Micah chapter 2
If you took a survey of all the Christians in America today, even churchgoing Christians, how many of them do you think could tell you what the Book of Micah is all about? One in one hundred? One in one thousand? Unfortunately I'm afraid you would find even the latter number to be overly optimistic which is really sad when you stop and think about the fact that this great book is part of the very Word of God.

Nevertheless, even if this is first time you have studied this marvelous Book of Micah (if it is then congratulations) by now you should have a good understanding from the first chapter what the root cause is, of all the problems and pestilences facing America today, as well as those facing her sister nations of the free world such as Great Britain, Canada, etc., i.e. the Christian nations who make up the 10 tribes of the House of Israel represented symbolically by her capital Samaria.

In that first chapter we not only learned about the adulterous "sin of Samaria", the primary cause of our problems and great tribulation to come just as it was for our forefathers, but we also learned that the "wound" from that sin is incurable and HIStory is about to repeat itself. Why? Because there is NO ONE who can help except Almighty God whom we as nation have forsaken and rejected and replaced the truth and knowledge of His Word with the golden calves of man's religion. In other words, our people would rather go to church or even stay home, and listen to smooth talking preachers spoon feed them sugar sweet words rather than take the time to actually study what their Father personally wrote to them in His Word. Yes, it is truly a sad, sad state of affairs, a woeful lamentation to lament indeed!

Have you ever heard the proverbial saying, "A fish smells from the head down"? Well, you can apply that as an adage to companies, to churches, and to nations, for it is true that the captains, i.e. those who are in the positions of power and authority, do steer the course of their ships.

With that thought in mind we now begin our study of chapter two which begins with a "Woe" to those who are in power and who devise and practice "iniquity", which is "aven" in Hebrew and means injustice and unrighteousness as well as emptiness. By the way, when one is on the receiving end of a "Woe" from God, he or she is in serious trouble.

Micah 2:1
Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand.
God's way is for those who have power in their hand to use it for "good" to benefit the people, not for self gain and as a means to oppress them by abusing their power.
Proverbs 3:27
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
So God says "WOE" to those who lie awake at night and devise iniquity and then implement their deceitfulness upon God's people because they have the power to do so! Students of the Book of Micah do not have to ask the question, "Just where did these evil devisers of iniquity get their power to practice their deceitfulness?" (other than the fact that God allows them to possess it along with His permission for them to breath the air He made - see Col. 1:16-17). That is because the "wise" in this final generation understand the "sin of Samaria" which is where our people practice religion (and even call it Christianity), but do not study nor follow God's Word whereby they hold their "fish heads", i.e. their teachers, preachers and presidents, accountable to uphold truth and justice!

People today are into "feel-good" everything like "feel good" education with emphasis on "self esteem" instead of academics, "feel good" religion where preachers "sooth them" (by lying to them) and tell them everything is OK with their soul and then lie some more by telling them they can receive blessings or a miracle this very day simply by "planting a large seed of faith" (which is speaking in tongues, as in tongue-in-cheek, for "write a big check"). Then they listen to "feel good" politicians who bring forth social(ist) entitlement programs which they also call "good works" but which in reality are "iniquitous works" for they are done at the financial expense of the nation's producers and worse yet at the spiritual expense of the recipients.

You see, it has come to pass in this generation that the devisers of iniquity, led by the kenites, have taken over the power of the Four Hidden Dynasties which influence and control the lives of people. Those dynasties are the four "horns" (horns symbolize power) of Zech. 1, which are the same as the Four Horses (horses also symbolize power) of Rev. 6, and which are also called "seals" because Christians must know about them and fully understand (have sealed in their minds) how they are used to place people in bondage and captivity and bring forth the beast of Rev. 13:1, i.e. the one world political system commonly known as the New World Order.

Those four powers or dynasties, which we refer to as "hidden" dynasties because most Christians cannot "see" how they are so craftily and deceitfully used by Satan and his children, are the fours powers of"Religion, Politics, Economics and Education". They are the White, Red, Black, and Pale horses respectively of Rev. 6.

