Habakkuk was obviously a watchman, even a type of the watchmen of this final generation, and he fully expects he will receive an answer from our Father. But notice what he does in order to receive that answer! He stands upon the watch! To "stand" means to "continue" or to "endure". I.e., Habakkuk is going to continue doing his duty as a watchman which is to "set himself upon the "tower".Habakkuk 2
Habakkuk 2:1 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
Here, in chapter 2 of Habakkuk, our Father is going to give a very detailed answer to Habakkuk's question and instruct Habakkuk, a type of his watchman on duty in the last days, at the appointed time, to do something!
Psalm 91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
To that end, we have "seen" so far in the first chapter of the book bearing his name, that the prophet Habakkuk was shown a vision of the iniquity and the oppression and captivity and spoiling (looting) of His people in this final generation in the 21st. century!
Then after seeing the vision, Habakkuk asked our Father why he must be shown this awful heartrending sight to which the LORD replied "it is His plan to bring forth the Chaldeans to march upon the breadth and width of the whole earth as 'His rod' of chastisement and correction."
In fact God even goes so far as to call, "Satan and his Army of Locusts" His army, because He/God is allowing them to march upon us! For a reason!!!!!
Habakkuk said, "OK, I understand, O LORD my God, the Eternal Holy One,
that you have established them for correction" (Hab. 1:12), but... "I know, O LORD, that you cannot stand the sight of evil and the deeds of wicked men, so would you explain to me why it is that you use and permit such iniquity and wickedness to devour 'those more righteous than he' and 'How long' are you going to allow it to continue?"
Habakkuk knew that God would answer
his questions if he waited and watched
and diligently sought Him through
His Word.
So will God answer our questions after the same manner.
Let us now see and understand, directly from our Father, the answers to Habakkuk's inquiries.
We Christians in this final generation of the fig tree who have been given the privilege to go through the "dark hour", need to know and understand the depth and purpose of God's Plan, revealed right here in Habakkuk, if we are to endure unto the end (spiritually)! when the abomination of desolation, the desolator spoken of by Daniel the prophet, comes and takes the world by storm. So God instructs Habakkuk to "write the vision (which He is about to reveal to him) and make it plain (clear and legible) upon the tables". The "tables" back then were box-wood tables covered with wax on which national affairs were engraved with an iron pen and then hung up in a public location, either at the temple or at the prophet's own houses, so that those who passed by might read them and spread the word.Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
So let us read it and run with it, for the vision is for our day!
Do you get the picture? The "vision" is for an "appointed time", even "The appointed time, the time of the end when iniquity shall abound and the love of many shall wax cold". And because we know through faith and knowledge that the Word of God is true and accurate and that it shall come to pass exactly as it is written, we are energized and encouraged to remain patient and endure trials tribulation and carry on as His watchmen![3] For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Note: The two "tarry's" in this verse come from two different Hebrew words, mahahh and achar respectively, the first of which means "to question" or "hesitate". In other words, though one asks the question "How long?", the answer is that God's Word shall come to pass right on time according to His plan and His timetable, not according to man's. You see, God has His reason for what "appears" to be "tarrying" to men and His reason is because He loves ALL His children and wishes for as many who will to come to repentance.
We should never underestimate the wisdom and the beauty and perfection of our Father's plan! Again, He gives us His reason for using the wicked Chaldeans and shows us in this second chapter of Habakkuk the purpose of His judgments and why He is so patient. If you truly have eyes to see and ears to hear His words, you will find they will fill your heart with awe and joy (as it does Habbakuk's in chapter 3) in knowing how loving and wise our Father truly is. His "work that He works" (Hab. 1:5) in this final generation is truly wondrous indeed!2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
We know that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and paid the price on the cross for ALL peoples and nations and tongues, that whosoever upon repentance and belief in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life (Jn. 3:16).
But obviously one must come to that point of repentance and acceptance of Yeshua Messiah, inviting Him into their heart.
To that end, our Father has a PLAN to bring as many who will to repentance, even the Chaldeans!
Did you know that?
Have we not learned from the Book of Jonah that when our Father is ready, according to His will (His plan), be that now or when Christ returns, that He is able to cause even the Ninevites (Assyrians, Chaldeans, etc.) to repent?
Remember how and by what means He did that?
Likewise, He turned the false gods and idols of Egypt against the Egyptians who worshipped them when He brought forth the plagues upon the land as judgment.
This He did not just for the sake
of the children of Israel,
but also for the good of the Egyptians
that they SHALL come to KNOW that their gods are not God,
that there is only One LORD God,
the great "I AM"!
He even hardened Pharaoh's heart to multiply His signs
and wonders in the land,
lest Pharaoh let the Israelites go at the first great
miracle.
Exodus 7:3 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.[4] But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
But Heqt, the frog-headed goddess was not able to help them when the frogs came upon the land, and the gods of agriculture, Isis and Seth, were helpless to save their crops, and the god of the Nile could not turn back the bloody waters.
These gods and idols of the Egyptians all turned against
them
and hurt them and became a "taunting proverb" against
them,
and none but the God of Israel could relieve their tribulations.
The reason is clearly written:
[5] And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.
Again, those gods and goddesses and the idols of the Egyptians were turned against them to their own hurt but it was ultimately for their own good, for the purpose that they may come to know that the God of Israel is indeed God.
Isn't it amazing how God's plan benefited both the oppressed and the oppressors?
How wondrous are His works indeed!
Let
us now continue with God's answer to Habakkuk
concerning
His purpose for allowing the unjust to triumph over the just.
There is both a positive and negative part to God's plan even evidenced by the fact that God created both the day and the night. Think about it as we go through this study, for it is like the proverbial saying, "One who has never been through a storm cannot fully appreciate the sunshine."Habakkuk 2:4
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Thus, "By his faith, by his belief and trust in the LORD, the just shall live (eternally)." However, the unrepentant proud who trusts in himself and whose soul is not upright (which means he is unjust), shall face His judgment and ultimately perish. Dr. Bullinger points out in the Companion Bible on page 1268 that "Behold" is the figure of speech (Asterismos, or Indicating) which emphasizes the contrast between the "twofold answer to the prophet's prayer: the fate of the wicked in the coming judgment, and the preservation and eternal lot of the righteous." There is also an Ellipsis (Omission of a word or words) which needs to be supplied following "Behold" as in "Behold [the proud one]".
