, were to be the standard bearers of Christianity and we were to "Proclaim LIBERTY (not enslavement) throughout ALL the land and unto the inhabitants thereof". Those underlined words are taken directly from Leviticus 25:10 and are inscribed on America's Liberty Bell and relate to the jubilee year which also concerns ECONOMIC FREEDOM! Here is a question for you to consider: "How many church going Christians in America do you think have heard and understood these words contained in the Book of Amos, words that the LORD has specifically spoken unto them?" Listen to words of Amos, the "herdman", because MANY, in fact MOST, of the shepherds of the churches of our land do NOT teach the prophets to our Christian brothers and sisters! Yes, many, many Christians have faithfully gone to their churches for decades and have NEVER even read the Minor Prophets, much less studied them line by line. They are what Paul calls "babes", i.e. Baby Christians, which are "spiritually" what most of the Baby Boomers have remained. Here is Paul's incredulous admonition to the churchgoers of our land: Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.

Do you realize what this verse tells us? It says that EVERYTHING that is "going down" in this final generation is WRITTEN IN THE PROPHETS, revealed through them unto to those who love the Lord! That's right! There is Nothing that the Lord GOD is going to do that is LEFT OUT of the prophets!

Now let's stop and consider that Amos' vision historically speaking was for the period two years before the great earthquake of Uzziah which we have shown from Zech. 14 is prophetic of that great earthquake two years "before the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee (Zech. 14:5)." Therefore this Book of Amos changes from prophecy to current events before the sound of the 6th trumpet when Satan is cast out of heaven.  How up to date are you on current events? Jesus said "Take Heed" as in stop, look, and listen, five times in Mark 13 concerning the events of these last days.

God's people of the house of Israel (THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) are basically well fed and have plenty to drink in this country and yet while they gather food for the homeless and needy (a good work for sure), they themselves are starving and dying of thirst, NOT for bread or for water, but of HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD! Are you able to help any of them, to feed them bread and meat from His Word, or give them to drink from His well of Living Water, or even just show them where the plumbline is? Amos tells us how many Christians are wandering from one church to another today, and not finding the truth from the Word of God taught.
It is just remarkable that Amos was shown by God thousands of years ago the curses (pestilences) of our day, which are those societal scourges, all the (fat cat) political and judicial injustices and the economic oppression through an usurious monetary system, using tipped balances, which is likened to the captivity (call it slavery) of the taskmasters of Egypt. And let us not forget to mention the corrupt leadership of the churches and the rejection of truth by the Amaziahs of Churchianity, for it precisely because of the famine of these last days that we as nation have incurred such pestilences. That's right, it is written that such curses, which again are the famines and pestilences, etc., of Mat. 24 and Mark 13, would come upon us as a RESULT of not studying and adhering to the Word of God, which is His Voice. "Well", you say, "if our Christian brothers and sisters are not listening to His Voice, then whose voice are they listening to?" Hey, you're starting to understand the sin of Samaria!!

No, there is nothing new under the sun. The curses Amos saw in our day were "promised" long, long ago (as we reckon time) to come upon us IF we listened and hearkened to men's voices instead of the Voice of the LORD thy God. Here is what our Father said would happen if we were drawn away from His Word:

Deut. 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

The curses (pestilences) always follow "famine and thirst" which hopefully you have learned is for truth from His Word. He even promised back then to send a nation to afflict us and consume our productivity and oppress our people. And it has come to pass exactly as He said it would and Amos saw how bad things had become in our day. Therefore KNOW THIS and know it well. If you listen to preachers, teachers, pastors, politicians, popes, priests, elders or anybody else without CHECKING them out in God's Word, the probability that you are being fed and therefore eating bad fruit is humongous. Don't you know your very soul depends on it? Christians are so worried about suffering a little pain in the flesh that they listen to unscriptural, unfounded "fly away" stories, while they ignore His Word, which means they have FORSAKEN HIM and refused to listen to His Voice.

Do you want to be in that blessed Kingdom with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob and your loved ones who have passed on in the Lord? He has given you a choice. Now it is up to you.

