"The blind man from Bethsaida!"

Christian, if you are going to get any benefit from reading your Bible, you had better have Christ spit on your eyes like the blind man from Bethsaida!

If Jesus Christ is your Teacher then you are never alone and you will always be able to "clearly see" the correct path to follow. It is by going to Christ and allowing the Word of God to anoint your eyes that you come to know the difference between the Holy and the profane, between the Tree of Life who bears good fruit and leads to life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil whose fruit leads to death!

Mark 8:22-25
And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto Him, and besought Him to touch him.
[23] And He took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when He had spit on his eyes, and put His hands upon him, He asked him if he saw ought.

[24] And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

Christian, do you understand what Christ just did?

He first opened the blind man's spiritual eyes.(Verses 23 and 24)

Then, in verse 25 he restores his physical sight.

[25] After that He put His hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

Has he opened your spiritual eyes?

Do you see the men as trees walking?

If you don't, please pray that the Lord teaches you to "see clearly".

One of the first things a man or woman "sees" when touched by the Word of God are the two trees in the garden, the true Christ (Jesus) and the false Christ (Satan)! The rest are blinded according to Romans 11 and cannot discern the difference between the two Christs! Romans 11:7-8 "What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded [8] (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day."

Do you see?
Trees are used throughout the Bible to symbolize people,
including the children of God, Satan,
Jesus Christ and even God the Father,
who likens Himself to an "evergreen" fir tree in Hosea 14:8.

When the blind man's spiritual eyes were opened he saw men as trees walking!
