Caution to students of God's Word - Please remember two things when using our studies: #1. Our commentary is not God's Word. It is only our interpretation or understanding of "His Word" and even though we try our best to be accurate we may or may not be correct. #2. The King James translation, or any other translation, of the original Hebrew text has some words which were given different translations at different places probably because of the interpreters preconceived ideas of what they think God meant to say. For example: According to the notes in the "Dake's Annotated Reference Bible" the Hebrew word hayah in the KJV is Trans. (became) 67 times, (becamest or came to pass) 505 times, (become) 66 times, and (come to pass) 131 times, but for some reason in Genesis 1:2 it is translated (was)! That sure changes the way a person perceives the original creation of the earth, doesn't it? Gen. 1:2 And the earth was (became) without form, ... Having said that, let us continue with our "Key Knowledge" lessons. These are pamphlets containing knowledge, we believe, you must have to fully and accurately unlock and understand the Word of God.

Without the leading by the Holy Spirit, there is no understanding of the truths, for all the truth of the Scriptures are revealed to us by God's Spirit.

The Apocalypse of Isaiah continues on from chapter twenty four into this chapter twenty five. These chapters of Isaiah are a lay-over of the book of Revelation of John and gives us a second witness of how it shall be on the Lord's day, the last day of this earth age. In Isaiah 24:21 we came to the day of the return of Jesus Christ, so in this twenty fifth chapter we have a message that we can evangelize from. This is a message that we can give out to bring souls to the understanding of the Love of God for His children. We can see the mood of those that truly love the Lord here in the closing moments of the Apocalypse, the great deception. The word Apocalypse means a revelation, or to reveal.

Isaiah 25:1 "O Lord, Thou art my God; I will exalt Thee, I will praise Thy name; for Thou hast done wonderful things; Thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth."

He is not some fake but the creator of our souls. God the Father's name in the Hebrew tongue is YHVH. God has done many wonderful deeds, and He is the same yesterday as He is today, and will be tomorrow. You can count on Him, and the counsel that we receive from His Word. You can count on His counsel of the Old testament today, for it was written for us living in the final generation of this earth age. He is faithful to those that believe on His name, in giving us the details of what we cn expect in our generation to prepare for the great deception that is coming on the whole earth. Once you know what tomorrow is bringing then the fear is removed, and a peace comes over your soul. For we know that when we are in the love of God we have no fear for God takes care of His own. Our Heavenly Father watches over those that love Him.

Isaiah 25:2 "For Thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built."

Many scholars have taught that this city was Babylon, and in a sense, Babylon was a type of this city. However this is the Babylon of the New Testament, of the Babylon of Revelation seventeen and eighteen.

YES! "Mystery Babylon" Every living human being needs to read and understand what "Mystery Babylon" is all about. Your eternal life depends on it! God warned us in Revelation 18:4 to "Come out of her" Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. But, Come out of what? You Need to Know!

You must use the word "Meggido" in describing the destruction, or the heap, for Jesus said in Matthew 24:1-3 as the disciples stood marvelling at the structures of the temple; in the end there shall not be left one stone standing upon another. "Meggido" means the gathering place of the crowd and this crowd is the people that come together during the time of the Apocalypse, which is the five months that Satan is on earth playing the role as the false christ, or Antichrist.

Though many say that this destruction is what happened when the Roman general Titus destroyed Jerusalem in 70 A.D. However when a person tours Jerusalem today, we can see that this is not so, for much of the wall of the Temple is still left standing. When our Lord Returns to earth the old Jerusalem Temple will by turned to sand, and completely destroyed. This verse is talking about the day of the return of Christ when His feet touch the mount of Olives, and splits it in two, and prepares a way to the east gate. Then God Himself will reclaim Jerusalem, and this will be after the reign of Satan, the Antichrist.

This then gives us a time element for this chapter, for when this happens and the destruction takes place, we are in the first day of the Millennium age.

Isaiah 25:3 "Therefore shall the strong people glorify Thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear Thee."

In that first day of the Millennium age, all people will glorify Jesus Christ, and even the ruthless people of this earth age of the flesh will know who Jesus is, and respect Him. When they see Jesus power and the downfall of Jerusalem, and see their world ruler Satan thrown into the pit, they will have complete respect for Christ.

Romans 14:11 "For it is written, "As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God."

Romans 14:12 "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."

