Presents
Pamphlet 1766 Figtree
kc 6-1
Who are the kenites of the house of Hemath?
It has been 55 years since
the May 15, 1948 planting of the fig tree in the land of Judea!
That means that the eldest
members of the final generation,
the generation that will
"not pass away"
until all prophecies
leading up to the return of Christ are fulfilled, are 55 years old.
In our last study
we learned the horticulture
of certain varieties of figs
and
discovered that there really are both "good and edible figs" (Smyrna
figs)
as
well as "bad and inedible figs" (Capri figs),
which
are sometimes called "goat" figs.
Let us now go to the 24th
chapter of Jeremiah
and see where our Father
uses these two types of figs symbolically
to show Jeremiah (and
us) that there are "two separate peoples" of Judah!
Jeremiah 24:1 The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
Keep
this in mind because we are going to go to the New Testament
and
see Jesus Christ go into that temple of the LORD
and
overthrow the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of them who sell
"doves"!
He
shall even cleanse the temple, the house of God,
and
cast out the bad figs.
Now notice the distinction between the contents of the two baskets (vessels):
[2] One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
Why do you suppose He asks him?
To
show us that those whom "He sends forth" in these last days
can
tell the difference between good and bad figs,
not
the literal fruit itself (oh ye apple and snake believers),
but
those good and bad people who are represented symbolically by the good
and bad figs!
Here is the question:
The Hebrew "ra" is translated into the three English words "naughty", "bad", and "evil" in this chapter.[3] Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
"Ra" is a fitting adjective for "bad" figs since they do "afflict" our people. That is because we have allowed them to enter in!H7451 òø‡ äòÈøˆ ra€ raò€aòh rah,raw-aw'
From H7489; bad or (as noun) evil (naturally or morally). This includes the second (feminine) form; as adjective or noun:—adversity, affliction, bad, calamity, + displease (-ure), distress, evil ([-favouredness], man, thing), + exceedingly, X great, grief (-vous), harm, heavy, hurt (-ful), ill (favoured), + mark, mischief, (-vous), misery, naught (-ty), noisome, + not please, sad (-ly), sore, sorrow, trouble, vex, wicked (-ly, -ness, one), worse (-st) wretchedness, wrong. [Including feminine ra’ah; as adjective or noun.]
Amos 6:14 But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river of the wilderness.
For instance, they entered
into the storehouse of our treasury on Dec. 24th, 1913,
and have now consumed
away the wealth of Jacob and stripped bare the vineyard.
By
the way, the phrase "unto the river of the wilderness"
is an expression in Hebrew
that means "all the way to the river's end"
as in
"all the way unto the end of this age",
meaning right up to the
return of Jesus Christ when He shall wither that bad fig tree
for a thousand years
before it is bound and cast into the lake of fire
to be consumed away forever,
i.e. perish.

Jeremiah 24:4 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
You must "see' that they are both named of Judah!
[5] Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
Note: We remind you once again that if you do not know where the "Lost" tribes of the House of Israel reside today go to pamphlet 1064 "Israel's Lost Tribes"
[6] For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
[7] And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
Now what of the "evil figs" which cannot be eaten?
[8] And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:
Remember
we read how the "Nethinim" worked their way into the temple
to
eventually sit in the seat of Moses?
[9] And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.
They
became the scribes for the House of Israel,
remember
(1 Chron. 2:55)?
Nevertheless
the residue of Jerusalem,
who
are the kenites of the house of Hemath,
have
fulfilled verse nine throughout history,
and
if you are a student of history you know that every monarchy of Europe
at
one time or another has ousted them.
However,
in these last days they have become a taunt and curse
to
"all the kingdoms of earth" in bringing forth the beast of Rev. 13:1, i.e.
the New World Order.
It should also be pointed
out that the phrase "to be removed into" means
"to
be tossed to and fro among" (see note in the Companion Bible).
Of course we know who
their leader (father) is
who likes to go "to
and fro" and "up and down" in the earth!
Job 2:2 "And the LORD
said unto Satan,
From whence comest thou?
And Satan answered the
LORD, and said,
From going
to and fro in the earth, and from walking
up and down in it."
All one needs to do is
listen to the "traditions of men"
and he or she will be
"tossed
to and fro" (confused) along with them.
God's elect are not "tossed
to and fro"
because they adhere strictly
to His Word and BELIEVE HIM,
not preachers and ministers.
The
majority of those "who come in the name of Christ"
actually
eat bad fruit and therefore deceive our people
by
passing it along to our people (Mat. 24:5).
Here is Paul speaking of the strength of God's elect who know His Word:
Ephes. 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Jer 24:10 And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.
That
is why we in this final generation who know who the "tares" are
have
been instructed to leave them alone (Mat. 13;29)
and
let them grow along with the wheat until harvest time!
Then
their toxic fruit shall appear evident to all
and
they shall be consumed from off the land by the reapers,
who
are the angels, who are the children of God, i.e. His saints.
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits;
to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy
Spirit, you accomplish both.
