Amos chapter 5

Chapter five in the Book of Amos (burden) is a lamentation, which is a sad song, a sad story, even "a mournful burden" which our Father has taken up against His foolish, unwise, unknowledgeable children of the House of Israel, those lost tribes most of whom do not even have a "clue" that they are descendents of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob and Jacob's sons, the sons of Israel. However, the really sad thing is that they cannot even overcome their own ignorance because they have no desire to ASK and KNOCK and SEEK HIM, else He would open up the scriptures and the truth to their minds in their foreheads and they would become filled and sealed with the Words of Eternal Life! Thus saith the Lord GOD:
Luke 11:9
And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
O House of Israel, you have no idea how much your Father wishes you would hear His Word. So here is some sound advice: You had better "get a clue", and real soon!

Amos 5:1
Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.
O House of Israel, you 10 lost virgins who have become so adulterous (idolatrous), don't you know how unhappy it makes our Father to have to take up this lamentation against you?
[2] The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.
Each individual virgin of the house of Israel is going to have to stand on his/her own when Satan, the king of Babylon, comes claiming he is the true Messiah, Jesus Christ. The sad reality is, which is not only written here in the Book of Amos but also in 2 Thes. where Paul also made it perfectly clear, there shall be a great apostasy, a great FALLING AWAY in the last days, before "that day" comes when we gather back to Christ. So do not let some Bible thumper tell you otherwise:
2 Thes. 2:3
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Here is Amos showing us that only a tithe (firstfruits) shall be left standing in the field of battle. The rest shall fall by the sword!
Amos 5:3
For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.
"That went out" means "that goeth to war"! And the war is that great "spiritual battle" of these end times when the king of Babylon comes against our people and few are left standing (spiritually), for but few shall have put on the full Gospel Armor to be able to withstand the fiery darts and the sword of the Wicked one (Eph. 6:16). How does one acquire the Gospel Armor? By going to church and listening to preachers?!!!! No, by seeking the LORD through His Word!

Thus we have the great message of Amos chapter five written to the virgins of Israel showing them the difference between wisdom and foolishness along with the incriminating evidence of the perversion in our land, pestilences and plagues which do come as a result of spiritual famine and departing from the wisdom of His Word! (See structure on page 1237 of the Companion Bible for complete structure.)

Seek ye Him (vs.4)
Seek NOT Beth-el (vs.5)
Seek the LORD (vs.6)
Seek Him (vs.7)
Let's begin with the promise from the LORD, YHVH, to His children and how it is He says they may receive Eternal Life.
[4] For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
Do you go to church? Have you wandered around from place to place and tried many different churches, seeking for the "true church"? Don't you know that if you are a Christian you ARE the church (look up "church", i.e. "ekklesia")? Christians make up the body, the congregation, the temple of Jesus Christ. However, it is written in this Book of Amos that the famine of the end times is for the hearing of His Word (Amos 8:11) and he is about to confirm that by explaining that the Bethels (houses of God) have become Beth-Avens (houses of emptiness) because the Word of God is NOT taught there line by line, in proper context and structure so that it can easily be understood . But even if you did find a church or group that teaches the Word of God, and there are some, it is still that WORD which is truth, not the church! You see, no church (Bethel) can sanctify you, but ONLY His Word, the Truth! John 17:17" Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." So you do not have to "go anywhere" to Seek the Word of the LORD. Just ask the Holy Spirit for guidance and take the "little book" and eat ye all of it (Ezek. 2:9 - 3:3). Or... you can run around like a foolish virgin, like a chick with her head cut off:
Amos 8:12
And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
Do not seek Bethel! If you truly seek Him, He is in the "volume of the Book" (Heb. 10:7)!
Seek Him there!
Amos 5:5
But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beer-sheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.
Beer-sheba means "well of seven" or even "well of covenant" for it is where Abraham made a covenant with the Philistines not to come against each other. Abraham gave Abimilech seven lambs as a witness to the transaction. Also, "Gilgal shall surely go in to captivity" reads "Gilgal galoh yigleh" in Hebrew which is a Paronomasia, a figure of speech, even a play on words, where similar sounding words are repeated. In English we would say, "The Roller, rolling, shall roll away."

