Pamphlet 6057 Isaiah KC 13-2 xxx

Today one does not need a "license" nor permission to obtain access to God's Word.
(The fact is back in 1611 one not only had to obtain a license to have access to the scriptures, he had to first be approved by his confessor to even be deemed worthy of obtaining that license.)

In fact as of 2001 there were 168,000 Bibles sold PER DAY in the U.S. alone! The point is, that His Word is literally available to anyone who wishes to obtain it and study it. And you know what else? One does not need a "license" nor permission to obtain access to God's Word, nor does one need to first acquire a PhD, a ThD, a seminary degree, or any other of man's "higher learning" degrees to be able to read and understand the letter our Father wrote to each of His children individually in these last days. All one needs are some basic study tools, a little courage, and a sincere desire to seek and understand that which is written regardless of what traditions he or she may have learned growing up.

Furthermore, we should all be thankful for the availability and opportunity to study His Word in these last days. Just compare how blessed we are to the era of 1611 when our Father commissioned the man who sat on the throne of David in that day, i.e. King James, to translate and make His Word available to the common man. The fact is back in 1611 one not only had to obtain a license to have access to the scriptures, he had to first be approved by his confessor to even be deemed worthy of obtaining that license. That is because the prevailing church of that time did NOT want the people to have access to the Word of God, lest they read it and discover the truth that there is only one mediator between God and man... and it is NOT an earthly preacher or priest (1 Tim. 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.")

That is why we recommend to all who study the Word of God to obtain and read the letter that the translators of the 1611 KJV wrote to the English reader. Of course wouldn't you know it, that letter has been removed from the pages of most Bibles which is surely to the advantage and benefit of someone other than the common man, isn't it? Nevertheless, below is an excerpt from the Letter to the Reader.  Also, please know that it is not our intent to single out any particular church or denomination but rather to make the point that if your church is steeped in the traditions of men rather than concentrating on teaching Father's Word chapter by chapter and line by line, then you had better take heed and wake up and ask yourself how it is that we as a professing Christian nation have become so Biblically illiterate when the Word of God is so readily available? Consider again the verses we read from Matthew 7:24-27 and ask yourself where you stand! Is your faith built upon the knowledge and wisdom from His Word or the vain traditions of men taught by churchianity?

"THE UNWILLINGNESS OF OUR CHIEF ADVERSARIES, THAT THE SCRIPTURES SHOULD BE DIVULGED IN THE MOTHER TONGUE, ETC.

"Now the Church of Rome would seem at the length to bear a motherly affection towards her children, and to allow them the Scriptures in their mother tongue: but indeed it is a gift, not deserving to be called a gift, an unprofitable gift: [Sophecles] they must first get a License in writing before they may use them, and to get that, they must approve themselves to their Confessor, that is, to be such as are, if not frozen in the dregs, yet soured with the leaven of their superstition. Howbeit, it seemed too much to Clement the Eighth that there should be any License granted to have them in the vulgar tongue, and therefore he overruleth and frustrateth the grant of Pius the Fourth. [See the observation (set forth by Clemen. His authority) upon the 4. rule of Pius the 4. his making in the index, lib. prohib. pag. 15. ver. 5.] So much are they afraid of the light of the Scripture, (Lucifugae Scripturarum, as Tertulian speaketh) that they will not trust the people with it, no not as it is set forth by their own sworn men, no not with the License of their own Bishops and Inquisitors. Yea, so unwilling they are to communicate the Scriptures to the people's understanding in any sort, that they are not ashamed to confess, that we forced them to translate it into English against their wills. This seemeth to argue a bad cause, or a bad conscience, or both. Sure we are, that it is not he that hath good gold, that is afraid to bring it to the touchstone, but he that hath the counterfeit; [Tertul. de resur. carnis.] neither is it the true man that shunneth the light, but the malefactor, lest his deeds should be reproved [John 3:20]: neither is it the plain dealing Merchant that is unwilling to have the weights, or the meteyard brought in place, but he that useth deceit. But we will let them alone for this fault, and return to translation."

As wise old Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 1:9, "There is nothing new under sun"! And so it is that we are now in the midst of another "dark age" which is the great famine of the last days that is so clearly explained by the prophet Amos in verse 8:11 of his book, "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD". The good news is that you do not have to participate in that famine but can rather feast at the table of the Lord any time you so desire. Just follow the great Shepherd and He will cause you to lie down and rest in the lush green pastures of His Word and lead you beside the still (calm, not raging and roaring) waters whereby you will not need to turn to pharmakeus.

Let us read from the 9th chapter of Isaiah.

Isaiah 9:8
The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.
Again, the simple fact of the matter is that the natural seedline of Jacob who today basically comprise the Christian nations of the world headed by America and Great Britain, have the Word of God, the precious Light of Truth, available to them. And it is through that Word that our Father speaks to us... IF we will go to Him and hear His Voice! Here is what Paul wrote to the "Hebrews", even to those of the house of Israel who are mature enough to partake of and digest the "meat" of God's Word, as opposed to those who have attended church for so long they should be able to teach others but instead are still nursing on the milk of salvation and baptism, meaning they are still immature "babes" in the Word (Heb. 5:11-14).
Hebrews 1:1-2
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

[2] Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;

And so it is that the natural seedline of Jacob, true House of Israel, has the Word and testimony of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, the one called in Isaiah 9:6 "Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." And as it is written concerning these last days, He speaks to us through that Word and testimony, which is the Word of God. The question is, "Have you heard His Voice lately?"

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