Note: Lawyers and detectives know well the saying "Follow the Money Trail" if you want to get to the bottom of a matter. To that end it seems for some people it is easier for them to first "see" the economic captivity that the devisers of iniquity have enslaved and afflicted our people with through the "practice" of unholy and oppressive usury, inflation and taxation, all made possible by a "Debt-System" form of economics controlled through "central banking". But it is getting harder to find.

Let us now see what is on the minds of the "devisers of iniquity":

Micah 2:2
And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
Oh, they covet (desire) what is not rightfully theirs! Now there's a surprise! Of course that in itself is bad enough but they also think nothing of using "violence", which means to "pluck off" as in "strip or rob", in order to take over God's vineyard and rob His children of their inheritance. Would that our people could only "see" that like a bunch of locusts the kenites aided by their willing accomplices have already chewed and gnawed away and all but consumed both the rich heritage of God's children and the fruit from the vineyard!

And speaking of robbery, the sad reality is that most of God's children today do not even know from whom they have descended, i.e. that they are of the true House of Israel, the natural seedline of Jacob. Why? Because the truth of their heritage has been "stripped away" and so in their ignorance of both history and God's Word they believe that they are gentiles*.

Furthermore, they believe the LIE that those who "claim to be of Judah", but who are NOT (Rev. 2:9, 3:9), i.e. those who call themselves "Jews" and "God's chosen people", are true Israel! They are not only NOT of the house of Israel whose capital was Samaria, but many are not even of the house of Judah either, for Judah today is composed of two separate baskets (Jer. 24), one of good figs (Judahites, sons of Judah) and one of bad figs (Kenites, sons of Cain).

*Note: There is nothing wrong with being a gentile. It is just that those who are of the House of Israel have certain duties to perform and obligations to fulfill and the problem is that because of the "sin of Samaria" they are unaware and therefore ignorant of their responsibilities to God and to their brothers and sisters in this final generation.

[3] Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
"Thus saith the LORD" lets us know "this is the way it is going to be", so we had better take heed if we want to know what is going to happen. In this case our Father tells us that there is going to be a "time of evil (calamity)", which we know is that hour of temptation when the Assyrian (Satan as the spurious messiah) comes and takes God's people captive (spiritually). It happened physically before, and it shall happen again, this time, spiritually!

"That day" is soon upon us! 

Then...

[4] In that day shall one take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, and say, We be utterly spoiled: he hath changed the portion of my people: how hath he removed it from me! turning away he hath divided our fields.

[5] Therefore thou shalt have none that shall cast a cord by lot in the congregation of the LORD.

To take up a parable "against" you is a figure of speech called "Chleuasmos" which is an expression of feeling by mocking or jeering. And to "lament with a doleful lamentation" is "venahah nehiy nihyah" in Hebrew which is to say "wail a wailing of woe". It is both a figure of speech called a "Polyptoton", where the same part of speech is repeated in different inflections, and a "Paronomasia" which we learned about earlier. We point this out only because it is important to know that God's Word is replete with figures of speech which clarify and emphasize that which the Holy Spirit would have us see and understand.

Also, the word "changed" in Hebrew is "mur" which means changed for the worse, not "halaph", which is changed for the better. In other words, we shall not only lose sight of our heritage but the very land of the once free shall be stripped by those who devise wickedness and we shall have none to execute righteous distribution according to the laws of God. (see note in Companion Bible on page 1254 regarding the dividing of the land by lot.)

"We are stripped of everything; my people's portion is measured out and shared, no one will give it back to them, our fields are awarded to our despoiler." J.B.
The problem is our people do not want to hear any of this "negative talk"! They do not want to hear any "Thus saith the LORD" the day of calamity is coming, and so their ministers and pastors are trained in man's seminaries to avoid preaching and teaching anything that is convicting or offensive to the members of their congregations, even though it might save God's children from shame, lest they not return with their tithes.
Micah 2:6
Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.
Again, the people do not want to hear the words of the true prophets who blow the saving trumpets of truth declaring the impending judgment of He who "shall come forth out of His place, and come down and tread upon the high places of the land" (Micah 1:3). To that end, the false prophets who claim to represent Christ (the Word of God) have FAILED to build up an hedge of protection around our people (Ezk. 13). That is really sad and too bad and results in an injustice inflicted upon our people because if the pastors in our land taught the prophets chapter by chapter and line by line and instructed our people to "take heed" to "Thus saith the LORD God", they could avoid the SHAME they will face when the true Messiah returns. But alas, our rebellious people just do not want to hear the righteous law of the LORD, which is why they do not know it! They LIKE smooth talking preachers who make them "feel good". Here is how Isaiah says it:

