Pamphlet 5053 KC Daniel 24-2
Satan
is going to wine and dine anyone who is willing to be swayed,
including
those who shall betray their sons and daughters
and
loved ones by delivering them up to him.
Let's return to Daniel and continue to read and learn about Satan and how he has intelligence with (i.e. instructs) his little people (those who forsake the covenant), i.e. the locust army.
Daniel 11:31
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
It is the vile person, the abominable one himself, the desolator, who stands in the holy place claiming he is God.
Remember he is the one Christ warned us about in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 when He referred us to the Book of Daniel for understanding.
Mark 13:14
But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,)
Many men have guessed about what the "abomination of desolation" is, including everything ranging from a statue standing in the Vatican to "you name it".
However, Jesus Christ said it (he) is the one spoken of by Daniel the prophet!
So he that "readeth the Book of Daniel" doesn't have to guess but walks away with the understanding not only of who the abomination is, but how it is he takes away the daily sacrifice in these last days.
Of course we know that the first time the daily sacrifice (the morning and evening oblation) was taken away was at the crucifixion, which was when Jesus Christ became our morning and evening oblation, our "daily sacrifice", once and for all time.
However when Satan, the false Messiah, the "stand-in" or "instead-of-Jesus" appears, he takes away the real Christ (our daily sacrifice) from the minds of those who are deceived and places himself there, causing those Christian's to become his, which is to become spiritually dead indeed, wouldn't you agree?
And so it is easy to understand the great falling away at the false messiah's appearance, because in one day, those who claim to love and worship the Lord Jesus Christ, because they are ignorant of God's Word (i.e. do not have the seal of God (His truth) in their foreheads) begin to worship Satan believing he is Jesus Christ.
At that point, their daily sacrifice, Jesus Christ, has just been taken away from them and they are now in deep trouble with their heavenly Father.
Dan 11:32
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
But the "bruisers", those who do know their God, shall "be strong in the Lord" (Eph. 6:10), yea, they shall be strong "in the power of His might" (Eph. 6:10), and shall do exploits.
What are those exploits?
Read the next verse.
[33] And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
However, the majority of the people shall nevertheless fall by the sword (words) of the king of Babylon, and by the flame of his fiery darts, and by the security of his captivity, and by the spoil of his prosperity.
Note: These who fall in this verse are a different group than those in verse 35 below.
How is it that those with understanding shall instruct many?
It is accomplished when God's elect are delivered up to the false messiah and the Holy Spirit speaks through them declaring that the King of king and Lords and lords is coming to put an end to the reign of the false messiah, the abomination of desolation who is standing in Jerusalem claiming to be Jesus Christ.
Mark 13:9-17
But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.[10] And the gospel (of the kingdom) must first be published (proclaimed) among all nations.
Also, the word "publish" used here is "kerusso" which means to "herald" or "proclaim".
Matthew uses the phrase "gospel of the kingdom" meaning that the good news will be proclaimed that the King and his dominion are soon coming and Babylon the Great is about to be smashed to smithereens!
(If you would like to read the context of the proclamation, just read Joel 3:9-17.)
kerusso, kay-roos'-so, Greek 2784; of uncertain affinity; to herald (as a public crier), especially divine truth (the gospel) :- preach (-er), proclaim, publish
The Holy Spirit will speak through them as per the ensample given in Acts chapter 2 on that first Pentecost Day following the resurrection.
[11] But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
[12] Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
Remember, world peace will have arrived with the little horn and Satan is going to be playing the role of Jesus, so he is not going to run around seeking to kill people.
But if one delivers his brother to the false messiah, even though in his heart he believes the one standing in Jerusalem is Jesus, and thus causes his brother to believe also, i.e. to worship Satan, he has just betrayed his brother to death, spiritual death!
In ignorance, yes, but betrayed nevertheless.
You "see", the daily sacrifice, Jesus Christ, will have been taken from him causing him to become spiritually slain, spiritually dead... but such will not be the case with the "bruisers" who will be hanging in there withstanding all the persecution and fiery darts that the old dragon can muster.
[13] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
However,
they shall stand and as it is written, those
who "endure" unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Notice it did not say that
those who are flown away in the rapturemobile will be saved?
God's Word says that those who remain behind (endure) and are not swept away in the spiritual flood shall be the ones saved.
In fact, the Greek word for "endure" means to remain behind, to be left behind!
endure, hupomeno, hoop-om-en'-o, Greek 5278; from Greek 5259 (hupo) and Greek 3306 (meno); to stay under (behind), i.e. remain; figurative to undergo, i.e. bear (trials), have fortitude, persevere :- abide, endure, (take) patient (-ly), suffer, tarry behind.
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits;
to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy
Spirit, you accomplish both.
