Please note, the major signs of the season
denoting the final fig tree generation are clearly upon us,
letting us know the we are drawing ever closer to the event
which transpires in that 21st verse,
which is the entering in of the "vile person"!

Jesus Christ told His disciples in Matthew 24:2 that when He returned at His second advent, there will "not be one stone of (the temple) upon another that shall not be thrown down."

That prompted the disciples to come to Him privately and ask Him two questions concerning the final generation.

Matthew 24:3
And as He sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
In answer to the first question "when", Jesus told His disciples to learn the Parable of the Fig Tree (Mat. 24:32) and then they would be able to determine when the final generation began, the generation that would see all these things come to pass (Mat. 24:34).

He answered the second question by giving the 7 signs that correspond to the 7 seals in the Book of Revelation, one of which was that they would see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place where "it" (he) ought not!

You "see", we have learned from Daniel that the "abomination of desolation" is an entity, even Satan himself, that abominable one who shall come and "sit in the temple (2 Thes. 2:5)" and spread his abominable lies and deception and cause the daily sacrifice to be taken away by claiming that he is Jesus Christ, the one who died for us (our sacrifice).

Remember, it is written that he shall be so prosperous and successful that he will deceive the whole world with the exception of those who have the seal of God in their foreheads, who are those who are knowledgeable of their Father's Word, and thus much spiritual desolation shall be brought upon the world through the spread of his lies and deceits.

It is from a study of the Parable of the Fig Tree that we know the final generation began on May 15th, 1948, when both the good and bad figs of Jeremiah 24 were set out in the land of Judea

And although a generation is a span of time, the firstborn of the Baby Boomer generation (the fig tree generation) are fast approaching retirement age... call it full of age or maturity and then draw the analogy to harvest time at the end of the season!

The point is that we have already seen many of the signs Jesus Christ gave us come to pass, which means we are drawing nearer and nearer to that time Christ warned us of when we shall see the abomination of desolation come stand in the holy place!

We shall read about that "vile person's" standing up in today's study and learn in greater detail how he accomplishes the desolation and spreads his abominations.

Earlier we learned about the major role the "daughter" has played in the unrest and turmoil in the Middle East.

That daughter is symbolic of religion and in particular Islam with its different branches.

And although we have presented as speculation the overlay of certain historical figures, events, and religions with the prophecies in this 11th chapter, let there be no doubt or speculation that the events written heretofore in this chapter take place during the final generation of the fig tree for they directly precede the entering in of the "little horn", who is the false messiah who comes at the sound of the 6th Trump.

To that end, the history following the planting of the fig tree, i.e. since 1948, show there have been many attempts at making covenants and agreements to instill peace in the Middle East region, but so far all have failed... and it is for religious reasons that they have come up short.

And so it is that we shall continue to hear the cry for "peace, peace" in the land of Judea but there shall be no real and lasting peace until the Prince of Peace returns to this earth.

However, before He returns there shall come a would-be-prince-of-peace who shall enter in and heal the deadly wound to the New World Order and cause the world to believe he is God, even the God of all religions.

And you know what?

For a while this will seem to resolve the religious question... until the bruisers, God's elect, come forth and give the old dragon a painful reality lesson in sword fighting!

So let's return to our study in Daniel chapter 11 and continue seeing the details written to come to pass in this final generation just before the entering in of the "vile person", who is none other than Satan posing as Jesus Christ.

Remember when we left off in our last study, Daniel was told by the angel that the "robbers of thy people", who are the kenites, shall stand up, as in exalt themselves, and try to establish the vision of "peace, peace", but they shall fail in their attempt... that is until they become strong with the "little horn" in verse 23!

Daniel 11:14
And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.
Remember also that the focus is now the land of Judea, the glorious land, where a predecessor who is a type of the little horn shall come stand and do according to his will, not according to the righteousness of God.

One must understand that Satan desperately wants to come "stand in the holy place (Mat. 24:15)" and "sit in temple of God (2 Thes. 2:4)" and he has children, the sons of Cain, using the four hidden dynasties to "set up" and prepare the way for him to "enter in".

Daniel 11:16
But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.
The region being spoken of is the "glorious land", the land of Judea wherein lies Jerusalem.

Just keep in mind as we see peace efforts continue that there is only one "roadmap to peace" and that is Jesus Christ, the Word of God.

He is Way!

Daniel 11:17
He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.
He shall "set his face" is an idiom used to express a fixed purpose, which in this case is to enter (into an agreement) with the strength of his whole kingdom, even with the backing of the upright ones!