Isaiah 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:

[10] Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

So because they do not want to hear the truth, that they might be saved, but would rather listen to "spin", God will send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie! That big lie they shall believe is that the son of perdition, Satan, as the false-christ, who appears BEFORE we gather back to Christ, is really the true Jesus Christ.

Don't you be deceived. Study God's Word.

Here is what Paul wrote:
2 Thes. 2:3
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
"That day" is the day of our gathering back to Jesus Christ (referring back to vs. 1). "That day" shall NOT COME until the false messiah sits in the temple claiming to be God and deceives the majority of Christianity with his "miracles" and "lying wonders" into believing his lie that he is who he says he is. i.e. Jesus Christ. It is called the "great apostasy" or
 the great falling away!
2 Thes. 2:8
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Why will they be deceived? Because they do not love the truth, the Word of God! If they did they would know it and believe it and then they would know Him. So God is going to give them what they want, beginning with allowing the many false prophets who come in the name of Christ to talk "smoothly" to them and tell them everything is OK because they are going to "fly away" when the day of calamity befalls our people. Sorry, the Word of God says they are not going anywhere.
They are going to stay right here and believe a big fat lie!
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The "unrighteousness" is the "sin of Samaria"! The false prophets today are preaching the same thing "out of their own hearts" that their counterparts preached back then before the type and forerunner of the great tribulation to come upon this generation occurred, and that is that we shall NOT fall to the Assyrian, when "Thus saith the LORD" says we shall! Do not be deceived by smooth talking preachers. The 6th Trump, the coming of Satan, the false-christ, shall sound before the 7th Trump, the coming of our Lord and Savior. Take heed and study His Word for the root cause of the problems facing America today were foretold of long, long ago, in the law (Torah) that they do not want to hear.
Deut. 28:45
Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:
Lest one gets the impression that our Father is "mean spirited" it would serve him or her well to read all of Deut. 28 beginning with verse one and understand all of the wonderful blessings He has in store and so desires to bestow on His children. You see, the choice of either receiving blessings or cursings is set before each and every individual even as they collectively make up the nation, the house of Jacob (Deut. 30:19).

Are you one of the wise in these last days who know where the house of Jacob (true Israel) is today?

Micah 2:7
O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
The spirit of the LORD, the truth of the Word of God, is NOT grievous except to those who devise iniquity. God's words are pleasant and comforting to those who "have the love of the truth" and walk uprightly, i.e. do what is right according to His commands and not man's traditions.

Next we will see just how much influence the "devisers of iniquity" have had upon His children in this late hour!

The word "Micah" means "Who is like Yahveh?" Deut. 32:4 from the "Song of Moses" Deut. 32 that the overcomers will be singing at the victory celebration as noted in Rev. 15 delcares:

He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.

That means our Father is completely just and fair to everyone and He is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34). So the Word of God is not grievous as the "left" in this nation claim, except of course to those who devise iniquity contrary to His will. You see, our Father loves His children very much and desires that they all have life, liberty and can pursue happiness free from the oppression brought about by the "devisers of iniquity" whom we have allowed to have the "power in their hand" to "practice" their wickedness (liberalism).

And it has now come to pass of late that those "devisers of iniquity" have taken the full reigns of power of the Four Hidden Dynasties of Politics, Religion, Economics, and Education, in their hands and they "ride like the wind" those Four Horses of the Apocalypse and they run roughshod, to and fro, over the hills and vales, wherein dwells children of the House of Jacob, i.e. the Christian nations, which are located in this 21st. century, in western Europe, the isles of Britain and the Americas!

The question is: How oppressive have things become in these nations?

