Pamphlet #8043 Ezekiel chapter 43

Our Father has given us a PICTURE of this Millennial temple and its laws and ordinances that we may see the plan of God in the Millennium

Do you remember in chapter eleven when Ezekiel saw the Glory of God depart from the East Gate of the Temple and go over and stand upon the Mount of Olives which is directly across the Kidron Valley opposite the East Gate?

Here is that account:

Ezekiel 11:22
Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
For a detailed description of the vehicle that the throne and the Glory of God was aboard, read chapters (Live Link)to-Ezekiel chapter one and (Live Link)to-Ezekiel chapter ten.
[23] And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.
Now in chapter 43 we are going to see the Glory of God return to the Temple in the same manner as it departed, i.e. from the Mount of Olives, where His feet shall first stand (Zech 14:4), through the East Gate and into the Inner Court and the Holy of Holies.
Zech. 14:4
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
THE OUTER EAST GATE - and the Vision of the Triumphal First Entry of the Messiah King into the House (when Ps. 24:7-10 will be fulfilled.) (vs. 1-5)
Ezekiel 43:1
Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:
Christ returns at the 7th Trump from the east, even as it is written in Matthew 24:27, "For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
[2] And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.
Behold is an understatement! And it is the voice of the Lamb whose voice is as the voice of many waters. Here He is standing "in a cloud" (which is a Greek figure of speech meaning in a group) on Mt. Zion with the 144,000 during the victory celebration.
Rev. 14:1
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

[2] And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

The next verse documents that Christ enters the Temple from east gate in the same manner (traveling the same way) as He appeared unto Ezekiel at the River Chebar.
Ezekiel 43:3
And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
This is de-ja vu for Ezekiel. He remembered well when he was by the River Chebar seeing the Glory of the Lord appear on His throne aboard the official Chariot of Israel, the highly polished circular whirling vehicle described in detail in chapter one. (Live Link)to Chpt.-one

Note: Ezekiel did not "come to destroy the city". This simply means when Ezekiel came "to prophesy" of the destruction of the city. Of course he had a reputation, didn't he?

[4] And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
Again, Jesus Christ with that magnificent Shekinah Glory surrounding Him, will enter through at the East Gate and then enter into the Inner Court and the Holy of Holies, along with His throne which wasn't in the Holy of Holies back in chapter 41 when Ezekiel first looked in!
Ezekiel 43:5
So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.
Here we see that Ezekiel is taken into the Inner Court where we know that only the priests of Zadok, who never went astray, are allowed to approach unto Christ. It looks like we've learned something about the watchman here, haven't we?

Now Jesus is going to speak directly to Ezekiel from the Inner Court as the angel stands by him.

YAHVEH'S COMMAND from "THE HOUSE" giving the "LAW OF THE HOUSE". (vs. 6-12)

[6] And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.
Here is what the Lord has to say to Ezekiel:
[7] And He said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
The time is soon coming when every person, including of all His enemies, will bow their knees to the King of kings and Lord of lords, and this location in the Temple is where He shall reign supreme upon His throne* throughout the Millennium and where the soles of His feet shall be placed, even upon His enemies, i.e. in authority over them all.
Hebrews 10:12
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

[13] From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

So we know from verse 12 where Christ is and where He comes from when He takes up residence in the Holy of Holies. The full Godhead however, won't be present until after the Great White Throne Judgment when the New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven in Rev. 21 and the Great City is established as the Headquarters of the Universe.

*Note: Some would interpret this to merely mean His "seat of authority" and while it truly is His seat of authority, it is also His literal throne "according to the vision he [Ezekiel] saw by the river Chebar" in Ezekiel 1:26 "And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it."

Notice also in Ezek. 43:7 that there will be no more defiling of God's House, nor idolatrous religious practices, nor worshipping of earthly kings, especially that abominable one! Jesus Christ shall RULE with a rod of iron as it is written in Rev. 12:5 & 19:15.