However, this verse is really quite simple because Father is telling us that there is no salvation in any of those places, not in a church, not in setting up altars, and not in making covenants.

You must seek Him!        That is the ONLY way!

You can go to church (Bethel) regularly for years and years and more years and still be slaughtered with the majority in the spiritual warfare. You can set up altars all day and all night, such as at Gilgal, and you can make covenants all the way to Beer-sheba, but unless in these latter days you seek the LORD thy God through His Word, not man's, with all your heart and all your soul, your little old church isn't going to do you a bit of good on that Day! The sad part is that the life giving instructions to Seek Him and obey His Voice, not man's, was given to our people and recorded in His Word long, long ago! Here it is in the Book of Deuteronomy:

Deut. 4:29
But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
Perhaps you are a faithful church goer, so again the question to you is: "Will Bethel, your church, and all the wonderful works done there in the name of Christ, help you during the great tribulation?

How wise a virgin are you? Do you "Seek Him" or do you "Seek Bethel"? Are you a Christ-man or are you a Church-man? You see, it doesn't matter what some preacher may tell you or a movie or book some man produced and left behind may say, you are going to go through the tribulation of Satan, the false-christ, either as a protected witness for Jesus Christ, with your feet firmly planted in the field, or as a "witless" for the spurious messiah with your head somewhere in the clouds! You see, both the wise virgins and the foolish virgins go through the night, the hour of darkness. Haven't you read about them (Mat. 25:1-13)?

However, even though we all, the good, the bad, and the ugly, go through the tribulation of Satan, those who seek the Lord in these latter days and are obedient to His Voice, which is His Word, have nothing to fear. For as it is written in Rev. 9 that only those who have NOT the seal of God in their foreheads shall be harmed (spiritually slaughtered by the king of Babylon, Satan, when he comes to earth as  the false-christ). 

And yet the truth of the matter is, for the benefit of those who desire to escape physical harm in some rapture, that true Christian soldiers do not even fear he who can kill the flesh body. We are all going to shed the flesh and graduate from this animal life earth school sooner or later anyway, are we not? Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."

Let's continue a couple of more verses in the Pentateuch:

[30] When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;
Seek His Voice in these latter days, the Voice of the Shepherd, the One who can unlock the scriptures (Rev. 3:7) and open the Seals to your mind which "dwelleth within your forehead". The hour is late and His Great Voice is even speaking as trumpet this very day, for the Lord's Day approaches quickly. Rev. 1:10 "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet". If you are a virgin (the symbolic term for a Christian waiting for the wedding of the true Bridegroom) then He has spoken specifically TO YOU in Revelation chapters two and three. Go there and listen to the trumpet.
[31] (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them.
It's up to you. He has "set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live (Deut. 30:19)". How do you choose life? Through the Word of Life (1 Jn. 1:1, Phil. 2:6)!

Amos continues:

Amos 5:6
Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel (church).
Seek not Bethel, (church) O House of Jacob, i.e. the whole natural seed line of Jacob. Seek YHVH, for there is no other that can save you. There is no one in the Beth-els/churches that is able to extinguish His fire.

They have become Beth-avens, houses of emptiness, for if His Word is not taught there, then it is an empty house and He is not there. Neither will the preacher in your Bethel be there to protect you! Only Gospel Armor will withstand the spiritual onslaught. Remember, you are on your own, unless you have drawn close to Him, under His wing!

And now here are some words to you "preachers" and "princes" who reign over the Bethels and the Halls of Justice in our land, who pervert His Word and pervert His justice. You all better get your act together real fast:

[7] Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,
You who pervert judgment, which is divine law, into the serpent's very own venom, you are in serious trouble. Both the religious and the civil leaders, though it is written that the recompense, the judgment upon the heads of the preachers, shall be most swift and most severe.