Micah 2:8
Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war.
It has come to the point in this "late hour" that the oppression of the devisors of iniquity has "risen up" like that of an enemy against God's people and they strip them bare like a victor freely taking the spoils of war (Indeed it has become a beast!) We will follow the simple "money trail" examples in the Hidden Dynasty of the Economy to illustrate the onslaught, however, the "spiritual oppression" against that which is "Right" and that which is "Godly", i.e. the spiritual warfare being waged against our people, is much more severe, evenly deadly to the souls of God's children!

t is a very sad situation, even a lamentation as Micah declares, because there is no one who can help lest we return unto Him who has all power to heal and save! But alas, we are a stubborn and rebellious generation! Our forefathers did not listen to the words of the prophets (but rather to their soothsaying priests) and neither do the children of this final generation.

Students of American history may recall that this nation started out with a concept of government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Now in these last days it has become we against them, i.e. we the people against big intrusive government intruding more and more into the personal lives of our people and stripping away more and more of our rights and freedoms. 

The ironic part is we are already enslaved in a captivity that rivals every whit the slavery of our forefathers in Egypt. And our taskmasters who demand their daily allotment of gold "bricks" in the form of usury and taxes will crack their whips hard against you and your family if you fail to "make enough bricks" to pay them their due! You see, there is no "Jubilee year" as commanded by our Father whereby the Liberty Bell is rung and the words from His Law of Liberty in Leviticus 25:10 ring throughout the land (the words in bold underlined italics (in the verse below) are inscribed on our Liberty Bell):

Leviticus 25:10
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
No, the Word of God is not grievous at all! But by not following His economic laws we have become enslaved and the devisers of iniquity now have the power to rip the shirts right off the backs of our people (Micah 2:8).

No wonder our Liberty Bell cracked when the first Jubilee wasn't declared. And, a few years ago, it was "hammered", as in "dinged", once again just as a reminder to those who know wisdom.

Let's return to Micah 2:

Micah 2:9
The women of my people have ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their children have ye taken away my glory for ever.
In the 20th century, here in America, the women were cast out of the home and forced to "make bricks" to make ends meet. (Did you know that we must work 5 1/2 months, almost half of all our labor, just to pay the taxes. No wonder momma has to get a job to help out.) And what effect has this had on our precious children? It has been spiritually devastating, to say the least.
However, there is a deeper meaning in this verse and it has once again to do with the heritage of our people. The "glory of God" and the knowledge of who and where His children of the House of Israel abide has been "consumed" away from the sons and daughters of this generation. Most Americans cannot trace their ancestry past great grandpa's branch. Why not return to your Father and to His Word and discover the truth of the rich heritage of our people. Understand where the so-called "lost" 10 tribes are located today and claim the promises belonging to the House of Jacob.

Next, we are admonished to take action, to be a doer of His Word or be consumed by the spiritual filth which now surrounds us.

[10] Arise ye, and depart; for this is not your rest: because it is polluted, it shall destroy you, even with a sore destruction.
This is your Father's instructions which are to NOT participate in the spiritual perversion overtaking and polluting our land unless you want to be squished like a grape in the winepress. "Arise ye" as used here means to "take up a lamentation" and depart (spiritually). In other words, you had better understand this sad state of affairs at this late hour and "take heed" before it is too late. This great land of ours is polluted with corruption and idolatry of the worse kind and if you continue in the "sin of Samaria" you shall be spiritually slain by the coming Assyrian, i.e. Satan.

The point is, our "rest" and our salvation is in Jesus Christ, so quit listening to smooth talking preachers who spew forth fairy tales about "apples and snakes" and then sweet talk you into believing the party line "theory" that you are 'safe and sound' and have nothing to worry about because you are going to be "taken up into the clouds in some pre-trib rapture" before the events of Revelation happen. You are supposed to grow-up spiritually and keep God's Word which are His commands and statutes:

Leviticus 18:26
Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
[27] (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
The "land" is defiled (polluted) means the "people" of the land are polluted and spiritually perverse even after the manner of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Note: We are even promoting Sodomy in our public schools in America today! Woe! unto us!
[28] That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.