Here's what they did before:

Ezekiel 43:8
In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.
They (i.e. our ancestors, the ancient Israelites) set up God's house their "own" way, "arranging" things with the traditions of men in place of God's Word, and they led everyone to worship the "abominable desolator", the false-christ, instead of the true Messiah (still do in many/most of our Christian churches of today). Christ is going to put an end to it once and for all at the sound of the 7th Trump, that Day of God's Wrath.
[9] Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
Have you ever known an alcoholic or an addicted person or heard him (or her) describe the day he "hit bottom" and came face to face with the reality of his condition and how ashamed he was of his actions and the hurt he caused to many of his loved ones? It is perhaps a fitting analogy to the "shame" that many of us will feel on the day we "hit bottom" and come face to face with the Lord Jesus Christ and realize that we have been nothing but a bunch of WHORES! For many of us, our shame will be so great that we will try to hide in the dens and rocks and would rather the mountains fall on us, than have to face Him. Let's read of it.
Rev. 6:15
And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

[16] And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

[17] For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

The great day of His wrath, at the sound of the 7th Trump when Jesus Christ returns as King of kings and Lord of lords, will put an end to the whoredoms of man's religions and the "House of God", the very Kingdom of God, will be established upon this earth. We have been reading about that "House of God" and how it will be "arranged" during the 1000 year reign of Christ and His saints.

Let's continue in Ezekiel 43 with verse 10.

Ezekiel 43:10
Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
Here are the instructions to Ezekiel. He is to "SHOW THE HOUSE to the house of Israel". This should be a no-brainer since he himself has been shown every wall, gate, level, chamber, archway, door, etc., in the whole place, cubit by cubit by the angel who appeared like Bob Villa in translucent brass. Have you taken the cubit by cubit tour? You see, the watchman was shown "the house" in a vision, spiritually, even before the Millennium, even as we are "seeing" it now in the Word of God. Therefore during the Millennium the watchman (you, if you are one) will be a show-er not a show-ee! Do you understand?

But now notice why Ezekiel is to show it to them/us, "that they/we may be ashamed of their/our iniquities".  That they/we SHALL KNOW that the Word of God was true all along and that which was promised by Him and written of in Ezekiel, which they/we never studied nor were ever taught by their/our Biblically illiterate preachers, is present before them/us. It is a reality.  So Ezekiel is to show the measurements of the pattern, which means show THE PLAN of GOD and how it is going to be during the Millennium!

Note: We are going to breakdown this next verse phrase by phrase, for contained therein is what the spiritually "dead" people will be doing in the Millennium IF they wish to obtain salvation and be given "life" at the second resurrection (which is the second "raising" to the status of immortality, i.e. eternal life).

[11] And if they be ashamed of all that they have done,
This is a condition! You see, they will already know that He is LORD and that His Word is true, and Ezekiel is going to give them the Grand Tour and show them the "Plan" they must follow. So "IF" they are ashamed of all that they have done, which means they are repentant and finally willing to LISTEN to HIS INSTRUCTIONS, then...
shew them the form of the house,
Explain to them the details of the construction of the Temple, how it is put together.
and the fashion thereof,
Explain to them the arrangement of everything.
and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof,
Explain to them all the "Ins and Outs" of the Plan and who can go where and who can't.
and all the ordinances thereof,
Explain the principles and all the ordinances. We are beginning to SEE how much "discipline" there will be during the Millennium.
and all the forms thereof,
Explain to them all the boundaries and visible forms and what they are for.
and all the laws thereof:
And explain to them ALL the LAWS thereof.
and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
Now write the PLAN down for them so they KNOW exactly WHAT TO DO so that they can DO THEM, IF they are ashamed and now ready to prove their love to Him, not just for one day, but for a thousand years!

Remember, these are the words that the Lord is speaking directly to Ezekiel from within the Inner Court on His throne!

Ezekiel 43:12
This is [will be] the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
This will be the law regarding the Temple: Holiness! The whole area of the Temple upon the mountain SHALL BE HOLY, even MOST HOLY! Behold, this is how it is going to be. It is the Law of the house throughout the Millennium. Things will be quite different soon, won't they?

Next the angel will "size up" the Altar for us during the Millennium and we will be shown the details of some of the ordinances pertaining to it!