Do you have faith in Him?
Do you understand His marvelous plan, His wondrous work that He shall work
in this final generation? Understanding that
Plan and His purpose for allowing the unjust to "temporarily" triumph over
the just, both increases one's faith whereby he or she has the spiritual
strength
to stand and be patient and endure unto the end. One thing is for
sure...
when the time comes and God says that is enough, the wicked shall
be cut off and those who wait on the LORD, AND keep his way, "thou shalt
see it".
Psalm 37:34
Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
The just shall live by faith for they trust in Him, but the proud and the haughty who trust in themselves and in the false gods of gold and silver shall be brought to their knees before the King of kings... the hard way.Psalm 37:38
But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.[39] But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: He is their strength in the time of trouble.
[40] And the LORD shall help them and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
It is written that the proud one, i.e. the king of Babylon, i.e. Satan, will gather all nations, both the ethnic (races) and the kingdom (Christian) nations, and enlarge the borders of spiritual death as all the "kings of the earth" commit fornication with the great whore and the "inhabitants of the earth" become drunk with the "wine of her fornication", i.e. her policies, her doctrine, her intoxicating rel (religion).Habakkuk 2:5
Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
But do not worry, trust in the LORD, for Babylon the great shall fall and the proud one, the son of perdition (Apollyon), i.e. Satan, death himself, shall ultimately be destroyed in the lake of fire following the Millennium. And those proud ones who serve Satan now and seek wealth and power through unrighteousness, through iniquity and ill-gotten means, shall heap judgment upon their own heads.Rev. 17:2
With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
All these (transgressions) shall come back to haunt them which shall be an enigma, a conundrum to them. You see, the wicked write their own testimony against themselves and serve as their very own witness against themselves. That is why you should always do unto others as you would have them do unto you because that which you do unto others shall be done unto you, lest ye repent. Woe indeed to those who get rich from ill-gotten gain for they just keep heaping more and more judgment upon themselves as in piling more and more clay upon themselves. And the more clay they pile upon themselves the harder the blow will be when that clay hardens and our Father cracks it open exposing the naked soul encased within!Habakkuk 2:6
Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
The word "bite" is "nashak" in Hebrew and means to oppress with usury, i.e. interest. To wit, our people now pay over 55% of what they earn in various taxes, much of which goes to pay the interest on the national, state, and local municipal skyrocketing debts, to the International Bankers. When you add the interest our people pay on their mortgages and car loans, etc. you should be able to "see" the enormous BITE taken out of the backs of our hardworking brothers and sisters. Boy are we ever "booties" for those wicked ones, those "strangers" (the kenites) who have gotten high above us and have become our taskmasters.[7] Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?

Of course we are really without excuse, for we were WARNED long ago by our Father that if we strayed from His Word the locusts would come and consume all that we produce.
Deut. 28:42
All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume.[43] The stranger (kenite, banker) that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.
[44] He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.
All nations have committed fornication with and been spoiled (looted) by the great whore and they shall reap what they have sown for it is written that Babylon the Great, the New World Order, is coming down hard with violence because of her violence.Habakkuk 2:8
Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
By the way, the word "men's" in Habakkuk 2:8 is "adam" in Hebrew.Rev. 18:21
And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
It is written in the great Book of Ecclesiastes that there is nothing new "under the sun", meaning there is nothing new in this flesh age that wasn't present in the "world that then was" (2 Pet. 3:6). You see, Satan (the proud and wicked one) has succeeded in filling this world with "violence", i.e. corruption and iniquity, just as he did the first earth age (Ezekiel 28), and unfortunately it is we Christians who have allowed that to happen, especially in our own nation. Though it is written that Jesus Christ has "given us power over all the enemy" (Luke 10:19), our people who possess that power (which is before them in the Word of God) have failed miserably to use it, thereby permitting Satan's liberalism to take hold and draw them away from His truth and His mercy seat. Again, it is the same old story from the beginning, even from the first earth age, even from the garden of Eden when Adam failed to "dress the garden and keep it" according to God's commands. You know what happened next.Rev. 18:24
And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
In fact, the only power Satan has is that which our Father allows.
Those who know God's word know that the false-christ is called the "little horn" in the Book of Daniel. "Horn" is symbolic of power and the title "little horn" reveals to God's servants just how much power Satan really has... very, very little. It is our Father who has ALL power. (The word "little" in "little horn" in Dan. 8:9 comes from the Hebrew word "mitsar" which means "petty" or "diminutive", i.e. his "horn" is just an "itsy bitsy teeny weeny"!) In fact, the only power Satan has is that which our Father allows (Job 1:12) and that which people give to him to "allow" him run all over them. You see, there is absolutely no way the "little horn" could "wax great" if our people knew and kept our Father's commands, but "alas", they don't know, because most don't read their Bible; AND the churches doesn't teach it; probably, for that same reason!
Furthermore, we learned that He shall NOT permit the wicked to "get away with their evil deeds" forever, for unless they repent they will surely get exactly what they have coming to them... when He is ready to pour out His cup of wrath upon the ungodly.
Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and He reserveth wrath for his enemies.
That only makes good sense when you think about it!
You certainly would not be angry with your children
if
some stranger took them captive and harmed them
or took advantage of them, would you?
Of course not, you would be angry, even furious, with the person or persons who took them and harmed them.
[3] The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
He has ALL elements both physical and spiritual at His disposal to chastise
(and/or destroy if so be the case) those who deservedly have it coming to them.
What we are learning here in the Book of Habakkuk, through the tender embracing of our Father, is that the pouring out of His wrath is a necessary part of His plan, i.e. He has purposed it, and He has a good and positive reason for doing so!
You see, it is by this means, His wondrous work that He shall work in these last days, that many people shall come to know that He alone is the LORD God.
Remember the purpose for the pouring
out of the vials (plagues) upon Egypt...
"And the Egyptians shall know that
I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt,
and bring out the children of Israel
from among them" (Exodus 7:5).
Habakkuk wrote these words for those present at the "appointed time" (Hab. 2:3), the time of the end.