[29] For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

So "do not be partakers of her abominable sins" and unless you want stomped on real good you better stop ignoring God's Word and listening to "sputterers" (vs. 11) while wallowing in the "sin of Samaria"! Your Father wants you to come out of spiritual confusion (Babylon) and quit believing men without checking out what they say in His Word! Then have the courage to listen to His voice, i.e. to His Word, instead of traditions!

Arise ye and come out of darkness into the marvelous light of His truth! Jesus Christ is that Light and He alone is our Rest!
Micah 2:11
If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
The word "prophesy" in this particular verse actually means "to sputter" like one who is a "dropper of words"! Once again, our people simply do not want to listen to God's Word and hear the truth about how they had better get their act together and prepare to face the soon coming Assyrian, i.e. Satan! No, they ignore His true prophets (i.e. Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Micah, Joel, Ezekiel, David, Amos, etc.), and instead listen to any Tom, Dick or Harry who comes along saying "Jesus is Lord", "Praise the Lord", and gives them a "buzz" and a "warm fuzzy feeling" with the tasty sputtering wine of fornication (idolatry). Thus they remain Biblically illiterate in their drunken stupor and they stagger in confusion. Our Father declares in 2 Thes. 2 that if they want to believe lies and deception then He will allow them preachers who give them what they want... and they DO! Here is how God's prophet Isaiah explains the spiritual drunkenness of our people:
Isaiah 29:9
Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
They are spiritually drunk with religion, with churchianity, with the idolatrous traditions of men, i.e. the sin of Samaria!
[10] For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.
The preachers of our land cannot understand the visions of the true prophets because of their Biblical and historical ignorance and the fact that their traditions that they refuse to let go of have blinded them to the truth. For example, most ministers not only do not know nor teach the difference between an Hebrew, an Israelite, and a Jew, they cannot show you where the United States of America, the greatest superpower of all time and leader of the free world, is spoken of in prophecy. Go figure!
[11] And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:
The "learned" men with doctorate degrees, etc., tell you that the Word of God is full of "mystery" and "hard sayings" because they themselves cannot understand its simplicity. The layman on the other hand believes you need to go to a Bible college or a theological seminary in order to understand the Bible, though such is not the case at all.
[12] And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.
So you might want to say that our people are caught between a "rock" and a hard place but the fact is they simply do not hunger and thirst for His Word. He has PROMISED that if you will draw near unto Him then He will draw near to you (through His Word)(James 4:8)! But our people draw near to Him with their mouths, i.e. they sing praises and worship Him in church and say "Amen" on cue, but all they know about our Father is what they have heard from their preachers who teach the traditions of men and NOT the words of the prophets chapter by chapter and line by line.
[13] Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
So their preachers (not all but far too many) are lying to them (sputter, sputter) and giving them false hope and security apart from knowing Him, i.e. knowing His Word. And that is just not so, my friend! The Word of God says the Assyrian Satan, is coming to take them away!
Micah 2:12
I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.
Note: Some scholars claim that verses 12 & 13 refer to the restoration of God's people Israel. However, as Dr. Bullinger points out in the Companion Bible the structure and the language make it clear that they speak of judgment and not mercy. The good news of the restoration and establishment of the kingdom begins in chapter four.

"Bozrah" in  Hebrew means enclosure, or sheepfold, which reads "in tribulation" in the Septuagint . In other words, God is going to gather His sheepfold and "they shall make a great noise" which means they will "be in commotion or turmoil" (see note in Companion Bible). Why? You should remember from Micah 1:2-4? God is going to do some treading and He will once again use the Assyrian, Satan, the king of Babylon, as a rod of correction.

[13] The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.
The "breaker" who comes up before them is the Assyrian (Satan, the king of Babylon) who shall lead them into captivity. In other words, God is going to gather His people together and the "breaker", the Assyrian, is going to come into His sheepfold and take them all away and pass before them, i.e. lead them as their king. You see, the breaker ("the vile person", Satan) shall claim to be the King of kings as well as the Lord of lords and the whole world, including the majority of Christianity, will believe he really is.

The phrase "The LORD on the head of them" means the LORD is going to "tread on them", i.e. this is part of God's judgment and the "stomping" has begun!

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both
