Who is God? When we think of God we most often think of Jesus, baby Jesus, who grew into the man we read about in the crucifixion accounts and that is ok. We are to approach Father God through His son Jesus. But, we would do well to also see God as He appeared to the apostle John, when John was taken spiritually into the future to see heaven personally and what goes on there.
John
describes God in Revelation. We'll let you read his account for
yourself: Revelation 1:13
And
in the midst of the
seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment
down to
the foot, and girt
about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like
wool, as white as
snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet
like unto fine brass, as
if they burned in a
furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16 And he had in
his right
hand seven stars:
and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance
was as
the sun shineth in
his strength.
That two-edged sword is the "Word of God", Jesus; What He had the prophets record in Your Bible. You had better learn what He has to say, for He has told us all things! Especially about the "End Time" when Satan comes to earth claiming he is God. Mark 13:23 "But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things."
Jesus is telling us that there will be no excuses when He returns. Why? Because he has told you everything that will happen in His Word. It is written there and given in many different witnesses, If you have refused to study His Word than you have chosen to reject Him. It simply doesn't matter what your preacher says, but what matters is what Christ said. Have you read His Word with understanding?
Our Father, God, is a awesome God. Remember what God told Moses from the burning bush. Read it for yourself. Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
But, what about us? Who are we? Why were we created? When were we created? What type of body did we then have? Where did we first live? Why must we repent of our sins?, Believe in Christ? Ask for His forgiveness? - In order to receive eternal Life!Who are we? We are children of the One True God, created billions of years ago, as spirit beings with spirit (celestial) bodies like His own, before the earth was made. Yes, you and me, we are literally "older then the hills."
Oh, you never heard of such a thing, you say! Well you can stick around and let me completely document this from the Word of God OR you can reject it because you never heard it before and it sounds a little strange to you. It is your choice!.
Why were we created? Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. We were created for God's pleasure. He wanted a family with children to love and who would love Him in return.
How would He know we loved Him if we had no choice but to love Him? Because He created us with "Free Will". We could choose whether or not to love Him.
Wasn't He taking a risk that we might not return His love? Well, He could have created us like robots, programed to love Him, but He found no pleasure in that option. He wanted children who would willingly return His love.
Where did we live? After He created our souls He created this earth for us to live on. At the time it was perfect, a tropical paradise all over the earth all year round.

What happened? It's not that way now! One of our brothers, Lucifer, was given a specialWhat did God do? God, in His fierce anger destroyed that first earth age. The age we now know as "age of the dinosaurs" God ended it with a catastrophic universal world wide flood, Lucifer's Flood, killing all life forms in existence on earth except for us, his children.
Live Link to->>> Lucifer's Flood
What happened to Lucifer.
God sentenced Lucifer to death, in" the lake of
fire", he will be no
more, but, postponed
the carrying out of this death sentence
until after He will use Lucifer to help
him accomplish the
negative part of His plan, and to
provide a way for
as many of us, His
Children, to by our own
free will, prove our love for or rejection of Him.
What was God's plan?
God chose not to destroy us, his children, at that time, even the ones
who
followed Lucifer because He loves us and knew that non of us could
fully realize what the finality of
the death of our soul meant
since no one, up until this time, had ever
experienced the death of their
soul, as in
"cease to exist"
We had seen animals die but non of us, the
children of God had ever died.
God
decreed that all of us would experience life and death.
The only stipulation being,
we had to be born of water, as in born to a flesh and blood woman; live
here on earth for a short time and then die, but only the shadow of
death talked about in the 23rd. Psalm.
Thus, we would all experience the loss of loved ones (physical death). No longer having the ability to communicate with that loved one; Without actually having our soul die (spiritual death).
This would teach us what the loss of our soul means!
What did God do next? He
then restructured the earth to make it livable again. Only
this time, after
wiping our memory clean,
He would place us, one at a time, in our turn,
over a period of time, in
flesh and blood bodies
similar to the bodies of animals which would age
and die. This
serves as a
learning
curve for us to realize the finality of death, when our loved
ones die, in the flesh, and no
longer
are visible to us or allowed to communicate with us that their
soul was still alive.

Where is Lucifer now?
Lucifer who is now called Satan, the son of perdition, the son who will
perish, is still
in heaven, but no longer allowed, at this time, to come to earth in
person without God's
permission or to serve God's purpose.
Note: Satan's spirit is still on earth, influencing those of us that will allow it, in a negative way! Just as God's Holy Spirit is now here, influencing us in a positive way! Yet he is in heaven and has God's ear constantly pointing out all our faults to God.
