"WATCHMAN, WARN THEM"

Now Ezekiel, the watchman,
is going to receive specific instructions directly from the LORD
regarding the message that He wants delivered to His people!

If you have eyes to see and ears to hear
and are therefore a watchman in this final generation,
then this set of instructions is for you!

Ezekiel 6:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

[2] Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

"You set your sights toward the nations [mountains] of Israel,
Mr. Watchman, and prophesy AGAINST them", saith the LORD.

That means to WARN them,
so you know this isn't going to be a nice little "Sweet Baby Jesus" message.

[3] And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
"You,
my watchman,
go tell the nations of Israel, even the smaller countries,
and those people along the rivers and in the valleys and rural communities,
'Thus saith the Lord GOD', and 'It is Written':
'Behold, the Lord God, Adonai Yahveh, will bring a sword upon you,
and will destroy your high places.'"

"High places" are places of worship (see Num. 22:41, 33:52).
And even today our people have brought in abominations
and heathen practices into their churches and serve "bread" mixed with Satan's dung!

The Lord God is NOT happy about it, and here is what He is going to do about it!

[4] And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.

[5] And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones* round about your altars.

Now stop and consider again 1 Cor. 10:11
"Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.",
because here is what we are to understand
from what God is telling the forerunner
(Ezekiel) of the WATCHMEN of this final generation,
"upon whom the ends of the world are come"

To study the Bible is the noblest of all pursuits; to understand it, the highest of all goals.
We pray that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you accomplish both.