So far in this study we learned what dark and negative attributes qualify a person to be the recipient of the Wrath Of the Eternal (WOE). They are those same attributes that brought down the proud one, that wicked one, the son of perdition, Satan himself, in the first earth age. And although he has been sentenced to die, he will not actually perish until the lake of fire comes into being at the end of the Millennium. Meanwhile, at the end of this flesh age God instructs Michael to cast him out of heaven (Rev. 12:7-9) and he comes leading his "Chaldean army" and casts a net of deception upon the whole world ensnaring all those who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads (Rev. 9).
A "woe" expresses grief and distress and those who "extort a gain" (coveteth an evil covetousness), thereby building their own houses and nest eggs at the expense of others, shall indeed experience grief and distress. Woe to them!Habakkuk 2:9
Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!
You see, there is no salvation or security in material possessions for the gods of gold and silver and science and technology are NOT God and therefore they cannot save!
Yet after thousands of years of history on record, man continues to attempt to build his own stairway to heaven, his own tower of Babel, a tower which can only lead to confusion (Babel). Woe especially to him who robs from God's people, His temple, to build his own house!
Those who build their own weath at the expense of God's people, through robbery and extortion and by cutting them off from the truth of His Word, have committed the same sin Satan was sentenced to die for![10] Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.
That's right! It is written (Rev. 12:4) that Satan, the old dragon in the first earth age, drew 1/3 of God's children away from His mercy seat, the seat of truth and justice, i.e. His Word. Those who assist him in these last days with his casting forth of his worldwide web of deception can rest assured they will receive the same sentence if they continue to follow in his footsteps.
The very "house" you build through "coveting an evil covetousness" shall turn on you and shall witness against you.Ezekiel 28:16
By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence [corruption], and thou hast sinned [chata]: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
In other words you make the court case real easy by providing your own incriminating evidence against yourself. All shall be revealed and made known and the wicked's own house shall be a witness against him.Habakkuk 2:11
For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.
Again, Habakkuk wrote these words for those present at the "appointed time" in this 21st. century (Hab. 2:3), the time of the end when Babylon the great (Mystery Babylon) is set up, which comes forth from "that great city which reigneth over the kings of earth" (Rev. 17:18).[12] Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!
That great city is Jerusalem which is littered with the blood of saints and with iniquity and has become a "stablished" "caldron of violence"! Woe to those kings and leaders and nations who commit fornication with her and stablish the New World Order through iniquitous measures.
This verse goes right to the very heart of our understanding of God's Plan for this final generation, "final" meaning that this flesh age ends right here in this final generation of the fig tree! All that the people toil for, i.e. all their works, along with their idolatrous worship of their false gods and Satan, the false-christ, will "go up in smoke", as in end in nothingness (which is what the word "vanity", aven, means in Hebrew), because the wrath of God shall end all their idolatrous ways.[13] Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?
Here is how Dr. Moffat translates this verse:
When the false messiah appears on the scene, the whole world with the exception of God's elect will believe that Jesus Christ has returned because Satan as the false-christ will have deceived them by his signs and miracles and wonders into believing He is God (2 Thes. 2). Therefore they will not be expecting the true Messiah when He comes at the sound of the 7th Trump."Has not the Lord of hosts ordained that "the toil of the nations ends in smoke", and peoples wear themselves out for nought": (Moffatt)
But when Jesus Christ does return the whole abominable thing is going to "go up in smoke" and the earth shall be filled with the knowledge and the glory of the LORD!
It is not the earth, the terra firma itself, that shall be burned up, but all that is evil, i.e. the evil, and vain, and empty works!2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements [evil rudiments] shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
You see, at the sound of the 7th Trump God will pour out that 7th Vial of His wrath and it will be all over, finis!
Jesus Christ will also destroy that great army headed by "the chief prince of Meshech" (leader of Russia) that comes against His people, the true house of Israel, from the north as per Ezekiel 38 & 39. And then... the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.Rev. 16:17
And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.Rev. 11:15
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.
The word "glory" in this verse is not "shekinah". The "glory" of the LORD in this case means the glory of His Victory! In other words, the nations shall be toiling "in the fire" but when Jesus Christ comes with His saints and destroys Babylon the Great, the purpose of which is so that all the world knows that He is the Great "I AM", the Glory of the LORD shall be made known in all the earth!Habakkuk 2:14
For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
What a time to be living and serving God in these last days!Hab. 1:5 that He is going to "work a work in your days", in this final generation, that you are literally going to have to see to believe because it will be so awesome that words alone cannot describe it! Remember He stated in With all the technology and scientific wonders of our day, we have already seen more amazing things than any other generation in the history of mankind. Just think, we actually landed a man on the moon and he walked upon it. And when I hit the enter key on my computer this study will go around the world, even into space via satellite transmission and back to those who receive the internet via satellite dish!
"You ain't seen nuttin yet!"
To that end, we have learned in this great Book of Habakkuk that it is the embracing of God's WRATH that shall be His GLORY and it is "that knowledge" of the glory of His power and His might and His justice which shall fill the whole earth. Perhaps we should take a few moments and learn a little more about His awesome Wrath which brings about His glory.
First though, it is also very important for us to understand that God is NOT angry with His children who already know Him and who dearly love Him and serve Him in these last days and therefore, as it is written, His wrath is NOT prepared for them. Instead, they shall at that same time, i.e. at Christ's return, receive their reward and His salvation unto everlasting life.
But WOE to the ungodly who "hold the truth in unrighteousness".1 Thes. 5:9
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Here is how Isaiah, whose name appropriately means "the salvation of Yah", explains how that great day of the LORD shall come upon them.Romans 1:18
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Isaiah 13:6
Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
We must understand that this is not an act of cruelty from a "mean" God, but a two-fold act of love to chastise the ungodly and comfort those who mourn (Ps. 61:2) through the execution of His justice![7] Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:[8] And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
[9] Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and He shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
Isaiah continues:
We read about the "proud one" and those who follow him in Habakkuk 2:5, even those arrogant ones who exercise control and power over the Four Hidden Dynasties and utilize them to bring forth the beast of Rev. 13:1, which is none other than the New World Order.Isaiah 13:11
And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
Remember too what we learned in Habakkuk 1:6, that it is God's plan to first allow the wicked Chaldeans (Satan and his locust army) to come and march upon the "breadth of the whole earth", casting their worldwide web of deceit and deception upon the whole world ensnaring and dragging in their net "all the fishes of the sea" who have no ruler over them, i.e. those who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads.
