Jeremiah

Chapter 11

"Prophecy against the People, Judah and Jerusalem."

Jeremiah 11:1 "The Word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,"

This is another prophecy from God to Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 11:2 "Hear ye the Words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;"

"This covenant" is a contract that God is making to the men of Judah and the people that are living in Jerusalem. II Kings 23:1-3 speaks of this covenant;

II Kings 23:1-2 "And the king sent, and they gathered unto him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem.[1] And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the LORD.[2]

II Kings 23:3 "And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant."

Jeremiah 11:3 "And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD."

There are very few Christians today that know what that covenant is. God is saying that those of His people are cursed if they don't obey it. That curse is pronounced and placed there by the living God. They are cursed by being lost, and just don't know who they are. They do not have the ability to understand the Word of God, because they do not have the key to David that opens the door of tracing the migrations, and knowing the peoples.

This also places them away from the blessings of God. This covenant is God's "Testament", and it is God's Will passed down to His people. There are two of them; the Old and the New Testaments. Most people have a copy of that covenant in their home, and never read it.

Jeremiah 11:4 "Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:"

There is a condition to being called one of God's People, and being able to go to Him as your Heavenly Father, and that condition is "Obey My voice, and do them, according to all which I command you;" When you read and follow the things that are written in His covenant, then you are His, and He is yours.

Remember from Hosea what God called to the House of Israel; "ammi" [My People] when they follow God's Word, and Lo-ammi" when they did not. When the House of Israel turned its back on God,"Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not My People, and I will not be your God." [Hosea 1:9]

When you fall away from God's Word, and seeking His direction, you immediately pull away from God.

Jeremiah 11:5 "That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD "

This promise of God applies even to this day. For those that are not cursed by God, we live in a land that flows with milk and honey. When you are a child of the living God, the blessings of God and of the land are available to you. Remember though, that there is a condition to receiving those blessings; "Obey My voice, and do them, according to all which I commanded you." [verse 4]

Jeremiah 11:6 "Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them."

If you're not a doer of the Word, then you will be cursed. You will be of no value for His service. My fellow Christian, it is your works that count, for that is all that your soul can take with you, when it departs from this your physical body, whether by death, or by the changing into our incorruptible bodies when Christ returns at the seventh trumpet. That is what you are judged by, your works.

Works do not save you. Jesus Christ saves you, but if you provide no works at all on Christ's behalf, you have no rewards except your entry permit. Spriritually that is exactly what is written in the Revelation.

Jeremiah 11:7 "For I earnestly protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice."

Here again is God's request saying, "obey My voice." He is reminding us to read His Word, and see for ourselves what happened to our ancestors when they did not Obey God's voice. A whole generation of Israel was lost out there because they would not listen to God. They saw giants, but didn't trust God to take care of them, and they allowed fear to take control of their lives. They walked just a little way into the promise land where there was a mountain called the backbone of the giant, and the spies and people started to trembling. They became cowards, however their main sin was not trusting in and obeying God.

Jeremiah 11:8 "Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not."

They started to listen to one another, and spread their rumors, and they talked themselves right out of the blessings and fortune that God had for them. Just like today, man thinks he knows so much more then God. Judah did exactly as did Israel before them, they started to walk in the imagination of their evil mind. They did what felt good to them, and let their own evil thoughts and religious forms and traditions become their guide, instead of God's Word.

God is very easy to please when you try to follow His Word.  Check it out for yourself.

Jeremiah 11:9 "And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem."

The "conspiracy" is as real today as it was in the day that God spoke these Words. If you want to know where the "conspiracy" of the world is, then look there. You will find it there amongst the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and that tiny nation that we call Israel, today. Those inhabitants are the "Kenites", the bad figs that moved in, in part, and gave our brother Judah a bad name, and many headaches.

To see what is being taught and promoted today, it is obvious that most all of the church world has no idea who these people are. They don't know their own identity, let alone who the Kenites are, as they prepare their flocks to accept Satan's Children, the Kenites, as well as Satan the false-christ.

When we get to Jeremiah 35, these Kenites will be identified in detail, each pebble by pebble, as they laid down the gravel road that most Christians, and their false shepherds travel over today.  As Jesus Christ walked into Jerusalem, in Matthew 23:1-2, and say; "The Scribes and Pharisees sit in the seat of Moses." Jesus was not talking about our brother Judah. He was talking about the inhabitance of Jerusalem. The Kenites who had mixed with our brothers Judah and Benjamin while being captive in Babylon.

The "inhabitants" are plus Judah, or should I say, in addition to Judah.

Jeremiah 11:10 "They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers."

Most ministers just can't seperate these two houses in their minds, and which house carries the right to rule, the scepter; and which house carries the promises of the Abrahamic Covenant of God.