When Jesus Christ returns on that great and glorious day, every knee shall bow, and every person on the face of the earth will know exactly who He is, and will know in their minds that they have been deceived by the false christ, Satan. All that is except those that have been sealed in their minds ahead of arrival and to them it will be a time of joy. The "hour of temptation", most Christians are hoping their false rapture theory will help them escape from; But the escape can only take place through the truth and knowledge that comes from God's Word. For when you know that Satan comes first, and that Satan will present himself as the Christ, and God will give him supernatural powers to deceive those that do not have the truth sealed in their minds, you will not be tempted to follow him.

If you know that Satan is coming first and that you will not see Jesus Christ and His return until the end of this earth age of the flesh, then if someone supernatural does appear and claim to be Christ, he will be an abomination to you. If you are still in your flesh body, and there are still things of idolatry around you, statues of any form of heathen and religious diety, then that person you're seeing is a fake. If the sick are still sick and the old are still old, then that supernatural power is a fake, and an abomination unto the Lord.

Are you starting to get the picture? The things of the flesh will be ended, when Christ returns, to start the Millennium age. You will no longer be in your flesh and blood body. If you are in your flesh body and the things of the flesh are still here, that supernatural power is a fake, he is the Antichrist, the dragon, the serpent, or any of the many roles that he has played in this earth age. The false Christ is coming first with all sorts of supernatural powers, with promises to each and every soul that will listen to him. Satan will have the power to make you rich, or famous, or what every it take to attack your weekness. How much is your soul worth, to you? How much will you sell it to Satan for? Daniel talks about Satan's coming in Daniel 8:23-25.

Daniel 8:23 "And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up."

The 3 1/2 year period spoken of in Revelation 9:5 that Satan and his fallen angels arrive on earth, Christ has shortened to five months. The Kenites and the traditions of men will have prepared the people including most Christians to accept Him. We are told in Ephesians 6:10-20 that the warfare that Satan will bring is not with guns, but with words and ideas. Satan is an expert in the Word of God, and that is why we are not to do battle with him, for we would lose. We are not to premeditate what we shall say when confronted, but allow the Holy Spirit of God to speak through us at that time.

Daniel 8:24 "And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy People."

The only powers that Satan has is the powers that God will give him for that time, and those powers will be supernatural. Though the world will be dazzeled by his tricks those sealed in their mind will look upon him as a trickster; knowing the fake that he is. Even most of the Christians living today will be taken in by his words, and his powers. When they do, they shall receive their rewards that Satan will give them, only they will lose right standing before our Heavenly Father. They will become the whores of the great harlot, the Babylon religious system of Revelation.

Daniel 8:25 "And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand."

The moment a person falls for Satan the Antichrist and his tricks and deceit, he or she will prosper in his hand and their heart will magnify Satan thinking he is the true Christ. However, that glory Satan gives is for only a few months. On that day when Satan stands in the holy place in Jerusalem, after he has murdered the two witnesses of God, they will even take part in that world wide three and a half day celebration spoken of in Revelation 11:11. Those that are deceived will even be happy as they watch on their television the bodies of God's holy ones decay in the streets of Jerusalem.

However the most sickning act that the world will take part in is when Satan then stands in that holy place in Jerusalem and declares himself to be God. That act is what Jesus calls the "abomination of desolation", Daniel calls it the "the abomination of the desolator". The abomination is the act of calling himself God, and the desolation is because the entire world, including most Christians will believe it to be true.

When this happens, Isaiah is declaring here that the city of Jerusalem will become a ruin, and that old religious system that is called Mystery Babylon of Revelation will be destroyed and gone forever. That is when Satan will be destroyed not by a hand but by the two edged sword, which is the Word that comes for out of Jesus Christ's mouth at His return.

Isaiah 25:4 "For Thou hast been a strength to the poor a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall."

God has been a strength to the humble those that respect Him and turn to Him for help. Those are the ones that love God and try their best to obey His Word. The person that puts their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and turns to the Father for help does not have to fear for anything. You can count on every word of the promises that He has made in His Word. When you study His Word, and use common sense from the instruction given there for your daily walk, God will do the rest of it for you.

It doesn't mean that you will never fall, but you will become so full of faith that it doesn't matter if a little trouble come your way, you can handle it. When you are following His Word, God will never place more upon you then you can handle. That is His promise. God has promised us that when the difficulties come, He will always provide a way out of that difficulty, and you can believe that.