Will you be as one of those unsuspecting fishes taken in their "net" or as a birdbrain caught in their "snare" during that evil day (even now), or do you study your Father's Word and dwell in the light of truth which repels deception, even the fiery darts of the wicked one (Eph. 6:16)?
Eccles. 9:12 For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.
Yes, time is swiftly marching on and the sand is about to run out of the hour glass as we continue to see prophecy coming to pass almost daily. We therefore need to get ready and prepare ourselves by putting on the Gospel Armor (Eph. 6), because make no mistake about it, there is a great Storm coming as even now we see the winds, the wicked spirits, increase in strength and begin to blow stronger upon face of the whole earth.Nahum 1:3
The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
When the false-christ, the king of Babylon, and his Chaldean army (also known as the locust army) have come into full power for his "short time" (Rev. 12:9) of "five months" (Rev. 9:5) at the sound of the 6th Trump, and successfully deceive the whole world into accepting Satan as the false messiah, then shall the 7th Trump sound and the 7th Vial shall be poured out upon the ungodly.
And just to show you how good He is to us, our Father even gave us a clear picture, an ensample of how it shall be in the last days (1 Cor. 10:11), when He poured out His Wrath upon the wicked cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in the days of Lot .
Do you remember by what means God destroyed those cities? Genesis 19:24,brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven "Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah ."Isaiah 13:19
And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew
That is how He will destroy the glory of Babylon the great when He returns, even as He told His disciples when He stood upon that temple mount that there would not be one stone left (standing) upon another. Likewise, shall that great multi-national army (Gog) which comes against our people, led by the "chief prince of Meshech" (i.e. Russia) as recorded in Ezek. 38:3, be destroyed in the great battle of Hamon-gog.
Woe! God does not like this army coming against His children! Look out! Woe!Ezekiel 38:18
And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
We have seen that the "fishes of the sea" and the "fowls of the heaven" are symbolic of people, i.e. those fishes (people) "dragged in the net" and birds (people) "snared in the trap" of the great deception of the end time.[19] For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;[20] So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
Likewise the powerful "beasts of field" and lowlife "creeping things" complete the makeup of "all the men that are upon the face of the earth". All principalities, powers, governments, high places, and walls (fortresses) shall come tumbling down at His presence! It's over!
the majority of which shall be caught in net,
that worldwide woven web of deception.
Esau (Russia) shall lead the charge against his brother Jacob (US, Canada, etc.).[21] And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.
God Himself, not Jacob's army, i.e. the military of the US, shall destroy that great wicked army right in its tracks. As is it written in Ezek. 39:3, "He [God] shall "smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand."[22] And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
And the purposeful reason is for the result that shall follow...
Note: It is worth noting that President George W. Bush, nearing the conclusion of his inaugural address, quoted a portion of the verse prior to this (Eccles. 9:11) when he said:[23] Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.
When the President of the United States quotes the Word of God before the entire world, we should be wise enough to know that he DID so, and still wiser to take heed to what is being said. "That the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong" is a quote from Eccl. 9:11, the chapter which begins with the "declaration" that "the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God:"!"After the Declaration of Independence was signed, Virginia statesman John Page wrote to Thomas Jefferson: "We know the race is not to the swift nor the Battle to the Strong. Do you not think an Angel rides in the Whirlwind and directs this Storm?''
It kind of brings to mind the words from the prophet Nahum:
Yes, time is swiftly marching on and the sand is about to run out of the hour glass as we continue to see prophecy coming to pass almost daily. We therefore need to get ready and prepare ourselves by putting on the Gospel Armor (Eph. 6), because make no mistake about it, there is a great Storm coming as even now we see the winds, the wicked spirits, increase in strength and begin to blow stronger upon face of the whole earth.Nahum 1:3
The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.
And when the false-christ, the king of Babylon, and his Chaldean army (also known as the locust army) have come into full power for his "short time" (Rev. 12:9) of "five months" (Rev. 9:5) at the sound of the 6th Trump, and successfully deceive the whole world into accepting Satan as the false messiah, then shall the 7th Trump sound and the 7th Vial shall be poured out upon the ungodly.

Isaiah 13:19

Ezekiel further explains in the 39th chapter the purpose
concerning the "destruction from the Almighty" of that great army which
comes from the north against true Israel:
It is part of His wondrous PLAN of which "He has foretold all things"Ezekiel 39:5
Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
(Mk. 13:23), i.e. exactly how it is all going down!
Behold, the knowledge of His Glory shall be known in all the earth![6] And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
Behold, the knowledge of His Glory shall be known in ALL the earth![7] So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
The pouring out of the Wrath of God at the 7th Trump and the 7th Vial puts an end to it ALL, i.e. the evil rudiments of this world![8] Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken.

And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
Here it comes![18] And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.[19] And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
[20] And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.[21] And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent (130 lb. hail stones): and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
shall be known in ALL the earth!
We know (for it is written in 2 Thes. 2 concerning the great apostasy) that when Satan, the son of perdition, arrives on the scene that the majority of our pro-claiming Christian brothers and sisters will bow to him as Jesus Christ, whom he will claim to be (2 Thes. 2:4).Habakkuk 2:15
Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
So spiritually speaking they will have "married", as in gone to bed with, i.e. SLEPT with, the wrong bridegroom!
That is why Christ said in Mark 13:17 "But WOE to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!" He was not talking about natural impregnation but that spiritual seduction that shall take place by the spurious Messiah!
Do not attend the first wedding, else you be caught naked and ashamed at being exposed as an harlot when the true bridegroom comes for his "virgin" bride!
For when He finds you, His bride-to-be, spiritually nursing a baby of your own,
Wouldn't you be?
Woe!
This "drink" is made up of the traditions of men and the poisonous false doctrines that lead our people astray from the Word of God and which make VOID the Word of God!
Remember we were taught earlier in Habakkuk that the sin (chata) that Satan committed in the first earth age? Do you really want to be part of "his body" by being one of his "right hands" or his handmaiden and help "put the bottle containing his venom" to the lips of your neighbors? Well, know full well that when you bring false doctrine and the traditions of men to your friends and neighbors you may cause them to die, spiritually, which is far worse than physical death.
Woe! You are in Big Trouble with the Father of those children you delivered up to death! Woe!