You can go to church (Bethel) regularly for years and years and more years and still be slaughtered with the majority in the spiritual warfare. You can set up altars all day and all night, such as at Gilgal, and you can make covenants all the way to Beer-sheba, but unless in these latter days you seek the LORD thy God through His Word, not man's, with all your heart and all your soul, your little old church isn't going to do you a bit of good on that Day! Perhaps you are a faithful church goer, so again the question to you is: "Will Bethel, your church and all the wonderful works done there in the name of Christ, help you during the great tribulation? How wise a virgin are you? Do you "Seek Him" or do you "Seek Bethel"? Are you a Christ-man or are you a Church-man? You see, it doesn't matter what some preacher may tell you or a movie or book some man produced and left behind may say, you are going to go through the tribulation of Satan, the false-christ, either as a protected witness for Jesus Christ, with your feet firmly planted in the field, or as a "witless" for the spurious messiah with your head somewhere in the clouds! You see, both the wise virgins and the foolish virgins go through the night, the hour of darkness. Haven't you read about them (Mat. 25:1-13)? However, even though we all, the good, the bad, and the ugly, go through the tribulation of Satan, those who seek the Lord in these latter days and are obedient to His Voice, which is His Word, have nothing to fear. For as it is written in Rev. 9 that only those who have NOT the seal of God in their foreheads shall be harmed (spiritually slaughtered by the king of Babylon, Satan, when he comes to earth as the false-christ). And yet the truth of the matter is, for the benefit of those who desire to escape physical harm in some rapture, that true Christian soldiers do not even fear he who can kill the flesh body. We are all going to shed the flesh and graduate from earth school sooner or later anyway, are we not? Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." It's up to you. He has "set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live (Deut. 30:19)". How do you choose life? Through the Word of Life (1 Jn. 1:1, Phil. 2:6)! Amos 5:6 Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel. Seek not Bethel, (church) O House of Jacob, i.e. the whole natural seed line of Jacob. Seek YHVH, for there is no other that can save you. There is no one in the Beth-els/churches that is able to extinguish His fire. They have become Beth-avens, houses of emptiness, for if His Word is not taught there, then it is an empty house and He is not there. How wise a virgin are you? How do you seek God? What kind of faith do you have? Do you seek Him by going to church or do you diligently seek Him through His Word and hear His voice? It is a hard thing for many people to see how it is that many good church goers in this land have forgotten God. To forget God is to forget His Word, which doesn't mean to forget that it IS the Word of God, but to ignore studying it line by line. Many would rather just go to church, i.e. Seek Bethel! Amos 5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. [22] Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. [23] Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. * Note: There is nothing wrong with songs and music. Our Father loves music and a joyful heart, but if you do not seek Him and instead you wallow in the traditions of men and allow the festering pestilence of liberalism and perverted justice to keep our Liberty Bell silent, that Precious Bell with His Words declaring a Jubilee in the land inscribed right on it, then get ready to sing a sad, sad song! The good news is that those who Seek Him now and are "sealed with His Word" shall overcome the beast of deception and will be singing the victory Song of Moses (Rev. 15) on that day of Christ's return instead of mourning and lamenting. Songs are not what is music to our Father's ears! JUSTICE and the execution of His divine laws with Political Righteousness and NOT Political Correctness are music to His ears! Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. --- The reward to those who Seek Him is Eternal Life... ---... and it doesn't get any better than that!  

Always remember these words of our Father through the herdman, Amos:

Amos 5:4
... Seek ye Me, and ye shall live:

[5] But seek not Bethel... i.e. church

[6] Seek the LORD, and ye shall live;

... lest He break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel. i. e. church

What shall you give to the poor, in order to gain treasure for yourself in heaven?

This is a lesson for all of us, who are currently living here on earth in these animal bodies, to evaluate this flesh and blood life within the proper perspective. Judgment of facts, circumstances, etc. with regard to their importance! See pamphlet #1733 "Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care?" "Turn! Turn! Turn!" Our Father will soon give this "world age" a final spin. It is what happens to you next which is important!

Help! Lord! Help! Get me out of this animal (terrestrial) body and back into my spiritual (celestial) body! --- In Revelation 22:12 You promised to hurry! --- In the book of Revelation Jesus took the apostle John, in the spirit, nearly 2000 years into the future (that is to our 21st century "Generation of the Fig Tree") and showed him what was going on in the Christian churches of today, both the good and the bad things they are doing. Then he took John spiritually into heaven and from there showed him what is and will happen, both there and here on earth, telling him to write it down so that you and I could read it and understand, knowing what to expect and recognize when we see it come to pass. In Rev. 22:12 Jesus said, and, had John write, "behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me,...." When Jesus told John to write down that He would come quickly, He did not mean from when He said it, but, quickly from this 21st century He had taken John to "in the spirit". --- A new spiritual body; That's one reward I can't wait to receive! A new celestial body for all eternity. --- Jesus, I've claimed your precious blood, your shed blood on the cross to cover my sins! Thank you, Lord! But I'm impatient, --- PLEASE COME QUICKLY! I know, I know, When you return at the seventh trump, Satan will have been here already for five months, claiming that he is God. And, I'll still be in this flesh and blood (animal) body Your return will all happen fast, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye I'll be changed into my spiritual body. 1 Cor. 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:...--- I can't stand this waiting around, here in the flesh! Rev. 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. --- Can you even begin to imagine such a society? No more pain and suffering, no more disease and war and death and dying. All the former things, all the evil spirits, all the wicked people, all corruptible flesh are passed away, GONE! --- [5] And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. --- So if it sounds too utopian for the skeptic, or it sounds too good to be true, it isn't. In fact the words of man cannot even begin to describe the beauty and wonder, and yes, even the excitement of all that our Father has planned for His children. Man's words cannot describe it because man's mind cannot imagine it. This we know for it also is written and is true and faithful: --- 1 Cor. 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him --- Rev. 21:6 And He said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. [7] He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