Live Link to->>> Ezekiel 28
What about those 2/3 of us who remained faithful to our Father, God, when Lucifer rebelled? Many of us, having already proved our loyalty to God, He predestined for special assignments during this flesh age. Duties that will positively affect his future Kingdom. What about the rest of us? Some remained faithful to God in the first earth age, some followed Lucifer/Satan, and a vast majority remained more or less neutral, not making any commitment either way. During this restructuring of the earth God started to replace life on what He calls the fifth day. The actual length of time based on our concept of time, Only God knows, but many people believe based on scripture that a day equals approximately 1000 of our years.
Then on the sixth day God first
brought forth wild animals and reptiles. Then, still on
day six, He
started placing the souls of us, His children, creating mankind, all
the different races, in bodies similar the bodies of
animals.
On the seventh day God rested.
During this time all the races of man continued to replenish the earth
with like kind.
Live Link to->>> The day of rest
What happened next?
Well as God planned from the beginning, He knew we would all fall short
of
the perfection He requires of His children, so He Himself
decided to come to earth as a flesh and
blood son, born through the womb of a pure blood descendant of a race
of people He would create
using souls of loyalists of His, during the first earth age. He as His
flesh and blood son would live a
perfectly sinless life and therefore, qualify as a perfect blood
sacrifice where by all flesh and blood
children could receive eternal life by his grace, if only they believed
in His son, who He named Jesus,
and decreed that through Him their sins be forgiven and forgotten..
So on another day- We'll call it the EIGHTH DAY God formed a new line of humans (Adam), the individual man and his wife, and their pure blood descendants, to be made up of only those of us from the first earth age who stuck by Him during Satan's uprising. God, Himself would come to earth through the womb of a pure blood descendant of this individual man Adam and his wife Eve, who God made from parts of Adam's own body.
Satan, who still thinks he is as powerful as God, intends to corrupt this Adamic line with his ownOver several generations Satan sent others of us who are loyal to him to earth without entering through the womb of flesh woman, to impregnate daughters of Seth's descendants hoping to completely corrupt this new line of humans.
Live Link to->>> What happened after expulsion from the garden
The Situation got so bad that when there were only eight pure blood Adamic descendants left God again decided to destroy all human life, in that part of the world, except for those eight, with a second less devastating flood (Noah's Flood). Even after Noah's flood more of us continued to come to earth without entering through the womb (producing the giant species of man of which Goliath was one).A
pure branch did survive through Abraham and Sarah - Isaac -
Jacob (Israel) and from that line
God came to earth, through the womb of a virgin descendant, in the
person of Jesus Christ, lived a
perfect life, without sin, and became the ultimate sacrifice.
Live Link to->>> From House of Israel to Christian Nations of the World
After
we have all been to earth through the womb Christ will return and we
will all be changed back
into our spirit bodies, memories of our existence in the first earth age
restored. But five months prior
to Christ's return, as part of God's plan to test our belief in
Him, Satan will once again be sent to
earth. He will stand in the temple, in the church, and claim he is
Jesus, God. Wanting people to
worship him.
Live Link to->>> The Sixth Trump
Those of us who really know Christ and are saved will pass the test, waiting for Christ's actual return, endure until the end, won't worship Satan as if he is Christ, will be granted eternal life right at Christ's return (The First Resurrection). Receiving both their incorruptible bodies and immortal souls.
Live Link to->>> Salvation - Saved by grace
Those who have not repented of their sins, not really knowing Christ, who do not wait for the real Christ, but instead worship Satan instead (called the "Walking Dead" in your Bible), will spend the next 1000 years in incorruptible spirit bodies, but still having mortal souls, while Satan is locked up for the full 1000 years unable to influences them, even in spirit. The elect with guidance from Jesus who will be here the whole time will be teaching the walking dead to once and for all time, tell the difference between what is Holy (Jesus) and what is profane (Satan)
Live Link to->>> The Seventh Trump
Note: It would be wise on your part to learn to tell the difference. Now, we're still in this period of grace!
Live Link to->>> Endure til the end
Satan will be locked up for the full 1000 years but, prior to God carrying out his death sentence, he will again, one last time, be left loose for a short while to temp the walking dead. A final test, after 1000 years of summer school, so to speak, since they now have foreknowledge of what death really is and can better choose who to serve. They will then be judged at 'THE GREAT WHITE THRONE OFIf
the answer is; Remained faithful to Christ, the verdict will be Eternal
life, i.e. immotality (be part of
the 2nd. resurrection).
Live Link to->>> The Great White Throne
If
the answer is; followed Satan, yet again, the verdict will be to
perish, with Satan, in the lake of fire
and BE NO MORE! Not even a memory to their loved ones who were saved!
Then
God will have achieved His goal of having children, for all of
eternity, who are pure in heart,
not because He created us without the ability to sin but knowing we
loved Him and chose Him to
purify our hearts from imperfection to perfection, not by His will
alone, but by our own free will.
