"My Right to Privacy"
by John Rhine
I say, "I have a right to my privacy and government has no right to invade my privacy".
Some people say, "If you have nothing to hide why should government intrusions bother you".
I
say, "It would justify the public release of just about anything:
your
credit card purchases,
your
telephone records,
your
medical conditions and more."
The
ability to invade privacy implies ownership,
and
that's why most of us detest it so much.
This
is not an effort to hide;
it
is an expression of human dignity.