The descendants of  the House of Israel are the Christian nations of today. As Hosea 1:10 tells us, they are living in other lands around the world, Mostly Europe and the Americas, and while they are living there, they are known as "sons of the living God". They are known as Christians, after the living God. What they don't know is that they are descended from the ancient Israelites of the norhern kingdom, "House of Israel".

The House of Judah, on the other hand, is a mixture of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, mixed with these oriental sons of Cain called Kenites. It is Judah that mixed with the "inhabitants" of Jerusalem [Kenites], and through traditions, and the course of many centuries of time, these Kenites it is now assumed are also of Israel. Today we call them all Jews thinking they are all of Judah.

These two houses are two seperate peoples, and today neither house is aware of who they are, or even of the mixture of the Kenites with Judah. To be part of the covenant, and take part in that covenant, you have to follow that covenant, or the curses will be on you. God will also gives you blessings when you follow that covenant.

Jeremiah 11:11 "Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them."

This may make God out to be very cold, when He would turn His back on them. If you are in one of these church houses that are teaching you to get ready to fly out of here in some fairy tale rapture, or that which is deep into Kenite traditions, or other forms of apostacy, you are bringing the curses onto your own head. If you are calling to the first supernatural messiah, you are not calling to the true Christ, but to Satan. Why would God want to bless you when you are preparing yourself to become a spiritual harlot, and becoming the bride of Satan?

When they are calling to the one in their heathenistic practices, they are calling to Satan. By receiving the covenant, and discarding it for another, they receive the cursing of almight God. Why would God want to bless them? The first one taken in the field is taken by the false Christ. Are you ready to fly? If so Satan will be here shortly, to collect those that are getting ready for him.

Jeremiah 11:12 "Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble."

It is important that you seperate "the cities of Judah" the people of Judah, from the "inhabitants of Jerusalem" the Kenites. Anybody that lives in that city, is an inhabitant of that city. That "time of their trouble", is what we call "Jacob's trouble". There is only one time in all history that Jacob's trouble shall come into being, and that is the "great Apostacy".

That is when the false-christ, the Antichrist [Satan] is here, and Satan will not be able to help them one bit, because his time is short, five months, and then into the pit with him. He will be placed there for the duration of the Millennium. He will be locked away until the end of that thousand years, and then released for a short season, to test us one last time, before his complete destruction in the "Lake of fire".

Jeremiah 11:13 "For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal."

Their "altars" are their churches, and that "shameful thing" is the worshipping of Satan, the Antichrist as the true messiah. "Baal" is Satan. To burn incense is to worship, and hold services for him, to draw others into the traditions and preparation of the coming of the false christ. It is getting quite late in the day for people to understand how the Word of God goes, but there is still time to get the flow of God's plan, but you had better take it serious.

If you stop and analyze the the position that you and your family's life are in, and you don't like it, then go back and review the opening three verses of Jeremiah 11. Then you can see how easy it is to fix it; if you understand the covenant, and obey what is instructed in it.

Jeremiah 11:14 "Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble."

This is refering to the time of Jacob's trouble, the time of the great tribulation. When Satan the Antichrist is here on earth, it is too late then for you, to be saved by grace for by that time you will either be sealed with the truth of God's Word in your mind, or you will not. If you are not, then God will simply give you over to Satan to have his way with you. and you can look forward to 1000 years of summer school, i.e. "The Millennium" to learn the difference between what is holy (Jesus Christ) and what is profane (Satan). And then comes the final test prior to "The Great White Throne of Judgment"

Revelation 9:4 "And it was commanded them [The Antichrist and his system] that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads." To have the seal or the knowledge of God in your forehead or mind, you have to read those commandments [both the Old and New Testaments commandments] and understand them, and follow them.

When this time comes it will do no good to even pray for those who don't already have the seal of God in their mind, because they will have been given over to Satan. The trumpet will have has sounded, and the set time of the Lord has come. To many God will send on a spirit of stuper, as it is written in Romans, to protect them, whereby their protection is their innocence. At that time we will see that ignorance is not all that bad of a word.

However, there are a group of people that have read, and do understand His Word, and consider it a joy to serve and worship the Living God. They enjoy the blessings of God, rather then the curses of God.

Jeremiah 11:15 "What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest."

God's house is "Bethel" the house where His Word is taught from cover to cover, with understanding. God's "beloved" is His bride to be, the bride of Christ. Why would they do this? The bride of Christ, the church of today thinks what they are doing in the house of God is correct, but it is not. It is because the scribes have twisted things to teach traditions of men rather then the Word of God, passing those traditions off as God's Word. The question here is, How well are you familiar with the Word of God? Do you know the difference between God's Truth and man's false traditions.

