Some things you should know about "The Lord's Day"

The "Lord's Day" is the day Christ returns to earth as King of kings.

 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one. Zechariah 14:9

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORD'S Revelation 19:16  And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; Revelation 19:17

Christ's return ("The Lord's Day") will not take place until Satan first comes to earth claiming to be Christ

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Matthew 24:15
And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! Matthew 24:19 (Them that worshiped the spurious christ thinking he was Christ) ... but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Mark 13:13

It will be a spiritual kingdom.  No flesh and blood being may enter.

There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 1 Corinthians 15:40 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. The "Lord's Day" is one day as God measures days but is really 1000 years as we measure days.

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8

It will last 1000 years - "The Millennium"

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Revelation 20:6

And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Revelation 20:3

All who ever lived on earth during this flesh age will be present during "This Millennium.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:52

And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. Ezekiel 44:23 And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths. Ezekiel 44:24 And they shall come at no dead person to defile themselves: but for father, or for mother, or for son, or for daughter, for brother, or for sister that hath had no husband, they may defile themselves. Ezekiel 44:25

Satan will not be present until the very end.

The 1st. resurrection to eternal life will take place in the beginning of the Millennium/1000years for all Christians who endure until the end

And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Mark 13:13

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:11 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:12 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:13

The Zadok will instruct the dead during the 1000 years teaching them the difference between what is Holy and what is profane.

Those who follow the Lord after Satan's release will be granted eternal life at the end of the "Millennium" This is the 2nd. resurrection.

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Revelation 20:11 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20:12 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Revelation 20:13 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:14 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15 All others will receive eternal life!(There can be no reason for the Millennium to take place at all except for God to seperate, with the help of those of us who were part of the 1st. resurection, the persons who will perish at the Great White Throne of Judgement from those who will receive eternal life at that time, the 2nd.  resurection. - The fact that the Bible calls one the 1st. indicates there is to be a 2nd.)

Those who still choose to follow Satan at that time will perish after "The Great White Throne of Judgment".

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, Revelation 20:7 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Revelation 20:8

"The Lord's Day" , "The Day of the Lord", "That Day". The Bible refers to "The Lord's Day" more than 200 times, many times as "That Day".  I am sure their are others, but I found these "Day of the Lord" references in

Before you say, "but, many of these are prophecies about ancient Israel or Judah please consider 1 Cor. 10:11 where Paul tells us, "Now all these things happened unto them for examples, and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages are come."

Saying such things, for example, as:

And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. Isaiah 2:17
In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon, Isaiah 3:18
In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks. Isaiah 26:1
Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. Isaiah 52:6

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. John 14:20

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 1 Thessalonians 5:2
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 1 Thessalonians 5:4

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2 Thessalonians 2:3

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8

therein shall be burned up. 2 Peter 3:10

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Revelation 6:17
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Revelation 16:14

When will "The Lord's Day" come?

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Matthew 24:3 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Matthew 24:4  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:5 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.Matthew 24:6 For nation shall rise against (along side) nation, and kingdom against (along side) kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Matthew 24:7 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:8 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. Matthew 24:9 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. Matthew 24:10 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Two things to consider when thinking about when "That Day" will arrive!

#1  Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. Hosea 6:1 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Hosea 6:2 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. Hosea 6:3 (Hum! 6:2 - Two days after the crucifixion - 30 A.D. plus 2000 = 2030 A.D. and the third day - 2030 to 3030 = "The Millennium"?????)

#2 Jesus said, Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: Matthew 24:32 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Matthew 24:33

So what about it? Are you going to wait until the Millennium to drink from the water of life, or are you thirsty now?

Rev. 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. [2] In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Rev. 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Matthew 5:6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
