Jeremiah

Chapter 6

"Investigation."

The sixth chapter is about Jerusalem. It is a type of what is going to happen very shortly, in that geographical location when Satan, the Antichrist, the false messiah sets his foot on this earth. Basically that is the prime purpose of the book of Jeremiah. That is the Christ Himself who would become a stumbling stone, in as much as believing in Christ, if you don't know the difference between the instead of Christ,  Satan, and Christ himself, you can get a little anxious by what the traditions of men and the false teachers teach you, about the happenings of the end times.

Jeremiah 6:1 "O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Beth-haccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction."

Jerusalem is in the area of the tribe of Benjamin, and the trumpet that is about to be sounded here is the last trumpet. In other words, this is how it will be just before the time of the end at the seventh trumpet. "Tekoa" means "of the stockade", God is telling Jeremiah to get the troops ready, the battle is about to begin.

The sign of fire is God himself, "God is the consuming fire" as we read in Hebrews 12:29. So to find where the fire is, we have to understand Beth-haccerem", meaning the "house of the vine". We know that Christ is the true vine and we are the branches of His vine.

We're going back into the history of that time. Benjamin is mentioned here so that we know that the attack comes from the north. However, at that time in history, Benjamin and Judah were the only two tribes left in Jerusalem, because some two hundred years earlier, the other ten tribes, the House of Israel, were taken into captivity by the Assyrians, and hauled away.

Jeremiah 6:2 "I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman."

In other words, Zion at this time, will be as helpless as a little girl, as far as defending herself from those around her, is concerned. Helpless against the deceptions that will come against her. The people in this generation do hear the trumpet, but they don't know what to expect, or what it is all about, because the majority are Biblically illiterate. They have not been taught the Word of God in their Christian church-houses.

Then secondly, when Satan, the false-christ, does come, and they see the supernatural acts and wonders that he will perform, and will say that he has come to fly them away because that is what they were taught, in their church-houses, will happen when Christ returns, . When he comes before Christ, they will all run to him, and that is why they are helpless. They don't want to fight back, because they are deceived by their own ignorance. They will love every moment of it, and they will love that old fake, the spurious messiah, Satan.

Jeremiah 6:3 "The shepherds with their flocks shall come unto her; they shall pitch their tents against her round about; they shall feed every one in his place."

These shepherds are not good shepherds, they are our preachers, teachers and priests. This means that in your own churches, these false shepherds will bring about this deception. They will teach traditions of men and false doctrines that will bring about the deception of the flock, which are those Christians that are not getting the Word as it should be fed to them; Chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. The flock is being fed stories, and not what is necessary to stand against the deceptions of Satan, and his scorpion type army.

Jeremiah 6:4 "Prepare ye war against her; arise, and let us go up at noon. Woe unto us! for the day goeth away, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out."

This is what the enemy is saying, right in front of everyone. They have no fear of God, or His people, they see Christians as no problem to their activities. For a long time they have taken those Christians, and made suckers out of them. It is getting late and they know the evening is coming and want to make an end of them.

Jeremiah 6:5 "Arise, and let us go by night, and let us destroy her palaces."

They see that those Christians are so easy that it is not good enough to deceive her in the day time, that they are going to deceive her at night also. They will go in there and rip her off, take her pasture, and take her flocks. Remember this is spiritual, and applied to the deception not only in the Christian church houses, with the twisting of the Word of God, but the adding to that Word, the things of darkness.

This is happening today on a massive scale, if you study God's Word to any depth, and look around you, you can't help but marvel at what people are willing to accept as the Word of God. In many churches the pastors will not even read more than a verse or two from the Word of God in their sermons, much less teach from it. You can tell what kind of church it is, by observing the flock and seeing their understanding of the Word, and how well they are able to get through the hard times.

Jeremiah 6:6 "For thus hath the LORD of hosts said, Hew ye down trees, and cast a mount against Jerusalem: this is the city to be visited; she is wholly oppression in the midst of her."

God is promising that this is going to come to pass. God is telling us to focus on that city of Jerusalem, that is the place that the Antichrist is going to be visiting. She will also be visited by God Himself, after the false-christ has been there in Jerusalem, claiming he is Christ. 

Paul has tried to warn us in II Thessalonians 2:2, concerning this city of Jerusalem, when He said; "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition," We will not be with the True Jesus Christ until after Satan, the "son of perdition" is revealed, and the apostacy, the "falling away" has come first. Are you going to be one of those trees that are hewed down, and cast into Jerusalem?

Satan will stand in this city of Jerusalem, claiming to be God before the seventh and final trumpet sounds, when Christ returns to end this flesh age. Satan is the false christ, and God has told us that this will come to pass first.