God is saying that He gave you a message and you have taken it and so twisted it to become something that I didn't send. He is asking, What is My bride doing there in those spiritual whoredoms, when she is supposed to be My bride, My beloved?  She is suppose to be waiting for my second coming, and she has been taken by another husband, instead of waiting.

Jeremiah 11:16 "The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken."

The "Olive tree" is symbolic of God's children's form of worship. Their true worship. The oil that comes from that tree is the oil that God's people use as their anointing oil, and it is used in obedience to God. It is also the "olive oil", which is the Word of God, that the virgin bride of Christ is to put in her lamp, to give her the knowledge and understanding to stand against Satan and his forces. So it is the olive tree that provides this oil that we should use.

This olive tree is symbolic of our time with the living God. It says here that the tree is all broken down. Why? Because the bride is not following instructions as to how we are to approach Him, and what He requires of us.

God gave an example, using trees in a parable, in Judges 9: how that people would fall away from Him. In the parable God even tells us when the people fall away from Him, the olive tree, just who they would fall away to. So lets go to Judges 9 and read the parable of the Olive tree.

Judges 9:8 "The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, `Reign thou over us."

The olive tree is to symbolize our love, respect and worship to the living God. This would be rightfully so, using the analogy of trees.

Judges 9:9 "But the olive tree said unto them, `Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?"

God is asking, should I leave my position of the only one that provides the fatness of the fruit, that honors God and man.

Judges 9:10 "And the trees said to the fig tree, `Come thou, and reign over us.' "

The "fig leaves" symbolize that which is hidden. It covers up the hidden peoples, the Kenites, as well as the private things.

Judges 9:11 "But the fig tree said unto them, `Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?"

Judges 9:12 "Then said the trees unto the vine, `Come thou, and reign over us.' "

The vine now is the grape vine.

Judges 9:13 "And the vine said unto them, `Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees'. "

Now what the parable is talking about is people and not trees. The tree of life is Christ, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is Satan. The "cedars of Lebanon" are those that by faith, are the children of Abraham, as well as the actual children of Abraham.

In the parable the trees are always trying to pass the buck, and nobody wants the truth to reign over them. Nobody wants the authority to take the lead to tell the truth of God's Word. Then because none of the trees of God want to take the lead, they shove that responsibility off on another.

Judges 9:14 "Then said all the trees unto the bramble, `Come thou, and reign over us.'"

The "bramble" is the thorn bush. The bramble bush is symbolic of Satan. So because all of the trees, the olive tree, and the vine, refused to take the lead, all the trees became willing to let the bramble do the teaching.

Judges 9:15 "And the bramble said unto the trees, `If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.' "

Just as Satan lied to Eve in the Garden of Eden, this bramble does the same thing and beckons the trees to come and find rest under it's shadow. Christian, have you ever seen a thorn bush? It doesn't give any shadow and there is no protection under it, (except by giving jabs to the ones that get too close). That is what Satan, and his Kenites will do to you. Rather then being under the shadow of the protection of the Living God, God's people are running to the protection of a thorn bush.

God gave this parable whereby we could know and understand that if you can't deside who will do the teaching and leading as it is written in God's Word, over us; then the bramble bush of some religious organization will take that role. This is directing each tree, or person to seek out its own shade, and learn to study God's Word on your own part.

This is the wrong generation to live in, if you expect some religious organization, some bramble bush of the false messiah to give you the shade, it just won't happen.

Jeremiah 11:17 "For the LORD of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal."

Both houses, the house of Judah (Jews, i.e. the two ancient Israelite tribes of Judah, and Benjamin mixed with Kenites [descendants of Cain}, many of which live in that new little country in the middle east, called Israel today) and the house of Israel (the other ten tribes of ancient Israelites, many of which are Christians today, mostly live in Europe and the Americas, along with some of their cousins from the Judah and Benjamin who were also carried away and transplanted by Assyria in the 700s B.C.) who have turned their worship over to the house of Baal, which is Satan. In their minds they think they are doing okay, but in their ignorance they do evil. Why? Because their pastor told them that this is the way it is done. Their pastors tell them you don't need to study those books that deal with the end times because you won't be here at the start of the tribulation. You will be gone, alright, like they teach you, but it won't be flying away to meet the Lord in the air on some cloud; No, you'll  be gone, shadowing under Satan's thorn bush.

People being lazy as they are, listen to this brambling talk, and are taken in by it. In doing so, they place their very soul on it.

Jeremiah 11:18 "And the LORD hath given me knowledge of it, and I know it: then thou shewedst me their doings."

As God is giving the prophet Jeremiah the knowledge, he sees what is actually happening. Do you have the eyes to see the truth of God's Word, as He gives us the knowledge through parables and simple teachings. God wants you to know what is happening to our people, so that you are not taken in also.

Jeremiah 11:19 "But I was like a lamb or an ox that is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, saying, Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered."