Isaiah 25:5 "Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low."

This is saying that on that day of the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, those that have been deceived by Satan, and believed him to be the Messiah will have nother to sing about. We will have the victory, and we have it now, if you claim it, and we have the skill from His Word to apply to our daily life. We are already in the victory.

Isaiah 25:6 "And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, and fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined."

"This mountain" is mount Zion, the place where Jesus Christ returns. At Christ's return all people will receive the best of everything from Him. "Wine on the lees" means the best of the wines, and "fat things full of marrow" is in reference the "wheat and the very kidney of it", not as it is done today. "Wine on the lees well refined" means that the wine has aged well. This then is in reference to the fact that when Jesus comes He will provide the best that there is. Can you see His love in this for His children? All the people will receive this, not just the elect.

This is the start of the Millennium age, and all souls will have understood the wrongs that they have done in this earth age, and have full understanding of God and His ways. It will be a thousand year period of strict discipline to His ways. God's wrath has already gone forth, and the evil of this age is gone when this feast takes place. God's elect and those that did not take part in Satan's system have their rewards, and are in their eternal bodies with immortal souls. God is establishing His kingdom here on earth, and all the earth will be part of that kingdom.

Isaiah 25:7 "And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations."

This vail is spoken of by Paul in Romans 11 where by many Christians will have placed over them a "spirit of slumber", and in the Greek it is a "stupor" that will prevent them from committing the unforgivable sin. Of knowing the truth, but preventing the Holy Spirit of God to speak through them.

Romans 11:7 "What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded"

Romans 11:8 "(According as it is written, "God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear",) unto this day."

Romans 11:9 "And David saith, "Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:"

Romans 11:10 "Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway."

This is the deceptive vail that is covering most Christians today, that will not allow them to see the truth, even when it is presented to them. This vail is also given in Ezekiel 13, where God talks about His daughters that like to prophecy certain things, and God tells us to prophecy against them.

Ezekiel 13:18 "And say, 'Thus saith the Lord God; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of My People, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?"

ln other words, they cover the truth with their traditions and false doctrines. God is the Savior and not the religionist.

Ezekiel 13:19 "And will ye pollute Me among My people for handfuls of barley and for peices of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to My People that hear your lies?"

God is asking, are you going to teach for money? What are they lying about? They are covering the truth of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and what the the Word of God teaches about it.

Ezekiel 13:20 "Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; 'Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly."

Remember that these "pillows" are the coverings, their false doctrines that cover the truth with a false sense of security, so that the people of God will not prepare themselves for the false christ, Satan. They will think that they will fly away in their rapture doctrine, and at Satan's arrival to earth receive him as the true Christ. There is nobody flying anywhere in a rapture, and that is a damnable lie. If you accept it you have already taken the mark of the beast, for it will brand you for accepting the first supernatural christ that comes, and he is Satan.

God is telling us to prophecy against it, teach against it so that His elect will not be fooled by them. Satan is coming first to deceive the world, and after Satan, the Antichrist's, time is over, then Jesus Christ the true Messiah is coming to earth and this feast of Isaiah is going to take place right here on earth. Then at Christ's coming, He is saying, I am going to take that kerchief, that vail that is covering their eyes and rip it away so that each of His children can see and understand the truth. That is the feast that shall come.

Those that know the truth are the one that God calles "the remnant", the Elect of God", and they are those in our generation that will be sealed in their mind with the word of God, to see the abomination that takes place while Satan is deceiving the entire earth. That covering that is now covering the spiritual eyes of our people, and giving them a false hope will be ripped away at the coming of Jesus, and then they will know the truth.

Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His People shall He take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it."

The rebuke against God's election as they teach the truth is going to be removed. Why? Because every soul will be in their incorruptable body and see and know the truth. Those that are selling the lie today, even in ignorance, will know the truth. If they are evil enough to want to peddle some form of a lie then, they will be removed because there will be no evil to disturb at this time. Even Satan will be in the pit, and his fallen angels destroyed.

This verse pinpoints when death is taken away, it is at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, and Paul discusses this in I Corinthians 15:50-54.

I Corinthians 15:50 "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."

No flesh and blood will exist when Jesus Christ returns to this earth; you will not exist in your flesh body.