Jeremiah 6:7 "As a fountain casteth out her waters, so she casteth out her wickedness: violence and spoil is heard in her; before me continually is grief and wounds."

When the false-christ comes and rules from Jerusalem, these fountains of lies and deceipt will continue to pour out of Jerusalem, day after day, night after night.

Jeremiah 6:8 "Be thou instructed, O Jerusalem, lest my soul depart from thee; lest I make thee desolate, a land not inhabited."

God is swearing by his own soul and warning you to pay attention. to these events. The first was the physical taking of Jerusalem by the Nebuchadnezzar, who was a type of the false-christ; A blueprint of what is going to happen apiritually in the very near future. And second the lies and supernatural things that Satan will do from that location which is Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 6:9 "Thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall throughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine hand as a grapegatherer into the baskets."

This means, not only gleaning, but stripping off right to the last grape from the smallest vine of the field. They are going to strip God's people clean. These false teachers, and the false shepherds, are doing that right now.

So much of God's Word has been stripped away that most Christians have no idea of what is going on today. As the events of prophecy are taking place, there is not even one grape of truth given from their pulpits to let that remnant of Israel know the trouble that is coming down upon them.

Jeremiah 6:10 "To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it."

There are over five billion people in the world today, and God is asking, "to whom shall I speak, and give warning". There are very few that even have ears to hear and understand, even if the truth was spoken. My fellow Christian, this warning is from the Old Testament and most Christian church houses have already discarded this book from their teaching. They have counted it as history, and have closed their ears to God's types of examples of what would come upon them in the time of the end. They are living in a false belief, and expect to fly away and flea the coming tribulations.

Christian, don't ever scorn the warnings of any part of God's Word, for Jesus Christ himself made Daniel part of the New Testament. Christ also quoted from Jeremiah, Isaiah, Psalms, the Minor Prophets, showing us that those prophecies will come to pass. Paul stated in I Corinthians 10:11; "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come." Paul did not want you to be ignorant of the things that would come upon us at the time of the end. The prophets recorded the past, for examples to tell us, informing us all about these end times.

Jeremiah 6:11 "Therefore I am full of the fury of the LORD; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days."

God is tired of holding back His fury, and He is about to let it all be released. God is going to allow the deception of the instead of Christ [Antichrist] to pour over them, and take them all. The entire families of those calling themselves Christians, as well as the heathen. Those deceptions and lies will be believed by young and old alike, men and women, all will believe that Satan is the true Christ. All that is, except those that are sealed with the Word of God in their minds.

This promise is given in Revelation 9:4; "And it was commanded then that they should no hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads". Your mind is in your forehead, and the seal is the understanding from God's Word of what God has warned us is going to happen. It is the signs, and events that God let us know would come to pass before He brings a close to this earth age of the flesh bodies.

Today the church houses are teaching that those signs are not important to understand, because you will not be here when they happen. They teach that Christians will fly out of here, and not be present when these evil things of the Antichrist come to pass. They place those spiritual deceptions in their member's minds as tribulation being a physical destruction, and thus they refuse to accept the fact that it will be spiritual and that they can and are deceived. They are breaking down all spiritual defenses that God's Word gives us to stand on, so when that time comes, is it any wonder that Christians will be deceived in massive numbers, young and old alike, men and women. And Chriatians desire to believe a lie, and things that are contrary to the Word of God.

You must grow familiar with our Father's Word, and anytime someone tells you that you don't have to understand God's Word, then you are making his traditions your god. When he spouts such talk, that is what he has been taught, and he doesn't know any better, but that doesn't excuse you when you have ears to hear and understand.

Jeremiah 6:12 "And their houses shall be turned unto others, with their fields and wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD."

The deception and the false teachings will lead Christians to the false christ. They will not just go to that son of perdition, but they will give all that they have to him. They will give their heart and minds to him, as well as their goods and wealth, and they will be happy in doing it. They think that they are about to take part in a wedding, and they are, but, it is to the wrong husband.

Then when the true Christ appears at the seventh trumpet, they will stand before Him with a soiled garment, spiritually pregnant from the wrong husband. They will come to Christ and say that they had revivals in your name, and were healed in your name, and so on. Yet Christ will say to them, "get away from me, I know you not."

Are you getting the picture of what is going to happen?

Jeremiah 6:13 "For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely."

False priests, false prophets, false teachers, and false interpretations of the prophecies, and the people lap it up, why? They like to take the easy way out. The rapture theory is their pacifier, because they never grow beyond the sucking baby stage of their spiritual life. That is their security blanket in the form of the traditions of men, and those false prophets/preachers have set it there, and the people love it.

