My Note:  Noah was perfect in his generations Ref. Scripture Genesis 6:9

"Noah was perfect in his generations" means his blood line wasn't contaminated by angels who left their first estate.

Scripture: Genesis 6:9  These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

This was important so God could introduce a savior into the world who was also pure in his generations. The reason Noah's flood took place when it did is because their were only eight persons left on earth, or at least in that part of the world, who were "perfect in their generations". Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives.  The angel's were contaminating the "eight day creation" blood line rapidly.