The Glory of the Lord has just returned to the Inner Court of the Temple and Jesus Christ has now laid down the Law of the House to be in effect for all of the Millennium. And because we will be in the spiritual dimension He has given specific instructions to the watchmen to "mark well" and BEHOLD with our eyes "to see" and HEAR with our ears "to hear" concerning the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and ALL the laws thereof. Pay real close attention to, i.e. mark well, the "entering in of the house" with "every going forth" of the sanctuary. Why? Because they tell us the duties of the Firstborn and the requirements of the salvation plan for the rest of the "dead" (spiritually) during the Millennium.

Ezekiel 44:5
And the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary.
Our Father has given us a PICTURE of this Millennial temple and its laws and ordinances that we may see the plan of God in the Millennium. That we focus on the spiritual is extremely important to our understanding of these last nine chapter of Ezekiel. Remember Paul wrote in 1 Cor. 15:50 that flesh and blood cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. Why? It is a different dimension than that of the flesh and much of what lies beyond that veil between the two dimensions is not even describable in physical, flesh terms. Here is an example to try and illustrate the point.

In the chapter 44 we are going to read the following concerning the Priests of the Zadok:

Ezekiel 44:17
And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.
Now in our mind's eye we can SEE and PICTURE white linen garments but we CANNOT SEE with flesh eyes what this represents in the Kingdom of God, beyond the veil in that dimension where everyone will be in their spiritual bodies. Here is what the linen garments actually are:
Rev. 19:8
And to her [the wife of Christ] was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Can you place a garment on an attitude? Does love have physical dimensions like length, depth and height? Can you measure love or the things which are spiritual with a yardstick or by the cubit or must you use a spiritual reed and a spiritual cubit? Well, the priests of the Zadok will not actually be wearing linen robes you visualize in your mind, they will be clothed with righteousness! You see, your righteous acts are all you can take with you when you die and enter the spiritual dimension!

Likewise, if the righteous acts of the saints can and will be taken with them, so can the unrighteous acts of the unrepentant be taken with them! They will not have white linen garments on, will they? "I'm sorry, you cannot see the King smelling like that with those filthy rags on." They are going to need to be "spiritually" CLEANED UP and PURIFIED and through much SACRIFICE, EARN some linen, for there shall be nothing unclean that shall enter the eternity, the Third Earth Age! Perhaps then we can begin to understand the following measurements of The Altar and the ordinances concerning the sacrifices which will be described in flesh and blood terminology.

The point is that even as the physical "linen garments" represent that which is spiritual so do the animal "sacrifices" described in the rest of this book represent that which spiritual!
As we resume our study of chapter 43 in verse 13, remember that these are the words that the Lord is speaking directly to Ezekiel from within the Inner Court from upon His throne! We just learned about the Law of the House and the program to recovery that the "dead" are going to have to follow during the Millennium. They are going to be taught, by the priests of God, to DISCERN between the holy and the profane, between Satan and his ways (liberalism) and Christ and his ways (the laws of liberty). When you look out across this nation today you can readily see there is much work to be done to educate this froward generation who has allowed the beast system to rear its ugly head in the "One Nation under God". How ashamed we should be!
Ezekiel 44:23
And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
If this objective is not successful, the people will perish in the lake of fire. Remember we read about some those educational trips to the Hamon-gog Memorial Cemetery and to the Pit Prison to see the man who deceived the nations, to help them "Learn to Discern", a true Millennium Motto. They shall learn and practice this for 1000 years at which time Satan will be let loose for a short season (Rev. 20:3) and they can decide whether to follow him once again or remain loyal and prove their love and devotion to their Father. Their decision at that time will either reap them the reward of eternal life or a trip into the lake of fire to perish with Satan!

Also as a reminder of that which we read earlier, during the Millennium we will be under the Law of the House, NOT the Levitical Law and sacrificial laws of blood sacrifice. Whereas the animal sacrifices that were under the old law were foreshadowings of the blood to be shed on Calvary, which eliminated blood sacrifices forever, the animal sacrifices described in these chapters of Ezekiel are foreshadowings of the spiritual sacrifices (of love) that will be made in the Millennium.

We are now going to be shown the measurements of The Altar in verses 13-17 and then the ordinances of The Altar in vs. 14-27.