From an unused root supposed to mean to curse; wormwood (regarded as poisonous, and therefore accursed):—hemlock, wormwood.
Yes, they have taken of the "accursed thing", that which is forbidden (Josh. 22). Therefore, they had better turn and Seek Him because as we have learned, He is coming to Valley of Jehoshaphat to execute judgment among the nations and the house of Israel as well.
[8] Seek Him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
The seven stars are Pleiades which is "kimah" in Hebrew and means "the congregation of the judge". Pleiades is a constellation in the neck of Taurus, the Bull. The constellation Orion, which is "kesil" in Hebrew and means "the coming prince", is also a constellation in Taurus. In as much as our Father does not use words to merely fill space He mentions these constellations of Taurus for a reason. For in the plan of God, which is written in stars of heaven, in the 12 signs of the pure Zodiac, Taurus reveals the "Messiah Coming in Judgment to Rule"!

Amos 5:8 also corresponds to that which is written in the where the LORD is speaking to Job out of the whirlwind. Job has been listening for 36 chapters to a trio of preachers all of whom have Book of Job, chapter 38,"darkened counsel by words without knowledge (Job 38:2)"! These are Beth-Aven type preachers who speak on and on and yet they do NOT know what they are talking about, because they have no knowledge of His Word.

Job 38:31
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?

Can you bind up a cluster of stars or change Orion's belt? Can you bring forth the procession of the constellations (next verse)?

[32] Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?

Mazzaroth is the 12 signs of the Zodiac marking the path of the sun in the heavens. (See appendix 12 in the Companion Bible concerning the Plan of God in the stars.)

[33] Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

The ordinances of heaven, i.e. the laws of the physical universe, did NOT begin with a Big Bang! "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" and he SET them in their paths. So much for the Big Bang Theory. It belongs in the trash can along with the Rapture Theory and the Theory of Evolution!

[34] Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?

Man cannot "calleth for the waters of the sea, and pour them out upon the face of the earth" as we just read in Amos 5:8. And just as He executes His laws in the heavens, He will also execute His laws of justice upon the whole earth and who is going to prevent that from happening? NO ONE!
Amos 5:9
That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.
He causes destruction to come upon the strong so that their fortresses crumble.
Amos 5:10
They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.
"In the gate" means "Judgment in the gate" which is just like the figure of speech we use "the Halls of Justice". Today, if you are a judge who hands out righteous judgment according the Word of God, or the US Constitution which was basically taken from the Word of God, the world will hate you and vilify you. We have seen all too much of this lately on TV! The world also hates a man of God who tells the truth thereby exposing lies and deceit, though you "ain't seen nothin' yet"!
[11] Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.
The perverters of justice exact oppressive taxation and usury to fund the building of their summer and winter houses and plant their vineyards. Their day of recompense is just around the corner when they shall be thrown out into the refuse heap. This was also written of long ago:
Deut. 28:30
Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.
Our Father is not blind! He knows exactly what everyone is up to! Their entire lives are recorded in the book He has with their individual name on the cover (Rev. 20:12).
Amos 5:12
For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.
They turn aside the poor in the halls of justice. We have also witnessed live on TV that if you have money you can buy perverted justice and even get away with murder. But these verses also apply to the religious leaders of our people who have perverted, even polluted, His Word and who exact burdens (offerings) from the poor by promising them God will send them a financial miracle from the "seeds of faith (meaning dollars)" that they send to them. That is a LIE and they shall pay dearly for treading upon the poor in the name of God! Shame on them!
Amos 5:13
Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.
Yes, the time of the fall of the virgin of the house of Israel is soon upon us. It is the time of calamity (an evil time) when the wise who have sought Him through asking, and seeking, and knocking, have had the sealed words of the prophets opened to them (Dan. 12:9-10) and know the time to hold their peace and agree with their adversary in the byway, until such time as they are delivered up to give witness. It will be an evil time because it will be the time when the Evil One will be cast to this earth (Rev. 12:7-9) and shall stand in the holy place performing great signs and wonders and claiming to be Jesus Christ. It shall be a time of trouble such as never was:
Daniel 12:1
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
How wise a virgin are you? How do you seek God? What kind of faith do you have? Do you seek Him by going to church or do you diligently seek Him through His Word and hear His voice?
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
The reward to those who Seek Him is Eternal Life...

... and it doesn't get any better than that!