Are you this lamb or ox that is about to go to the slaughter by the devices that the Kenites are plotting against you. They would like to cut you off from the Messiah, and the land of the living spiritually. There is just one problem with this; when you try to cut the Messiah off, then God is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. Those false prophets did want to kill Jeremiah, because Jeremiah was saying the king of Babylon is coming, and they were saying that he wasn't.

This then, is the type of Satan. the false christ that is coming, and those false prophets would like to do the same to you as those false prophets wanted to do with Jeremiah. Jesus Christ is the True Christ, the lamb slain. It is easy for the truth to be twisted, and the false christ being presented today as the true Christ, Jesus Christ, but we will not allow ourselves to be deceived by them.

They can take Christ's name out of our schools, and remove Him from all parts of our legal and public life, and lands; but we will not allow Jesus Christ to be removed from our minds and private worship. The times are coming to a close, and our people have come to the point of allowing the ungodly to rule over us, and many of God's people have run to the bramble bush for their protection today.

Anytime anyone tries to remove the name of God from the mouths of children, they are ungodly.

Jeremiah 11:20 "But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause."

The Lord of Hosts, our Heavenly Father is the chief judge, and He judges fairly. Can you see now why God would curse the fig tree? Can you see what He was saying here with the parable of the trees and the fruit that each produces? It is the church houses that have allowed the bramble bush to take control in this generation, and allowing this to happen is common today.

Jeremiah 11:21 "Therefore thus saith the LORD of the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Prophesy not in the name of the LORD, that thou die not by our hand:"

"Anathoth" means "answer to prayer". Anathoth was a priest's city, the religious community. This place was about three miles from Jerusalem, and it was where the priests lived with their families. This little farming community attached to Benjamin, the entire community turned against Jeremiah for what he was saying, according to what God had told Jeremiah to say. The entire priestly community was polluted with these evil men trying to lead God's people away from the words of God.

This evil priestly people of the religious community were threatening Jeremiah for what he was saying to the people, even against his life. This is exactly what God is warning us today, we had better watch the priesthood (preachers, even Christian ministers), as this is a type of what we are facing. Watch out for those that are set up as ministers of God, for just as those evil priests misled in Jeremiah's day, so also will the religious leaders of today mislead God's people. Stay awake and watch out for their words, check them out and be on your guard.

When anyone, regardless what titles he has by his name, if he tells you that you don't need to know parts of God's Word, look out for him, for he is ignorant and not to be taken seriously. What is even more troubling is the fact that if he isn't ignorant, then what he is saying is part of the deception to deceive you, and he is part of the bramble bush, and out to stick you. Don't let it happen to you.

The Old testament is to be studied, all of it. Paul called the Old Testament the shadow of what is to come. It is the school teacher, and if you haven't studied in the Old Testament, then you haven't been to school. Watch out for those "men of Anathoth", they are very dangerous to your eternal soul.

Jeremiah 11:22 "Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:"

What is this sword and famine that shall destroy the sons and the daughters? The sword is the words that men speak, in their desceptions; while Amos 8:11 tells us that "the famine of the end times is not for bread and water, but for hearing the true Word of God." The only thing that the people will starve from in this generation will be from hearing the truths being taught from the Bible. They never study it, and they surely don't get it in the houses of vanity, their "Beth-even" [most of our Christian churches].

If God's Word is not being taught, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse and being correctly divided, i.e. preparing you in this generation for the spiritual battle that will be fought very shortly, when Satan, as the false-christ, comes to this earth, then your church is a house of emptiness. That is what God calls it, regardless what the preacher or the deacon board have to say. You may learn some morals from those four walls, but all else is deception.

Jeremiah 11:23 "And there shall be no more remnant of them: for I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation."

In these days, I would hate to be a pastor that is responsible directly to God in this generation for the souls of those blind sheep, starving to hear the Word of God, and know that all I was feeding them was the thorns from the bramble bush. When this time of visitation comes on the earth, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; the first persons that God grabs for judgment are the false shepherds, the pastors. God is angry with all those preachers that are spewing forth that trash that will lead his flock right to the false christ. That man is a marked man, for eternity.

The year of visitation is the year of Jacobs trouble, which we call the great tribulation. That time is right at our doorstep, for many of the seals have past, and the time of the fig tree was completed in 1948, when the Jews returned to Palestine [now called Israel]. All of the game playing in our churches, and the form and ritual in the church houses will not help you one bit, for if you do not have God's Word stored in your mind, you will be deceived, and the acceptance of those false doctrines, like the rapture theory, fall into the taking of the mark of the beast in your forehead, into your mind.

The time of the truth is coming very shortly, and for many there is a cloak of innocency for their own protection, and that is what the Millennium age is for. For then they will be taught, and given the discipline that they need. However for those that led the flock astray, God will handle His way.
