My
Hi-lite: The Mysteries of the Kingdom: the
Period between the King's two advents, continued
The
Householder
Matthew
13:52 Then said he unto them, Therefore
every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto
a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure
things new and old
Are you "instructed" in the Parable of the Sower which explains what "The Kingdom of Heaven is like unto..."? If so then you are like unto "an householder" which means you are to bring forth out of your treasure, things (good things) new and old, a wealth of the knowledge and precious pearls of wisdom you have found in both the Old Testament and the New Testament!Matthew 13:52
Then said He unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
And once you have absorbed His Word and fully understand the Parable of the Sower, then you are off and running... the race set before you that is (Heb. 12:1)!Matthew 12:35
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Let us learn from the example set forth by Christ when He had finished these parables.
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits;
to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy
Spirit, you accomplish both.