THE ALTAR. 12 cubits square (25 ft. x 25 ft.) on its base (settle) of 14 cubits square. (vs. 13-17)

Ezekiel 43:13
And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
This is one of those verses that if you glance over or miss the key phrase in it, then you will probably read the remainder of this chapter and the next two chapters without much understanding of what we are to learn. The key phrase is the special reminder from chapter 40, verse 5, that the cubit used here is a cubit (6 handbreadths) PLUS a handbreadth (+1), making a 7 HANDBREADTH CUBIT, even a spiritually perfect cubit! Again, this is all about that which is SPIRITUAL not PHYSICAL! Do not forget that all people will be in their spiritual bodies and we will therefore be in the "spiritual dimension", the 7th Dispensation we call the Millennium.

So there will definitely be sacrifice during the Millennium, because you know why? Well, we already noted that there will be a lot of people who didn't make the First Resurrection who committed a lot of sins that haven't been forgiven. Faith and belief in Jesus Christ won't cut it at that time because He will be there and EVERY knee shall bow and ALL SHALL KNOW that He is the Lord. You see, faith is the substance and hope of that which you cannot see. That which you can already see does not require faith!

Also, there will be those who go astray! Yes, there will even be sin in the Millennium! That comes as a surprise to many folks, but sin and death is not gone from among us until the lake of fire consumes them away. True, there will be no sinful flesh and Satan will be bound and will not be able to influence God's children. But, only after the Great White Throne judgment will there be no more sin, when death and the grave are swallowed up in the lake of fire. Until then there's much work to be done.

So let's look at the measurements of The Altar beginning with verse 13. First, the term "span" is "zereth" in Hebrew and means "the spread of the fingers" much like you would span an octave on a piano keyboard. Verse 13 tells us (in almost undecipherable King James' language) that there is a "gutter" (see Moffat translation) around the base which is one cubit deep and one cubit wide and has a ledge or a rim around it about one span high. This makes a trench or a "pit", like an ash pit, around the base (see note in Companion Bible on vs. 13 "higher place").

Ezekiel 43:14
And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.
[15] So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.

[16] And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.

[17] And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.
Don't let this be confusing. The Altar itself is 12 cubits square and 4 cubits high with the four horns projecting upward from it. It rests upon it's settle (base) that is 14 cubits square and two cubits high. The height and breadth are the same as Solomon's Temple in cubits except that this altar has ledges for the priests to walk round and the cubits are 1/7th larger, SEE? You need eyes to see! Pray that the Holy Spirit gives you such eyes.

THE ORDINANCES OF THE ALTAR. (vs. 18-27)

There will be a 7 day cleansing and purification period of the Altar by the Priests of the Zadok before the "eighth day" when Christ will begin accepting the offerings of the people (see vs. 27).

Ezekiel 43:18
And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
"Thus saith the Lord GOD" is an emphatic commencement repeated in 45:9, 18, 46:1, 16, & 47:13. "When they shall make it" means "when they shall have the charge of it", i.e. to have charge of The Altar to offer burnt offerings thereon and to sprinkle blood thereon once it is cleansed and purified in the following manner (vv. 19-26).
[19] And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.
Only the priests of the Zadok, God's elect, shall perform these duties for they are the only ones allowed to approach Christ during the Millennium to minister unto him, according to Yahveh's oracle (saith the Lord GOD).

Again what we are seeing here in the sacrifices we are about to read of, is an analogy representing that which is spiritual.

Perhaps this would be a good place for the benefit of those who are not familiar with the ordinances and sacrifices in the Old Testament, to pause and understand a little about the different types of offerings. The following information is taken from appendixes 44 & 45 in the Companion Bible.

The burnt offering is called "Olah", so called from the Hiphil of the verb "'alah", to cause to ascend [as the flame and smoke ascend by burning]. In Greek holocausta, which conveys its meaning as being wholly burnt.

The sin offering is called "Chattath" in Hebrew, which comes from "chat'a", to sin by coming short of, by missing the mark in sins of commission.  "Also of the feet, to stumble and fall (Prov. 19:2). Hence, morally, a coming short, blameworthiness - not necessarily wilful."