We are studying the exciting book of the prophet Amos, who was among the herdman of Tekoa (which means trumpet), and whose words concern the 10 tribes of the house of Israel two years before the great earthquake in the days of Uzziah, which prophetically means in the days before the earthquake when Jesus Christ returns.  Zech. 14:5 "And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee."

Next we are going to learn the same lesson we learned in Hosea (whose name means "salvation"), which is that God does not pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and religious ceremony, etc. What He wants is for His children to love Him ("agape" not just "phileo") and to Seek Him through His Word whereby they can be knowledgeable and know the difference between the holy and the profane, even Christ and Satan, the false-christ, and be able to discern between the clean and the unclean, and be able to "judge according to His judgments" both civilly and ecclesiastically.

Hosea 6:6
For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
Remember, we learned that God wants us to Seek Him and NOT Bethel (church), i.e. seek and hunger and thirst after His Word, not merely go to church and follow the traditions of men.

We now continue in the 5th chapter of Amos:

Amos 5:14
Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
Man's ways and his traditions are simply evil for they lead to spiritual famine and social/moral pestilences and ultimately captivity and death. Christians in this generation MUST learn the difference between the holy and the profane, the good and the evil, and learn how to judge righteously (verse 15) according to His judgments, else they shall fall before Satan and be shamed when the Lord returns, for then they will have to be taught discipline in the Millennium and face the Great White Throne Judgment at the end of this earth age. You see, during the Millennium the Zadok, God's elect who shall execute the rod of iron of the King of kings and Lord of lords, will not only teach our people the difference between the holy and the profane and cause them to discern between them...
Ezekiel 44:23
And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

...but they shall also establish righteous judgment in the gates of the cities according to that which is good, HIS WORD!

[24] And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.

What we are going to learn next, in some rather harsh terminology, is that Christians in this great country can either continue to go to church and make sacrifices and give tithes and offerings and sing songs while they ignore seeking that which is good, i.e. His just laws and His statutes (His Word), or they can seek the LORD their God through His Word. Then they can begin to restore and establish righteous judgment in our land and also receive the blessings of the firstfruits and the good graces of our Father even in the greater time of evil yet to come, a greater "Woe" which is yet to come upon the land.
So, here is what He wants you to do:

Amos 5:15
Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
As we shall see in the remainder of this chapter, it is idolatry and religious hypocrisy which breeds injustice that is evil in the sight of the Lord GOD and He hates it. It is written that many, many Christians are in for a big surprise concerning the Day of the LORD. It shall come upon them as a thief in the night. In fact, they are so focused on the Lord returning at any moment that they will easily accept Satan, the first, although he be the spurious messiah and therefore will believe Jesus is already here. But it will be Satan standing in the holy place, performing great signs and wonders in their sight (2 Thes. 2), when the 7th Trump sounds and the real Jesus Christ returns. Yes, their singing and dancing and celebrating shall turn to mourning and lamentation when Yahveh, the God of hosts, pours out the cup of His wrath.
[16] Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.
There won't be enough professional mourners to sing the sad wailing songs for those who did not "Hear ye this word which I take up against you (Amos 5:1)", who were too busy with church and church activities while ignoring His Word and His laws and His commands. He IS coming to put a stop to ALL injustice and idolatry in this nation.
[17] And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.
Do you know which Jesus is coming first, the Holy One or the Profane One? Perhaps you do not even know there are two Jesus Christs, the real one and the fake one, therefore how could you possibly discern between them?  Are you expecting the 7th Trump to sound, i.e. for Jesus to return at any moment and you will then be "taken", as in "raptured", into the clouds? What a sad, sad story that one is! If that is your desire and understanding then you had better open your Bible to 2 Thes. chapter 2 and learn the simple, plain, FACT that we will NOT gather back to Christ until the false Messiah, the Instead-of-Jesus, comes to this earth performing great signs and wonders by which he will deceive the whole world into worshipping him (all except those who have the seal of God, His Word, in their foreheads)!
Amos 5:18
Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
Woe is right! You could be in big trouble right now! You are to seek Him, His Word, and not follow after the traditions of men! So many of our people are looking for the Lord to return at any moment and take them away but they have not taken heed to His warnings and they do not keep His Word. Worse yet, they worship Him according to the traditions of men which are evil in His sight and they believe that they shall escape the great tribulation. But as it is written, it shall not be so. It is written many places in His Word that there is no escape.

