At
harvest time the "sickle" will be thrust into
that
nation which bore the "sickle" on its flag for so many years.
It
is written in both Joel chapter two and Acts chapter two
that
in the "last days" the sons and daughters who are "servants and handmaidens"
of God
shall
"see visions",
which
means they will "see" as in "understand" the visions of the prophets
and
they will also "Take Heed" and actually see the visions come to pass (Mark
13:29).
And
you "see", we have been studying one of those "visions"
in
this incredible Book of Obadiah whose name means "servant of Yahveh"
and
we now "understand" that in this short book
our
Father has expounded upon the "rumours of wars"
prophesied
by Jesus Christ in Mat. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21
that
would follow world wars and precede globalization,
which
is the rising of all nations together in the marketplace.
God
showed Obadiah in his vision the "throe"
which
resulted from the "struggle" for world supremacy
as
two superpowers "duked it out" during the period of time we called the
"Cold War",
that
epic era during which our people were "alarmed" and "conditioned"
to
almost daily "reports" of a constant threat of nuclear holocaust from the
land of Edom,
that
"red" nation which bore the "hammer" and the "sickle" upon its standard.
Obadiah
1:1 The visionof Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom;
We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the
heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.
We
also learned in Obadiah that Esau would form a supposedly strong-as-iron
confederacy,
which
we now know was called the USSR,
but
that pact (the Warsaw Pact) would be comprised of unstable
and
unloyal members who would eventually desert him en masse
at
their first opportunity and leave him with "egg on his face", as we say,
i.e.
looking stupid.
Obadiah
also declared that God would bring Esau DOWN
from
his lofty self-exalted position
where
he pretended to be equal in power and strength with the eagle,
which
is a symbol of the USA.
Yet
we know from Ezek. 38 & 39
that
even after his fall he shall yet join another and final confederacy,
the
New World Order,
and
eventually lead an army from the north against God's people.
However,
it is written that it shall be the LAST TIME he ever wears "red"
for
he shall be smitten by the hand of God
and
wear his own blood upon his garments.
Isaiah
speaks of Esau's day of final judgment
when
the King of kings pours out His cup of wrath
and
breaths His "fire" upon both man and beast.
Isaiah
63:1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah?
this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his
strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
Who
does Esau think he is anyway?
His
"high places" and "his strength" shall be consumed forevermore.
Amos
also speaks of Bozrah being devoured.
"Red"
shall NO LONGER color nations in the kingdom of God.
Amos
1:11 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and
for four,
I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue
his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did
tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:
[12]
But
I will send a fireupon Teman, which
shall devour the
palaces of Bozrah.
"Bozrah"
comes from the root word "batsar" which means "de-fenced",
as
inaccessible by height of fortification (like Petra).
It
also means "grape gatherer".
And
when the "sickle" is thrust in at harvest time
into
that nation which bore the "sickle" on its flag for so many years,
there
shall be an enormous gushing forth of blood as the great winepress is filled
(Rev. 14).

Wherefore
art thou redin thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth
in the winefat?
"White
apparel", as is white linen, is symbolic of righteous.
Rev.
19:8 "And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen,
clean
and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints."
"Red
apparel" is symbolic of socialism and communism and therefore unrighteousness.

have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with
me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and
their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my
raiment.

For
the day of vengeance is in mine heart,and the year of my redeemed
is come.
