Pamphlet #4247
My Note: There are different stages, or seasons, and a time and place for every matter pertaining to a person's life in the flesh, i.e. under heaven. In fact, there are 28 seasons and they are listed in the following verses. Ref. Scripture Eccles. 3:1-8 Eccles. 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
We need to know that God is in complete control of the times and seasons and though He changes them, He gives the wisdom and knowledge to those with eyes to see and ears to hear as to how to cope and deal with each and every one of them.
Daniel 2:21 And He changeth the times and the seasons: He removeth kings, and setteth up kings: He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
Eccles. 3:2 A time to be born,
and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is
planted;
[3] A time to kill, and a time
to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
[4] A time to weep, and a time
to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
All these seasons of our lives occur naturally. We experience tragedy and then joy. We go to funerals and then weddings.
Eccles. 3:5 A time to cast away
stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a
time to refrain from embracing;
[6] A time to get, and a time
to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
[7] A time to rend, and a time
to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
[8] A time to love, and a time
to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
Luke 6:21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
Matthew 5:45
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh
his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just
and on the unjust.
Always remember that it is God who determines the seasons and the appointed times. We must pretty much learn to live with them and not take either the good or the bad too seriously because both will change beyond our control in this life.
I've
sure had my share of ups and downs. We must just grin and bear those downs
and pray for the next up to come sooner rather then later!
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits;
to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy
Spirit, you accomplish both.
is.