 Amos also declares it.
[19] As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
So do you think you can hide or escape from your Father? Adam tried that, but it didn't work! Do you think you can make sacrifice to the false king, i.e. Satan, and eat his bad fruit and then give it to our people to eat, like teaching them to "fly" to save their souls (Ezk. 13:20), and not incur God's wrath.

You better learn to discern! There is only one God, YHVH, the great I AM who brought our forefathers forth from the land of Egypt. Seek Him, and ye shall live! Hosea, among others, also spoke concerning the bear and lion during this time of great famine and drought and how it is that God's people have forgotten Him:

Hosea 13:4
Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.

[5] I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.

We are in the wilderness now, in the land of the great famine and drought of these end times (Amos. 8:11), even the valley of the (spiritually) dry bones scorched by the drought (Ezk. 37).
[6] According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.
It is a hard thing for many people to see how it is that many good church goers in this land have forgotten God. To forget God is to forget His Word, which doesn't mean to forget that it IS the Word of God, but to ignore studying it line by line. Many would rather just go to church, i.e. Seek Bethel!

Note: We are not condemning churches or going to church or our brothers and sisters who simply cannot see that the traditions of men are a "stench" to our Father. We are merely studying the sad song our Father is trumpeting in the ears of His children through His servant Amos.

[7] Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a leopard by the way will I observe them:

[8] I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart, and there will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.

The lion, the bear and the leopard which are spoken of here in and also in Hosea 13Daniel 7:4-6 and Revelation 13:2 shall come upon them and consume them. They are all part of that great beast, the one world political system. Amos adds the serpent himself in vs. 19.
[9] O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.
Hey, we have the Word of God available all over this great land! There are many times more Bibles in this country than people. How is it then that we have become a nation of such Biblical illiterates? Where are the teachers of His Word?

Turn to Him, to His Word, and seek Him for only He can save you. This is so simple. Do you realize that Jesus Christ even did away with all ritualism and blood sacrifices and handwriting of ordinances (Col. 2)? You do not need to belong to some religion or religious organization (seek not Bethel) nor conform to ANY of their do's and don'ts. Our Father has repeated three times alone in this 5th chapter of Amos what it is He wants us to do: "For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live (Amos 5:4)".

Amos 5:20
Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
O America, the leading house of the free Christian nations of the world, listen and take heed to the words of the LORD. HEAR if you can what your Father thinks of church-going vs. keeping His righteous commands:
[21] I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
Again, He wants you to SEEK HIM, not Bethel! What feast days does He despise? Well for openers, many of His children keep a feast day of the pagan goddess, Astarte, i.e. Ishtar, that was never divinely instituted and which is laden with gross and idolatrous practices and symbols. That day is Easter, a word that is not even in the New Testament (The word in Acts 12:4 is "pascha", i.e. Passover) . Even on the highest day of Christianity, the Lord's Passover, they roll Ishtar's eggs on "the grass" and bring into His house her other symbols of fertility from the sexual orgies in the groves, such as quick like little "bunny rabbits"!  Have you never read what our Father has to say about Ashtoreth in His Word? Then read 1 Kings chapter 11 and do not follow after the traditions of your forefathers who forsook His word and were thus taken captive and scattered among the heathen.
[22] Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
Remember Hosea 6:6? He does not want your sacrifices and burnt offerings! He wants you to love Him and believe in Him enough whereby you will seek Him through His Word and through that divine knowledge let His righteous "judgment run down as waters (vs. 24)". Then the crack in our Liberty Bell can be healed and the words of His Law inscribed thereon can ring throughout our land, "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof" (Lev. 25:10).

That, is music to the ears of our God, yes, "Liberty and Justice for All"! That can ONLY be achieved under His righteous judgments, through teaching and keeping His Holy Word, thereby KNOWING the difference between the Holy and the profane and discerning between the clean and the unclean.