We
will spend eternity here in a new heaven and a new earth (the third
heaven and earth age) in
spirit bodies, like our Father's and we will be His family and He will
be our Father and our God.

Whan John was taken to
heaven, in the spirit
He determined we, the rest of us, needed to learn a lesson about life and permanency of the death of our soul. What is really Holy, versus what is profane, and He needed to provide a way for us to salvage our souls by choosing, after learning this lesson, of our own free will, to remain faithful to Him or again follow Satan. To accomplish this, He decided not to carry out Satan's death sentence just yet and He chose to put us back on earth one at a time, in our turn, to be born of a woman who he created in a animal type body, as "Sons of Man" and while here as flesh man, if and when we accept Christ, who is God's only begotten Son, as our Lord and savior we will again be adopted as "SONS OF GOD".
One thing I've seen and learned since that prayer several years ago is that Peter is right when he asserts that their was a previous earth age to this one we now live in, Therefore, I am no longer a scoffer as Peter called us in 2 Peter 3:3 when he was referring to the three earth ages.Of course, flesh and blood cannot literally enter the kingdom of God. You must first be born back into your celestial bodies when this flesh and blood life ends and we are no longer in our terrestrial bodies.John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
He goes on to say that unless you are back into a spiritual body, you cannot literally enter into the kingdom of God. You can be saved, by repentance and claiming the blood of Christ to cover your sins, but you must at the death of your flesh body, or at Christ's return, (which ever happens first) be reborn into a new spiritual (celestial) body to literally enter Christ's kingdom.1 Cor. 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
1 Cor. 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Ezekiel, use your spiritual eyes to see, and your spiritual ears to hear, and understand with your spiritual mind to discern what I am about to show you!
IF YOU MISS this verse, and the profound spiritual significance of verse 5, the rest of the Book of Ezekiel will be little more than a description of a temple building and a city. 1 Cor. 2:14 " But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

Question: Do you believe the Millennial temple described here in Ezekiel is going to be a physical building, as in a structure, made of bricks and mortar? I rather think all the things we are told in the rest of Ezekiel are a vision Ezekiel sees of a temple our Lord has him describe in physical terminology to help us see into that spiritual dimension. Remember, the true temple is Christ; not a building made of bricks and mortar!
Now notice the very first thing Ezekiel SEES... behold a WALL round about the Temple.
There will be a WALL around the Temple (that true temple being Christ) all during the Millennium. We know that the Glory of God is returning to the temple, even Jesus Christ, but the "spiritually dead" cannot partake of that "Tree of Life" until after the 1000 years is finished. Thus, there will be a "wall" or barrier between them and Christ (See Ezek. 43:8 now or wait until we get there). In other words, those who were not part of the first resurrection cannot approach Christ and receive eternal life until the time of second resurrection, the Great White Throne Judgment.[5] And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about,...
Notice also in Ezek. 43:7 that there will be no more defiling of God's House, nor idolatrous religious practices, nor worshipping of earthly kings, especially that abominable one! Jesus Christ shall RULE with a rod of iron as it is written in Rev. 12:5 & 19:15.
Here's what they did before:
They (i.e. our ancestors, the ancient Israelites) set up God's house their "own" way, "arranging" things with the traditions of men in place of God's Word, and they led everyone to worship the "abominable desolator", the false-christ, instead of the true Messiah (still do in many/most of our Christian churches of today). Christ is going to put an end to it once and for all at the sound of the 7th Trump, that Day of God's Wrath.Ezekiel 43:8
In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.
Have you ever known an alcoholic or an addicted person or heard him (or her) describe the day he "hit bottom" and came face to face with the reality of his condition and how ashamed he was of his actions and the hurt he caused to many of his loved ones? It is perhaps a fitting analogy to the "shame" that many of us will feel on the day we "hit bottom" and come face to face with the Lord Jesus Christ and realize that we have been nothing but a bunch of WHORES! For many of us, our shame will be so great that we will try to hide in the dens and rocks and would rather the mountains fall on us, than have to face Him.[9] Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
Right now, during this dispensation of grace, when many do not even believe that God exists, all who WILL can approach Christ and enter the Holy of Holies, but during the Millennium that will not be the case. For everyone SHALL KNOW that He is Lord, for they shall see His Glory, but they must "learn" and "want" of their own free will to follow Him and His ways and not Satan and his ways. They will have NO CHOICE but to learn and follow His ways during the Millennium. (That's where we will see the Zadok and the saints of the 1st Resurrection come in.) After that, Satan will be released for a short season when they can PROVE on their own whether they still want to or not! THEN... the judgment!
Let's complete verse 5.