This is a real simple verse which says that he or she who serves, Satan's, i.e. the spurious messiah's "wine" to his or her neighbor shall ALSO drink of the cup of wrath of the LORD's right hand, because they are just like the uncircumcised, i.e. they are no better than the heathen.[16] Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD'S right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.
What should you do to make sure you are not part of the problem? Cast aside the traditions and vain reasonings of men and get crackin' in your Father's Word.
This verse continues the thought of the prior one, i.e. that you shall be COVERED WITH SHAME, for your acts shall be unrighteous indeed seeing that you had the "mark of the beast in your right hand", which is simply a figure of speech meaning you "worked for Satan spreading his lies and deceits"![17] For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
You see, the "violence of Lebanon" is the cutting down of the "trees of Lebanon" which are symbolic of God's people.
In other words, it just like taking an axe and felling your Christian neighbors when you give them Satan's wine to "drink"!
And you become no better than those "beasts" who "spoil" (plunder) our people both materially and spiritually causing them to be "afraid" which means "to be confused or dismayed"!
In other words, though you may do so in ignorance, you become part of the "citizenry" of that great iniquitous city which has shed men's (adam's) blood and caused corruption throughout the land, even throughout the whole world.

Rev. 18:24
And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
It is real simple!
Listen carefully...open you ears that you may hear and listen to the following voice from heaven:
Of course if you would rather listen to other voices, other than from the mouth of God, i.e. His Word, and therefore choose not to "come out of her" (Mystery Babylon), out of confusion (Babel), then you will stand in line to receive the "Whammy Award", which is the "Cup of His Wrath".Rev. 18:4

Habakkuk 2:18 What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a
teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
that diverts your time and attention away from the Word of God.
It
could be that you are just too busy with your house
or
your hobby or pursuing your career to "devote" your time to studying His
Word.
Of
course you might go to church on Sunday
and
listen to someone teach traditions.
The only problem is that
idols and false gods cannot help you,
nor save you from God's
wrath.
Therefore,
what good shall your religion do you
and
what shall it profit you by listening to preachers
if
you do not know whether they are "teaching lies" (traditions of men)
or
the truth from His Word?
[19] Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
There is no "breath of
life", no "spirit"
("ruach" in Hebrew),
in anything or anyone
else.
So
if you want to be as "dumb as a rock",
then
just put your trust and security in materialism or better yet, the words
of men,
i.e.
the words of most so-called Christian ministers and preachers and their traditions!
"Take
heed that no man deceive you",
i.e.
beware of false prophets (false teachers),
was
the very first thing Jesus Christ said to His disciples in Mat. 24 and
Mark 13
when
they asked Him what to watch for just before His second advent!
Soooo...

[20] But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
So seek Him daily through His Word and come out of confusion,
come out of Babylon,
else you will be part of the new "Silent Majority",
silenced when He pours out His Wrath upon the world of the ungodly.
Yes, how truly Great and Marvelous are the works of God in these last days!
In
fact, did you know that is exactly what the overcomers of "the beast"
in
this final generation will be singing at the victory celebration of the
Lamb?
Rev. 15:3
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
which is the 32nd chapter of the Book of Deuteronomy.
ascribe ye greatness unto our God. [4] He is the Rock,
His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.
You see, God is going to allow Satan
and his angelic host
to come and "march upon the breadth
of the land", i.e. the whole world,
and "to possess the dwelling places
that are not theirs".
You should recall that we began this incredible Book of Habakkuk "seeing" God's servant somewhat bewildered by the "vision" God showed him of the oppression and iniquity amongst his people caused by those who "raise up strife and contention" (vs. 1:3).
In fact, Habakkuk saw the increasing corruption and injustice that we can "see" throughout the world today, taking place even in our Christian nation from the highest offices to the lowest, both ecclesiastic and civil, "stirred up" and "spun" by those who "raise up strife and contention", even those who "raise Cain" by bringing forth the unfruitful and unacceptable works of their father, the first murderer (Jn. 8:44).
Habakkuk 1:4 Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.
God then told Habakkuk to "wonder marvellously" because it is part of His plan to "work a work in your days [the days of his vision, i.e. our days], which ye will not believe, though it be told you."(Habakkuk 1:5)
You see, God is going to allow Satan
and his angelic host
to come and "march upon the breadth
of the land", i.e. the whole world,
and "to possess the dwellingplaces
that are not theirs".
Habakkuk 1:6 For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs.
Habakkuk 1:15 They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they [the evil doers] rejoice and are glad.
In fact, he asked God after acknowledging that He alone is the Almighty Eternal God who has all power, why it is He allows and uses such iniquity seeing that He cannot behold evil nor tolerate the ways of wicked men?
In other words, Habakkuk asked for
a "deeper"
understanding of His purpose
and why it is that the whole world
must go through the great tribulation of the spurious messiah.
Note: One of the really important
things we "see" in Habakkuk's approach to all of this is that he did NOT
rely upon his own reasoning nor derive his own
conclusions, nor listen to the words of men. He knew Prov.
14:12 & 16:25 and he sought wisdom and knowledge directly from God,
His Word! So he did what was pleasing to His Father (2 Tim. 2:15) and he
"set himself upon the watchtower", i.e. "stood upon his watch" by continuing
to do the work of the watchman and he trusted and waited
patiently
upon the Lord for HIS ANSWER!
Is that how you seek wisdom and knowledge and answers to your questions? If not, begin today to seek knowledge and wisdom and understanding from Jesus Christ, the Word of God, and not from the words of men! That does not mean you cannot listen to men or study with a good teacher, just make sure you check out what they say with Jesus Christ, i.e. IN THE WORD OF GOD! Col. 2:8 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ [i.e. not after the Word of God]."
And you know what?
Habakkuk received His answer "directly" from the Lord God and when he truly "SAW" the awesome power of our Father, realizing there is no contest of strength or might but that He is total, complete control, and he understood that His plan PURPOSELY contains "two" tribulations that combine to bring about the salvation of His people and "Make Known" His glory throughout the WHOLE EARTH, then he was completely awestruck and sang out for joy at the "wondrous works He shall work in these last days"! Praise Yahveh!
His ways are just and true!

Chapter
2
"Waiting on the Answer"
Habakkuk 2:1 "I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved [concerning my complaint]."