I Corinthians 15:51 "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,"

Paul is saying that this mystery is that a time is coming when all the people still living on the earth at Hisvreturn will not die but be changed from their flesh body into their celestial body. "All shall be changed", good and bad alike in this earth age.

I Corinthians 15:52 "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

When this happens it will be faster then you can wink your eye, and it shall take place at the last trump. This is why you will not see Jesus Christ while still in your flesh body, for at His coming you will not be in your flesh and blood body. You and I and every person on the face of the earth will be in their non-aging, unable to get sick, incorruptable body. Even the "dead", the spiritually dead that do not know the Lord, will be changed and receive their new bodies that will know the truth.

I Corinthians 15:53 "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."

Remember that flesh and blood can not enter into the Kingdom of God, so when Jesus Christ comes to set up His Millennium kingdom, all flesh bodies must put on their incorruptable bodies. Mortal means "liable to die", and there will be no death to anyone in the Millennium age. What souls are not worthy to enter into the eternal kingdom will be done away with after the Millennium age, and the great white throne judgment.

I Corinthians 15:54 "So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory."

I Corinthians 15:55 "O Death where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"

In other words, all are changed in an instant into their spiritual bodies whereby they will all come to this feast spoken of by Isaiah, and Satan is placed in the pit for that thousand years.

Revelation 20:1 "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand."

Revelation 20:2 "And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,"

Revelation 20:3 "And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season."

Satan's evil thoughts and influence will not be able to influence people until this Millennium age is over. God is going to allow all souls to hear the truth, and understand it completely, and then be tested again at the end of that Millennium age,when Satan will be released for a very short season to test those prior to judgment. (The Great White Throne of Judgment)

In this earth age, we recieve eternal salvation by faith in Jesus Christ, and by the repentence for our sins in Jesus name. That saving power is in the blood of Christ, and when ye believe in His Christ's blood sacrifice, we are released from the guilt that our sins place on us. In Christ those sins are removed, and we stand justified before the Father, just as if those sins were never commited.

In the Millennium age salvation will be by your works and deeds only, for there is no faith possible during the Millunnium, Christ will be here for all to see. All souls will know absolutely about the finished works of Christ, for Jesus will be here on earth with us. This is not giving them a second chance, for they did not even have the first chance, with what is taught today as being the Word of God.

Isaiah 25:9 "And it shall be said in that day, "Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation."

"That day" is the day of the Lord, the day that is spoken of in this chapter. We are not taken out of season when we have waited for His return at the seventh trumpet. Are you going to wait for the true Messiah or are you going to be taken by the false Christ? If you will wait on Him He will save you, and this is stated twice for emphesis. There is no reason that you should be deceived because His Word has given us the chronological order of events that shall come to pass.

Isaiah 25:10 "For in this mountain shall the hand of the Lord rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under Him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill."

In Mount Zion shall the hand of the Lord rule. God is comparing "Moab" and the straw that is mixed with manure in a dunghill. Do you know how to swim in manure? Moab was Lot's son, and the Moabites burned their own sons alive to follow Molech worship. They were the ones that would burn you with their false religions. God is saying that if you allow yourself to be taken by any heathen religion, it is like swimming in a manure pile. You can swim in water, but there is no swimming in manure, you are going under.

Isaiah 25:11 "And He shall spread forth His hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and He shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands."

God really knew how to express truth. I believe that swimming through a lake of manure would bring down the pride of any person. God is saying that when you stretch for your hand to one of these false religions or doctrines, in the end that is what your pride will be like when you face the true Christ. This is speaking in a spiritual sense and in that day of Christ's coming there will be nothing in the way of that one world system that will give any pride to a soul. Stop and think for a moment, How should one that should have known the truth yet worshipped Satan feel? That's right, like they have been swimming through a manure pile.

Isaiah 25:12 "And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall He bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust."

This is Moab's fortress, when they have been involved in false religions and false teachings. There is no reason that you should be ignorant about when the true Christ comes, for the time is given by Christ in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, and they are the same seven trumpets, and the first six shall happen before Jesus Christ returns at the seventh trumpet. Jesus gave us the seven events that shall happen, but before He gives us the trumpets, He gives us a command that we see that we are not deceived before hand. It is that many shall come in Christ's name claiming to be Christ's teachers and preachers, and deceive many, but He didn't send them.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals. We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