[verse 5... continued] and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.
1. The hand of God came upon Ezekiel and took him in "visions" to "eretz Israel", the land of Israel, and set him upon the "north side" of the highest mountain where he was looking south. Now I realize not everyone of us is going to be given eyes to see these things. That is for our own protection so that we can not commit the unforgivable sin. That is why Jesus always taught in parables. So that some who really wanted to see and understand could learn and see clearly the meaning of His parables and others would not be able to comprehend them.2. He was then taken to the temple where a celestial being was waiting with measuring tools to be his spiritual instructor and SIZE-UP the temple for his understanding.
3. The angel then told Ezekiel to get his eyes and ears open and discern what he is about to be shown, then teach it to the house of Israel.
4. Then, the first thing Ezekiel was shown was a WALL outside the temple.
5. Ezekiel, now with his eyes open, saw that the measuring reed used by the angel was one seventh larger than usual and the wall was one reed by one reed.
Open your SPIRITUAL EYES and SEE what is to be learned in the rest of this book of EZEKIEL!
The physical descriptions are only used to help you see the spiritual significance of what is being taught.I REPEAT
The physical descriptions are only used to help you see the spiritual significance of what is being taught.
Consider therefore the following question posed by His disciples who came to Him:
[10] And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
You "see", they have much to do with the "stupor" God has allowed to be placed over the eyes of those who hear but have not the sincere desire to take action and seek Him for wisdom and understanding.
Paul documents this for us in Romans chapter 11 where he quotes from the same passage in Isaiah Christ will refer to a few verses hence.
Romans 11:8
(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
"Whomsoever will" must wake up and take action and go to Him...for only Jesus Christ, the Word of God, can heal their deafness and heal their blindness.
If you do, then the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven shall be opened unto you!
Otherwise, you can just continue to suffer in ignorance and stumble in darkness.
Matthew 13:11
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you (my disciples) to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. (Are you one of his disciples or one of the multitudes?)
Did you know that Jesus Christ gave the brotherhood, His family, the key of David (Rev. 3:7) to open and unlock the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, even those "mysteries" which are contained in the eight parables spoken in this 13th chapter of Matthew.
You were already told how to become part of that family, that brotherhood, in Matthew 12:50: "For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."
That does not mean that God does not love those who do not seek Him to do His will.
On the contrary, it is precisely because He does love them that He speaks to them in parables, lest they should see and hear and become accountable to the point they could commit the unpardonable sin, the penalty of which is to follow the son of perdition into the lake of fire.
Matthew 13:12
For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Remember the subject is sowing the Word of God and the "whosoever" are those who have ears to hear and sow that Word!
That one shall reap the abundant blessings of God for bringing forth fruit for the harvest, not to mentioned that he or she will be as overjoyed and excited as the Queen of Sheba for seeking the wisdom of God.
Remember to what great lengths she went to seeking the wisdom God had bestowed upon Solomon?
Those who do not make and are not willing to make that journey shall lose out on the abundant blessings of the first resurrection (Rev. 20:6).
[13]Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
In other words, the "seed" either falls upon deaf ears and does not germinate, or it germinates but quickly withers away in the "heat" of things because it has no root, or the ears that could hear are just too busy "takin' care of business" to be bothered with studying Father's Word.
The following verses quoted from the Book of Isaiah (6:9-10) explain why it is God has placed that spirit of slumber upon them by speaking to them in parables which the blind cannot perceive.
[14] And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
To that end, this next verse explains why they do not have those eyes to see and ears to hear.
[15] For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
This is the "heart of the problem" in that their hearts (minds) are "waxed gross" which is akin to Ps. 95:8 where we read of our forefathers who "hardened their hearts".
However, should they have a change of heart and be converted (which means to "turn about", i.e. turn to Him) then He will heal their deaf ears and open their spiritually blind eyes to the truth!
Again, it cannot be emphasized enough that it is because of the love our Father has for His children that He has allowed their eyes to be glazed over whereby the spirit of slumber (stupor) has come over them.
However, the eyes of those who do "see" and the ears of those who do "hear" shall be blessed indeed.
Do you want to be blessed?
[16] But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
[17] For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
Many prophets and righteous men have desired to "see" Christ and "hear" His voice.
The prophets all wrote of Him and foretold of His coming and desired to see Him and understand the things He has revealed unto us here in the 21st. century.
Take the prophet Daniel for example: Daniel 12:8-9 "And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? [9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end."
However, in the time of the end, the "wise" shall understand (Dan. 12:10).
And now with the understanding of the importance and knowing what it takes to have ears to hear, are you ready to "hear" Christ explain the simplicity of the parable of the sower?Matthew 13:18
Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
[19] When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
The wayside are people who listen to Satan's doubters and are caught away by the "birds of prey".