Jeremiah 6:14 "They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace."

One of the primary signs of the end times, is when the one world order stipulates peace, peace, to the world. They try to patch everything up with their false hope, and agreements that are nothing but lies from both sides while the world is dying of the sickness of their false hopes. They are making greater distance between the God that heals His people, and a world that is nothing but deceit and lies. Even our president, and leaders are more concerned in their satanic heathen order, then taking care of the needs of our nation. Watch out for that One World System. Are you at home in that "new world order"?

My fellow Christian, wake up, the alarms are going off, for that is all we hear and strive for today, peace, peace, peace. Paul warned us about this in I Thessalonians 5:1-3; "But of the times and the seasons brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night." For when they shall say, "Peace and safety;" then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."

Jeremiah 6:15 "Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD."

God is saying that when I come back, and those that committed those abominations and were so ignorant that they could not even blush when they were taken by the instead-of-christ, He is going to say, get out of my sight, when they come to Him. They are like those five foolish virgins that had not the fuel in their lamps, the understanding of the Word in their mind, and they were not prepared for the time of the wedding. God just doesn't want them around them, when He comes.

Why do they not blush? And why are they not ashamed? That is what they were taught in their church houses, and seminaries. They tell them the stories that they want to hear, and never rock their little boats. They prick their ears just enough to leave their peace offering in the offering plates on their way out the door. They just don't want to excite anyone or talk about controversial matters, afraid they will go over to another spiritual house of prostitution, or false religion, or form of idolatry and place their offering in their felt lined plate. The reason they are not ashamed is they think they are doing right. And we Christians love the lies. Wake up! Fellow Christian.

Jeremiah 6:16 "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein."

The way is the road that God provided for us, the old paths are the Old Testament, and the good way is what is given from the entire Word of God. When we walk in that old path we will find rest for our souls, not our flesh, but our souls.{Isn't that what is importand?} However, those false teachers and false ministers said, we don't need the Old Testament, and those old laws and statutes, and they shut their ears to the warnings that God is given to His elect, His people that will not be deceived.

What did Christ many times say as He was teaching to the people and to His disciples? "Have you never read?" or "It is written", He constantly reminded them that what He was saying, was written by the prophets of old. He reminded them that it was written in the Word, haven't you ever read it? There was no New Testament at that time, all they had was the writings of the Old Testament. That is the old way, or old path.

Jeremiah 6:17 "Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken."

God is sending His watchmen to warn them as to what is going to happen, telling them to listen to the sound of the trumpet, the Word of God, and they just don't care what is said. Many Christians have closed their minds to the truth because they think that they will be gone anyway. I hope you can see some of the prophetic utterances of the sound of that trumpet that are coming to pass daily in the Word at this time.

Jeremiah 6:18 "Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them."

This is God's promise to you. He is telling you to wake up, and know those that are among you, and what they stand for.

Jeremiah 6:19 "Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it."

God is warning the earth also, of the calamity that is coming. The evil is coming because of the sole reason that God's people have rejected God's Words in favor of those words of the false prophets, from the pulpits of our land, that are leading them. Those ministers of Satan are telling then that they do not not need to know God's Word, and they are believing those lies. When you hear some false shepherd make a statement that God's Word is not to be understood, you will know him for what he is. Those very words are the traditions of men. God is not happy with people that place traditions over what He has to say.

Jeremiah 6:20 "To what purpose cometh there to me incense from Sheba, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me."

God is asking you, what kind of things are you doing in your church to replace my instructions to you. "Sheba" in the Hebrew tongue, means "the oath", or "seven", which means "spiritual completeness." God is asking those in their church houses, what is this that you are passing off as spiritual completeness when it is offensive to me?

Jeremiah 6:21 "Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish."

God is telling them, that if they desire to be deceived, then He will lay the stumblingblocks in front of them to deceive them. God is going to lay some things before them that will transpire, and those things will cause them to stumble and to fall. If they desire to reject the Word of the true Christ, the "Chief Cornerstone" and accept the fake, then I will put these things there that will help them head into their whoredoms.

Satan himself, has gained more from false teachings by many of the so called Chrisian pastors of our land, then from all the pool halls and night clubs in the world. The churches themselves commit the greater offense in their false teaching, and call themselves a Christian church, while putting out the traditions of men and mixing it with idolatries of the world. They just never get around to anything more than their one verse preachers can give. Paul warned us of this in II Thessalonians 2:9-12.

II Thessalonians 2:9 "Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

II Thessalonians 2:10 "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved."

