The
Bible version differences will only end when those that claim to be
fundamental in the faith recognize that one book stands alone (The 1611
King James Bible) in presenting those fundamentals of the faith and
that all other versions are simply pawns in the hands of Satan.
All other newer, supposedly easier to read versions, based on
Alexandra, Egypt manuscripts (Satan's manuscripts) with additional word
changes to qualify for copyright financial protection are corrupted.
When you change words in one area without regard to similar verses, you
end up with contradictions like the following:
(NIV) John 5:31 "If I testify about myself,
my testimony is not valid."
(NIV) John 8:14 Jesus answered, "Even if I testify on my own behalf,
my testimony is valid...
(NKJV) John 5:31 'If I bear witness of Myself, My witness
is
not true.
(NKJV) John 8:14 Jesus answered and said to them, "Even if I
bear witness of Myself, My witness
is
true...
Contradiction and Confusion!
Man's (666) tampering with the Word of God has negatively
impacted the whole world. The most disheartening result within the
church has been the creation of a very shallow type of Christianity.
Nothing seems to please Satan more than producing superficial
Christians. Regretfully, we have yet to fully witness the devastating
outcomes caused by the modern versions phenomenon. The consequences of
their acceptance have been compounding at an alarming rate. Today, the
majority of professing Christians have grown accustomed to complacently
standing by while God's truths are ignored and perverted. Shamefully,
those who profess to be making the Bible so easy to understand have
caused the most serious damage.
The modern day Bible "correctors" with their easy to read versions have
helped produce a type of Christianity that lacks authority and
backbone. Too many church members want to be spoon-fed "the Word" in
small easily digestible portions contrary to God's method of spiritual
growth. God wants newborn baby
Christians to grow up and enjoy the spiritual meat of His Word (Hebrews
5:12-14). The Lord designed His Word so that only those who truly love
Him will obediently and faithfully study it can unlock
its innermost secrets. Those who reject its infallibility are
doomed to view it as a closed book--unworthy of the effort necessary to
discover its truths.
False Bibles are no better than a cheap counterfeit bill. All of us
must learn to recognize the counterfeits. The best method by which to
discern whether the modern versions are corrupt is to compare them to
the real thing--the 1611 King James Bible, and you will be able to
identify the counterfeit.
For example, let's look at the above two verses from John as translated
in the (KJB)
(KJB) John 5:31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness
is
not true.
(KJB) John 8:14 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record
of myself, yet my record
is
true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye
cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
When we compare scripture with scripture in the King James Bible we
gain clarity and spiritual understanding. When we compare scripture
with scripture in the modern versions, we see contradiction and
confusion. God is not the author of these modern perversions.
The modern versions consistently fall into their own traps. Their
translators claim to translate a single Greek word
identically every time it is used in the scriptures.
That is why the NIV uses testimony in both verses and the
NKJV uses witness both times. The same Greek word can be translated
either way.
However, the 1611 King James translators were led by the Holy Spirit
of God to translate the same Greek word two different ways because they had received understanding of the context.
God blessed their efforts, and today we are blessed by their work and
willingness to submit to the leading of the Spirit of God.
Since
the King James translators used "witness" in chapter 5 and
"record" in chapter 8, Christ does not contradict Himself in the 1611
King James Bible. So, when we study and consider the difference
between the two words as we have done in this study we can see and
understand the truth.
When we compare scripture with
scripture, in the King James Bible we gain clarity and spiritual
understanding. When we compare scripture with scripture in the modern
versions, we see contradiction and confusion. God is not the author of
confusion any more than He is the author of these modern perversions.
Any diligent Bible student will arrive at this conclusion every time.
Does that make sense? Yes, if we don't do our homework and study and
rightly divide, then we will most assuredly fall short of the complete
understanding that our Father intended for us.
II Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth
not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
God expects us to work to find TRUTH.
Does that make sense? Yes, if we don't do our homework and study and
rightly divide, then we will most assuredly fall short of the complete
understanding that our Father intended for us.
Some of you may ask, "Why is it, that the Bible is written in such a
divided fashion that one must go digging for the truth?"
The answer is, "so that when you go digging for it, you'll find it!" And the Lord will know you cared enough to search.
