Pamphlet 6026 Isaiah KC 6-6 x
The subject in this chapter is the House of Israel, the true House of Israel*.
We have now come to the 5th chapter of Isaiah which concerns
our Father's vineyard,
beginning with the "Song of the Vineyard" followed by
the "Parable of the Vineyard".
Of course the key to understanding what is written in
this 5th chapter
is to understand exactly what the vineyard is
and here in this great 5th chapter of Isaiah we are told
in vs. 7 that it "is the house of Israel,
and the men of Judah His pleasant plant: and He looked
for judgment, but behold oppression;
for righteousness, but behold a cry (or an outcry)."
So the subject in this chapter is the House of Israel, the true House of Israel*.
*Note: If you do not know who the so-called lost 10 tribes of the House of Israel are and where they dwell today go to Pamphlet #1064 or Pamphlet #1020 under Table of Contents "Biblical Wisdom" on the this American Wisdom Series site.
Jesus Christ referred to this Parable of the Vineyard
in Luke 20:9-16
where He talked about a certain man who planted a vineyard
and let it forth to husbandmen and then went into a far
country for a long time.
He then sent servants unto the husbandmen that they should
give him of the fruit of the vineyard,
but the husbandmen beat all the servants he sent until
finally he sent his son!
But they cast his son out of the vineyard and killed him.
Woe!
Then at the end of that parable Christ talked about the
"stone" which the builders rejected,
the same which is become the head of the corner,
and when the religious community finally figured out
that He was talking about them,
they sought to kill Him.
Isn't it amazing what the religious community is capable of doing... in the name of God of course?
One of the lessons we have learned so far in this great
Book of Isaiah
is that our leaders are put there to watch over us
and serve God's children in accordance with His laws
and His statutes which are truth and justice.
And especially our spiritual leaders who are charged with
keeping the knowledge of our Father's Word upon their lips
and are commanded to speak His words... for they are
His messengers!
Malachi 2:7 "For the priest's
lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law
at His mouth:
for he is the messenger of the
LORD of hosts."
But instead it seems that most would
rather teach the traditions of men and play church
rather than teach His Word chapter
by chapter and verse by verse.
And so it is that our Father's vineyard has suffered greatly and He is not happy about it!
So when payday soon comes,
those who have led our people astray to follow after
the traditions of men shall receive their just reward...
Woe!
