If you have never had the opportunity to know Jesus Christ and begin a personal relationship with Him, let me share with you one of the greatest gift's you will ever receive. God offers it to you for free, although the price Jesus personally paid was great. You can have this gift this very moment by simply accepting it.
"For the wages of sin is death(This is in reference to what the Bible calls "THE SECOND DEATH", Which is the death or end of your soul, i.e. TO BE NO MORE"); but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6: 23.
We all have sinned since birth, we were born into sin. This sin has separated us from God our creator and left us with an emptiness in our lives. We can attempt to fill this place with many things but nothing will satisfy the need we have to be reunited with God, our Father, our Creator.
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1: 8, 9.
All that we
need do is to ask Him to forgive us and to invite Him to be a part of
our lives. He has paid for the gift and offers it to us freely. He
asks us to believe in Him.
"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." Acts 16:31-
There is nothing we can do to earn the gift, we certainly don't deserve it. All the good deeds we could possibly do could not begin to pay the price for the gift.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"
"Not of works, lest any man should boast."
Ephesians 2:8, 9
If you would like to begin a new life in the family of God, and a relationship with Jesus Christ, simply say this prayer from your heart. Jesus is anxiously waiting to meet you! His arms are open wide!
"Lord Jesus I know I
am a sinner and You are my only hope for salvation... I ask you to come
into my life and to be my Lord and Saviour... I surrender myself to you
completely... I thank you for the great sacrifice you made on the Cross, shedding your sin free blood,
to pay for all my sins. Jesus arose from the tomb, defeating death
Jesus On the cross. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God
Jesus' Resurrection from the Dead/Mary is sad. She can't find His body.
1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God
I accept the free gift of Grace you are offering to me... I desire to have a relationship with You... May Your Holy Spirit come and live within my heart today... I make You my 'Lord' and 'Saviour'. Amen."
If you have prayed
this prayer (Sincerely) you have caused quite a party in heaven... You
have caused the angels to sing and rejoice.
"Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."
Luke 15:10
Congratulations you have made a true and everlasting Friend, One that will never abandon you.
"for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
Hebrews 13: -5
Think, for a minute about what John 3:13
is telling us. Since all of us were pulled off the earth when God
destroyed the 1st earth age after Lucifer’s overthrow attempt, and taken back to
heaven (as the host of heaven) waiting our turn
to be sent back to earth during this 2nd earth age, and we know Jesus was still in heaven in His spiritual/celestial
body while He came to earth to live with us for 30 years as a flesh and blood
human being, i.e. God living with us, until His crucifixion and resurrection on
the cross; do you think, for one minute that we are not also, still living
right now in heaven in our celestial/spirit/angelic
bodies, observing what we are doing right now in these flesh and blood bodies?
No wonder the angels sing when one of us repents! Luke 15:10 "Likewise, I say
unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner
that repenteth." It is probably your angel thats leading the singing because you repented!
Though Jesus Christ was the very Son of God, and the heir to all things in the universe, yet Jesus learned to be obedient to His Father. Jesus did all His suffering just for you and me and any one that would repent of their sins in Jesus name, and believe on Him. His prayers and tears were just for you. He wept because of the unbelief of those that refused to listen to Him. Jesus was here on earth for a purpose, and that purpose was to die on the cross, as prophesied many times in the Scriptures, but the reason for His tears was for the lack of faith of those that would not believe in Him
There is a qualifier in this verse as to who eternal salvation is offered to. Salvation is offered to anyone in the world "that obey Him". Today there is this idea that all you have to do is say that you believe and you are saved. Only because you have knowledge, that you would have faith. Faith does come by hearing the Word of God, but Christ's salvation is given to all them that obey Him. Christ is the Word that was made flesh and dwelt amongst us. That Word is what He spoke through the prophets and apostles which is what we are to obey. Obey is to take God's Word and absorb it into our minds, and do what that Word instructs us to do.
Paul is saying that he could tell us many things of the mysteries of God and His universe, but you wouldn't understand. It is hard for me to communicate with you, because you are slow to understanding anything in depth. "Dull" as used here means you are lazy in your effort to understand.
Stop and think for a
moment. Anyone that has heard of the promises of God's
salvation and many blessings, including the peace of mind
that comes from it all, has to be stupid and blind to
refuse them. Paul is saying that if you had understood
the Word, and listened to His instruction I could have
discussed even more with you, but because you are lazy,
you have not studied the Word.
The strong meat of the Word, of God's full plan is for them that are mature in God's Word. Babies are cute, and loveable, but it is a tragedy when a person stays at the mentality of a child all his life. There is no trust in them, nor is their stability. You will be considered strange when you become forty or fifty years old, and still wearing diapers, and sucking on a bottle of spiritual milk. That is exactly as a Christian is who has not risen above salvation and baptism, when they claim to be a Christian for many years.
The full meat of the Word is for those Christians that are using their gray matter, the common sense that God has given them. They are using "their senses exercised to discern both good and evil". That means that they are in the Word, and studying it for the exact meaning of what God is saying to them. That is how you come to full age in the Word as a Christian, and come to the point whereby you can discern between good and evil. What is of God, and what is not of God, but of the devil.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness Romans 6:.22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
