Jeremiah vision
If we
look at Jeremiah's vision of the earth (Jer.
4:23-26) it
was without form and void; and had no light and the mountains trembled
and the hills moved. And there were no men and all the birds were gone.
He said the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities were
broken down because of the Lord's anger. He must
have seen the earth as it is described inGen. 1:2 and as Peter described it in 2 Peter 3:
6 because the earth has never been empty and waste
and dark since the six days of God's activity as described in Gen. 1:3 to 2:25.
The only time the sun and stars were not allowed to give light was the
period before the six days. They have been giving light ever since.
There never has been a time or will be a time when there were no men on
earth since then. Yet
Jeremiah said all the cities were gone and no men were there.
How can this be?
What
was
happening on earth between (Gen.
1:1), Isaiah's
vision of the inhabited earth or (2
Peter 3:5 Peter's
description of the earth standing out of the water and; (Gen.
1:2) Jeremiah's
vision of the flooded, empty and void earth or (2
Peter 3:6) Peter's
overflowed earth?
Pastor,
You
pray. A voice in your mind says, ‘Do not fear.
Put on
my armor. Feed my sheep. Tell my people the truth.’
Then
slowly and reluctantly, but with courageous
resolve, you prepare a sermon on
verses six and seven of the twenty-sixth
chapter of the Book of Acts.
It
is only a remnant of
the
ancient "House of Judah", Judahiats
and Benjaminites, that were left out af all twelve tribes
of ancient
Israelites, for Nebuchadnezzar to take to Babylon in 586BC.
These are the "Good Figs"
who
along with the "Bad Figs", i.e. "the Strangers",
the Bible calls them, who have mixed in with them,
that today make up the population of the little country in
the middle east we call Israel..
Ref. Scripture 2
Kings 19:4
...,
lift up thy prayer for the remnant
who are
left.
2 Kings 19:4 It may be the LORD thy God
will hear all the words of
Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach
the
living God; and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath
heard:
wherefore
lift up thy prayer for
the remnant that are left.
Question -
Where are the bulk of the people from the ancient House of Judah?
Answer - Most of the
Judahiats
and Banjaminites from the House
of Judah are scattered throughout Europe and the Americas, along with
the House of Israel which
Assyria carried away 150 years earlier.
Additional relevant
scripture. 2 Kings 18:9-13 2
Kings 18:9 And it came to pass in the
fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son
of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up
against
Samaria, and besieged it.
10
And at
the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year of
Hezekiah,
that is the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken.
11
And
the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria,
and put them in
Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities
of the Medes:
12
Because
they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his
covenant,
and all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded, and would not
hear
them, nor do them.
13 Now in
the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did
Sennacherib
king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took
them.
Note:
The majority of the Judahaits
and Benjaminites were taken away by the Assyrians not the
Babylonians! (see verse 13 above)
It wasn't until 140 years later that
the remaining residents of the ancient House of Judah, a remnant,
were taken captive by the Babylonians.
It was this remnant of the House of Judah
and their descendants who were preserved to set the stage in the Holy
Land
for the coming of Christ the Messiah.
Note:
James addresses his epistle
to all twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, verifying the
dispersion of "The House
of Judah" along with "The House of Israel".
James
1:1 James,
a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad,
greeting.

and #1020. From
745-721 B.C., all ten tribes of the House of Israel along with most of
the House of Judah were taken captive
and driven by the Assyrians into the Caucasus region between the Black
and Caspian Seas. The
remnant that was left in Judea of
the "House of Judah" was then taken
to Babylon during the conquering of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzor in
586BC,
135 years after their brothern of the House of Israel and the
House of Judah were captured by their Assyrian conquerors!
