Creation, Evolution,
What is true?, What is false?

By John Rhine

Do you believe in "The Theory of Evolution"? Wow! That takes allot of faith! I for one would sooner put my faith in "Biblical Prophesy" which is incredibly specific and detailed and where over 2000 specific prophecies have already been provably fulfilled. Some by supernatural means. Ah! That is why some people put their faith in unproven scientific theories like evolution. They don't believe in the "Supernatural"!                Woe unto them!

Scientists who don't believe in creation say we evolved from monkeys but, they haven't found any bones to prove it! What they aren't wise enough to realize is that there are no bones. They're looking for bones from a world we lived in, "the age of the dinosaur", before we had bones (before we were placed in flesh and blood bodies)! We weren't yet in flesh and blood bodies during the first earth age, We were spirit being with spirit bodies prior to Lucifer's sin, when he enticed 1/3 of us to rebel against God (4 billion of us) and to follow him instead of God, when God in his fierce anger completely destroyed this earth leaving it without form,  totally flooded and void of life. (which brings us to Genesis 1:2)

As for me, I'll put my faith in the Bible, Where  over 2000 specific prophecies have already been fulfilled. That's a pretty darn good track record! The scientists who preach evolution can't even show me 1 bone to back their faith in the "Theory of Evolution"!

Creation, as stated in the Bib
le, may not be proved in the mind of some men until Christ's return and we are placed back in our celestial bodies with our memories restored but it will be proved accurate.

Read Genesis 1:26 Let us make man in our image , after our likeness;...
Who do you suppose God was talking to here in verse 26?  It was us of course. We were all with him when He created mankind, i.e. to place us here on earth again for this short stay in this 2nd. earth age in animal bodies (terrestrial bodies).

We all saw animal being born, living for a while, and then dieing in the first earth age, but none of us ever died back then, from the time we were first created in the beginning, so we could not really appreciate what it meant to die and no longer exist.

Yes, I'm sure God knew we needed to learn about life and death.

What better way to teach us a lesson about the permanency of death then to have us all, in our turn, spend a short time here, in a second earth age, for ourselves, in a animal body to experience both life and death, having loved ones live and then die, just as animals do, whereby losing all our ability to communicate with that loved one any more. (which brings us to Genesis 1:26)

Why do I believe
everything the Bible says about creation or anything else?

Because the scripture says
, "Despise not prophesying. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good" (1 Thes. 5:20-21) If you do your research and prove all prophecies of God, which are quite specific, real, and genuine because they do not exist anywhere else,  except in the Bible you will discover that some two thousand specific prophecies have already been fulfilled. Based on this record, why would I not believe the creation account as told in Genesis!

Here are two examples of prophecies fulfilled:
Tyre & Sidon

Consider the prophecies concerning Tyre and Sidon, two great cities on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean. Tyre was to the sea what Babylon was to the land. The prophet in the Old Testament declared that the city of Tyre would be destroyed, never to be rebuilt, and never again to be inhabited (Ezek.. 26:19-21) He also warned the city of Sidon that the inhabitants would be decimated but the city would continue (Ezek. 26:21-23). The facts are that the city of Sidon was attacked, it was attacked by its own king, 40,000 of the inhabitants were killed: but the city of Sidon continues until this time.

What happened to the city of Tyre? These are some of the specific prophecies about it. Ezekiel declared when Tyre  was at its height: "And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust  from her, and make her like the top of a rock. It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God. . .And they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water,  . . And I will make thee like the top of a rock: . . .thou shall be built no more for I the Lord have spoken it" (Ezek. 26:4-5, 12-14). A few years after writing of this prophecy, the great Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon brought his army to Tyre and laid siege to the city. For thirteen years the city of Tyre withstood the efforts of the king of Babylon. Finally the walls of the city crumbled and the hordes of the Babylonian army poured into the city and put its remaining inhabitants to the sword. Thousands, however, had fled into the sea by boat to form the new city of Tyre on an island a half mile out in the Mediterranean. The prophecy was fulfilled, therefore, only in part.