[23] Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
So sing, sing, sing* dear Christian. Go ahead and wave your hands in the air, say amen on cue, and listen to con men tell you that God loves your songs of praise and worship. Or better yet, why don't you listen to what your Father has to say to you in His Word, right here in Amos, through His servant the herdman from Trumpetville.

* Note: There is nothing wrong with songs and music. Our Father loves music and a joyful heart, but if you do not seek Him and instead you wallow in the traditions of men and allow the festering pestilence of liberalism and perverted justice to keep our Liberty Bell silent, that Precious Bell with His Words declaring a Jubilee in the land inscribed right on it, then get ready to sing a sad, sad song! The good news is that those who Seek Him now and are "sealed with His Word" shall overcome the beast of deception and will be singing the victory Song of Moses (Rev. 15) on that day of Christ's return instead of mourning and lamenting.

Songs are not what is music to our Father's ears! JUSTICE and the execution of His divine laws with Political Righteousness and NOT Political Correctness are music to His ears!

[24] But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.
Oh how the LORD loves judgment: Isaiah 61:8 "For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering...".
[25] Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?
Do you think you offer acceptable sacrifices and offerings to God in your Bethels, O house of Israel? Does it feel real good when you go to church and sing songs and put your sacrifice (money) in the offering basket as the mood music soothes your Biblically illiterate mind? Do you not know who it is you serve in some of those Beth-Avens, those houses of emptiness which are void of truth because they are void of His Word? Wake up! God isn't listening to your songs nor is He accepting your sacrifices unless you seek Him, and then ye shall live!
[26] But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.
You want to know what this verse really says? It says that you church going, rapture seeking (desiring the Day instead of His Word) Christians already bear, i.e. carry, the mark of the false-christ (Molech, the false king) and already worship his image.
[27] Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts.
Babylon lies beyond Damascus, even Babylon the Great (Rev. 17, 18) of these end times. Did you know that Steven quoted these verses from the Book of Amos just before He was stoned to death? He reminded his accusers about the idolatry of their forefathers and how they rejected Moses and rejected God by returning to that "old
 time religion" and that they were just like them, just as adulterous/idolatrous. They didn't like what he had to say!  Yes, "Give me that Old Time Religion" is how the song goes. Now therefore, you are going back into the captivity of Babylon, even Babylon the Great, saith the LORD. Here is part of Steven's address to the religious hypocrites, one of whom was a man named Saul who was standing by collecting the clothes of the witnesses. Steven is talking here about Israel in the wilderness:
Acts 7:41
And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

[42] Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?

This is taken from Amos 5:25-27.
[43] Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
Do you do as your forefathers did, or do you Seek the LORD God through His Word? How long have you been a Christian? Do you still celebrate Easter???
Acts 7:51
Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
Again, because they know not the scriptures it is a hard thing for many Christians to see the idolatry in their worship of God, or worse yet to recognize who Molech is and where he stands today, for he is the one whose tabernacle they bear! The sad song is that our churches have failed to teach God's Word. Most pastors do not feed the sheep of His sheepfold, those lost sheep of the house of Israel. Our preachers and ministers continue to feed them the same bad fruit from the same rotten tree which was in the midst of the garden. This they do from the pulpits in the name of Christ while the fat-cats on Capital Hill (Samaria) continue to rip off the people's wealth, money, and freedom. Surely you can feel the squeeze on your arms as you are led deeper into captivity?

Most of our people are not eating their fruit from the tree of life, His Word. That is why we are in such big trouble. The question is: "How wise are you in the final generation?" It is written in the Book of Daniel that the "wise" in this generation would understand the words of the prophets (Dan. 12:10). Do you? Do you know from which tree you get your fruit? Your Father says you are to get it from Him.

Hosea 14:8
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
Ephraim was the largest of the 10 tribes of Israel, as is America today, and is used symbolically to represent all the tribes of Israel. In Hosea, the book about the "salvation" of our people, our Father likens Himself to an Evergreen Tree and says from HIM is where you are to get your fruit. Seek Him, and ye shall live!
[9] Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
