My Note: caught up together with them in the clouds, Ref. Scripture 1 Thess. 4:17
What exactly does "caught up together with them in the clouds" mean?
Not what you think it means!
And that's not a mass of vapor floating through the sky!
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:17
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught
up together with them in the clouds, to meet
the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
It
probably means the same thing it means in Hebrews 12:1!
And
that's a cloudlike mass of something, a cloud of witnesses.
Hebrews 12:1 ¶Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Let's look at some more of 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Check out the meaning on air as translated from Greek. It means " to breath unconsciously, i.e. respire; to blow" To meet the Lord in our breath of life bodies. The same breath of life that God breathed into Adam in Genesis 2:7 which made him a living soul. That would be Adam before he sinned! and we who are part of the first resurrection at the Lord's return when we are again made eternal living souls, same as Christ; thus, we meet him there!
