Pamphlet 1815 Malachi kc 4-5

He is wearied and He is disgusted and He soon will put an end to it!

"Have we not all one father?
hath not one God created us?
why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother,
by profaning the covenant of our fathers?"

The God who created Adam is the same One who created Abraham
to whom He gave the promise of the covenant that His seed would be blessed (unconditionally)
and would become as numerous as the stars of heaven!

God's Word is true and sure and He did bring forth that godly seed and His children Israel just as He said He would.

Therefore, this nation has only one Father, only ONE GOD, and it is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!

The message is: TAKE HEED TO YOUR SPIRIT!

Don't you deal treacherously with His people, the wife of His youth, Israel.

And do not let some preacher with iniquity on his or her lips
cause you to leave your husband and break His covenant
and follow after another god,
even the false-christ, Satan,
the false bridegroom who shall come and take to wife most Christians!

Mal. 2:15 And did not He make one? Yet had He the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
[16]For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that He hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
God hates divorce even as He hates the unrighteousness and unfaithfulness one does covertly.

Remember,
He himself divorced His first wife who went whoring after other gods! (See Jer. 3:8)

So the message is:
Take heed to your spirit, my friend, that you deal not treacherously,
that you do not become unfaithful!

Why?

Have we not already read?

Because if you do take to wife the daughter of a strange god, He will cut you off!

You can count on it!

[17] Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
You don't think the LORD is growing weary of all this "Lord, Lord", "Praise the Lord", prancing and dancing?

His children of the covenant are being "dealt with treacherously"!

Many, even most, are being "skandalized" (offended) by a bunch of Biblically unknowledgeable,
self serving hirelings, who claim to represent Jesus Christ as His messengers!

Don't you DARE call what they do "good" in the sight of the LORD.

The first warning He gave us concerning these last days was
that MANY would come in His name and deceive MANY (Mat. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21)!

What they do with their traditions of men is evil, iniquitous,
and it is NOT good in the sight of the LORD and He does not delight in them.

They are unfit and they are unacceptable to Him!

He is wearied and He is disgusted and He soon will put an end to it!

Yes, the God of Judgment is soon coming to this earth
and that judgment will begin in the pulpits of this land!

Christ did say that the "skandal" of Christianity, call it churchianity,
would come as a result of the many false prophets,
but "Woe unto him that has offended (skandalized) and causes His children to stumble and fall!"

Luke 17:1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
The final question in Mal. 2:17 is: "Where is the God of judgment?"

Does He delay His coming (2 Pet. 3:4)?

God forbid!

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness;
but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9)."

In other words, He allows plenty of time for His people to "Take Heed"
and turn to Him and remain faithful.

The great Book of Malachi is His final message to the "messengers"
and to "His people", the final burden (warning message)
just before the second advent!

It parallels the final message from Christ in Revelation chapters 2 & 3
to the messengers of the 7 churches and to His people!

"Where is the God of Judgment?"

Make no mistake about it... He's coming!

We will find out about it in our next study.

.To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
