Please Note: Genesis 1:1 does not say they were both created at the same time. It may have been millions of years after He created the heaven, that He created the earth.

God created the world that then was (the first earth age) as a home for us to live in along with the pre-historic flesh and blood animals; dinosaurs and such, with our brother Lucifer, a fellow angelic being, as our priest and leader. He created the earth perfect, as He always does when He creates, and He created it to be inhabited by all His angelic children.

#5101   It is unfortunate that traditional Christianity does not teach about the first earth age that existed back when Satan rebelled.
#4083  I used to think that when Paul was taken to a third heaven it meant he was taken to one which was three times better then the current heaven. How wrong I was!
 
 

The only problem being, Lucifer thought he could be like God, even in place of God, and he lead approximately 1/3 of us to follow him in his profane deeds in the first earth age. It is revealed to us in Revelation 12:4. It is the reason that you and I are here on this earth, in these flesh bodies, today! Rev. 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Oh, Satan drew 1/3 of God's children into his camp of deception and caused their downfall, "brought them down" as we say, cast them to the earth! Got it? There's now big trouble in God's family! One third of His children have forsaken Him.

Do you not know who the stars of heaven are? They are us! The host of heaven, the sons of God.
Genesis 37:9  And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. Do you have any doubt that the "eleven stars" were Joseph's eleven brothers and that "me" is Joseph himself.  Stars don't make obeisance! Men make obeisance!
Job 38:7  When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? Do you have any doubt that the "morning stars" were all our brothers ans sisters? Stars don't sing! men sing!
Revelation 22:16  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Jesus is the bright and morning star.