The question asked in Habakkuk 1:17 is carried right into chapter two. Habakkuk is speaking as a watchman, standing upon his watch tower looking for the coming enemy. Habakkuk wants an answer from Almighty God, as to why He has allowed His people to be so blinded that they were taken into these Kenite "nets" [the one world system]. Habakkuk needs to know exactly what he should say to our generation, when he gives us the warning.
Habakkuk 2:2 "And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it pain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it."
Each of the minor prophets are witnesses to the answer God is giving to Habakkuk, for they all are writing to our generation, the final generation of this earth age. This is why the teachers and prophets from years ago simply could not understand these visions. The one world system never gained respect from the entire world until the 1990's. Ever since the Carter administration, all American presidents, as well as the European nations, have stood solidly behind that political system, and are devoted to "one worldism", the new world order.
Now we are to get God's response to Habakkuk's request. When you write it, God instructs him, make it big, plain, and easy to be understood. It is important for us to understand exactly what God is saying here, and it is intended for "God's people" who will live in that generation under this one world system. It is not intended for Great Grandmother, who passed away in the 30's. The "net" is set to catch you and me who are living when the system is functioning.
Habakkuk 2:3 "For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
The "appointed time" of this vision is just before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, when the two Beasts [both political and religious] are in operation. Then and only then will these words come alive and make sense to those who will witness the events. With this knowledge, you will know as fact that God is in control of all things.
Though it be a long way off to Habakkuk's day ["it terry"], in fact almost 2,500 years from Habakkuk's time, it surely will come to pass. God keeps His word, and you can count on it. Are you on your watch tower, alert and ready to observe these events; and ready to sound the warning as these "nets" of the one world system are set in place to take our people?
Habakkuk 2:4 "Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith."
Today we watch both physically and spiritually; we study God's Word to know the signs of our times; then we become watchmen [watchwomen] looking for the signs to take place. Our Heavenly Father's Word, the Bible, is our only true counselor, whereby we can see and understand what is taking place, and know for sure it is the instruction from God. Form His Word we can know exactly what tomorrow will bring.
"Behold", is God's instruction telling us to pay attention to what He is about to say.
To understand what God is saying, we must go back to the subject that is being discussed from Chapter one. The subject from Habakkuk 1:4 was "rasha" [in Hebrew], "The wicked one." That wicked one is Satan, the Antichrist, who will appear on earth to lead the one world religious system. Do you know what to expect from Satan? Do you know his method of operation?
"His soul", that is Satan's soul, "is not upright", or honest within him. It is "the just shall live by faith"; those of God who are seal in their mind, have their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. That faith knows his master, and cannot be deceived by anyone. If you know the events that are going to happen in our generation from His Word, and you see it taking place all around you, you have confidence to know that all of what He said is the truth. You count on it, the A, B, Cs of faith; your "Action", built on the "Belief" that is developed from His Word, and then you have the "Confidence" that will sustain you to the very end of this earth age [the sounding of the seventh trump]. Faith is what will keep you going when everything tells you to quit. That faith is what is the truths of God's Word sealed away in your mind, and Satan can not touch it.
So God is telling us to look at the lawless one, and know him and his system. Then when the Antichrist [Satan] comes, you are not taken by Satan, or his religious system. Your life will be lived by your faith in Jesus Christ and all the promises that He has given you through His Word, and you will remain pure [a virgin] in the "bride of Christ" by that faith.
Habakkuk 2:5 "Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud [a haughty] man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell [Sheol], and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:"
Because Satan is in the fallen state, and "transgresseth by wine", or is spiritually wicked, "he is a proud man". This word "man" in the Hebrew text is "geber". The name "geber" denotes man with respect of his physical strength [Genesis 6:4], and this is combined with his wicked and depraved nature. When Satan arrives on earth, at the fifth trumpet, he will possess both physical and mental powers and authority that are given to him by God. This is recorded in Revelation 9:1-10.
"Enlargeth his desire" is better translated "to enlarge his soul". The word used in the Hebrew text for "desire" is "naphesh", which is soul. There is no good in Satan, for he is already sentenced to hell, or "perdition". He is the "son of perdition", as Paul's warning referred to in II Thessalonians 2:1-3. His name is death, as Paul also stated in Hebrews 2:14, and with this identification, you cannot confuse Satan [the Antichrist] with any other person.
The sole purpose of the United Nation's agenda and the agencies of the one world system is to prepare the way for Satan's [the Antichrist's] return to earth, and play the role of Messiah. You can say and confuse the entire world with all of the many lies gone forth from the mouths of the Kenite leaders; however, God has but one purpose for this system, and that is to test the Christians; TO TEST YOU THE BELIEVER. All those taking part in that system are helping to fulfill Satan's wishes, and Satan's purpose is to "heapth together all nations and all peoples" of the world under the Antichrist's religious system.
Every person living on the face of this earth will be given over, by God, to Satan except "God's Elect". They are not tempted because they know and understand what is written in God's Word, they believe it and have the confidence in their actions that sustain them. They are watchmen who know the signs of the times and live their lives in faith. They are the "just" spoken of in verse five that live by "faith".
Habakkuk 2:6 "Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay [pledges]".
Wow! Lets break this verse down.
We are talking about this one man called "geber" who is actually Satan, the Antichrist. Spiritually speaking our human bodies are called "clay". Satan and his fallen angels will try to look like they are flesh men, and act like flesh men, and that is why Jesus said in Matthew 24:37; it will be as it was in the days of Noah; "they will be giving and taking in marriage." Satan and his fallen angels will be on earth living as mankind [in the appearance of the flesh], and participating in all areas of mortal man. That includes marriage, sex, sports and any other area you can imagine. Satan will appear to most Christians as being Christ [of the flesh], yet in actuality, he is not, he will be supernatural, of that other dimension.
God has given Satan his powers of deception [Revelation 9:1-2] and the authority to do what he will do. Why? so as to separate His elect, and the 144,000 of Israel, who are sealed in their minds, from all the lazy Christians who have been deceived through false doctrine. This deception of covering their identity of being spiritual beings, and parading in the flesh, with all human attributes of the flesh, is the meaning of this; "to him that ladeth himself with thick clay". [verse six] They will be acting like men of the flesh, when in fact they are "geber" of the spirit realm. Got it?
Habakkuk 2:7 "Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?"