Matthew 13:4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up.[20] But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;[21] Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
Note: Look up the Greek word translated "offended" (skandalizo) and you will find it means to "stumble", as in fall in the great apostasy.
Matthew 13:5-6 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: [6] And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
[22] He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
Matthew 13:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them.
My, this is real hard stuff, isn't it?!!!
[23] But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Matthew 13:8-9 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. [9] Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
And there is no emphasis on the amount of fruit that you must bring forth, only that you do so, for you "see" it is the seed itself that grows and produces fruit and that is how you become blessed.
Unfortunately some teach that "sowing seeds" means you write big checks to their ministry and God will bless you for it.
More unfortunately than that, many of our spiritually blind and deaf brothers and sisters believe that what they say is true and are taken across by these charlatans.
Don't be a foolish virgin.
Today, this same day, open your eyes and put your ears on and listen to His voice and then you won't be a fooled by thieves and wolves who come to you in sheep's clothing claiming God's Word says this or that!
Always go to Him and let the Word of God interpret itself for the true Shepherd will never lead you astray.
Mark 4:10 And when He was alone, they that were about Him with the twelve asked of Him the parable.
[11] And He said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
His answer was twofold:
Mat. 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
(1) To simplify and make easy to understand the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven to His disciples.(2) To hide the mysteries of the kingdom to those who do not seek Him and do not have eyes to see nor ears to hear.
Here are Christ's own words:
Mark 4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
[13] And He said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
You
see, the Parable of the
Sower has to do with "seeds"
and
"planting" and "fruit",
etc.,
all of which we shall
be discussing in our study of the Parable of the Fig Tree
which
actually begins in
the "Fig Grove",
in
the Garden of God called
Eden,
where
the first "sowings"
took place
and
the "cover-up" by the
fig leaves themselves
have
kept hidden what really
happened in that grove.
Do you know?
Let
us therefore go to the parable of the sowing in the beginning
and
learn the truth from the words of Jesus Christ Himself.
You see, not all seeds were planted by God.
This is John, again. Now I know I'm not the smartest guy in the world but I'm smart enough to know that the reason Adam and Eve knew they were naked after they sinned in the garden wasn't because they literally ate an apple they weren't suppose to eat. They took fig leaves to cover their nakedness and then God made them aprons. These surely weren't little bitty aprons to cover their mouths because they ate bad apples.
"The
Parable of the Tares"
This
parable is about a different sower!
Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
[25] But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
We
need to know and understand
the horticulture of "tares"
which
is zizanion (dziz-an'-ee-on)
in Greek (#2215) and means "darnel" or false grain :- tares.
Here is Dr. Smith's explanation:
Tares: A noxious plant, of the grass family, supposed to mean the darnel. It grows among the wheat everywhere in Palestine, and bears a great resemblance to it while growing - so closely that, before they head out, the two plants can hardly be distinguished. The grains are found, 2 or 3 together, in 12 small husks, scattered on a rather long head. The Arabs do not separate the darnel from the wheat, unless by means of a fan or sieve, after threshing (Mat. 13:25-30). If left to mingle with the bread, it occasions dizziness, and often acts as an emetic. ("Smith's Bible Dictionary", A. J. Holman Company, pg. 301.)[26] But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
The bearded darnel (Lolium temulentum) is a poisonous grass, almost indistinguishable from wheat while the two are only in blade, but which can be separated without difficulty when they come into ear (cp. mat. 13:29, 20). ("Davis Bible Dictionary", Baker Book House, pg. 759.)
This
is important to our understanding of the parable of the fig tree [Pamphlet
#1031],
which
Christ told us we must learn in Mark 13:28,
very important!
[27] So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
You could call them anti-wheats!
[28] He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
Should we go round those suckers up?
[29] But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
[30] Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Editor's Note: This sure proves "The Rapture Theory" to be false,
DOES IT NOT? Live Link to- The Rapture Theory
We are about to learn the mystery.
You
see, what we have just
read from Mat. 13:24-30 is an actual parable,
which
is a truth expressed
in similitude using symbols
with
characteristics analogous
to something else.
Next,
notice again the emphasis
on the fact
that
Jesus Christ spoke
unto the multitudes in parables.
In fact, He didn't speak anything to them that was not in parable form.
This is a quote and a fulfillment of Ps. 78:2:Matthew 13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:[35] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
Psalm 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
Do you understand that the multitudes do not understand it?
They cannot tell the difference between tares and wheat in the field!
Now notice what happened next.
Jesus
sent everyone away
and went into the house,
but
those eager-to-know-His-Word
disciples followed Him
and
ASKED HIM to "explain
the parable of the tares of the field"!
