"See a Sword Slice Thru a Man's Soul"
Which Jesus do you follow?
There are two you know!
Do you follow the Jesus taught by the traditions of men, in most of our so-called Christian churches,
or do you follow the One who reveals Himself through
His Word, the Bible?
Are you deceived by men's traditions and will thus be
taken captive by Satan, the
Instead-of-Jesus,
or do you have the wisdom through the knowledge of His
Word, i.e.
enough oil in your lamp,
to see your way and endure until the end when the true
Messiah returns at the 7th Trump?
Let us take a lesson from the history of our people.
Always remember that what happened to our people in the
past
happened as a type for our benefit, for our admonition,
so that we "upon whom the ends of the world (age) are
come"
can get a clear visual PICTURE in our minds of what will
befall us spiritually in these last days.
Because you see,
the captivity and the battle of these last days is a
spiritual conflict,
a battle for the inner souls of men that cannot be seen
with the flesh eye.
In other words, you can see an
actual sword slice through a man's flesh,
but you cannot see a spiritual
sword slice through a man's soul.
Neither
can you "see" the "spiritual captivity" of our people
by
the soon coming King of Babylon (Satan as the false-christ),
but
you can "see" the physical captivity of our people by the historical King
of Babylon.
Again, that is why God had all those historical events
of our people recorded for us in scripture.
Do you think all of those events just happened by chance?
Absolutely not!
Paul explains:
1 Cor. 10:11
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples:
and they are written for our admonition,
upon whom the ends of the world are come.
For example: The
seduction by the fallen angels that took place before flood of Noah,
and the devastating flood of Noah
itself,
helps us visualize the spiritual
seduction of God's people and the spiritually devastating flood of lies
soon to drown the whole world in
deception.
That is why Christ said in Luke 17:26-27
"And as it was in the days of Noe,
so shall it be also in the days
of the Son of man.
[27] They did eat, they drank,
they married wives,
they were given in marriage,
until the day that Noe entered
into the ark,
and the flood came, and destroyed
them all."
We just learned here in the Book of Hosea that God said
our people would go to Assyria because of their whoredoms
(idolatry),
their seeking after other gods and relying on alliances
with other nations for their protection.
And so shall it be in these last days that our people
are going into spiritual captivity for the same reasons.
You know the saying, "History repeats itself."
Therefore history is actually prophecy, isn't it?
You see,
our Father warned our people when He made His covenant
with the whole congregation of Israel,
that if they would keep His laws and obey His commands
He would greatly bless them and protect them.
However, if they transgressed against Him they would
be severely chastised (see Deut. 27:14-26).
Hosea 7:12
When they shall go,
I will spread my net upon them;
I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven;
I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.
[13] Woe unto them! for they have fled from me:
destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me:
though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
In other words, just as the analogy of Gomer's adultery
is given to graphically show our people's spiritual idolatry,
the words of Christ and the lesson to be learned in this
7th chapter of Hosea is
that if you are "silly" (deceived) and "without heart"
(without wisdom from His Word) in these last days,
you will be spiritually seduced and will be taken spiritually
captive by Satan. I.e.,
you will worship the wrong Jesus Christ, the false Messiah.
[14] And they have not cried unto me with their heart,
when they howled upon their beds:
they assemble themselves for corn and wine,
and they rebel against me.
If you would like a clear, precise vision of exactly how
our people are,
then read the entire 78th Psalm.
Here is an excerpt:
Psalm 78:35
And they remembered that God was their rock,
and the high God their redeemer.[36] Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth,
and they lied unto him with their tongues.[37] For their heart was not right with him,
neither were they stedfast in his covenant.
Jesus Christ said in Luke 10:19,
"Behold,
I give unto you power to tread
on serpents and scorpions,
and
over all the power of the
enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
He is our power and our might.
Hosea 7:15
Though I have bound and strengthened their arms,
yet do they imagine mischief against me.
If you have, or if you do,
you will find that EVERY TIME the king and the people
turned to God,
they were victorious
and EVERY TIME they forsook Him
the victory belonged to the enemy.
"O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee (Hosea 6:4)?"
Are we stupid or something?
Check out the words "imagine" and "mischief"
used in verse 15 in your Strong's Concordance.
To "imagine mischief" against God is simply to "weave
or fabricate"
(imagine) "good for nothing" (mischief) traditions of
men.
It reminds one of Ezekiel 13 where the false prophets
weave or "sew pillows" over the outstretched saving and
protecting arms of our Father.
In other words, they hide and cover up the truth with
their fabrications
and their lying divinations and their phony-bologna fly-away
doctrines.
THEN... they want God to bless them. Go figure!
[16] They return, but not to the most High:
they are like a deceitful bow:
their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue:
this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.
Sound the Alarm,
Blow the Trumpet,
because as it is written,
our people are about to be taken
captive once again.