When this happens it will take place in an instant. This "proverb" that is going against you [from verse six], is going to be against Satan. The "proverb" is an enigma, something hidden and as stated in the Hebrew text "hidah", as written in Psalm 78:2.
"Shall bite", refers only to those who are bitten, and those doing the biting are identified in Habakkuk 1:6 as the "Chaldees". These "Chaldees" were the Kenites who have put together the one world system of the Antichrist, called "Mystery Babylon" in Revelation 17:5.
Revelation 17:5 "And upon her head was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
To correctly identify who this king of Babylon is; Habakkuk says he will stack the nations and peoples of earth, and he also will appear human, when in fact he is not. Isaiah 14:4 reads; "That thou shalt take up this proverb against the King of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!" This is the same "proverb" Habakkuk spoke of in verse six. How then will Satan's and his system be broken?
Isaiah 14:5 "The Lord hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers."
Remember, it is Satan who is the "wicked one", or "rasha" in the Hebrew. God is going to destroy Satan, and turn his soul to ashes after judgment.
Isaiah 14:6 "He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruleth the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth."
Satan is the one who will rule all nations of this earth in his wrath; and he will not let up his attack during the entire five month period [see Revelation 9:5, 10] that God has given him.
Isaiah 14:7 "The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing."
This singing will take place on the first day of the Millennium, when Christ is on earth, and setting up His kingdom.
Isaiah 14:8 "Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us."
These "cedars of Lebanon" are God's people, the "True Israel". These trees are people, and they are rejoicing because Satan is in the Pit.
Isaiah 14:9 "Hell [Sheol] from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations."
Because Satan is already judged and sentenced to death, he will not be judged at the Great white throne judgment. This is then in reference to the one world system that he has built up. This system is well formed even today. Its laws, organizations, and government is now here, and every school child is being taught to respect it, and rejoice over world unity.
Isaiah 14:10 "All they shall speak and say unto thee, art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?"
This system will not last long, for God is reminding Satan of his condition, and that his days are numbered.
Isaiah 14:11 "Thy pomp is brought down to the grave [Sheol], and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee."
This is to remind Satan and those who take part with him, what is to become of them.
Isaiah 14:12; "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer [day star], son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!"
This is the same subject; Satan and his system ["rasha" in the Hebrew], and God is explaining what is going to happen to him. Isaiah is a second witness to what Habakkuk said in verse 2:2. Satan will come to earth and he will destroy all nations by bringing all of them into his system.
Isaiah 14:13 "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the the north"
This is the act of the "abomination of desolation", which is better translated, "The abomination by the desolator", who is Satan. The prophet Daniel spoke of it in Daniel 9:27; and Jesus warned us to watch out for it also in Mathew 24:15. The "sides of the north" in Jerusalem is where God's holy temple will be; and Satan will sit there and proclaim himself God.
Isaiah 14:14 "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."
This statement is unlimited blasphemy! Satan declaring himself to be God.
Isaiah 14:15 "Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell [Sheol], to the sides of the pit."
When Jesus Christ returns and puts Satan in the pit, then the people of the whole earth will see Satan as the man ["ish", in Hebrew] that he is. The whole world will wonder how they could have been so deceived by him and his system; and even to the point of thinking he was Jesus Christ.
We must use the entire Bible when we seek information on the events of the end times. Keep in mind as we study all the books of the "Minor prophets", that they were written for our generation, and about events that would take place after 1948 [the date of establishing the tiny nation Israel, in Palestine].
It took two generations of Godless education, and five consecutive presidents to prepare the American Christians to accept this one worldism, as being "of God". This has all been possible because most Christian pastors are ignorant of God's Word, and their inheritance. They have allowed the Kenite minds to do their thinking and interpreting for them.
Habakkuk 2:8 "Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein."
The "Remnant of the people" are God's elect; those chosen from before the foundations of this earth age. They are the ones who know the truth of the time of the Antichrist, and will stand against him. The word "men's" in "men's blood", is "Adam", another words, "flesh man's blood", which has been shed account of this one world system. This godless system has caused millions of people to be slaughtered in wars and covert actions for the sake of the United Nation's agenda. They do all their deceptions in the name of peace, democracy, and humanity to enlarge their cause.
The "land" in this verse, is the whole world, and the "city" is Babylon, "Mystery Babylon" of the final generation. In reference to "all that dwell therein", are the nations and peoples of the world that have become part of that "one world system" called the "United Nations", which exists in all of it's many agencies.
Habakkuk 2:9 "Woe to him that coveteth [getteth] an evil covetousness [gain] to [for] his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!"
God is telling us, through Habakkuk's writings; "Woe to those who bargain with Satan, or his system, to save their house, or their property." Also to those who allow their church houses to become the "synagogues of Satan." This is done by accepting the doctrines of demons, such as the "rapture" doctrine, and other traditions. These people are leaving themselves open to be deceived by the Antichrist, and worshipping the false Christ.
Habakkuk 2:10 "Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul."
Remember, the question that Habakkuk was asking God was, "How long will you let this evil go on?" [from Habakkuk 1:17] God is reminding us that Christians are seeking counsel and direction from the wrong people; and in the end, when Christ returns, your following of that bad counsel will cause you great shame. The statement, "cutting off many people", is that Jesus Christ will reject them for their whoring after, and becoming the bride of the Antichrist. When a person bows to him, or does the work of Satan and his one world system, it is your own soul that you have condemned.
Habakkuk 2:11 "For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it."
In other words, the rocks, trees, and the environment itself is crying out to witness and call for the return of the true Messiah.
Habakkuk 2:12 "Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!"
"Woe" to those who take part in the establishing of this city, "Mystery Bablyon". This mystery city is the one world system of Satan, which has started as a political governmental [beast] with a new world order, and shortly it will have it's downfall [mortal wound]. Rapidly following the end of the political system, a world wide religious order will be formed. As we have seen over the past few decades, the lies, deceptions, wars, and many other forms of iniquity that have taken place, with the sole purpose of establishing a climate necessary for the acceptance of the United Nations as the controlling governmental [the political beast] body.
Habakkuk 2:13 "Behold, is it not of the Lord of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity."
The work you perform for Satan's one world system, even though it is done in ignorance and given in service as unto the Lord, is still given to the wrong Christ. Your works and worship all becoming vanity, and are in vain.
