Did you know that many preachers have been taught in seminaries not to teach those things which are controversial, lest they offend members of their congregations.

Christ said there would be "Many" who would come in His name, as Christian ministers, and deceive Many of our people" (Mat. 24, Mk. 13). How, you ask? By teaching the traditions of men, i.e. playing church and promoting every good work EXCEPT teaching the knowledge of the Word of God!

The PROOF is the fact that we are nation of Biblical illiterates with a huge United Way fund!

Note: It is fitting as we discuss teaching God's Word to remember that we are admonished in 2 Tim. 2:15 to not only study His Word, but in doing so to rightly divide it.


To that end, be advised that the latter portion of Hosea 4:7 is not correct as it appears in the King James Version. The Sopherim confess that they "altered" the primitive text (for details see appendix 33 in the Companion Bible).

Hosea 4:7 should read as follows: Hosea 4:7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: changing My glory into shame.
It should not read as it acvtually appears in the KJV: Hosea 4:7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.


The priests and preachers are a bunch of whores/idolaters who change His glory into shame through their harlotry.
Hosea 4:8
They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.
Many preachers in our land not only consume the "sin offering" of people for their own gain, they "cover up" the sins of the people while they "sheer the sheep". Did you know that preachers are taught in seminaries not to teach those things which are controversial, lest they offend members of their congregations.The fact is, if one teaches the Word of God chapter by chapter and line by line it WILL offend some for it contains reproof and correction and instruction in righteous, which means if you are convicted you will have to make some changes in your life! 2 Tim. 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:".
[9] And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.
If you want to continue listening to false preachers, who actually make up the majority of so-called Christian ministers today (the "Many" Christ warned us about), then be prepared to be punished for your ignorance. Hear ye, hear ye, the Word of the LORD! Our people are not destroyed for the lack of likeable, nice guy preachers. They are destroyed for lack of the knowledge of His Word because the likeable preachers starve them to death.
[10]For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.
There is a GREAT famine in the United States of America this very day, RIGHT NOW! Did you know that? Has your preacher informed you of the "famine" Jesus Christ warned us about in Mat. 24 and Mark 13 that would be one of the major "Signs" just preceding His second coming? That famine is recorded in these Minor Prophets in the Book of Amos.

Here is what that famine is:

Amos 8:11
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Our nation has become a spiritual desert, a Valley of Dry Bones (Ezek. 37), as result of this great famine. And we are suffering from the "pestilences" which always follow famine, even those pestilences described in verse 2 (Hos. 4:2), i.e. the adultery, the lying, the cheating, the stealing, the corrupt justice, etc.
[12] And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
Again, our people are being spiritually starved to death. They wander from "sea to shining sea" trying to find some spiritual food, some meat from God's Word that satisfies the soul, but they cannot find it! You see, the preachers in so many of the churches in this land merely pass around a baby bottle of milk (Heb. 5:12) or toss a few morsels to their congregations, i.e. read only a few verses, and then they get down to their real business at hand and pass the "basket" for themselves! I mean, suppose you were hungry and you went to a big fancy restaurant with stained glass all around, and you sat down expecting to be served a satisfying meal, and all they brought you was a gold platter with one or two croutons on it. Would you then pay them for the price of a fine meal?  Somehow the word "sottish" comes to mind.
[13]In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
Remember those 10 Virgins (Matthew 25:1-13) and how 5 of them did not make it to the marriage of the true Bridegroom? They did not have enough "oil" in their lamps from the Word of God, did they? They should have read and taken heed to Hosea 4:6 that we read earlier: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:".

Now let's look at Hosea 4:10 again.

Hosea 4:10
For they shall eat, and not have enough:  they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.
Many Christians wonder why their prayers are not answered and why they are not blessed. Could it be "because they have left off to take heed to the LORD"? They do not study His Word so how could they take heed to His Word? Should our Father reward their disobedience to Him, even though they have been blinded by the blind (preachers)?

Yes, judgment day is soon coming and our Father is presenting His case right here in this Book of Hosea. So consider yourself briefed on the complaint.

However, if you are one of His faithful virgins and your name is written in the Book of Life as one who is forgiven and exempt, then you are blessed indeed, for you are not named as a defendant in this case.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