[36] Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
Therefore, what you are about to read is NOT A PARABLE!
It
is the simple EXPLANATION of the parable by Jesus Christ
to
His disciples who want to KNOW the parable of the tares.
[37] He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
It was God Himself who placed the "good seed" in the field.
What is the field?
[38] The field is the world;
What or who are the "good seed"?
[38 cont.] ... the good seed are the children of the kingdom;
You MUST understand that Christ is giving an explanation here of the parable.
It is not a continuation of the parable nor is it a parable of the parable.
The
"good seed" is simply
symbolic terminology for His children
which
should not be a complicated
thing to understand at all.
He formed Adam and Eve and placed them in the garden!
It
is that simple and any
attempt to "spiritualize" it into something other than what Christ just
said
is
to change His explanation.
In other words "children" means "children" as in offspring.
[38 cont.] ... but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
This
is where we separate the men from the boys
or
you might say the tares from the wheat.
It
seems that many are willing to accept that the "good seed"
are
the children of the kingdom but that the "tares", the "bad seed",
are
not really the children "of" the wicked one, the devil himself.
Let
us see and read from Christ's own words who it was that "sowed his wild
oats"
and
produced these tares, which we now know are also children (real people).
[39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil;
Is
Jesus Christ saying that Satan actually has progeny "of" his own,
as
in his own offspring?
Yes, that is EXACTLY what He is saying.
It is time to wake up, Christian!
The hour is late and harvest time is nigh indeed!
What is harvest time anyway?
[38 cont.] ... the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
They shall be "burned in the fire" at the end of this world age.
[40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.[41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
[42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
[43] Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
It
is the foundation and
the beginning of wisdom
in
learning the Parable
of the Fig Tree
and
therefore we are going
to cast out the traditions of men
which
have for so long obscured
the truth of God's Word
and
we are going to learn
what REALLY happened in the fig grove in the midst of the Garden of God!
Keep in mind
that what you
are about to read and hear
may
be so completely different
than this illustrated "tradition"
handed
down by the churches
for many generations that it might "set you on your heels".
One of Satan's most effective and
subtle tools in covering
up the truth of God's Word
is to take that which is expressed
figuratively
and cause people to take it literally, and
vice versa.
And since it is of such extreme
importance to understand
what happened in the beginning of any book
in order to place that which follows in
proper context,
you can be certain that Satan has worked real
hard
on the first few chapters of God's Word
to make sure it is
misunderstood thereby throwing
people off track,
by covering up his own
tracks from the
very start.
In other words (and never forget this):
If you do not know what really happened in the first few chapters of Genesis
and especially in garden of Eden
you will never truly understand the rest of God's Word.
That
is why we have come to the
Book of Genesis in order that we might understand the sowing of the
"seeds",
both
the good and the bad,
so that
we might then be able to
understand the Parable of the Fig Tree
for it
requires this understanding
as background.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words", so let us "see" a visual of the typical "fairy tale" Satan would have the "little children" believe happened in the garden:
The narrative at the bottom of the picture reads:
"Adam and Eve were told by God not to eat apples from a certain tree in the garden. An evil serpent tempted Eve and she and Adam both ate the forbidden fruit. Because they disobeyed God, they were forced to leave the Garden of Eden."
It is an image created by "that
old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan,
which
deceiveth the whole world
(Rev. 12:9)" to keep you in darkness,
from learning the truth.
We intend to shed the "light" on this "snake" and expose him as the liar and fraud that he is.
Keep in mind that what you are about to read and hear may be so completely different than this illustrated "tradition" handed down by the churches for many generations that it might "set you on your heels", which is a figure of speech meaning it might astound you.
So do not say I didn't warn you!
Of course, if you are willing to
believe fairy tales like
the one in this picture
then perhaps you can believe some reality
and truth which
may appear stranger than fiction.
Go for it!
First of all, would it surprise you to know that the word "apple" is not even mentioned anywhere in the Book of Genesis?
Check it out for yourself.
You
see, Satan wants you to believe that the "forbidden fruit"
Adam
and Eve partook of was literal fruit just like an apple.
Figures of speech are so
overlooked in God's Word
that I'm sure if we were to read in the
New Testament
that the apostle Paul "got into hot water"
that there would be churches teaching that
in order to
be in good standing
among their members you would have to "get
into hot water"
yourself.
Of course there would be division
and disagreement among
the denominations and "scholars"
as to what temperature actually
constitutes "hot" as
opposed to just "warm"
and how much hot water a person should
actually get into,
i.e. should one step into hot water just
up to his knees
or waist or should one become totally immersed in hot water.
And if you looked up the word "water" in any Greek dictionary it would certainly mean H2O, like rain.
Yet the phrase he "got into hot water" has absolutely nothing to do with water!
