Blow ye the trumpet! Sound the alarm! Warn our people!

It is the dawn of a New Millennium and the prophecies contained in the Word of God
are rapidly coming to pass exactly as they are written,
exactly as God said they would in both the Old and the New Testaments.

You see, there eventually comes a time when the last grains of sand
finally run out of the hour glass signaling that "Time's Up"!

We are now down to those last few grains of sand, or as Jesus Christ said in Luke 21:31 "So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand."

We now see those things He spoke of coming to pass.

We have also been studying the great Book of Hosea,
the book written concerning the salvation of the 10 tribes of the house of Israel,
which details the adulterous (idolatrous) transgressions of God's children
and their ensuing chastisement that they were duly warned would befall them
should they choose to break His covenant.

In other words, Israel's captivity by the Assyrian
and their subsequent scattering among the nations was written and pre-determined to befall them
long before they actually took place.

AND,

they were given sufficient notice and warned by the true prophets of God
that unless they repented and turned from their whoredoms and returned to their true Husband,
the LORD God who brought them out of the bondage of Egypt with a mighty hand,
they would face the swift onslaught of the Assyrian and be taken away captive.

However, as it is written, they preferred listening to the soothsaying priests
who told them not to worry and that God would protect them from the Assyrian.

I guess they were both in error, weren't they?

They should have listened to the Word of God instead of heeding the words of men, especially preachers!

The rule you should ALWAYS go by is to NEVER let any man,
this man or any other,
convince you that the Word of God says this or that
without any documentation and more importantly,
without you first checking it out in His Word.

And so it came to pass exactly as it was written,
exactly as the prophets of God WARNED them would happen,
that the Assyrian did come swiftly against the house of Israel because of their idolatry
and took them all away (2 Kings 17:4-6).

Let it be known, therefore, to the children of God in these last days,
that the prophecy and the history stand written and they combine to confirm that the Word of God is true!

Why is that important?

Because what happened historically to the House of Israel
was a type of that which WILL befall us in these last days.

Do you remember Paul's words in 1 Cor. 10:11 which we quoted in our previous study? "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come."

Note: Does it make sense to you that the United States of America, the greatest superpower in the history of the world, would be left out of endtime Biblical prophecy? Of course not! If you would like to learn more about where the 10 "lost" tribes of the House of Israel reside today go to Pamphlet #1064 or Pamphlet #1020 under Table of Contents "Wisdom" on the this American Wisdom Series site.

Therefore, as it is written, the Assyrian, one of the names given to Satan (Isa. 14:25 ),
is about to descend swiftly against the present day house of Israel
and take them all away into captivity once again.

Only this time it will be a spiritual captivity!

So the question now is, "Are you are a watchman of God?"

Do you know the duties of a watchman?

Do you know that His watchmen of this final generation
are those sons and daughters spoken of by Joel the prophet
and quoted by Peter on Pentecost Day in Acts 2,
who would understand (See) the visions of the prophets
and teach and warn God's children that the Assyrian, antichrist,
is soon coming BEFORE the return of Jesus Christ (2 Thes. 2)?

If you know that and you are one of His watchmen, then next verse is written to you.

Hosea 8:1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.
Blow ye the trumpet!

Sound the alarm!

Warn our people!

He, the Assyrian, the antichrist, shall come swiftly, as an eagle (or vulture) descends,
against the House of Israel because they have broken His covenant
and played the role of the harlot though their idolatry!

Do you think that Hosea is being told to preach some "new" revelation to the House of Israel,
something they did not or should not already know?

No, it was already written in God's Word, in the "law"!

Deut. 28:49 The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;
Have you ever seen an eagle swoop down and take its prey?

Then you have a "VISION" in your mind of how the "Assyrian" (antichrist, the false messiah)
shall come "Fast and Furious" against our people in these last days!

Plus you have the historical type to serve as an ensample!

So blow ye the trumpet! Sound the alarm, watchman!

Hosea 8:2 Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee.
Oh yes, it is also written in Eccles. 1:9 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be;
and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun."

When the sand finally runs out of the hour glass in the final "hour" of this last generation
and it is too late to heed the warning of the trumpet,
then shall our people shall cry unto God, as they did in the past, "We know thee, Lord!"

Hmmm, this will once again pose a severe credibility problem
for them because obviously they did not believe His Word nor heed His warning!

If this next statement comes as shock to you, then so be it,
but unless you are newly converted Christian,
i.e. you have been a Christian for some time now,
then to SAY that you KNOW the Lord God, the "Living Word of God",
and yet you do not KNOW the "Written Word of God", makes you a liar!"

1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
