Pamphlet #4148
My Note: Unto which promise our twelve tribes, Ref. Scripture Acts 26:6-7
Paul is accused, by the Jews, for preaching about the promises made by God to the 12 tribes of Israelites.
Scripture: Acts 26:6
And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto
our fathers
26:7 Unto
which promise our twelve tribes, instantly
serving God day and night, hope to come.
For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I
am accused of the Jews.
But,
some of us believe Paul, himself, was a Jew?
Why
then does he he refer to Jews as a separate people from the Israelites?
Paul
was of the tribe of Benjamin!
Many
of the Jews weren't even Israelites of the tribe of Judah!
They
were only called Jews because they were living in or around Jerusalem!
Pamphlet #1062 is one you really ought to read!
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits;
to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy
Spirit, you accomplish both.
