The Walking Dead

We will all (every one who ever lived, except Satan, and those of us who did not come to earth through the womb) live on earth with Christ for 1000 years (approx. 12 billion of us).  Any who did not receive eternal life at our Lord's return, now being referred to as the walking dead, will live here on earth, also in spiritual bodies, during the Millennium, His 1000 year earthly kingdom. They live here with Christ as King, along with those of us who have already received eternal life.

The difference being, they, having missed out on the first resurrection, are still liable to lose their lives at the end of the 1000 years. Satan will be locked up and unable to negatively influence the walking dead during this 1000 year period. After one thousand years living without evil influence but having foreknowledge from their flesh and blood experience with death and its perminancy, Satan will be loosed for a little while to again tempt them.

If they choose to follow God and holiness rather then Satan and what is profane they will at that time be granted eternal life (the second resurrection). If they still choose to follow Satan, they will be judged and sentenced to the same fate as Satan - to perish by the all consuming fire which is God.

God now knows that all of us who chose to follow Him in the first earth age, during the grace period of this present earth age, or the testing after the Millennium did so because we love Him, inviting Him to change our hearts to what He would have us be.