Some might say that Ezekiel wrote this prophecy after the events happened, but that is impossible. Centuries went by. Two hundred and fifty years later, when Ezekiel had long been moldering in his grave, most of the walls of Tyre still stood jutting into the sky__mute testimony to the fact that the prophecy had not been fulfilled.  Millions of tons of stone, rubble, and timbers were left, and yet God had said the city would be scraped clean like the top of a rock __that the stones and the timbers and the very dust of  the city would be cast into the sea. What madman could possibly come along two hundred fifty years later and complete this unfulfilled prophecy? It seemed as if God was wrong; yet the Bible had declared, "I the Lord have spoken it."

Then, like a bugle call, there came a thrill of terror out of the north, as a mighty conqueror appeared on the horizon. Alexander the great was poised at the Strait of the Dardanelles readying his attack on the dominant Persian Empire. He crossed that Strait and gave to the King of Persia his first crushing defeat. The mighty Persian army turned and fled to the south, then inland to the east, with Alexander in hot pursuit. However, before turning inland to follow the fleeing army, Alexander, as a great strategist, decided to nullify the effects of the mighty Persian navy. He sealed off all the ports on the eastern end of the Mediterranean. Finally Alexander came to new Tyre, built with impregnable walls a half mile out in the Mediterranean. He commanded the city to surrender. When its inhabitants laughed at his command, Alexander with his chief engineer, Diades, conceived the boldest and most daring plan in the history of warfare: they would build a causeway across the half mile of the Mediterranean Sea to the island of new Tyre.

Where would they find the materials for such a causeway? The order was issued by the great king: "Tear down the walls of old Tyre, take the timber and the stones, and the rubble and the logs, and cast them into the sea." So the great .army of Alexander obediently began to fulfill the Word of God.

Old Tyre was leveled. The stones and the timber and the dust were carried and cast into the sea. They scraped the very city itself to get everything they needed to make this highway in order to destroy the new city of Tyre. New Tyre was finally besieged, destroyed, and leveled.

God had said he would destroy the walls of Tyrus and make her like the top of a rock. He said that it would become a place for the spreading of nets.Today that is exactly how it is. Fishermen use the old site to spread their nets on the top of the rock. Let any unbeliever explain those prophecies!

It is pretty obvious to me that our Lord God is in charge of everything that goes on in all the universe!

I have a Bible "Dake's Annotated Reference Bible" which makes note of all the Bible prophecies and whether they have been fulfilled or remain unfulfilled to date.
It is very interesting reading. If you have access to a copy of this Bible please take some time to learn of them. You will be impressed!

Consider the magnificent city of Babylon, perhaps the greatest city in ancient times. Walls fourteen or fifteen miles long, two to three hundred feet tall, one hundred eighty-seven feet thick at the base enclosing one hundred ninety-six square miles of beautiful architecture. hanging gardens and palaces, temples and towers. Yet God said of Babylon when it was the greatest city in the world: "Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah" (Isa. 13:19). There are more than 100 specific prophecies concerning Babylon's fate. You can find no trace of Babylon's walls today!

I believe the people who say the Bible was written by men are simply expressing their own ignorance of the subject. There is nothing like it in the literature of the world, religious or irreligious.

The hand that wrote these Scriptures was the hand of none other than that one who could say,
"I am the first and the last; I am the beginning and the end, I am he that knows all things. i am he that declares the things that are not yet come to pass."

I believe God gave us over two thousand predictions in the Bible,
which have come true, in order that we may learn to believe his promises;  in order that we may believe everything that he says as recorded in the Bible.
And that includes His creation message
.

But, we are all lost sinners and God felt a need to salvage our souls, So meet the great-great-grand-parents of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who were formed on the eighth day, after God's day of rest. See Genesis 2:7

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
