Pamphlet 1441 Hos kc 10-1

Unfortunately, very few Christians are aware that "salvation" is what this Book of Hosea is all about.

Are you familiar with God's plan of salvation? Unfortunately, very few Christians are aware that "salvation" is what this Book of Hosea is all about or even that the very name "Hosea" means "salvation", as in "deliverer"! Yet it is this Book of Hosea which tells us in graphic picture format, using such analogies as marriage and adultery, how our Father looks upon and feels about the horrible adulterous (idolatrous) affairs that His children commit.

You see, it is their RELIGION of Churchianity, which has all the glitter and appearance of Christianity, but which teaches the traditions of men and ignores His Word, that is the adulterous debauchery of the House of Israel, yes even of America the Beautiful. Gomer has gone astray and become the bed partner of another "man" and her children of this day belong to another, the Instead-of-Jesus (Satan the antichrist).

However, it is written throughout God's Word that there is a day coming, called the Day of the Lord, when Jesus Christ will put an end to all the whoredom and idolatry in the land, and Gomer will return to her husband. Unfortunately for her, as with most Christians, she returns only after she has learned some hard lessons, after she has "suffered in her affliction" and "acknowledges her offense", her adulterous (idolatrous) ways, and stands poor and wretched and naked before her Lord when He returns from His "place"; therefore missing out on being part of the first resurrection to eternal life. She will have to spend the 1000 year millennium learning the difference between what is Holy and what is profane, hoping to pass the final test and be judged worthy to be part of the second resurrection at the "Great White Throne" of judgment.

Until then, as both Peter and James tell us, the Lord waits patiently for that day lest she returns to Him now:

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

James 5:7
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Hosea also tells us He waits "till" that day of reckoning, which is where we left off in our last study:
Hosea 5:15
I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
Where is the Lord's place? Well, where did He go and return to? He returned to heaven following the crucifixion and now sits at the right hand of the Father and shall remain there until that day, until the sound of the 7th Trump.

The question is, "What are you going to do until then?"

Hosea 6:1
Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
The amazing thing about correction is that children come to respect and to know in their hearts that their parents love them when their parents discipline them in love. Let me translate that as it concerns our people. America the Beautiful, the largest of the 10 tribes of Israel, after learning the hard way that her lovers cannot heal her nor bind up her wounds, will eventually come to know that it was the Lord God who corrected her and disciplined her in His unconditional love for His people.

Unfortunately for most Christians, that realization will not occur until His return at the 7th Trump and they will miss out on the enormous blessings of the First Resurrection, which is the first granting of eternal life. It is written in Rev. 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."

Note: We did not say those Christians will be lost forever; just that they will miss out on the first resurrection to eternal life and will have to spend the Millennium learning the difference between what is Holy and what is profane and then pass the final test of their allegiance to God when Satan, the anti-christ, is again released to temp them at the end of the Millennium. Then, at the "Great White Throne of Judgment", they may still be granted eternal life, i.e. the second resurrection, or will be sentenced to eternal destruction and exist no more just as Satan has already been sentenced.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them {the ancient Israelites} for ensamples, and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
