You see, many Christian's hardly ever read the books of the Old Testament
except for what they call "Bible Stories",
like the Holy Spirit is some kind of a fiction writer.

They look upon the Old Testament books, like Ezekiel,
as being sort of ancient history,
old irrelevant writings of prophets who lived a long,
long time ago and who have long since been dead!

What possibly could they have to say about the 21st century and our modern times?

And yet they know not that this book of Ezekiel contains more prophecy
in the last nine chapters about the future time of the Millennium
than any other book of the Bible including the Book of Revelation,
for the entire plan of God is written in the Old Testament
including both the first AND the second advents of Jesus Christ.

He used the "king of Babylon" to come against His people
who turned to idolatry in the PAST and He will do so AGAIN in these last days,
only the king of Babylon in the end is the antichrist,
the false messiah,
Satan himself.

Always remember 1 Cor. 10:11.
The physical types set forth in the Old Testament
happened to give us a clear PICTURE
of what we can expect to befall us spiritually in the last days.
1 Cor. 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Jesus even said in Matthew 24 that just as it was in the days of Noah,
so shall it be before He returns.

The fallen angels are coming again
and we are going to have a FLOOD of LIES (Rev. 12:15)
that will deceive the whole world and sweep away the ungodly,
to their spiritual death!

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