II Thessalonians 2:11 "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:"

II Thessalonians 2:12 "That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

It is God that will send these strong delusions that they all will believe a lie. There is no difference between the New and Old Testament in God's Warnings, for this is just as Jeremiah had warned us. The New Testament was taken from the Old Testament, and that is why they both say the samething. Many Christians already do believe the lies of the false shepherds.

That deception is in their minds, and that is the mark of the beast, and they don't even know it. Christian, you either are wearing the mark of the beast, or you are awake and listening to the Word of God. The "New World Order" is here, and every nation in the world is part of it. The ten agencies of power are in place, and they control most everything that you do today. That is one of the signs just before the end comes.

Jeremiah 6:22 "Thus saith the LORD, Behold, a people cometh from the north country, and a great nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth."

Remember Revelation Chapter 9? The earth will almost be darkened with the number of the deceivers that are coming. That army of deceivers is the locust army of Joel 1 and Revelation 9, and they will cover the earth at their arrival. The preachers and leaders of the churches will run to them, with their knee bowing, and their leader is none other than Satan himself. They will think him to be Jesus, as he struts forth on the earth, and claims himself to be the Messiah.

Jeremiah 6:23 "They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against thee, O daughter of Zion."

My fellow Christian, this is not about physical warfare, but the battle is a spiritual battle. They are out to deceive and  trick you into worshipping Satan. That is why you need the Gospel armor on and in place. The battlefield is not an earthly field, but is in your mind. Their bows and spears are the words and teachings that they give, and the battle is fought with ideas, and the twisting of the very Word of God.

They will be claiming peace, peace, but they will be bringing a new religion, and system of worship. They are bringing a new Jesus, and not the one that went to the cross to pay the price for your sins. For Christ to be a stumbling block then there must be someone in His place playing the role of Christ. That is what "instead of Christ" or the Antichrist is. It is going to happen.

Jeremiah 6:24 "We have heard the fame thereof: our hands wax feeble: anguish hath taken hold of us, and pain, as of a woman in travail."

We are about to come into the birth of a new age, and this is the travail that is mentioned in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. The prophecies that are being fulfilled daily are those labor pains to the travail of the birth of a new age.

Jeremiah 6:25 "Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side."

Today, that is all you hear daily in the news, on the street corners, and even in the churches. That sword is the deceptions that are part of the coming of Satan and his religious system. It is the New World Order, and the false peace that will come from it.

Jeremiah 6:26 "O daughter of my people, gird thee with sackcloth, and wallow thyself in ashes: make thee mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler shall suddenly come upon us."

God is telling you, the elect of God, for the spoiler is about to come upon us. Do you know who that spoiler is? He is the destroyer, the wicked one, coming in peacefully and with flatteries. He will work miracles, and do things in a miraculus way, as he tells everyone that He is Jesus. Only he is lying and is a fake. Most Christians don't know this because they do not know the Word of God, and they will believe him. Will you?

Jeremiah 6:27 "I have set thee for a tower and a fortress among my people, that thou mayest know and try their way."

God is saying that He is going to set His people amongst them, so that they can check out what is being said, and then will know the truth. God will place His elect to separate the sheep from the goats, and lead those that want to know the truth.

Jeremiah 6:28 "They are all grievous revolters, walking with slanders: they are brass and iron; they are all corrupters."

When God's elect try their words as one would try silver and gold, they will find that all the people of the world are rebellious and revolters against God, even slanderers of His Word. They are not the silver and gold, but nothing but brass and iron, and corrupters of the true value of God's Word.

Jeremiah 6:29 "The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away."

God is saying, stoke up the fire, and let's test their metal. Test them in the fire of God's Word, His consuming fire, and see the wickedness that they are.

Jeremiah 6:30 "Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the LORD hath rejected them."

They are nothing but "reprobate silver" that have no value to our Lord and Savior. Jesus will tell them to get out of His sight, and that He never knew them. How could they have healed in Jesus Christ's name, when they didn't know the difference between the true Christ, and the fake christ (satan)? Don't think you can be deceived and wallow with the fake Christ, and put on righteous robes when the true Christ returns later.

When you are spiritually with child by the Antichrist, and then try to pass yourself off as a virgin when the true Christ returns for his bride. My fellow Christian,, you will stand there impregnated as a religious whore when the true Christ returns, at the sounding of that final trumpet, and that is why Jesus said in Matthew 24:19 "And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!" Christ is teaching in a very earthly way, whereby you can understand exactly what He thinks of those that will climb in bed with the false christ. It is time to pay attention to what is going on around us. We cannot participate in the wedding of the true Messiah, if we have already married Satan, the Antichrist, at the first wedding.
