Pamphlet 1659 Nahum kc 1-3
We are going to learn about that
"day of vengeance" in this book of Nahum (comfort),
which you might say is the book of "Comfort for all that
mourn",
who do wait and trust and rely on the power of God and
His "bow"
to protect them while He avenges the injustices of His
enemies!
We will also learn (vs. 7)
that our Father knows exactly who "they" are who trust
in Him.
Are you one of them?
Nahum 1:7 "The LORD is good, a strong
hold in the day of trouble;
and He knoweth them that
trust in Him."
The Book of Nahum, therefore, is about the Second Tribulation,
not the Great Tribulation of Satan when he comes to earth
as the spurious messiah brought about by the Assyrian
who comes upon the land to take captive the souls of
men.
No, the day of vengeance of our God
and the day He brings the nations to valley of Jehoshaphat
(Yahveh-judged) to judge them is at the 7th Trump.
That "day of vengeance" will give comfort to ALL them
that mourn,
i.e. ALL who lament over the injustice
and corruption in this world.
And the word "ALL" means all those saints who are both in heaven and on earth.
