Are You Putting Your Faith In God or Man?

We are continually being bombarded with propaganda
introducing socialistic programs into our daily lives.
We are told in glowing terms all about the benefits
of government-supplied housing, hospitalization, etc.

Perhaps you are one of the easy-going,
soft-hearted person’s who says,
"What’s wrong with that?"

Consider what socialism has done for England and Sweden.
Both of these countries are nearly bankrupt
and both have the highest taxation rate in the world.
It takes seven to eight years on a waiting list
for young couples to get a decent state-furnished apartment.
It takes months and months of waiting to get into a state-furnished hospital.
You don’t pick your doctor; you take what is offered.
You have no name; you’re a number.
A Gallup Poll revealed that 20 percent of the people living there
would like to move to another country where they could be free.

Socialism removes personal responsibility from the individual
and creates the ideology that their needs will be taken care of by others.
In a manner of speaking, you become little more than an animal.

In this situation God has to be removed
because of people’s dependency on the government
rather than on Him.

In countries where socialism rules,
religion is suppressed to the underground church.
This leads to a rise in crime and immorality.

Americans, just like you and me,
are allowing more and more socialism into our lives.
Not only are the churches, schools,
and the various branches of governments pouring out their programs,
we’re accepting them with hopes of getting more.

Sad but true, most Americans do not know what socialism means.
To most Americans the word socialism is a word without specific meaning.

According to the dictionary it means:

(1) Any of various theories or systems of the ownership and operation
of the means of production and distribution by society or the community
rather than by private individuals, with all members of society
or the community sharing in the work and products.

(2) A political movement for establishing such a system, the doctrines,
methods, etc. of the Socialist parties.

(3) The stage of society, in Marxist doctrine, coming between the capitalist stage
and the communist stage, in which private ownership
of the means of production and distribution has been eliminated: see COMMUNISM.

Dr. Joseph F. Fletcher, Professor of Ethics at Cambridge Episcopal Theological School,
believes the Ten Commandments are no longer valid as originally given.

He thinks they should be amended to read:
"Thou shall not covet, ordinarily.
Thou shall not kill, ordinarily.
Thou shall not commit adultery, ordinarily."

In other words, anything and everything is right or wrong according to the situation.

Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., a Harvard professor and former adviser
to the late President John Kennedy, has written:
"Socialism dispensed with the absurd Christian myths of sin and damnation."

He believed that what short comings man might have were to be redeemed,
not by Jesus Christ on the cross,
but by the benevolent unfolding of history.

He further states: "Tolerance, free inquiry and technology operating
in the framework of human perfectability would, in the end,
create a heaven on earth – a goal accounted much more
sensible and wholesome than a heaven in heaven."

Mr. Schlesinger, interestingly, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

In 1961 a survey was conducted of one hundred ministerial students at eight different seminaries.
Fifty-six percent of the students stated that they did not believe in the Divinity of Christ.
Two percent believed in the eternal nature of a man’s soul.
And only one percent believed in the literal second coming of Jesus.

America was founded on Christian principles
and grew to be a great nation with God’s favor.

Schools were often held in the churches.
Children were taught to read from the Bible.

They were taught values and character.
Yet today, we have seen the government turn its back on God
and remove religion from public schools.

We have seen a bunch of men wearing black robes legalize abortion.
We have seen government programs provide birth control devices to our students at school.

Sadly, today, we do not have any political party in office
upholding and protecting the Constitution.

We have seen many churches prostitute themselves with politics for 501 (c) status.
Government corruption is running rampant and church leaders remain silent.
America’s Christian leaders thus far have failed to face down government corruption.
America can no longer afford for its patriots to stand on the side lines.

"I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men,
the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God.
But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God.
And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven,
but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven." Luke 12:8-10

Socialism vs. the American Constitutional principles.

Then you decide what you want to support.
