My Note: Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? Ref. Scripture Isaiah 28:9-13
To whom shall God teach knowledge
Scripture: Isaiah
28:9 ¶Whom shall he teach knowledge?
and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them
that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from
the breasts.
10 For
precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line
upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering
lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This
is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing:
yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the
LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon
line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might
go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken
You cannot just continue to go to church Sunday after Sunday, receiving only the salvation message and an occasional invitation to accept JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR; in many so called Christian churches not even that. John 3:16 is important but it's only milk (see Isaiah 28:9) You must be weaned from milk! You must really get to know the Lord through His word and that only happens as per Isaiah 28:10-13. Or else, how will you recognize Satan when he comes to earth ahead of Christ, claiming that he is Christ.
Is your Church teaching God's word line upon line and precept upon precept?
If not beware! Jesus said, in Matt. 7:22 "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?" [23] "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
These are the "Many" Christians Jesus prophesied WOULD BE deceived by the false preachers who come in His name, claiming to be Christ's representatives, and teach the people after the "precepts of men" and not directly from the Word of God.
He warned us not to be among them!
Paul also warned us not to be deceived by any man!
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits;
to understand it, the highest of all goals.
