My Note: End time famine Ref. Scripture Amos 8:11
I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Scripture: Amos 8:1
¶Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer
fruit.
2 And he said, Amos, what
seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto
me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by
them any more.
3 And the songs of the
temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be
many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
4 ¶Hear this, O ye
that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
5 Saying, When will the
new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set
forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying
the balances by deceit?
6 That we may buy the
poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse
of the wheat?
7 The LORD hath sworn
by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.
8 Shall not the land tremble
for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise
up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood
of Egypt.
9 And it shall come to
pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down
at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
10 And I will turn your
feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring
up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make
it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.
Amos 8:11 ¶Behold,
the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land,
not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words
of the LORD:
12 And they shall wander
from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to
and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
13 In that day shall the
fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
14 They that swear by
the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of
Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.
Amos declares that in these last
days there would be (and
there is) a great "famine,
not for bread or a thirst for water,
but of hearing the words of the Lord (Amos 8:11-13)".
We live in the most exciting Biblical era in the history of this flesh age.
In fact, we live in "those days" that the disciples
and the prophets of God spoke about and wrote about
and desired so much to see in their mind's eye even a
glimpse of what "these days" would be like,
the days immediately preceding the return of Yeshua Messiah.
Of course, not all that they wrote concerning these days was good news.
For example, they warned time and
time again that our people would go into bondage (code word "Egypt")
with "taskmasters" and all.
And so it has come to pass in this
nation that our people have truly become economic serfs
through the bondage of a "debt
system" economy founded upon unholy usury
and through oppressive taxation,
much of which is disguised as licensing fees, permit fees, etc.
Let's see, the statisticians tell
us that average Americans must work at least 5.5 months,
which is from Jan. 1 to mid May,
just to pay their taxes.
Add on top of that all the usury from mortgages, credit cards, car loans, college loans, etc.
Then, after paying all the utility bills there are very few dollars left in many households which they can call their own.
And do you think there are no taskmasters?
Try skipping a few mortgage payments and see if the whip doesn't start cracking.
Or do not pay your local school taxes and see how long you maintain ownership of your property.
The taxmaster will come taketh it away!
The prophets, and the Prophet of prophets Himself,
also warned us of the great spiritual deception
that would befall us in these last days because of the
MANY Christian ministers
who would come and teach the traditions of men
and not the Word of God line by line and verse by verse
whereby our people could discern between that which is
right and wrong, clean and unclean,
and between that which is holy (Christ) and that which
is profane (the Antichrist)!
In fact, in this very Book Amos declares that in
these last days there would be
(and there is) a great
"famine,
not for bread or a thirst for water,
but of hearing the words of the Lord (Amos 8:11-13)".
And so it is that we live in the
days of spiritual and religious "confusion"
amidst the oppression of the first
Beast of Rev. 13:1 known secularly as the New World Order.
If you want to see what condition America, the
largest of the 10 tribes of the House of Israel,
is in during these latter days just before the great
harvest?
Log unto and read our pamphlets under Amos in the Table of Contents to the left of this screen. Amos describes her/America "two years before the great earthquake".
Sadly, she has become an harlot
and is steeped in religious confusion (tumult, Babylon),
and suffers under political and economic oppression.
And the Hidden Dynasty of Education
continues to blow from the four winds (N.E.W.S.)
a dark smokescreen straight from
the bottomless pit into the eyes and ears of our people
so that many cannot see the sunlight
of truth
nor the unholy beast who now wields
the power of the Four Hidden Dynasties
(Economics,
Religion,
Politics
and
Education).

There
should be many skillful teachers in this land of the free and home of brave
teaching the words of Amos the herdsman and his fellow prophets!
WHERE
ARE THEY?
We learned in an earlier study that those who are Biblically illiterate, the unwise virgins of the House of Israel, will be taught by the Zadok (the Just, i.e. God's elect) in the Millennium the difference between the holy and the profane and how to discern between good and evil (Ezek. 44:23).
Why? We also learned that! It is because they just want to have their preachers say googoogaagaa and tell them what cute and good little Christians they are. They do not want to hear any of the Lion's "roaring" from the words of the prophets!! They say, "PROPHESY NOT", remember?
And so it is! The many who have come in Christ's name do not teach the prophets and the Lion of Judah DOES NOT LIKE IT! He HAS ROARED throughout the prophets but who will listen and fear Him? Who will teach His Words?Amos 2:12
But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.
Amos 3:8
The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?
Mark 13:23
But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
You have the very word of the Creator
of the Universe and the Father of your soul in your possession!
Yes Christian, the little black book, the one
laying on your coffee table gathering dust!
The Lion of Judah has already ROARED and there should be many skillful teachers in this land of the free and home of brave teaching the words of Amos the herdsman and his fellow prophets!
WHERE ARE THEY?
Thank God there are some.
Thank God for the sons and daughters who love studying
His Word!
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits;
to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy
Spirit, you accomplish both.