Habakkuk 3:14 "For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea."
This verse fourteen shall happen at the seventh and last trumpet. This is at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, when all the people on this earth, both good and bad, "shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye". [I Corinthians 15:50-51] The last day of this earth age, starts the first day of the Millennium age of Jesus Christ's kingdom on earth. We will all live and be in our incorruptible [breath of life, or soul] bodies. Satan will be in the pit, and every knee on this earth will bow to Jesus Christ.
All mankind will know Jesus is the true Messiah, and all glory will be given to Him.
Think of the shame that will come upon those pastors who lead their congregations into the hands of the wrong Christ [the Antichrist]. No wonder they will wish to be dead. It is a nightmare even to think about the shame that will be on their heads.
When you think of all those ignorant souls that sat under a false shepherds and gave praise to the wrong Christ, and did their works for the Antichrist: Then you can start to understand what Jesus Christ was thinking when He said in Luke 22:42; "Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me; Never the less not my will, but thine, be done."
Do you understand? Christ died so all could have eternal life, or salvation through His shed blood on the cross. God's "cup of wrath" that is to come upon the earth will be poured out when Jesus Christ returns. It is also at this time that those deceived false shepherds, and their misled flocks, will also partake of God's wrath at the same time. This will happen because we have a just God, and all those who partook in the Antichrist system will receive what God's Word has foretold.
Jesus was willing to die for your soul, yet He allows "God's cup of wrath" to be placed on that very soul; deceived even in ignorance, so that His Father's "will" shall be done.
Though that soul goes into the millennium, the "grace" offered in this earth age will not be extended to that sinning soul then. This is discussed in detail in the last chapters of Revelation.
Now with this in mind, try to understand the extreme hatred Jesus Christ will place on those False Shepherds [priests and ministers] upon His return. They have led Jesus Christ's sheep into Satan's camp to have their souls slaughter. Pastors had better weigh their words carefully as they minister in this day and age.
Habakkuk 2:15 "Woe unto him that giveth his neighbor drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!"
God is warning those who go house to house, giving the "bottle of wine", or "false teaching to his neighbor". Then as they stand by and "watch his neighbor in his nakedness"; which is guiding that neighbor to live their lives within that false doctrine. We are not talking of wine or liquor, but the bottle of lies and deceptions, brought forth by Satan and his Kenites. The "drunkenness" is the lies and deceptions converted into obedience to false doctrines that they are taught. Most Churches today try to force feed their doctrines and traditions on whom ever they can, right or wrong. If you are trying to be on the side of the majority, then you will be deceived, for very few will understand God's plan in this generation, and resist the Antichrist.
Habakkuk 2:16 "Thou are filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered [be as one uncircumcised]: the cup of the Lord's right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory."
When the Antichrist appears at the sounding of the fifth trumpet [Revelation 9:1], the glory you think you have will turn to shame. The glory of that five months period with Antichrist will end with the return of Christ. God is saying here that when you fall for the Antichrist, your no better than the "uncircumcised", or heathen. God's "cup of the right hand" is what Jesus Christ will perform for the Almighty Father, in carrying out that "cup of wrath". Read about that wrath in Revelation 19:11-21.
If anyone promotes the traditions of today such as the "rapture theory", that causes another to be drawn to Antichrist, and follows Satan himself; then this cup of wrath is directed to both of you. If you don't study God's Word, and stand as a watchman, then you no better then the heathen.
Habakkuk 2:17 "For the violence of [done to] Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood, and for the violence of [done to] the land, of [to] the city and all that dwell therein."
Remember back in Isaiah 14:8, Where the "Cedars of Lebanon" were mentioned? The "Cedars of Lebanon" are biblically symbolic for God's people. The "violence of Lebanon" stated here then refers to the "cut down trees", or the deceiving of God's people into going over to the Antichrist. That is thinking Satan is the true Christ. This is done here because their church houses have taught them as such.
Because of the falling of all those people, and the damage done by Antichrist and all those that are part of him, God is promising Habakkuk that the land, or Satan's system, the city [mystery Babylon], and every one that dwells in that Mystery Babylon, will be cut down also. That is a promise from God to Habakkuk, and that promise is directed to all those living in this final generation. It is aimed at you and I. God is promising to avenge our adversary, and this is another witness to Romans 12:19. You can count on it.
Habakkuk 2:18 "What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?"
God is asking Habakkuk, what good is an graven image? Of course, it is lifeless and worthless. God is comparing the teacher that lies to this dumb worthless idol image. Anyone who teaches that the first Christ to come is the true Christ, is equating himself to that idol image. In fact, most of the entire world will follow after these false teachers, because they are to lazy and passive to seek the truths in God's Word.
Habakkuk 2:19 "Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it."
This is God's description of the church houses of the last generation. They look so nice, and draw many to their beauty, structure and design, that it draws reverence and attention to it, rather than to Jesus Christ. Those sitting in the pews inside are spiritually dead, and just waiting to be used by Antichrist's world system.
The "breath", or "ruach" in the Hebrew text is the Holy Spirit, and His Spirit is gone from the building, and the people.
Habakkuk 2:20 "But the Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him."
Friend, when you are in Jesus Christ, and have opened your heart and mind to Him, then you are Christ's holy temple.
We live in the final generation of this earth age; which was established in May 15, 1948, according to Jesus in Matthew 24:32-35. Israel nation is that shoot planted, of that parable of the fig tree. Jesus said in verse 34; "This generation [that saw this happen] shall not pass away until all these things [the seals and the trumpets of the end times] be fulfilled." This is why we must study and arm ourselves with the gospel armor of Christ.
The final battle is a spiritual battle of words from the bible, from doctrines both true and false, and mind games played to deceive us. And they will if we are not prepared. When we lose this battle, it's the loss of our very soul and salvation if we chase after the Antichrist. This is why we must build up the walls of God's holy temple, which is our body and mind, so Satan's lies cannot penetrate the stronghold of our minds.
How long will the wicked one rule? Habakkuk saw in a vision that God's people would be caught up into Satan's nets, and he pleaded with God to let us know the truth. Habakkuk wanted to be the watchman, and to get the true word out to our people. God told Habakkuk exactly what to say, and we know the time of Satan's destruction will come when Jesus Christ returns at the seventh trumpet. Can you hold out until then?
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
