The latter day rain is now falling

Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
The amazing thing about correction is that children come to respect
and to know in their hearts that their parents love them
when their parents discipline them in love.

Let me translate that as it concerns our people.

America the Beautiful, the largest of the 10 tribes of Israel,
after learning the hard way that her lovers cannot heal her nor bind up her wounds,
will eventually come to know that it was the Lord God who corrected her
and disciplined her in His unconditional love for His people.

Unfortunately for most Christians,
that realization will not occur until His return at the 7th Trump
and they will miss out on the enormous blessings of the First Resurrection,
which is the first granting of eternal life.

It is written in Rev. 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection:
on such the second death hath no power,
but they shall be priests of God and of Christ,
and shall reign with him a thousand years."

However, the invitation to the wedding is now open and as Hosea just said,
"Come, return unto the LORD",
meaning return NOW! If you do,
He will grant you that eternal life when He returns
and you shall live (forever) in His sight (1 Thes. 4:17).

[2] After two days will He revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight.
Some scholars struggle with this verse but it is really quite simple
because it follows the subject and speaks of the time
when the One who has returned to His place in heaven,
comes and raises up His people (see note in Companion Bible).

In other words, this verse speaks of the first resurrection when He will "raise us up" (to eternal life)
and we shall "live in His sight"!

That happens on the third day following His return to His place,
i.e. to the throne in heaven.

How so?

Are you familiar with 2 Peter 3:8?

Do you know how long a "day" is with the Lord?

"But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,
that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years,
and a thousand years as one day (2 Peter 3:8)."

The "Day" He raises us up is known as the Millennium, the Lord's Day,
the day of His return. In other words, after two days IS the third day!

Two days (2000 years) after the crucifixion when Jesus Christ returned to His place,
is the third day,
which is the Day of the Lord, the Millennium (1000 years),
the day when "we shall live in His sight".

Note: Do the math; Christ was crucified in the year AD30. Adding 2000 years takes you to the year AD2030. 2030 will soon be here!  Is the end of this earth age getting that close?

Now learn the "Parable of the Fig Tree" like Jesus told you to. Click this link to open Pamphlet 1769

[3]Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Do you "follow on to know the LORD",
i.e. study His Word and seek to know Him,
or do you follow after the traditions of men, as taught in most churches?

"His going forth is prepared as the morning"
means it is already predetermined and "hewn in stone",
and God's plan and timetable are as sure a thing
as the sun coming up in the morning.

He shall return on schedule, at the appointed time,
which is near at hand!

Until then,
it is written in both the Book of Peter and the Book of James
how the Lord now waits patiently (in His place) for the harvest,
for the precious fruit of the earth,
and He provides the former and the latter rain for that harvest.

Do you know what the latter day rain is?

It is his precious Word.

James 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
Our Father wants us to KNOW Him and LOVE Him (Hos. 6:6).

And so the latter day rain is now falling,
if only you will allow it to water the buds of your mind
whereby you grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord
and your love for Him increases each day.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