It is a figure of speech which means he "got into trouble"!
Maybe this hot water scenario
sounded a bit ridiculous
to you
but you should just see some of the
ludicrous things
churches teach
and have their people do because of their
ignorance of
His Word.
Do you not think Satan would be
laughing his fool head
off at watching Christians getting into pools of "hot water"?
He is laughing his fool head off at Christians who think Eve was deceived by a snake who talked her into eating an apple from a fruit tree!
Good grief Charlie Brown!
You see, the word "serpent" is
simply one of the symbolic
names of Satan
that describes him according to his
low-life character.
He is also called the dragon, the little horn, the vile person, the son of perdition, the Devil, Satan, Lucifer, the morning star (Isa. 14), etc.
Spiritually speaking, he is a "snake" alright!
He is a sneaky, no-good, low-down, yellow-bellied, lying, conniving "serpent"!
Rev. 20:2 "And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years."
But you know what?
He is also the most beautiful and charismatic individual you will ever encounter, a charming one indeed!
You can read all about this highly intelligent glistening one, "perfect in beauty", in the 28th chapter of Ezekiel.
He does not look like this:
Ok, then what about the fruit and the trees?
They are also symbolic.
Trees are used throughout the scriptures, from Genesis to Revelation, to symbolize people.
God's
elect are called "Cedars of
Lebanon" because the roots of the cedar go as deep as the tree is tall
and
therefore those trees cannot
be easily shaken or uprooted.
Jesus Christ is symbolized by the "Tree of Life" and the Vine, the branches of which bring forth good fruit.
And
as we shall see, Satan is symbolized
by the "Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil"
and he
and his branches bring forth
corrupt and evil fruit which we are NOT to EAT.
And so depending on what kind of "tree" you are determines what kind of fruit you produce.
Here are words of Jesus Christ:
Luke 6:43
For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
However, people do!
[44] For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
Where should you get your fruit?
Here is what your Father says:
Hosea 14:8
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
God even likens Himself to a tree, an evergreen fir symbolic of eternal life!
You are to get your fruit from Him and from His Word (Your Bible) and from NO ONE ELSE, no other tree (person, preacher. whatever!))!
[9] Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
Are you wise, or do you believe in fairy tales about snakes and apples?
Let's go to Genesis and see what happened in the garden.
Genesis 3:1
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
So the PICTURE you now need to
place in your mind is one
of a very smart, good looking,
handsome young man who is very, very
charming and likeable
and intelligent and well spoken.
Got it?
That old serpent has perpetuated a lie, a tradition, about the "snake" and the "apple" long enough.
Do not let him have the victory any more!
Again,
it is his diabolical plan to deceive a Biblically ignorant people,
"because
it ministers to the acceptance of his lie, the hiding of God's truth,
the
jeers of the infidel, the opposition of the critics, and the stumbling
of the weak in faith." (Companion Bible, appendix
19, last paragraph.)

By the way, the apostle Paul also refers to this "serpent" in the garden in 2 Cor. 11:3:
2 Cor. 11:3
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
serpent = –öéò ophis of'-is Strong's #3789
Probably from G3700 (through the idea of sharpness of vision); a snake, figuratively (as a type of sly cunning) an artful malicious person, especially Satan:—serpent.
Let's repeat Gen. 3:1.
Genesis 3:1
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
God told Adam that he could freely eat of every tree of the Garden.
See what a subtle twist this is, from a positive to a doubtful questionable negative?
Genesis 2:16
And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
[17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Ezekiel 31:3
Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.
[4] The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.
They made this tree great!
[5] Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.
[6] All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.
Of course not!
And the fowls of heaven are those "dirty birds" which we will learn more about in our study of the fig tree parable.
[7] Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.
In
Ezek. 28 you will find that Satan,
called the king of Tyre,
wore
those same stones on his breastplate
in the first earth age (before his rebellion)
and
walked up and down in the midst
of them (called the stones of fire.
God is a consuming fire (Heb. 12:29).
[8] The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chesnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.
Did you know that he drew a third
of God's children away
from Him
and caused them to follow and participate
in his liberal
ways!
(Rev. 12:4). Many, many people just love this guy!
Yes, the Devil, the serpent!
[9] I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.
Remember they have no brains and no knowledge of good and evil.
Satan WAS the tree in the midst
of the garden of Eden,
both in the first earth age as shown here,
and in this
earth age in Gen. 3!
It was Satan, that old serpent the devil, who tempted Eve and beguiled her.
Satan also tempted Jesus Christ
in the wilderness with
God's Word
by misquoting and twisting the scriptures
to read and
mean the "letter" of what is written,
instead of the "truth" of what is written.
