Christian: If you believe the doctrines listed below, as they are taught in most churches today; This is the Temple, Jesus Christ will destroy when He returns.
1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
Matthew 24:1
And
Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to
him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. [2]
And
Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you,
There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be
thrown down. [3]
And
as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately,
saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign
of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Jesus will take the entire remainder
of this chapter and give a precise, detailed answer to this compound question
about the signs and the end. Here's His first response:
Matthew 24:4
And
Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. [5]
For
many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

What does the bible really say? Please Read Isaiah 29:11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: [12] And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned. [13] Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:andRev. 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him, to shew unto His servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by His angel unto His servant John: and Rev. 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. Of course if you listen to what many preachers and ministers tell their people, who blindly trust in them to show them the truth of God's Word, saying that they don't need to understand the Book of Revelation, then this is how they present Rev. 1:1 "The Secret and Sealed Sayings of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to hide from His servants things which must shortly come to pass;". A sealed revelation?I think not!Now the reason they cannot SEE and cannot HEAR the words of the prophecies of this book is explained in the last 20 words of Isaiah 29:13...but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Now open the following #1921

8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send
a famine
in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing
the words of the LORD: You
know, a loving person who SEES his or her own people dying from starvation
would naturally give them food to eat if they had some, wouldn't they?
Are you familiar with the parable in Matthew 25:31-46? God's people of
the house of Israel are basically well fed and have plenty to drink in
this country and yet while they gather food for the homeless and needy
(a good work for sure), they themselves are starving and dying
of thirst, NOT for bread or for water, but of HEARING THE WORDS OF
THE LORD! Are you able to help any of them, to feed them bread and meat
from His Word, or give them to drink from His well of Living Water, or
even just show them where the plumbline is? Now

What does the bible really say? Please Read Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: [25] But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. [38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; [39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; and 2 Cor. 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. and Genesis 3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. Their eyes were opened all right and they experienced something new, NAKEDNESS, both spiritually and physically! But why in the world do they now "know they're naked"? You will find it is because of the SHAME they have brought upon themselves, for disobeying God, yes, but in a much more perverted way than biting bad apples. "And they sewed FIG LEAVES together, and made themselves aprons." Do you suppose these were itty bitty little aprons that they sewed together to cover their mouths because they just ate a bad apple? What does the bible really say? Please Read Rev. 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, [8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. Rev. 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Let there be no doubt about who the great red dragon is. He is the Devil, Satan himself, that old serpent who was in the garden of Eden and seduced mother Eve. He is cast to this earth! And he fools a couple of people? No, he deceives the WHOLE WORLD. He's really good. He's coming disguised as Jesus. He will sit in the temple claiming to be God (2 Thes. 2). And remember, we just read he drew away 1/3 of God's children in the "world that then was", but it will be even easier to deceive them in their flesh bodies. For those whom He knew before hand, He predetermined their "destiny", not their day to day decisions of life. [30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. This verse should now be self explanatory. [31] What shall we then say to these things? Read 1 Chron. 2:55 And the families of the
scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites.
These are the Kenites
that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab. Whether
you realize it or not you will read that the sons of Cain (Kenites) affixed
themselves to the 12 tribes of Israel, whose genealogies are listed beginning
in verse 1.If you are not familiar with the
word "kenite" then look it up in Strong's concordance or the World Book
Encyclopedia Dictionary. It means progeny, or offspring of Cain.
Do
you understand what this means? The descendents
of Cain are alive and well many, many years following the Flood of Noah.
They
were present when Christ walked the earth (John 8:44) and they are present
this very day. That means they survived the Great
Deluge, as did all the other races. And so
it is for this and many other reasons, especially the understanding
of what caused the Flood, that this teacher does not believe that the Great
Deluge covered Babylon and the land of Nod, nor Egypt, but only that portion
of perhaps Central Asia, around the Tarim Basin, were some scholars place
the garden of Eden and the origin of the Adamic race (Read "Tracing Our
Ancestors" by Frederick Haberman for more details). In
any event, however universal you may believe the flood to be, it is imperative
that
you understand what transpired PRIOR to that Flood, because as it was in
the beginning, so shall it be in the end.

Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day
is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
There
has always been, and continues to be, discussion as to the duration, length
of time, of each day of creation, i.e. was it 24 hours as we reckon a day,
for it says the evening and the morning comprise the day, or was it longer?
In so far as the sun and moon are not placed until the fourth day of creation
(verse 16), it would hardly seem that the current status of a day would
apply, at least to days 1-3, would it? Peter told us in his second book
not to be ignorant about this, especially about this one thing, because
God does not reckon time as we do. God's days are not the same as man's.
Are the days of creation in Genesis God's, or are they man's? Who
is present and who isn't? The answer is obvious. Also, keep in mind
that the Lord's Day, that Sabbath of rest, is that period of time we call
the millennium, which means 1000 years. So the last "day" of this earth
age will be 1000 years. Now open the following

What does the bible really say? Please Read Genesis 2:5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. Have you noticed that there was no mention in chapter one, whatsoever, of a farmer, a man to till the ground and plant seeds? The chapter one man was given dominion over the fowl of the air and the fish of the sea. There were only hunters and fishers. And so here in chapter two, following God's day of rest (Sabbath), God says that He has "no man to till the ground". [6] But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. [7] And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. There are several important things to notice in this verse: First, the Hebrew word for "formed" is yatsar, meaning to "mould" or "form" as a potter. It is not the same word as "created" in Gen. 1:26, which is bara. Secondly (and this is crucial to our understanding), the word "man" used here is " 'eth-ha adham", with the article and particle, and means "this same man Adam". It means a specific man, not mankind in general. Again, if you are fortunate to have a Companion Bible, it will document this for you. Lastly, we see God "breathed" into Adam's nostrils the "breath of life". The word translated "breathed" is naphach, which means to "inflate", as in He inflated Adam's lungs. But the word translated "breath" is neshamah, which means "divine inspiration", "intellect", "soul" or "spirit". So God not only inflated Adam's lungs with "air", but placed in him his "breath of life body", i.e. his spiritual body. The apostle Paul makes it very clear in 1 Cor.. 15 that we will have both a flesh body and a spiritual body, and so did Adam when God was finished forming him. [8] And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. God did not tell this "man" to go forth and replenish the earth, did He? Instead, He prepared a special garden and in it placed this "same man Adam", whom He had formed. Also note that in chapter 1 verse 24, God brought forth the beasts of the "earth", erets in Hebrew, meaning the "earth at large" or "wilderness", i.e. the wild animals. But here in chapter 2 verse 19 he formed every beast of the "field", sadeh in Hebrew, meaning "country" or "field", i.e. field animals or farm animals. Notice that these animals were formed AFTER the man was created whereas in chapter one the wild animals were created BEFORE mankind. These were separate creations. What does the bible have to say about this? To be perfectly honest I can find nothing in the Bible to call for a Sunday Sabbath. Having said that, I have no problem with Sunday worship as long as you worship the Lord every day, not just a few hours each Sunday morning. Sitting in church with your spouse for an hour each Sunday, saying on your way out the door, "Wasn't that a good sermon today", then going back to business as usual and not thinking about the Lord again until next Sunday morning is not going to cut the mustard on "judgment day". Do keep the following verses from Hosea and Amos in mind Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. Amos 5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. [22] Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. [23] Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. [24] But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.
Now, what is the Lord's Day really about? - Please read: Rev 1::9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. [10] I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, What does it mean that John was in the Spirit on the Lord's day? If you're not familiar with God's Word you may be unprotected and susceptible to listening to the unlearned tell you that it's now Sunday on the isle of Patmos! But know this well. The understanding of verse 10 is extremely important in order to know the time frame of the Book of Revelation. The Lord's day is where John was taken when he saw the visions.
Let's look at what Paul says concerning the day of the Lord. Paul talks about Christ's return, the day of the Lord, in 1 Thes. 5:2. 1 Thes. 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. Now I ask you Do Sunday's sneak up on you like a thief in the night? Do they take you by surprise? If they do there's a new thing out now called a "calendar" which will let you know when they are coming. Let's also look at what Peter says in 2 Peter 3:8-10. 2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. So the Lord's Day will be 1000 years commencing at Christ's return. We call it the millennium, which means a thousand. It is His Sabbath, the day of rest, the 7th day. [9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. [10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. You just read what happens on the day of the Lord, so if I was you I be wouldn't listen to this "it happened on Sunday" stuff anymore!
I have compiled a list and written a pamphlet on what I have found in the Bible concerning "The Lord's Day"
