My Hi-lite: John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
The word "condemnation" is better translated "judgment" and is in fact the very same word as "judgment" in verse 22. So what Christ is saying is since He does all the judging, if you hear His word, and believe on Him then He won't be judging you, because He'll grant you eternal life, the granting of which is TOTALLY UP TO HIM.John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
