Pamphlet 5048 KC Daniel 21-3
What a time to live!
It is an amazing thing to see our
Father's Word come to pass
exactly as it is written for it
gives us great hope and peace of mind
and indeed strengthens our faith
(Not to mention it gives me Goosebumps!).
Let us now return to Daniel 10 where Gabriel is speaking to Daniel.
Daniel 10:14
Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.
This angel of the Lord, after being with the prince of the kingdom of Persia for 21 days, has now come to make Daniel understand what shall befall his people in the latter days.
Since you and I are in those latter days, we need to pay close attention to what is being said.
Daniel 10:15
And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
You might say he was it total shock and awe!
Daniel 10:16
And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
[17] For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
[18]Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
The word strengthened means “strengthened for endurance”, to go the distance!
Remember the words of Jesus Christ in Matthew 24, "He who endures unto the end shall be saved."
You
“see”, we are Christian soldiers in the army of God and our war in these
last days is
not
against flesh and blood,
but
against principalities and powers and wicked spirits in high places.
Our soldiers went to the Gulf region highly trained and skilled in the art of modern warfare.
See that you are highly trained and skilled in the art of spiritual warfare (Eph. 6)!
[19] And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
He told Daniel to "Be Strong, yea, Be Strong", which is also what the apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians chapter 6.
Ephes. 6:10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and (be strong) in the power of His might.
All we need to do is be strong in the Lord and use that power.
Luke 10:19
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.[Yes, he's talking about the serpant from the garden of Eden! and his followers]
It was to strengthen him by his words of understanding.
Let's repeat what Daniel just said: "And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me (Dan. 10:19)." Daniel repeated twice that he had been strengthened!
Daniel 10:20
Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
Do you remember who the "he goat" was in chapter 8 that comes up close to the ram and turns on him with choler?
Gabriel just told Daniel that he is now going to go back and fight with the prince of Persia and when he does, lo, "the prince of Grecia shall come"!

From H6004; adverb or preposition, with (that is, in conjunction with), in varied applications; specifically equally with; often with prepositional prefix (and then usually unrepresented in English): - accompanying, against, and, as (X long as), before, beside, by (reason of), for all, from (among, between), in, like, more than, of, (un-) to, with (-al).
[21] But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
Why?
Because the desolator himself will be present and doing his dastardly, wonderfully deceptive works and shall desolate the sanctuary and the host and cause the daily sacrifice to be taken away.
Let's jump ahead to Daniel 12:1 and document the magnitude of the event once again.
Daniel 12:1
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
If you are one of His beloved, then your name is already written in the book of life and you have nothing to worry about.
(Yes, God keeps books, Rev 20:12)
You KNOW that the king of Babylon, Satan, comes first, before Jesus Christ returns, and claims to be Him, the Messiah.
What a time to live!
It is an amazing thing to see our Father's Word come to pass exactly as it is written for it gives us great hope and peace of mind and indeed strengthens our faith (Not to mention it gives me Goosebumps!).
Would be to God that our brothers and sisters could come to know and understand what is happening and what is about to befall our people in the final hour when we "see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place"!
Therefore, let us be about the King's business and continue our labor of love for our families and our nation and remember to put that gospel armor on and keep it on and "Be Strong, yea, Be Strong!"
We have a great spiritual battle yet ahead of us, but let us always remember that He will strengthen us... for we have the victory in Him!
Jesus said, "the book of Daniel was where one could go read and gain understanding"
Jesus Christ told us in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 when He sat upon the Mount of Olives and gave His disciples the seven seals concerning the knowledge and the events that would transpire during the final generation of the fig tree, that the book of Daniel was where one could go read and gain understanding concerning the abomination of desolation, that abominable desolator (antichrist) who would come stand in the holy place claiming to be God.To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits;
to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy
Spirit, you accomplish both.