And so it is that many will have stumbled and fallen and missed the mark, the First Resurrection. They will have come up short and will certainly need to make "Chattath", a sin offering.
The trespass offering is called "Asham" which means to sin through error or ignorance. Cp. Lev. 4:13, 5:2, 3, Num 5:6, 7, Judg. 21:22. Asham is a breach of commandment, done in ignorance, but when the guilt is proved, requiring atonement.
"Asham" just needs an "e" added on the end and "ashame" will appear. Biblical illiteracy and belief in the traditions of men like the Rapture Theory, though done in ignorance, will nevertheless cause one to miss the mark! The Millennium will provide a 1000 years for them to make their trespass offering, the Asham.
The meat offering is "Minchah" which means a present, as such. Hence a gift offering, not necessarily to secure admittance, but to secure favor. It might be sacrifice by blood, or more generally and later, without blood.
They must show their love, which is all that our Father wants from His children. But true love isn't just saying I love you, is it? Actions speak much louder that words!  Many will say they love Him while they worship the false messiah.
Ezekiel 43:20
And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.
The following few verses describe the cleansing of the Altar. Dr. Bullinger in the Companion Bible, pg. 1169, points out that in the Mosaic tabernacle, this ritual began with the consecration of the priests (Lev. 8:1-10), while here they are already consecrated (vv. 19, 26). Also, the offerings here (vv. 18-27) are National and Priestly (the Priest representing the Nation)... The sacrifices will not therefore be as when under the law. (That's correct. This is under the Law of the House.)
[21] Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.
This is in reference to Ex. 29:14 (see note in Companion Bible).
[22] And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.
[23] When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.
[24] And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
Salt denotes an indissoluble alliance. See note in Companion Bible on Num. 18:19 "covenant of salt".
[25] Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.
Seven denotes spiritual completeness. Remember the seven times cleansing of the land following the battle of Hamon-gog in chapter 39? The Millennium will be the time for the walking dead to cleanse and purify themselves and learn to discern between the holy and the profane.
Ezekiel 43:26
Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.
[27] And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.
Now that the Altar has been consecrated and purified for seven days, beginning on the eighth day and so forward throughout the Millennium, the priests will make the burnt offerings and peace offerings and the Lord GOD will accept the people's love offerings and have their actions recorded in their book! Because you see, when the Millennium is over the "walking dead" (those alive with mortal souls during the Millennium) will be judged according to their WORKS, that which they will have demonstrated by their actions in exercising their free will and ability to discern between the holy and the profane (especially when he, Satan,  is released for a little season), which works are recorded in the books. Here it is: (this is after the 1000 years -  see Rev. 20:7)
Rev. 20:12
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Notice that "books" is plural. Do you want to be one of those judged by your works at the end of the Millennium? Wouldn't you rather be part of that First Resurrection which comes with so many wonderful blessings? If you are, the second death, i.e. the judgment by works at the end of the Millennium which we just read about, does not apply because you are already holy, consecrated.

Here is your documentation:

Rev. 20:6
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
For the thousand years during the Millennium you will be doing the following:

Ministering unto Christ and standing before Him to offer unto Him the love offerings and sacrifices.

Ezekiel 44:15
But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel (in Christian nations of these end times) went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:
Keeping His charge, i.e. carrying out His commands to the nations and enforcing the Law of the House with His rod of iron.
Ezekiel 44:16
They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.
Make sure the people are taught and prepared and made spiritually ready for the final test when Satan is released.
Ezekiel 44:23
And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
Replace judge Judy with righteous judgments and replace the "We Think We're Supreme" Court decisions regarding prayer at football games.
Ezekiel 44:24
And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.
We have already learned and it has been emphasized that only the priests of the Zadok (the just, i.e. God's elect) will be able to approach Jesus Christ during the Millennium. It should now be made clear what Christ means when He will say to those who went to church every week and claimed to be born again Christians while worshipping Satan, the spurious messiah, and now they wish to approach unto Him during the Millennium:
Matthew 7:23
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
And so it will be that they must depart from Him for 1000 years and clean up their act and Learn to Discern so they don't have to do the Chattath anymore. Then we shall see!

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