Most Christians do not even know that Satan misquoted the Word of God when he tempted Jesus Christ.
Do you?
Let us go back to the garden.
Genesis 3:2
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
[3] But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
God did not say "LEST ye die!"
There is no "lest" or "perhaps" about it!
It is not "questionable" at all!
God said "thou shalt surely die!" She also added "neither shall ye touch it"!
However, she will end up "touching" this tree who will literally "touch" her as in wholly seduce her.
Yes, she will lose her "virginity" to the serpent, to this handsome, smart young man!
Have you ever looked up the word "touch" in a Hebrew dictionary?
touch = òâ‡ðˆnaòga€naw-gah' Strong's #5060
A primitive root; properly to touch, that is, laythehandupon (for any purpose; euphemistically, to lie with a woman); by implication to reach (figuratively to arrive, acquire); violently, to strike (punish, defeat, destroy, etc.):—beat, (X be able to) bring (down), cast, come (nigh), draw near (nigh), get up, happen, join, near, plague, reach (up), smite, strike, touch.
2 Cor. 11:2
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
Do not be like Eve who was "beguiled" by the handsome young intellectual preacher in the midst of the garden!
Let us continue with the discussion in Genesis chapter 3:[3] But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.beguiled = dîáðáôÜùexapataoex-ap-at-ah'-o Strong's #1818
From G1537 and G538; to seduce wholly:—beguile, deceive.
Genesis 3:4
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
This is the first of many, many lies, for he is the father of lies (John 8:44).
[5] For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
In other words they will become enlightened through the expansion of their minds!
You see, what Satan is saying is that you do not need God's Word to be your standard for right and wrong.
No, you can be liberated, as in a "liberal", and you can determine for yourself what is right and wrong!
Yeah, that only makes good sense, doesn't it?
I mean, who is to say what is really right or wrong?
Furthermore, the argument goes, what right do you have to impose your beliefs on someone else?
Go by what "feels good", baby!
Live for today!
(Baby Boomers know the song, "Sha la, la, la, la, la, live for today!")
Note: If a person gets really filled with the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good an evil he or she can become an arrogant condescending liberal politician who believes he or she can also determine in his or her own "godly wisdom" what is best for other people (of lesser intelligence). Of course what is good for others would obviously have to exclude God's Word, any reference of which must be stricken from the halls of justice and any and all government and public institutions, especially those schools where the children go to learn.
[6] And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise,
It looks real good!
"Come on Eve, think about it!
What harm can come to you?
God is not going to "kill you" just for having a little fun!"
Now Think: When is the last time
you saw an apple tree
and said to yourself, "You know self,
if I eat the fruit from this tree it will
instantly make
me wiser.
I'll bet these are some kind of smart apples".
Get apples and grapes out of your mind.
It is the "leaven", the doctrine of Satan, his bad fruit, that Eve listened to.
In other words, she "ate up"
Satan's philosophical reasonings
and "interpretations" of God's Word
as he began to appeal to her ego and
"desire".
It all started to make sense to her and she told Adam all the things she was learning and he began to eat it up also.
And before long, they were had!
... she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
[7] And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
But why in the world do they now "know they're naked"?
You will find it is because of
the SHAME they have brought
upon themselves, for disobeying God,
yes, but in a much more perverted way than
biting bad
apples.
"And they sewed FIG LEAVES together, and made themselves aprons."
Do you suppose these were itty bitty little aprons that they sewed together to cover their mouths because they just ate a bad apple?
How stupid the traditions of men!
Learn to think for yourself and stick to God's Word, not the traditions of men.
[8] And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Adam and Eve hear their Father walking in the garden in the "ruach" (cool)!
And now that they know good and evil, they know they've done evil!
So they did what most people do, they HID THEMSELVES!
Today we would call it "FigGate".
You can read their excuses for disobeying God in verses 9 through 13 on your own.
Let us now see what judgment was made by our Father:
Genesis 3:14
And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
In English we might say you will always be "lower than a snake's belly" and "eat dust" all your life!
Remember, the rotten snake seduced mother Eve right there in the fig grove!
And you know what?
She conceived!
Genesis 3:14
And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
[15] And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
The two seeds of the Parable of the Tares in Mat. 13!
REMEMBER?
God is NOT talking about "apple seeds" here!
He is talking about progeny, children, the same thing Christ was talking about in Mat. 13!
Matthew 13:38
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
Eve is about to give birth and one of those children will be the offspring of the Devil.
[39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
How?
He seduced Eve and she participated in the "conception" of that bad seed (Cain)!
Now notice the sentence of "sorrow" (travail) related to child birth that Eve receives because of what she has done.
Genesis 3:16
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Are you still with us or have you decided to stick with "snakes and apples"?
Adam was not Cain's father!
