If you haven't "taken heed" you are on real shaky ground my friend!
Zephaniah means "Hidden
of Yah"
and it will be those
hidden ones of YHVH
who are filled with His
Spirit who shall give the proclamation of Mat. 24:14 and Mark 13:10
when they are brought
before rulers and kings for His sake:
Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.[10]And the gospel must first be published [proclaimed] among all nations.
Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
The fact is, the great
prophet Zephaniah declared God's judgment,
His "woe", upon those
strongholds of the "migratory ones"
literally thousands of
years ago.
And
although there were historical fulfillments of the prophecies,
they
were given to serve as types and ensamples
so
that we "upon whom the ends of the world are come" could visually see,
i.e.
get a picture in our mind's eye, of how things would be in these last days.
Paul explained it to us very clearly.
1 Cor. 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.[12] Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits;
to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy
Spirit, you accomplish both.