In other words, that express purpose is to "make equitable terms" (of peace), but the "daughter of women" shall not stand on his side, meaning Islam will not stand on his side nor the side of the upright ones to make equitable terms.
(See note in Companion Bible concerning "making equitable terms.)

It just may be that favoritism shown by the upright ones on the side of the robbers of thy people may prove to be a roadblock to the roadmap!

Think about it!

Nevertheless, the word "women" in this verse is plural and again, since the feminine is so often used symbolically in scripture to represent religion, this "daughter" or branch of "women" can be symbolic also of religion, which in this case would be a branch or offshoot of Islam.

daughter, #1323 bath bath
From H1129 (as feminine of H1121); a daughter (used in the same wide sense as other terms of relationship, literally and figuratively): - apple [of the eye], branch, company, daughter, X first, X old, + owl, town, village.
women, #802 'ishshah nash?ym ish-shaw',naw-sheem'
The first form is the feminine of H376 or H582; the second form is an irregular plural; a woman (used in the same wide sense as H582).: - [adulter]ess, each, every, female, X many, + none, one, + together, wife, woman. Often unexpressed in English.
Remember that we are still giving speculation and considering historical overlays leading up to verse 21, at which point all speculation ends.

However, the major signs of the season denoting the final fig tree generation are clearly upon us, letting us know the we are drawing ever closer to the event which transpires in that 21st verse, which is the entering in of the "vile person", the antichrist!

You "see", we are not given the precise moment (for it is written that no man knows the exact hour or the day), but rather as wise students of His Word we are to be watchmen and watch the events that transpire at this late hour and consider them as we see them come to pass.

Matthew 24:33 "So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors."

[18] After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.
This one who shall stand up in the glorious land shall be unsuccessful even after securing the support of the isles (maritime countries), which is symbolic of nations of great commerce and trade.

However, as is often the case, trouble within puts a halt to progress.

A prince "for his own behalf" means for "his own interest".

[19] Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.
He shall then set his determination toward securing the support of his own land, but he will stagger and fail in his attempt.

Seems we still cannot not achieve peace in the glorious land, neither through diplomatic means nor even with the power of the arm!

Hopefully you can see that it will most assuredly take a "religious beast" to resolve the deep seated religious differences in the glorious land.

[20] Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
This "raiser of taxes" means an oppressor, one who plunders (the temple).

He shall stand up in the glory of the kingdom, even in Jerusalem!

However, within a few days the spurious messiah shall end his stance because he shall enter in and heal the deadly wound which will have taken place and he shall obtain the kingdom by flatteries (next verse), not by force nor in battle.

In other words, this is when Satan, the "vile person (next verse)" is cast out of heaven to this earth along with his angels (Rev. 12:7-9) and takes the world by (spiritual) storm.

[21] And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
You "see", this "vile person" is not GIVEN the kingdom!

He just enters in and takes it by peaceful means!

He does not go around killing people, as many churches would have us believe concerning antichrist, but rather he enters in peaceably, even bringing peace to the world, and uses his smooth soothsaying talk (flatteries), coupled with performing miracles in the sight of men (Rev. 13:13), to obtain the kingdom.

It is easy to understand how it is that the spurious messiah heals the deadly wound and ushers in world peace if you understand that he is not a flesh man, as again many churches would have you believe, but rather he is an angelic being, a cherub, which means he is supernatural.

That is why it is written that when he is cast out of heaven to this earth there will be a time of trouble (spiritual tribulation) such as never was since this flesh age began (Dan. 12:1, Mat. 24:21).

What an exciting time in which we live!

And to think... there is only one major benchmark yet to occur in Bible prophecy before this event of Daniel 11:21, and that is the "deadly wound" to the political beast recorded in Revelation 13, which is a fatal blow to one of the heads of the New World Order!

(Have you been watching and keeping up with what has been happening in the world order lately?)

It is important that YOU Read it all!

Jesus said, "the book of Daniel was where one could go read and gain understanding"

Jesus Christ told us in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 when He sat upon the Mount of Olives and gave His disciples the seven seals concerning the knowledge and the events that would transpire during the final generation of the fig tree, that the book of Daniel was where one could go read and gain understanding concerning the abomination of desolation, that abominable desolator (antichrist) who would come stand in the holy place claiming to be God.
The book of Daniel is the Apocalypse of the Old Testament
and a sister book to the Apocalypse of the New Testament,
the book of Revelation.
