Gentile nations = different languages/Noah's family = one language

Scripture:  Genesis 10:1  ¶Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
2  The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3  And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4  And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5  By these were the isles (borders) of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

Where did they (the Gentiles) come from?
This is after the flood! Noah's flood.

But, they didn't live in the flooded middle east as did Noah and the giants God was eliminating.

Genesis 11:1  ¶And the whole earth (land) was of one language, and of one speech.
2  And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
3  And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
4  And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

This is also after the flood?
Yes, but these people were of Noah's family
