Soooo... you had better check out real good what is in the glass "handed to you"
when your preacher or minister gives you something to "drink"!

Habakkuk 2:18 What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
A "graven image" is anything that is "etched in your mind"
that diverts your time and attention away from the Word of God.

It could be that you are just too busy with your house
or your hobby or pursuing your career to "devote" your time to studying His Word.

Of course you might go to church on Sunday
and listen to someone teach traditions.

The only problem is that idols and false gods cannot help you,
nor save you from God's wrath.

Therefore, what good shall your religion do you
and what shall it profit you by listening to preachers
if you do not know whether they are "teaching lies" (traditions of men)
or the truth from His Word?

[19] Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
Jesus Christ, the Word of God, is the ONLY life giver!

There is no "breath of life", no "spirit" ("ruach" in Hebrew),
in anything or anyone else.

So if you want to be as "dumb as a rock",
then just put your trust and security in materialism or better yet, the words of men,
i.e. the words of so-called Christian ministers and preachers and their traditions!

"Take heed that no man deceive you",
i.e. beware of false prophets (false teachers),
was the very first thing Jesus Christ said to His disciples in Mat. 24 and Mark 13
when they asked Him what to watch for just before His second advent!

Soooo... you had better check out real good what is in the glass "handed to you"

[20] But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
Well, now you know where He is, right?
So seek Him daily through His Word and come out of confusion,
come out of Babylon,
else you will be part of the new "Silent Majority",
silenced when He pours out His Wrath upon the world of the ungodly.

Yes, how truly Great and Marvelous are the works of God in these last days!

In fact, did you know that is exactly what the overcomers of "the beast"
in this final generation will be singing at the victory celebration of the Lamb?

Rev. 15:3
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
These words are taken from the "Song of Moses"
which is the 32nd chapter of the Book of Deuteronomy.

Deut. 32:3-4 "Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. [4] He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
